The painkiller is an event, lol

I was shocked to see this has a 3 star overall rating. I was alone and felt like a princess, I was treated so well. I was sooo hungry, I ordered an app, an entree and a dessert to go! The chicken fried steak took up over half the plate, needless to say, I couldn't eat it all. All the food was incredible and I really went overboard and ordered Painkiller cocktail. They are crazy large and it took me about an hour to drink it. I had the big slice of carrot cake later that night, it was incredible! If you have never tried a Cheddar's, you are missing out!

Service was great at Cheddars today. The wait wasn't long and the food was delicious. Our sever was very attentive, and super cool, she even brought us some fresh out the oven croissants. Our drinks were delicious, of course I had a 'painkiller'... I need to start trying some of Cheddar's other drinks, but they make this one so perfect, it's always a treat. I ordered the blackened salmon for dinner. It was cooked perfectly, paired it with mashed potatoes and broccoli casserole, yum.

Cheddars's was the perfect first stop during my visit. It was conveniently located near my hotel. Upon arrival, I sat at the bar. Few minutes later I was greeted by the server. The area was crowded, so I was not too upset about the wait time. I ordered a cocktail and appetizer for a starter. The caesar salad and croissant were the first to arrive. The salad was well dressed and fresh. The croissant was tasty but did not live up to the hype. For my entree, I ordered the key west chicken and shrimp. It was served over rice with a side of broccoli casserole. The chicken, shrimp, and rice were delicious. The food was hot and nice portion. However, the broccoli casserole was disgusting. The breadcrumbs had an unpleasant texture and taste. I did not enjoy. As stated before, I ordered an appetizer. But the appetizer never was delivered. The server canceled the appetizer order to correct the issue. Overall, my visit here was good.

Cheddar's is always a nice go to for a quick and inexpensive lunch / dinner. During my last visit the service was amazing, but the portions were not like usual. I usually get the chicken tender salad and the tenders were very small almost like they should have been on the kids menu and the actual salad portion was minimal. I usually have leftovers for up to 2 days and during this visit I actually ate it all in 1 setting. Not sure if they are cutting back because of cost or what, but the friend I was dining with felt the same about her Caesar salad pasta. Drinks were delicious as usual, but not as strong as they have been.

With it being a busy Friday night Cheddars were able to get me and my group in with no problem. It's been a while since I've been and forgot how good the rolls are. The spinach dip wasn't a fave and prob because it was cold. Other than that we had good service.

This was my first experience at the cheddars in Pooler. It was a fantastic experience. Let's start with our server, a beautiful girl names, Deasha. She was so attentive to our needs. She was extremely patient and kind. She recommended the whitefish to me. I followed her recommendation and it was a very tasty meal. I really enjoyed the fish. The restaurant was lively and fun. It was a good value for the cost. I would definitely return and May start to look for other cheddars restaurants.

I enjoyed my experience at this location! We were seated right away and it was not too busy during lunch time. Our waitress was kind and attentive. She brought out these amazing rolls! We all ordered salads and I ordered the crispy chicken tender salad with honey mustard dressing and I asked for the chicken to be grilled. The salad was delicious! Everything was fresh and the chicken was seasoned well. I would love to come back for dinner!

We stopped here after playing a little mini-golf while on our epic road trip. We arrived a little after 6:30 on a Thursday night. The hostess told us it would be a little bit of a wait, which was super weird because the place had SO many empty tables (however, there was someone "famous" (locally "famous", anyway) in the restaurant)... perhaps that is why we had such a long wait. The area we sat in was chaotic but our server was outstanding. It was loud but super clean. There were six of us; four adults and two teens. We started with the famous croissants... I am not a butter fan so I was a bit "meh" about them but the rest of the group loved them. The table started out with the spinach dip. I didn't try it but it was devoured. I ordered the potato soup and a side of fries. My soup was thick and yummy and the fries were okay. My husband ordered the Smokehouse Burger. He enjoyed it. My son ordered the chicken sandwich and said it was pretty darn good. He finished it all, and that is a good sign. My daughter ordered a burger and she said it was pretty okay. Our friends had a salad and the chicken fried steak. The chicken fried steak was heavy and the next day, our friend didn't feel well all day. He isn't sure if it was his dinner or not, but he was definitely under the weather. We don't live near a Cheddar's but I think if we did, we might give it another try.

Looking back, we probably should've kept right on walking. We ordered the fried chicken, potato wedges, red rice, New Orleans rice, and cabbage, jalapeno cornbread and pecan cornbread. Unfortunately, the only things we actually enjoyed were the fried chicken and the potato wedges. Once again, it was an epic fail. The cabbage tasted like it had been boiled in plain water with absolutely no seasoning. Both the red rice and the New Orleans rice reminded us of Minute Rice or Uncle Ben's microwavable rice--bland, lacking flavor, and nothing like the rich, seasoned rice dishes we were expecting. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and well-seasoned, and the potato wedges were cooked perfectly, but those two items weren't enough to save the meal. We came hoping for authentic Southern comfort food, but left disappointed. Sadly, this is one restaurant we won't be adding to our list of places to revisit.

That search led me to The Olde Pink House--a magnificent historic mansion dating back to 1771, now home to one of Savannah's most memorable restaurants. The décor is beautiful, with antique furnishings, fireplaces, elegant woodwork, chandeliers, and enough historical character to make any ghost hunter feel immediately at home. The building is surprisingly large, with numerous dining rooms, each decorated and arranged differently. Exploring it feels almost like wandering through a well-preserved haunted mansion--though thankfully, the staff were much friendlier than the ghosts I had recently captured. The food was excellent, and everyone in our party enjoyed what they ordered. I'm not usually much of a beer drinker, but I tried the Hostess City, a craft beer brewed exclusively for The Olde Pink House, and was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. Our server was wonderful, and we were even able to exchange ghost stories with them. We all had a good laugh, although I'm fairly certain one of the portraits nearby was laughing along with us. We arrived dressed entirely in black, and not a single person batted an eye. In Savannah, this is apparently considered perfectly respectable evening attire--or perhaps everyone simply assumed we were attending a funeral for one of the restless dead. After dinner, we asked whether we could explore the other sections of the restaurant, and we were told it would be no problem. We were able to visit the different dining rooms and examine the antiques and objects respectfully without disturbing the other guests. Be sure to visit the bar downstairs, Planters Tavern. It has a wonderfully haunted atmosphere, with brick walls, old-world décor, and a beautiful fireplace that must be especially inviting during the winter months. The basement's fireplaces were reportedly part of the home's original kitchen, which only adds to the feeling that the room remembers far more than it lets on. The Olde Pink House offers excellent food, beautiful surroundings, friendly service, and just enough supernatural atmosphere to keep a ghost hunter interested. I arrived looking for somewhere to recover from the night's haunting. I left well fed, pleasantly spirits-laden, and only mildly concerned that one of the ghosts may have followed me home.

Being a barbecue place and proud of their brisket I went with the two meat combo, including brisket and pulled chicken. By recommendation of our server, she suggested we go with the marble brisket, and I must say that selection was outstanding. Arguably the best brisket I've ever had, and I've had and a lot of it. It truly did melt in your mouth. Plenty of meat and plenty of flavor. Not to be out done, but the pulled chicken was also equally fabulous. Very moist very tasty. The meal kicked off with buttered biscuits. Those were outstanding. They'll also bring you more if you want. But watch it they're not exactly low-calorie.
