A quick response, and on time help from Javier to help rekey our door. Would definitely recommend them!

If all home services sent out their technicians or reps as quickly as Chicago Locksmith does, the world would be a better place in so many ways. I called Chicago Locksmith before lunch on a Monday, and the customer service was smooth. The guy gave me a two-hour window in which the locksmith would show up, but when I requested a specific time, he said that's when the locksmith would be there. True enough. The locksmith, Joe, appeared at my requested time. After about 2 hours, he was able to re-key 5 different locks on three different doors. I got 2 free keys as well. Aside from being professional and knowledgeable, Joe's sense of humor just made him that much more personable. Everything ended up being less than $200 bucks, lower than several quotes I received from comparable services. I'd use their service again fo' sho'. read more

It's Saturday night --- and I was merely coming home from an extremely long day! I had taken my house keys off today, for my son to walk my baby english bulldog. When I returned home - I found I had left the keys in the house. I called Chicago Locksmith and within 2 minutes a very friendly and reassuring gentleman called me. He, NOT only reassured me, he said he would be at my home in less than 15 min. Rich showed up and was professional, calming and efficient. It took him no more than 3 minutes! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone, my friends, family and professional network. Wow! I am truly impressed. Please consider this company in your time of need. read more

Chicago Locksmiths was amazing to work with! They responded to my request within minutes, provided a quote with a photo via text to them of the lock to replace. They completed the job (for no extra cost) on a Saturday and even came earlier based on a last minute scheduling change on my part. This is A+++ service and I highly recommend. read more

Tory and Adam came out within the hour and got me into my door quickly. He called right away to let me know his ETA. They were both very polite and friendly. The only confusing factor is I called Chicago Locksmith and 24/7 Locksmith responded, I believe on their behalf. read more

Locked myself out of my car last night when I went to visit some friends for a night out downtown. Decided to use Chicago Locksmith's services since their estimated time was so short - only 25 minutes. Not only were they there only 20 minutes later, but they were super friendly, reasonably priced, and quick! I'll definitely be keeping their number in my phone in case that happens again! read more

Awesome service from setting up the appointment to the delivery of our brand new car key (since we lost ours). Seriously life savers!

Richard and George came out and fixed out front door lock quickly and efficiently. We would use this company again.

The lock to the front door of our building was suddenly completely broken -- my neighbors and I couldn't get in, and we couldn't get out! I would have normally gone to Home Depot and fixed this myself for $20, but It was after midnight so Home Depot was closed, and we wanted to be able to lock the door so we could sleep without worrying about someone coming into the building. So we called Chicago Locksmith, the dispatcher on the phone was professional and courteous, and the locksmith called and communicated well on the phone, and got out to us as soon as he could - we didn't have to wait too long. He seemed to really know what he was doing, and his price was reasonable, considering that this was a 24-hour late night service. read more

After removing all of my locks, Kenny left me alone in my house for 15 minutes without warning or letting me know where he was going. I am having my locks changed for personal safety reasons and this is not OK. I called the office to ask if this was standard procedure and they admitted it wasn't. When Kenny returned, he was upset with me and tried to convince me that I was overreacting to the point of further upsetting me greatly. When he finally continued working, he laid out metal tools and components directly on my wood floor. When I asked him to please work on the rug inches from him instead, he stormed out to call his office and talk very badly of me within earshot of me. He finally started working again but remained on the phone for awhile talking about his schedule and other topics. He never once apologized for leaving me alone or upsetting me nor did he try to understand why you don't leave a woman with personal safety issues alone in a house without locks for an extended time. I wanted 0 stars but that wasn't an option read more

Efficient locksmith service. I called the company who directed me to the nearest location. I messaged them a picture of my apartment keys to see if they had them in stock, which they did. They were available in the evening and got the job done in a couple minutes. I will use them again. read more

Chicago Locksmiths are great! The lady who answered the phone and set up my appointment was friendly, efficient and so helpful. Stephen, locksmith #60647 arrived within 10 minutes. Stephen was very nice and professional and before he began the work, he explained services and prices - very reasonable. Stephen changed my doorknob and installed a deadbolt in no time, with no mess. Not only was his work quick, it looks great! If i ever need a locksmith again- I would definitely call Chicago Locksmiths and ask for Stephen. Thank you! read more

Have had several keys made here, they all have worked great! We all know how terrible it feels to have a spare key made that doesn't work. Not these guys! Well done! In fact, Don't even go anywhere else! read more

Fast service, opened the door in less than 5 minutes. Joe was extremely professional and courteous. He called when he was on his way and let us know an eta so we didn't have to stand around and wait forever. read more

I would never use again. I had a lockout, they couldn't pick the lock and decided to break the doorknob and put on a new one--fine. Except after supposedly rekeying the knob to my old key, I still couldn't get into my house the next day and was stuck outside for hours waiting for a technician to come back. After once again adding another doorknob, my key works but my fiance's key doesn't. Did I mention that I'm still being expected to pay for this "service"? I will be disputing this transaction with my bank. Never again. read more

Richard was my tech. He was great! Very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us several options to fix our lock problem and save us money. After he quickly replaced our lock, he was kind enough to take a look at another lock that was giving me a problem. I would highly recommend Richard and The Chicago Locksmith Company! read more

I have been using Shay, Simon and Eli for the last 5 years and not one issue. Have referred them to clients (I am Realtor so the need for a reliable locksmith is important) and they have been pleased. One thing I like about these men is that they give you a time; if they are running behind they call and continue to call if they are in a time crunch. Fees..could not tell you if they are in line with their competitors I know that if I am locked out of a listing they are there as fast as they can be or again if a client needs them; the client is always pleased with their service read more

Great experience overall! I was having trouble with my ignition, and a dispatcher sent someone out within 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. Robert (I think was his name?) wasn't able to fix it for me, but he made me a back-up key that I ended up needing. He was also very nice and let me sit in his van while I waited because it was still cold outside! Then Brian called and came by within a couple hours! He took the steering wheel apart and fixed it in under a half an hour in the dark. Very friendly, very fast, and now it works! It also cost the bottom end of what he quoted me, so honest as well. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because communication between everyone was a little wonky. A discount didn't get passed through, and there wasn't a clear record of the first man who came. Otherwise, very happy for the help! read more

Always the nicest customer service. Today was no exception. And FAST! I won't go anywhere else in Chicago for locks and keys. I'm a tough critic too on customer service but these guys do it right. Thank you for running a great business! read more

I live in Chicago, but was visiting the Morton Arboretum when I lost my car key for my Mazda 2 in the snow. Found the Chicago Locksmiths on Google. When I called, they were able to give me a quote and connect me with a local technician. After some back and forth with AAA, I went ahead and called the technician, who was able to be there in 30 mins. Robert was very nice and worked quickly, even in the freezing cold. The price ($250) was unfortunate but not much more than I was expecting. All was good until a couple days later, when the key would work only intermittently (went to get food and when I came out of the restaurant, it wouldnt start because it was not recognized). I called the locksmith company, who scheduled Robert to come to Chicago to check it out. There was some scheduling confusion and Robert needed to come later than originally scheduled, but he made another key for free, thinking this key was a bad make or the chip inside had gotten loose somehow. While I wish I had my original key, this company was very responsive and I was so happy with the free replacement. Never knew this was out there until I needed it, and it was a life saver! read more

I trusted Chicago Locksmiths with my situation and something went wrong. They have not been able to correct it and because they do not want to refund my payment are trying to now say that it is something. Else wrong with my car. I am not satisfied and do not recommend their services unless you are willing to take the chance. If you take the chance, hope that all is perfect and well because they do not back up their work and product and I have been without a car since 10-18-16 read more
