Car Keys Pro - Everytime I come here during business hours it's closed or they don't answer the door. - Keys & Locksmiths Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Awesome service from the company and Isaiah. Key went bad and I needed car asap. They responded right away. New key and everything! Highly recommend! read more

Lots of back and forth and changing prices after they'd already given me a quote, and times he was going to arrive kept changing. All that was very frustrating. The last I heard from the tech (after many additional conversations this morning) was that their truck was "messed up" and he had to wait to get a different truck. But that he'd call as soon as he got on the way. That was the last I've heard....five hours ago. I would not waste time here. Found another responsive and reliable place nearby. read more

Amazing service! My kids locked the keys in the car with it running! We called and they came out within 30 minutes!! So easy, so helpful!!

Great experience! Isiah was extremely helpful in setting up our appointment and tending to our needs in a courteous, professional and efficient manner. The key programming and cutting process was smooth and successful and the facility is well organized and spotless. They also provide fresh coffee and cold refreshments in the spotless waiting room. Tremendous Value - The key from Car Keys Pro cost 1/3 the price that the local Jeep dealership quoted. This was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. i highly recommend this company and I would not hesitate to use and recommend them in the future. read more

I was shopping around for a company who can reprogram Maserati keys. I called a few around the area and Car Key Pro was the only one who provided me with a straightforward pricing and worked with my schedule. Some company discouraged me from using after market key companies since it could mess up my car computer system. I went to a Maserati dealership and was quoted $1350 for one key, they also attempted but could not reprogram my old key. I took a leap of faith and scheduled CKP to help me out. Oscar arrived on time, was very courteous and professional. He showed me a brand new sealed OEM key, he explained what he was doing. He even diagnosed why the dealership cannot reprogram my old key = Dead battery. Oscar was able to program a brand new key, reprogram my own key i got from Ebay and cut back up metal keys for half the price of what the dealership would have charged me. Oscar even came back to trouble shoot and explain why the remote start button wasn't working when i was using it. All key functions are perfectly working and i am extremely happy with Car Key Pro read more

The good thing about the business is they do the job at a affordable price and they are quick. The bad thing is that it took them 30 minutes to figure out the way to program the key, plus he had no knowledge of where to put the key to program it on a mustang. He even made a comment of "your car is old" read more

These guys are lifesavers! I lost the only key to my Jaguar, and they cut me two new keys for $350. The Jaguar dealer wanted $500-$1300 per key. Unfortunately, they were unable to program the fob, but they warned me that might happen, and would be more likely due to the fobs we ordered than their ability to program them. Do not hesitate to call this business, they really are pros at what they do! read more

The only company that would actually give me a straight price and quick on site time even tossed in a nice! discount for the purchase of two keys saved me a lot of money and headache read more

Just wow. My friend was in a bind after losing her only car key. Joe from Car Keys Pro called us back within minutes to assess the situation and he arrived to meet us very quickly. He provided a thorough explanation of the process and expectations before finishing the work. We are extremely pleased with the fast, friendly and professional service that we received for a better price than the others we called, all who quotes higher prices and several hours of wait time. A day saver! read more

Oh boy, Car Keys not Professional! I'll try and make this brief, but it probably won't be. You call the number on Google (as I did) and the person who asnwers gets your contact info and tells you a tech will call you back. I don't do aftermarket anything on my car and was assured it was in fact the exact key for my car. Trunk didnt open after paying for "new" key, key inside key fob was blank and now explains why it didn't work once rec'vd new key, doors don't lock/unlock properly, keyfob keys jammed or doesn't turn and it can take up to a handful of minutes until it works, and the owner, he's not very professional, argumentative, and feels my dealership is wrong with the proof I've sent him. Owner refused to give me his name and I can see why. Just go to your dealership and save yourself the trouble. read more

Great job. In and out in the quoted time at the quoted price. Would use again. Thanks. read more

these guys were amazing! punctual, great communicators, diligent (staying after job is done to make sure all keys worked for me), and their price was fair (often better than competitors that I looked up). I cannot say enough good things! I was in a bad situation with losing both keys and they helped me all the way through. Mind you I did schedule ahead instead of emergency call BUT if you can do that instead of immediate help you will find these guys to be top notch. I'd call them and plan on calling them for any and everything key/lock related! read more

Great, fast service, very courteous and professional. Much less expensive for our car than going to the dealer. The technician came out promptly and made a key & fob copy from our last set in about 15 minutes, they worked perfectly the first time. Thanks!! read more

I don't know where to start with how bad the service was the first guy was 2 hours late so I called him. He tells me he is in traffic to wait longer. I told him I can't wait I have to go be somewhere. The next day the other guy they send shows up an hour and a half late, but I waited because I needed 2 keys made. They quoted me 240 over the phone after I gave them my Vin make and model. Yet the guy says it's going to be a little but more. I'm at work so I'm like ok no big deal it can't be much more, I told him call me when your done. He calls me telling me my truck is done. He shows me it starts the truck but at this point I notice he gave me some cheap key without the lock or unlock buttons in it and told him that's not the right key. He told me it's all he had. But I'm like we'll I guess it's done nothing I can do as long as it works. Than he tells me it's 681 dollars that's way more than they quoted me but it was done so I had to pay it if I wanted to drive home that day. As I'm leaving work I notice I have a light on my dash that says start system issue key not recognized I call the guy to come back but now answer so I messaged him he was messaging me before he showed up. I told him the issues and my truck won't go over 15mph it's in a limp mode. Now I have to call a friend to get a ride home. I ended up having to tow it to ford to get the exact same job done they only charged me 150 and the truck works fine now. I would not recommend using these scammers. read more

My service technician (Adam) was wonderful. He contacted me to let me know the amount of time it would take to get to me, again to update me with an ETA, and then we set about replacing my lost Nissan Altima Key Fob. He knew exactly what he was doing, quickly opening up the car and programming the new remote key to the car system. I called and emailed at least 12 different automotive locksmiths in Chicago and they were the second lowest in cost, but the other low quoting locksmith didn't get back to me for almost 18 hours! These guys were honest about the costs of the entire thing, no scams, and the cost covered coming to me, opening the car, providing a new car key fob, and programming it to my system. As good as it gets. read more

Loosing a FOB is expensive. Dealers charge are crazy. These carketyPRO guys are really nice, super competent and are close to half dealer cost. I recommend them highy. We had a terrific experience, getting our Highlander back working with two FOBs and an emergency key cut for the programmed replacement FOB. All were new and work fine. read more

Just about the best possible experience you could ask for in getting a duplicate key made. My vehicle is particularly notorious for requiring specialized equipment in order to get additional keys made (2011 Range Rover), and Yanir was able to get it done in about 10 minutes flat. Everything went smooth in this - fast replies to messaging, convenient timeslots to meet up, and the process itself was quick with no surprises. Pricing was very reasonable as well compared to what the dealer was asking. Would 100% recommend Yanir and Car Keys Pro. read more

Ryan was the technician who reached out after I contacted the company. He was able to make it over in 45 minutes although it was not an emergency. He was professional yet personable and programmed the new fob for our keyless car in about 15 minutes. Absolutely great customer service! From the moment I called and spoke with mike (the dispatcher) I received great communication and the mmmm was called back right away! The locksmith was named Yanir and he was EXCELLENT! Very professional and he was on time! I was so worried I wouldn't get a new key fob because all 6 of the other companies I called either couldn't do it or were rude! He did it quick and with pleasure! Thanks Yanir! read more

I called the guy, we set the day and time, we made the deal and agreed to an specific price, the technician showed up with incomplete documents, even he did not have his valid driving license. So, the impound staff didn't allow him to go inside the Pound (he was supposed to go to pound to make the duplicate key for my car). He made me to bring my car outside the pound to pay extra $ to the tow truck. Why he did not bring the proper and valid documents in the first place, so he left me there stranded and helpless. And never picked up my call, so it was last day to release the car so i had to pay a-lot more money to tow my car to my location. It was very unprofessional behaviour from a guy who has many positive feedback. read more

I lost the key fob for my 2010 Toyota Prius. After getting quotes from dealers ranging from $400-$700 (not including a tow job to the site), I submitted a request on a Thursday night to a referral service. Early Friday morning, I received a call from Corey of Car Keys Pro. He was able to fit me in, en route to another appointment. He showed up promptly at my residence, explained everything clearly, and got the job done in 15-20 minutes. I was charged considerably less than the dealer quotes. Corey took a situation that was causing some stress/anxiety, and made it as effortless and easy as possible for me. My highest recommendation. read more
