I believe we still had a minute or two before our appointment time so next time I'd appreciate it if we weren't rushed to our seats when choosing a color. Upon arrival I questioned leaving and by the time I sat down for a pedicure I knew I should just left and opted out of the following manicure before they started. I understand language barriers can be common at nail salons but these ladies literally kept getting annoyed when I showed them pictures or asked for a color. I just wanted a soft pink almost sheer like, and it's not like they had their polishes out for us to pick out. It was from a silly book which the colors they brought out didn't even match. The pricing also seems inconsistent with their site which could be considered false advertising and legally misleading. Although, not my biggest complaint here. The lack of effort on basic polish application is what is so upsetting, especially if you're paying average prices. So glad I didn't let them do gel on my pedicure, considering I had to remove the polish from my pedicure and the gel manicure (so regretting letting them finish my gel manicure, should've stopped midway). I decided to stop here since it was closer for me but I certainly regretting not just driving out to Infinity in Federal Way.... Ultimately save your money, go elsewhere like Lotus or Infinity Nail bar, at least those places can apply even coats of polish and top coat and you aren't in the position of needing to remove it and do it yourself. I don't leave negative reviews often but I spent over $120 to just remove and do my own nails at home. The first time I just got a haircut, and it was exactly what I was looking for--quick, thorough, and a great cut. My hair was fried and dyed and I needed to get rid of those disaster dead ends. I showed him a couple examples and asked for his professional input based on how I style and my daily routine. I went back to Kee for a partial balayage after we had talked about it real briefly during my first appointment. We had a good consultation beforehand, and he took the time to understand exactly the look I wanted, explain the process, and set realistic expectations. He's friendly, easy to talk to, and knows his craft. I love how the color turned out--natural, blended, and exactly what I had in mind. Definitely recommend Kee.

Thinking she was going to get it on her way in to make up for being over a half hour late I said yes. That was the wrong choice. The stylist ordered it but asked me to go pick it up across the street. First of all I had never met this woman before in my life. It just felt oddly unprofessional. When she came in she was clearly running late because of a late night and hungover as she discussed her night with her coworkers. It's an open salon, everybody can hear your conversations. The second time, I gave another try because my hair did look good & perhaps it was an off day that first time. This time though, I noticed my hair didn't look as great as the first time and it felt rushed. Tried a new stylist for the third time and she got bleach on the back of my shirt but didn't tell me, found out when I got home. I wish she just mentioned it at least.

Disgusting Hygiene: The technician shook out a dirty towel right in front of me and used that same towel--covered in nail dust--to wipe my hands with just a bit of water. It was incredibly unsanitary. 2. Rude Service: There was no verbal communication at all. No "left hand" or "right hand" please. She just grabbed and pulled my hands around with body language, treating me like I was a pet. 3. Poor Quality: If you're having a bad day, don't take it out on paying customers. The skill level is just as bad as the attitude. My nails are ruined, and my mood is even worse. A total waste of money. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else.

The first pedicure I had here, in the summer of…read more2021, was really not good - the technician spent almost no time tidying up my feet, and then my polished toenails ended up being really bumpy instead of cute shiny candy chiclets. I didn't come back for over a year. Then a friend recommended a specific pedicurist, whom I've been going to. Each time, she's been very good and my feet have looked nice, with symmetric, well polished nails. Given that good experience, I invited a friend to the spa with me and we both had pedicures, but my favorite person was busy that day. And that time the pedicure also looked good, but the person that worked on me used the metal cuticle scraper to flatten out my toenails and they don't look so good now without polish and I have to wait for them to grow out to get them painted again. I really love that there's a nail salon here with wonderful manicurists and pedicurists - I'm so grateful for their services - but maybe they could work together to be a little more consistent in what a pedicure should be?

Social distancing wasn't a concern for me since there was only one other customer while I was there, but everyone wore masks and there were plastic dividers between the chairs in case of more people. One downside to this salon is that it's in a weird dead zone so there's no cell service. You might be able to connect to another neighboring business's wifi but be prepared to not have your phone available. I got a shellac pedicure and the nail technician was very thorough in making sure my nails were filed and shaped evenly (after I had cut them myself unevenly). She was also thorough at filing and removing any dead skin from my heels, which I appreciated because sometimes nail technicians will barely scrub your feet. Overall I'm really pleased with the pedicure I got and will definitely keep this place in mind in the future!
