Came out fast for a reasonable price. Would use them again if needed. Had a door that was stuck shut.

Secure Locks - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me

So, sit tight for this review. I called Secure Locks when my daughter locked herself out of her car (well that's what we thought). Thinking the keys were in the trunk we knew we needed a locksmith. After having 0 success with my roadside assistance (grrr) I found Secure Locks. Explained my situation and was told a technician would reach out shortly (I had heard that story before). But then there was Edoardo. He called and was so great. I explained the situation. Understanding that he couldn't give me an exact number (because we weren't certain the keys were in the trunk), we agreed on the estimate and set a time for him to come out - SAME DAY. He called with his ETA and was ON TIME (I love when that happens). After some tried and true methods, he was able to open the car and then the trunk but alas, no keys. Knowing this might be the case, we went forward with him creating new keys in his mobile shop. He was back and forth between the car and his work van. He was efficient and thoughtful. He explained what work needed to happen and within 2 hours we had 2 new keys and a renewed belief in people following through on what they promise. Secure Locks (and specifically Edoardo) is THE BOMB. Oh and I'm sure we will need his help again....thanks for reading, now go call them. read more

Technician Igor was very good and professional. There was a problem with the initial fob but he came back the next day with a new one and fixed everything, like he said he would. All in record cold weather of December 25' read more

This was such an interesting experience. Secure Locks says they have transparent pricing, but during my phone call on Wednesday, 1/7/26, I inquired about the cost and received nothing. That's my fault for not pressing the man on the issue. I scheduled my appointment for the following day, and was stood up by the technician. That evening I called to relay that no one arrived and about a half hour later, a technician called. Rescheduled for today, 1/9/26. Technician arrived and my new key cost $360. I'm not angry, but it would have been nice to be offered a discount after not showing up the previous day. After the service was completed, I called the number I used on Wednesday and Thursday, and now it's out of service. Huh? It's just unfortunate to want to trust a business, but can't. Placing this experience on my "note to self" list. read more

At 11am I called and booked an appointment for 1pm that day. At 1pm, they didn't even show up after I had walked half an hour to the place we were meeting. No call or anything. When I called both the technician and the female receptionist with whom I booked my appointment, neither of them apologized or seemed to care that they had no showed an appointment. I eventually got in touch with a new technician, Igor, who did a great job, however. read more

Gerson arrived on time, finished on time and at a reasonable price (especially compared to dealership. Highly recommend

They helped me and gave 1/2 price of dealer. Came to my house, so then once I understood price I even ordered a third key. Excellent service. Ace hardware had the same price but they didn't have my make and Dec model on hand, so would have taken longer. But even if I went with ace hardware ace was not going to come to my house. So, why wait. I want someone who does this every single day. read more

I would not recommend. If you are in a bind, Jose is not reliable and while he is polite, he is a poor communicator and fails to respect other people's time. I called Secure Locks to have a new lock installed. Jose responded quickly and agreed that he would come out the following day. The next day around 2 p.m. when I had not heard from him, I called. He apologized and said he could come out around 6 p.m. Later, when I texted him at 5:30 to let him know I was home and he could come by whenever, he said he couldn't make it. Unfortunately, this reflects a lack of basic communication skills, professionalism, and reliability. read more

Lost the only key fob to my car and was shocked at the price the dealer would charge- after I had my car towed to them. So I was thrilled to learn about Secure Locks! Martin was able to come to my car a few hours after I contacted him. He was friendly and informative and in just a few minutes, I had a new fob at half the price of the dealer was going to charge! read more

Quick service, reasonable prices, won't charge if didn't have a successful result, if the issues were beyond their knowledge

Great work by George & Andrea.. The response time was only a few minutes & they were able to be at my location in less than fifteen minutes.. On a Friday Night. It was a very old entry door lock. I had fixed it years ago, but it finally Died. Andrea had a new part that we needed.. and the Fix was in. Good Job guys read more

We needed a lock for my son's car, they came out right away, George who took care of us, was friendly and professional.

Great service! They re-keyed 8 locks within 90 minutes, on Sunday, with reasonable price. Highly recommended!

George did a great job. He responded quickly and arrived on time and most important did a great job and a fair price.

They were so responsive in my lockout on a Saturday night. Reasonable price and great response time.

Very good work. The master arrived in time and helped me with my locks. Much appreciated.

We locked ourselves out because we lost our keys. The Andrei the owner picked up the call right away and said that he would send someone over in 20 minutes. Within minutes we had several missed calls (because we weren't paying attention to our phone but rather still scrambling to find the keys). We eventually noticed and called back. George picked up and said he would be there in 30. They're communication and response time was incredible. George eventually came and was able to sort out our situation. He was very friendly and professional and it didn't take him long. Not only that, he offered to help me search for the keys which I said no. He was already very helpful. He insisted and stayed to help and in fact found the lost keys. These folks go above and beyond. I have them saved in our bookmarks and phone if we ever need them again. read more

excellent, polite, on time service. I needed my remote car key lock replaced, and I made an appointment easily on the phone, and now I have a new car key with remote. I would highly recommend. Price is more than fair, better than dealership prices. read more

I lost my only set of keys and was in a blind panic! I contacted Secure Locks and spoke with George. He was helpful and calm ( unlike myself) and we arranged for him to come make and program a new set of keys that afternoon. Before he arrived my lost keys were returned and George was very pleasant when I called to cancel that appointment. I decided one emergency was enough so I made an appointment for him to come make an extra key . He arrived right on time, made and programmed my keys and at less than half of what the Honda dealer would have charged! Thank you Secure Locks! I hope I don't need your services again too soon but I appreciate the help! read more

Needed an old key copied. Went here on Milwaukee because it was close by and they say they can make keys in 10 minutes. Walked into store and was greeted by young woman who proceeded to tell me "I don't make keys" and I would have to come back maybe tomorrow or day after. When I complained about you shouldn't advertise 10 minutes she the told me "I don't need your attitude". Maybe the technicians in the field are good but if you go to the office expect very little. read more

I am tucking this company site away in my contacts for when I need a new car key and will recommend them to my friends. I thought I had lost my second key and spent a frantic hour and half looking and calling places. The dealership cost was over $400....plus the "installation" which I think can run up another $200. The quote from Secure Locks was less than half of this cost, AND...they were going to be able to schedule a technician that day (I have a road trip at 7:30am tomorrow) Everyone that I talked with was so nice, accommodating and understanding of my situation. After I had everything scheduled for this evening, I called to inform my husband of my crisis and awesome solution with Secure Locks. There was a pause....my extra key was found in HIS backpack. (Now that begs another story... LOL). Anyway, Secure Locks customer service has won me over as well as the reviews from those that did get a replacement key for their cars. read more

I live in CT and my son had my car in Elmwood Park when he lost the keys on a Saturday morning. I found Secure Locks online and the Yelp reviews were good, so I called for help. I got a quick response and was quoted a fair price. They sent someone out to help and my son was very happy with the service. Highly recommended! read more

Fantastic customer service! They scheduled an appointment right away, came to our house and replaced our broken car key fob within 24 hours of calling - all at a very reasonable price. Definitely recommend! read more

I don't know what I would have done without these guys. I locked myself out of my apartment in the city close to midnight and I honestly had no idea what to do. I went downstairs and the doorman suggested Secure Locks - apparently they are the preferred vendor for both my management company and my building. I called Secure Locks and someone immediately answered. After a brief conversation, they claimed someone was on their way. Since this has never happened to me before, I decided to call around other companies to gauge what the price should be. About 30 minutes later, the technician showed up with a smile on his face (adding that in there because it was close to 1am at this point and I would hate to have to come out to someones home that late). The technician not only unlocked my door, didnt damage the lock AND beat the price of all the competitors by $125! I was so happy that I wanted to invite him in haha. Anyway, these guys are truly amazing and will recommend them to everyone I know. Thank you Secure Locks. read more

Just wanted to thank George and Secure Locks Chicago for coming out at 9pm and giving me an honest assessment of my door lock. He just said that the key was worn out and made me copies. Thank you so much for all your help. Much appreciated!!! read more

Lost my car keys while out and about in the city and Secure Locks was the cheapest of the five places I called about getting replacement keys, and were super fast as well. Literally got to me within 10 minutes of my call, where some of the other places I called still hadn't gotten me connected with their technicians for two hours or more. Hope to never have to call them again, but if I do find myself in that crappy situation, they'd be my first call. George was the person who actually came out to me and he was super friendly and easy to talk to. read more

Bought a used car that only came with one key fob. Wanted to have a second key just in case and I'm so glad I reached out to Secure Locks. They went to my home later that day and programmed another key for me in about 10-15 minutes. Martin was very polite and professional. He explained everything to me and of course had me test the new and old key before he left. If you're shopping around, look no further- This Company is the best. Very happy with Secure Locks. read more

My initial call to this company was returned very promptly. I called a total of 4 companies for estimates for our work. During that call he gave me ideas of costs for the door knobs and locks and deadbolts I needed. We are changing colors from gold to silver and our house is very old. We wanted 4 door locks and 4 deadbolts installed. When I was ready for him to do the job, he came out within 2 hours. We were so pleased with his professionalism, we decided to change 4 other door locks and a deadbolt on another day. We highly recommend this locksmith company. read more

I lost a key for my Lexus, called the dealer, and a few other places. Andrei from Secure Locks quoted me by far the best price. He came out to my location the same day and finished the job in less than 20 min. Dealer wanted to charge me over $350 and I needed to tow my car there, while Secure Locks showed up at my location. I'm a very satisfied customer, Secure Locks saved me both time and money, can't beat that. read more

Excellent service. Andrei picked up every time I called, was easy to schedule, came on time and did a great job. My keys had been lost so he needed to make a new key for my Honda and my old Volvo (Volvos are a lot more challenging and some people won't make keys for them at all). He even showed me some useful tricks with my Volvo that I wasn't aware of. Going to two dealerships would have cost me hours and more than double what Andrei charged. A+ would fully recommend! read more

Who is amazing and professional? This guy, Andrei. From the first communication, he was timely, professional and to the point. He replied to a general quote request on yelp in a prompt, courteous manner. He was out the next day and took care of 3 locks w new keys. This included a storm door and two electronic front door locks. Expert re-keying and repair. Would not hesitate to call Andrei again. read more

1 point just now The key fob on my 2019 Toyota Prius stopped working. The dealer quoted me a very high amount to get it reprogrammed and fixed. I called secure locks and they showed up within 2 hours and programmed a new used key fob to my car and it's as good as new. The service was quick, professional and smooth.
