2 stars only for the aesthetic of acrylic nails. They looked beautiful but once off, which they didn't last longer than 2 weeks, the nail damage was evident. I am happy I took them off when I did because the damage could have been worse. I have experience in the nail service with over 15 years as a client. I rather go back to the nail place in Kent even if I have to drive 30 minutes from where I live in West Seattle. More so I decided to go to Nail art by Anna because of the accessibility but I am disappointed. I'm not one to review but this is unacceptable and others should be made aware. I can't speak for this place on how well they do nails, but do NOT go here if you're looking for a haircut. I went in Friday for one, and I've never had a worse cut in my life. First off, I asked for around 2-3 inches off so just a trim, even showed her on my hair how much I wanted off, and she took off over 6 inches. I didn't even have time to say anything as she just jumped right in and the entire haircut lasted only around 5 minutes. She didn't wash or even wet my hair before starting, just cut it dry, barely brushed it, and I had asked for layers and she was just chopping all over the place. Once I left I asked some friends their opinions and one of my friends said it looked like a 3 year old went at it with a pair of scissors. I had to go that same evening to a family friend who used to be a hairdresser to have her fix it up for me because I couldn't even be in public like that. They weren't very friendly, didn't speak to me much, and charged me $40 for literally ruining my hair. The pictures don't even do justice for how bad it was. Spare yourself and go to a hairdresser that cares about you and wants your hair to turn out nice, because this was pretty devastating for me read more

I went to get my hair cut at b's full salon in W.Seattle, because my hair was very tangled up after the pandemic I went thru a lot of depression but finally got the nerves to go get my hair cut but was not greeted very friendly. they didn't want to cut my hair and I was offended. my hair was washed and clean but they said they didn't think I'd be happy. I felt like they discriminated against me because of my age and because I had some bald spots in the top of my head. I used to go there all the time to get my eyebrows waxed prior pandemic and they were nice so not sure what happened to them. This was terrible. I came in to simply get my shellac/gel nail polish removed. Usually at places they will soak your nails in acetone nail polish remover then wipe off the polish. When I sat down the woman pulled out one of the electric nail files that they use to remove acrylic nails. I told the woman that my nails were not acrylic and they were my natural nails but she still used the electric file. I assumed it was a quicker way to remove the shellac. While she filed my nail she nicked the side of my nails multiple times and actually made me bleed. It hurt really bad because she kept filing the skin around my nails and still didn't even get some of the gel off. She filed off some of my natural nail which hurt and now they are extremely thin and weak, they literally bend. I am extremely angry with the service I received and will never go back. read more

In need of a pedi this weekend, I didn't want to drive all the way down to NK Nails. I also feel like a traitor when I go to Regina's these days because I've been cheating on them. Out of the two places in the Admiral Junction, and circling the block for parking, I chose this one. I was able to get a seat right away and it started out promising. They definitely don't have the magazine selection that I look forward to, so I fiddled with my phone the entire time. It's always a little disconcerting when the person wears rubber gloves during the whole process. Not a very touchy-feely leg massage. I guess it has to do with their hands being in water and touching chemicals all day long. When she started nipping at my cuticles, she started cutting the sides of my nails. I definitely don't like that, but she insisted. I have a feeling that the reason why our big toe nails dig in to the tops of our toes is because of this habit... Fairly decent heel scrub and calf rubdown with the granular skin stuff. After you're rinsed off, they spray some kind of oil on your feet and calves and give you another massage. Nothing to complain about on the paint job, then you sit with your feet under a fan. When it came time to pay, both women were busy with either a haircut or pedi so another lady who had been in with her kid, rang up the sale. Seemed like there were a lot of regulars coming in, but I don't see myself being one of them. read more

It had been a really long time since my hair was trimmed and I was starting to look like Elvis, which is just not a good look for me. After having a really bad experience at another local salon and a so so experience with another, I wasn't thrilled about going to yet another new place. But, it was 6 pm, most other salons were closed and... I needed to get my hair cut. It was beyond the point of being critical. I noticed this salon on the way home and, as I had few other options, this was it. I walked in without an appointment and was immediately greeted, seated and the stylist and I discussed what I wanted. She knew EXACTLY what I was talking about, we totally understood each other and she got to work. And she was so friendly too. My hair is exactly what I wanted and she did a great job, not only on the foundation of the cut, but also the little details that turn a good cut into a great one. She really took the time to make sure that everything was perfect. I couldn't have asked for anything better and was really impressed. Who knew that such a great place existed, so close to home and is so reasonably priced. Now that I don't dread getting my hair cut, I will never look like Elvis again. Edited to add: I'm a cancer survivor that's 5 months out of treatment. Prior to chemotherapy, I had mega long hair, so a short style isn't my cup of tea. I just shampooed my hair (didn't get a shampoo with the cut, as I had grays to touch up,) and I LIKE this style. It's cute, it's feminine and it's 100% wash and wear. I want to go back and give my stylist a hug. This is the first time I've liked my hair since 2011. read more

Three of us went there for pedis. Two of us experienced pain and blood loss. I was the lucky one. I got the gentle lady. We felt rushed. The two women working there seemed to hate each other. It was not a great experience. Oh, yeah, plus it was $25 bucks for a pedicure-the most money I've spent on a pedi in West Seattle so far. We will not be going back. read more

This is why I don't use Yelp for my decision making process .Bitter people write bitter reviews with over stated hyperbole in order to make an argument that is probably not valid in the first place. I've been going to B Full for several years and have always been taken care of. I have weird hair patterns that most discount stylists can't seem to figure out; however, at B Full I've have had consistently good hair cuts. I also have had a chronic ingrown toe nail for 25 years. The pedicures I get at B Full are consistently well done and sanitary. I have doubts about the previous reviews on this site regarding B Full's sanitary conditions. Both women are good mothers who know how to take care their families and their customers. read more

So I made an appointment for two mani-pedis for my friend and I. What I wound up wanting went from a $32 purchase to a $50 purchase. Not a big deal for me, as I wanted acrylics, but only one of the girls there knew how to do them. My friend wanted to get her hair done as well. All she needed were her split ends trimmed. The hairdresser only did half the job, and trimmed her bangs, which she asked her not to do. But the damage was already done. Next time, I'm going to Head to Toe or Shanti. I'd pay double for a job that was actually done right. read more
