We visited Thursday December 27....this was my first time to any of your restaurants. My fiancé has often mentioned how much he loves dining here so I was really looking forward to our meal. We noticed you were busy so we decided to take a seat at the bar. The bar was overflowing with dirty glasses and overall complete disorganization. The bartender asked if we wanted a drink and I asked what sweetwater beer was on tap he said he didn't know. There were 5-6 taps so I was surprised by this. After the bartender never came back we got up and decided to wait for a table. We sat at the table for about 15 Minutes before I tracked down a busser to ask where our server was. Our server got our drink and appetizer order. We ordered two rum and diet cokes and two shots. She brought over 4 shots with no coke or ice. We also ordered water. The drinks took about 15 Minutes but the limes and lemons that were supposed to be on the drinks took an additional 10 min. The appetizer we ordered was the queso dip. The dip was good but the chips were not very chip -like. They were kind of chewy but also hard but wouldn't break when you bit them...we each ordered salads we never got. Our entrees came out with the wrong sides. I got the sirloin and grilled shrimp which wasn't bad- the side of broccoli was way over cooked. My fiancé got the salmon which he didn't eat at all. I ordered the same drink again and I was brought rum and coke in a tiny glass. How could a server AND bartender not know what glass to put a rum and coke in and that it should be over ice!!?? We spoke to a manager who apologized but didn't give much of an explanation other than that they were busy... the server had already told us they are that busy every Thursday so I don't know why they weren't prepared...The manager paid for our food thankfully because we didn't receive or eat most of it. We were still respond for paying for our drinks... I think they were very busy and overwhelmed but the lack of knowledge about basic restaurant concepts was alarming. read more

Got seated right away, then sat for about 7 minutes while waiting for the waitress to show up. Maybe she was on break, restaurant wasn't that busy but 2 other tables were seated, ordered drinks and meals before I got a menu. When I did get my meal it was cold, not much on taste. Ordered the steak and shrimp combo. I didn't go back any of the time I was in the area. I can not recommend this restaurant. read more

This was the third time we've given this place a chance over a period of about seven years. Nothing has changed. The food is decent and worth the money, but the service is so unbelievably slow. We sat around with our drinks not wanting to have any because the server didn't give us straws and disappeared. Turns out the straws were hidden inside the rolled up napkins. The other issue was the barrage of flies that wouldn't leave us alone. Hang some fly paper in the kitchen! read more

We got seated right away ordered drinks which we got without straws it tokk 10 more minutes for the straws to arrive which I had to remind the server. It took over an hour for the food to get to our table. We arrived at 4:45 and the meal came out around 5:50. We had to inquire 2x where our food was. Our server told us the kitchen was behind. We noticed people who came after us got served and left before us. The food was decent but I won't be returning. read more

Our server's name was Jarrad and he was the most personable server we have had in a long time. We were very impressed with this place. My husband had a rack of ribs (recommended by people we sat near) and I had a steak. The steak has no fat, was cooked perfectly and wonderful flavor. I also had a baked potato (um-no) and broccoli and cheese casserole (yum). Bit of a wait for food but we had a croissant which is so good that it was like dessert first. Cheddars has really built up the menu since the last time I went which is a plus more diverse and more options. For how busy they get you would think they would have more servers and support staff. Everyone is rushing around and they are constantly forgetting something when you ask them to help complete a meal or they forget to bring sides. The servers are not around often to check in on you but the lack of service makes up for the fresh hot food. When going with 2 of my friends for a night out we waited 10 minutes to be seated ( which wasn't bad being a Saturday night) but then waited 50 minutes for food and they forgot some parts to my friends meal. We didn't bother asking for them because our server was nowhere to be found. By the time he came we were just ready to go. Hopefully they will add more staff to this location so they can improve customer service wise. read more

I had dinner at cheddars in Pooler I ordered a tall Bud light draft I receive a regular new big deal I ordered the chicken breast dinner after a very long wait it was brought through to the table I started to eat and realized it was cold I told the hostess and she said she would make me a new dinner she returned with the new one and it was hot I asked the waitress about the first one and she said that she had to wait in line to get my dinner that's why it was cold theycomped my dinner but for the next thee days I needed to stay near a bath room I continue to think about sending back food as the old saying goes read more

Great meal before I flew back to Boston from Savannah. Our server Jarrodd(?) was one of the best servers I have ever had. If just for him I would give five stars. 1. We waited an hour for a simple order on a not-terribly-busy Sunday night. We were never offered bread, extra water, or anything, though the server was pleasant enough when she was around. 2. When the order arrived, the fries and pasta were dried up and cold, and clearly from the bottom of their respective containers. In addition, my wife's sandwich was supposed to have bacon and tomato, and did, after a fashion: one beaten slice off the bottom of an old tomato, and one half of a piece of weathered, limp bacon. 3. The manager came to our table promptly when we inquired, and was properly sympathetic, and had my wife's sandwich and fries remade (with good results). He did not offer to comp any of our food. The server did remove the sandwich from our bill. 4. I have family who frequent Cheddar's, and they swear that it's not usually like that, anywhere else they've been. It's not fine dining, but for the price it's a great value. Usually pretty crowded. Portions are HUGE. Love the honey croissants.

So far I have tried the grilled tilapia with mango salsa which was good, wish it had more of the mango salsa, the fish tacos were very good the cajun tartar sauce makes them taste even better, the full rack of ribs were good as well. I did not enjoy their sides very much though. The corn is just canned corn, the mashed potatoes had chunks of potatoes in it. The atmosphere is nice and their building looks really nice as well. Prices are good just wish their sides were better quality. read more

First time visitor and the location was across from our hotel. Our overall experience was fine. The service was excellent. The value was outstanding. We got a lot of food for a very minimal price. When you live in the NYC area you usually file for Chapter 11 after a meal like this. We had the side salads to start which were big and seasoned just right with the balsamic vinegar. We had the burger with cheddar cheese and onions and a side of mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes had to much of a buttery taste. We also had the Napa Ciabatti. Tasty and satisfying. We also had a full rack of baby back ribs with steamed broccoli and baby carrots. The ribs fell off the bone but were very dry. They could have used more BBQ sauce. The carrots were canned but the broccoli was fresh. All that food for $34 before tip. I feel bad writing some negative comments. read more

Was great for the first year and a half this location was open and then went to crap. Portion sizes inexplicable and drastically decreased (food quality also was noticeably less/ undercooked chicken became almost expected), service took a serious nosedive (45 minute was the least any size party could expect to wait for their order on a slow night), waiters became clearly inconvenienced by the request of any service at their tables (I would patiently give them the benefit of the doubt and they'd still let me spend more than an hour with an empty glass while waiting for the meal) and even upper management seemed annoyed by the very presence of customers. They had a huge overhaul about a year and a half ago now, so I thought, "You know what? It's been a while. They could probably stand a second chance. I'll order online and pick it up while I'm out." I tried three times tonight at separate times to place an order and after entering my payment information was presented with error messages saying that their online service wasn't working properly and to try again later or call in the order. I tried y'all. It was good food at one point. The initial experiences are the only reason I bothered with a second star and in the vain hope that someone with more patience than myself finds it to be returned to its former glory. Great restaurant, great location for dinner and a movie! They are always packed but strangely didn't wait more than 15-20 minutes (enough to go to the bar order drinks and sit outside for a few minutes) and food was served pretty quickly too! Great service, great pricing on food and alcohol, big portion size (so I normally split a meal with someone). read more

Good quality solid menu. I'm 6'5" 260 and enjoy pasta so I ordered the "spasagna". I kid you not, I ate a little more than half and was way satisfied. This is more than 2 big servings EASY. Salad was great, bread great, and nice people to boot. read more

After a long drive we gave Cheddar's a try since it was close to our hotel. When we arrived I feared a long wait since the lot was packed. This would have been a problem since we needed to feed two very hungry young kids. Surprisingly the wait was about 15 minutes, accurately predicted by the hustling hostess crew. The restaurant was very crowded but the hustling wait staff handled it well. I can't say the food arrived quickly but it wasn't so long that we were frustrated. We had gotten some buns to take the edge off so the kids were OK. The food was good all around. As referenced elsewhere the chicken pot pie was pretty good. read more

Cheddars is a good place to go with a large group. They have a really diverse menu with something for everyone to like. They also have great drinks and a relaxing atmosphere. I would recommend the grown up grilled cheese or shepherds pie. I wasnt a big fan of the new orleans pasta. read more

Went here on a Friday night at 8:30 pm. The wait was 30 min which is fine on a weekend. After getting sat we ordered almost immediately. After about 30 mins the waiter said yalls food is next and should be out shortly. 15 more mins and he returns to the table to let us know 20 more mins for our food. Almost an hour is ridiculous for wait times. Been to many cheddars but the service is not good at this one. Beware. read more

Cheddar's was the best! We were visiting from out of town. We stayed at one of the hotels nearby and the person who shuttled us to dinner recommended Cheddar's. I've been twice and both times things just didn't go as expected. This last time was not acceptable. Although my date and I were seated and waiting for a server to great us, he went to a table that had come in after us. Ordered drinks. Also asked for iced tea and water with lemon. Had to ask again for lemons. The server asked if we wanted the croissants and we said yes. Time passed and I asked about the croissants and he ran to the kitchen. Returned shortly to let us know there were none left. Asked if we wanted ice cream. Meal was fair but service not so great. Checked arrived with the suggested tip ranging from 18-22%. Sorry. A group of four of us went today about 3pm. The restaurant was not even half full yet we had a 30 minute wait. Once seated, the service was terrible. The waitress told my husband she wasn't sure which tea was sweet vs. unsweetened. He replied it was important because his mother is diabetic. She then asked him (in a sarcastic way), are you diabetic too? He replied no. She said well you can taste test it then. Service went downhill from there. The food was ok but incomplete and slightly cold. Will not be going back. This used to be our favorite restaurant but the service has been terrible for a while. Low prices but Awesome food and LARGE portions... you def get more then your money's worth!

I love this place. Everything I tried so far is delicious. Price is fantastic, portions are generous. Waiters and waitresses are friendly. Close to a movie theather, bowling alley, and Wal-Mart is across the street. The only negative thing is the restaurant is constantly busy with a packed parking lot and wait for seating and food. You have to try to go during an off time of lunch or dinner to not wait for a long time. I would and will return again. read more

I live down the street from Cheddar's, so we eat there frequently. We had one in my old hometown, so I already knew what to expect. There are some things on the menu that are fabulous, but there are some things I'd stay away from. I definitely recommend the baked spasagna with meat sauce, and if you order a side salad it comes with the most delicious croissant you've ever put in your mouth. read more

The only reason this place gets a 3-star rating is because there were very few options in surrounding areas. We were heading back to Florida from Asheville, NC and wanted to eat something somewhat close to the interstate that was not fast food. The restaurant was only a couple minutes out of the way. The service was friendly and the place was packed with locals on a Tuesday evening. We sat at the bar and the food came out quick. It was fair. We ordered house salads, soup and side vegetables (baked potato was firm and broccoli was limp - but both were edible). They have Tito's vodka, which made me happy (and it was cheap, relatively speaking). In any other circumstance this place would get a 2 star rating in my book, as it's bascially a glorified Bennigans or Ruby Tuesdays with a more local vibe. read more

Food is always good. Didn't care for the steak when they opened up. Tried twice and no bueno. Buffalo chicken wraps can be shared. Burgers are very satisfying. Chicken fettuccine is huge. I don't like to sit in the atrium. It is so loud because everyone tries to out talk the other tables and it turns to a roar. Never have to wait long even on Friday nights.
