For one, she looked at the material and the stain and explained why fixing it would be more expensive than the sweater was worth. Clothes were never lost (or only for a few minutes) and they were typically returned to me cleaned and pressed in the desired fashion. I hadn't realized these low standards are hard to come by now, but they are. Lost or melted bottons were always replaced graciously. I typically don't like family owned and operated enterprises, but everyone hete is down to earth and friendly. George has his favorites of course and they appear privileged, but it rarely impeded the service I received over the years.

He quoted me a price of 30 to 80 dollars and I thought that was more than fair, otherwise i was planning to just discard the coat. A week roles around and I go to pick up the coat and it is still not complete because the owner claims he is looking for a part to match the coat in order for the work to get done. I was ok with this. I told him to keep it as long as he needed to get the job done. I then go to pick it up a few days later, the owner claims the work is complete and charges me 30 dollars. Not having much experience with the process, I didn't question the work and brought it home. Once home, i try on the coat and the exact same damaged zipper is on the coat. Nothing was replaced or repaired to my knowledge. I bring the coat back and he claims he replaced "the slider". I'm not even sure what "the slider" is, this slider did not even need to be replaced to begin with and did not even offer me a refund on the 30$ that I wasted on this business. Long story short, check their work if you are going to use them. I wouldn't rely on them for tailoring services. They may be ok to use for dry cleaning but based on my experience with this business i will not ever use them again.

First I went to a different dry cleaners who said that he could get it done but it wouldn't be ready in time. The second place I went to said that she wouldn't recommend dry cleaning it as the machines could mess up those embellishments and they would have to send it out to be pressed anyway. So finally came here and I wish I had stopped here first!! The women were both very kind and welcoming. They looked over my dress in detail, tested some spots and agreed that I could probably spot treat the marks like they showed me at home to save myself money and to keep the integrity of the dress. Then I could bring it back and they would press it for me. I came back on my lunch break with the marks cleaned (which did come off super easy)and she said I would be able to get it same day. The Press was only $9 and when I came back to pick it up the next day, they were both once again very kind. I highly recommend coming to this dry cleaners as they really care about your clothes!
