It always seems to be so busy, especially at their drive thru. But this time we decided to order our food inside and it's been so long since I've been to Chick- fil-a. They have so many people working in the kitchen, behind the counters. Everyone there is so delightful and they are kind enough to bring your food out to you, too. For my order, I had the kids meal! First time doing that here! But I ordered the grilled chicken nuggets, Mac and cheese with a pineapple dragon fruit drink. The drink is very good and nice to have on a hot day! I wasn't too sure if I was going to like the grilled nuggets, but I did. Very juicy and tender. But for the Mac and cheese, I really wanted to try this. It came out freshly made, but I thought the cheese had a little grainy texture to it. If it were creamier, I think I would've liked it more. read more

All booths were dirty but I bring wipes with me and was not surprised that the staff who are absolutely incredible and helpful and friendly were running around like crazy. The service is amazing. I ordered the regular original meal. The waffle fries were barely luke warm.. maybe they are supposed to be slightly warm? The chicken sandwich bread was soft and fresh and delicious. It's the chicken.. huge portion, but the breading is just off. Not sure what it is about it but I prefer the McDonalds crispy chicken much more. I got BBQ sauce to dip my chicken in and it is just nasty. So skip that next time. Love how busy it is. Love the kids running around and folks seem happy. Great atmosphere. Ive been here twice in the past two weeks in the afternoon 5:30 pm right before bingo night. The staff is so rude here compared to other chick fil A every time they drop my food off and I said thank you. They never ever respond. They always forget something so I have to go up the counter and ask for it and they just look at you and ignore you while you're standing there. Eventually, I was helped and I said thank you then and nothing was said back to me. At other restaurants they ask if you need anything when staff pass by you, here they just ignore you. Parking is a mess, drive thru is a mess. We were sent aside to wait for our order. Even though there was NOTHING SPECIAL about it. 2 regular sandwiches and a nugget combo, we waited about 10 minutes. Even though we specifically asked to add 5 sauces and were told no problem they will be in the bag, guess what.... They weren't. My Mom and sister got some Chick-fil-A for our dinner on their way home from getting a socially distanced and following protocol haircut. When there she said that everything seemed to be in such chaos in the moments leading up to getting into the drive-thru, as she didn't want to go instead as my sister has health concerns. So when she placed the order she noticed that the cashier was still in training and seemed to be a little flustered with all of the order coming in. This is when the issue started. After receiving her food, she noticed that the receipt was a little less than she had though, thinking nothing of it she proceeded him to find out that she was missing a sandwich-that she paid for by the way. So my Mom gave me her chicken sandwich while she had leftovers. Now the food itself was still good, still warm temperature and the fries and fry sauce were delicious (mainly the reason why this is receiving a three star instead of lower). However, in training or not, does not excuse the fact that staff should be checking to make sure everything is in the bag (maybe even read it off too) prior to the customer grabbing it. With all of the commercials boasting about going that "extra mile" sadly we didn't see that from the Covington location. This place should really get 5 stars but they just don't measure up. The food itself is the best fast food you can get. The employees are very friendly, smile, and are patient. The big issue I have is with my curbside orders. They have been incorrect every single time! For instance, the last three orders, I asked for no corn on the salad. I uploaded a pic showing the sticker with "no corn" and there's clearly corn in it. After the first one I called and spoke with the manager. She was very nice and said that I would have a free salad added to my account for my next order. I returned two days later and there wasn't a free salad added. Over the course of one month, I've had missing salad dressing, missing BBQ sauce, shorted one to two chicken nuggets (in an 8 and 12 pack), waffle fry box was only 3/4 full, and I keep getting a different amount of chicken on my salad. After I get home and discover that stuff is missing or wrong, I'm not willing to drive back to the restaurant and I shouldn't have to! The orders need to be correct and there needs to be consistency. Well, the hype may have helped contribute to my review rating, but honestly, it's a decent fast food style, except... not very fast. There was a pretty good line of people inside, which wrapped around toward the back. I'm not sure if it's still from the "sensationalism" of the media, new restaurant in the area, or if the food is just that good. Well, rest assure, the food is pretty damn good! The chicken was very tender, real simple ingredients, and has that old high school vibe mentality of "how many of these little suckas can you wolf down?" Well, being somewhat on a Keto lifestyle, I was able to toss the bread aside, and dive right into the meat of the matter, and it is good! The wife says the fries are pretty tasty, and she prefers them over most speedy places. Overall, the experience was good, the service was a bit slow for our tastes, however, it is by definition quicker than your traditional sit down restaurants, but take it for what it's worth. Either the long lines and slow waiting time is either an indicator of great food and repeat business, or it was just bad timing on my part. Either way, the food was delicious and reasonably priced. They are unparalleled in the fast food industry, each time you get polite, quick, and attentive service. One of the few places where the food you get actually looks like it does in advertisements!
