We ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and shrimp. What I received was fat covered in barbecue sauce. Meat is not white and jelly like no matter how much barbecue sauce you add on top. This is almost $20 a plate. Disgusting!!! If you want meat instead of fat order from Swadleys or Chili's. Teach your people to choose better cuts of meat. Not fat!!! Welcome Cheddars in Oklamoma city! What a new addition to the Okc area. I've tried the cheddars in Norman but that was years ago. But today was the first time in years and I won't forget it this time. We went at 4:00 when it's not crazy busy. So no wait, got right in. Everything is new so it looks incredible with the fish tank, very nice. We got our table and the waitress brought out this croissant with a sweet butter drizzle. I could have eaten 50 of those, hot bread right out of the oven. Incredible. I had chicken and shrimp. The meats were cooked perfectly. And tasted superb. I tried their painkiller drink. That was incredible as well. The service was amazing, very attentive. Of course it was spotless. I'm handicapped so I appreciate the large parking spaces right out in the front, and they sat us close to the front so thank you for that. I can't say enough about this wonderful new restaurant. Lastly with how expensive everything is today, I was quite surprised at how reasonable the bill was and I had a drink! I'm definitely eating here again, very soon. The croissants are really good. I would recommend the broccoli casserole as a side I had the chicken fried steak. It was a little spicy for me, but if you like spice you would like it. The waitress was quick and had new drinks on our table before our other ones were finished. Is this a fancy meal joint? We were looking forward to trying Cheddars since I heard the one in Yukon was good. I was not impressed. The service was slow. The croissants they initially brought out were cold and just not good. My hamburger was decent but they tried to charge me extra for the French fries which were an included side. My daughter enjoyed her meal. Nothing special about Cheddars. read more

This place has gone down hill since their opening. The meal started with their croissants, they were all flat and flimsy. I ordered the Monty Cristo. It arrived at the table looking very dark, not only was it sprinkled in powdered sugar, as it should be. But, most of my fries were covered as well. When touching the MC with my finger tip, grease pulled around my finger. It not only looked like it had been fried in old grease, it tasted like it as well. My granddaughter's grilled cheese was even worse. She said the cheese looked like bubble gum. When I picked it up, it was hard as was hard as a rock. Looked and felt like an old sandwich that had been placed in the microwave. All of the fries were cool and flimsy, being fried in old grease. I am adding a star to my review because our waitress was attentive and took the horrible meals off of the tab. read more

Took the wife out on date night to try the new cheddars at quail springs mall on Oklahoma City. The experience was absolutely horrible. We ordered steaks and they were so tuff the wife left all of hers. We had ordered salads and they didn't bring them until the meals had already been delivered. We refused them at that point the potatoes were Luke warm. They even charge to add garlic butter to top the steak. Needless to say a very disappointing experience read more

Update - Just heard from corporate Cheddars, wont go back to the Memorial location, but will try Cheddars again. Won't ever go back. Made the mistake of going to Cheddars for Veterans Day. They give you free appetizer or dessert and 10% off your bill. A pretty good deal. Our server whispered, couldn't speak louder to save a life. Asked us if we wanted an appetizer or dessert. We asked if we ordered dessert can we take it to go. And was told "yes" so we decided on dessert. Then asked if we wanted it before our meal. No, we want to take it home. Then we ordered our meal, my husband ordered a salad. Asked if he wanted it before or with meal. He said before. Then we waited and waited. Couldn't catch her eye to ask where the salad was. Then she showed up with our meals. Hubs said where's my salad. She says oh? You wanted after after your meal. He says "No, before" she says oh oops. Want it now? He says no, we will take it to go. Then we get our check and notice there was only one dessert. We said to her - were both vets. She goes and gets somebody not a manager who says we'll there's only one one on the ticket and we took it off. We say we're both veterans, only one dessert for the table? This woman had no clue what to do. I will help Cheddar's - I'm sorry for the miscommunication and server not asking if there were 2 vets at the table, let me get you another dessert. NOPE. Trash. I worked 6 days this week. I wanted to relax and eat some good food. The server provided the worst service me and my fiancée have ever experienced. From the beginning, she gave us 1 minute to order, we weren't ready, then she waited 10 minutes to come back. Fast forward, my girl shouldn't feel like she's bothering her asking for a refill when her water was empty for 15 minutes. I took a piece of burnt grease out my mouth from the mashed potatoes. We had a negative experience on a previous visit and were contacted by Kaela from Guest relations. We had previously had a really good experience during our first visit to the location, so we were willing to give them another try. During our next trip to the location, we decided to sit in the bar area and our Waitress was Echo. Echo was excellent and attentive. The table and surrounding area was clean and well kept. Our food arrived as we had ordered and was excellent. The supportive staff around Echo were also very attentive. We never really had to ask for anything, but they did not hover. I have to say that it was an overall very positive experience and we will be dining there again. read more

Going there is a weekly event for us. It is a treat to ourselves. The food is always phenomenal, services always phenomenal and the atmosphere is great. Portion sizes are really good you actually get full and do not leave hungry. Tonight I had the t-bone steak and it was the best steak I've ever had from a restaurant. This was one of the most unusual experiences I've ever had in a restaurant. We had a large group that went in about an hour before closing. We ordered and it took until closing for our food to start coming out. Ours was cold, had obviously sat before being brought out but that wasn't the issue. One lady in our group after tasting her meal ran outside to her car to get her dietary salt and when she tried to come back in the doors were locked. We noticed the manager going to the door so assumed he was letting her back in but he didn't. We started to go let her in ourselves and that's when he told us she couldn't come back in because they were closed. Her meal and partner were both still in the restaurant but she wasn't allowed back in. The manager said he would lose his job if he let her in. Now if this is your policy then you should have someone at the door warning you of this situation at the very least. Needless to say it was the worst experience I've ever had in food service. Since this seems to be company policy I guess we'll eat elsewhere. read more

We asked for a refill of our waters and she acknowledged us then walked away. she then came back after several minutes later and then said again oh I will go get you two a refill. Quail Springs location waited 44 min to receive food. 2 of the 3 items ordered were terrible. Salmon burnt and hard as a rock. Crispy chicken tenders cold. Service slow. Watching servers all around were very slow and seemed disinterested. Manager offered to replace but told her we couldn't wait another 45 min for replacement. She made it right by not charging anything but she didn't seem to happy about any of it. Definitely wouldn't recommend this location to anyone. read more
