Updated review... Still things off about this Cheddar's.. Tay is amazing first of all! Thank you for being awesome. Weird visit in my perspective. We ordered. Things came out hot and fresh and originally on time. Mishap with the sides to our order. Weird that the manager Navy came out to retrieve the side dishes that were on the plate by mistake. Fries and green beans when we originally had ordered loaded baked potato and broccoli cheese casserole. Also weird. I go to bar on my way to bathroom to see what's on draft. Told my server I wanted the hazy IPA. She comes back to let me know they only have Bud light and blue Moon on tap.... Crazy thing is they have 4 tap handles... But only 2 beers on draft... I have worked in the industry previously... When we were out we removed tap handles and educated all staff of the being out. I guess I just wasn't ready for the experience. Having been to this Cheddar's multiple times... I have yet to have a normal and mistake free visit. I didn't know how else to share the amazing job Tay did. But the kitchen blemish and bar blemish has me wondering what's really going on at Cheddar's. Questions reach out ! Respectfully, Bryan

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and things went smoothly from the start. I did visit at the lunch time rush but we were seated right away. Our server DeeDee was quick to our table to take our drink orders. She started us out with croissants - they were just okay. If I were to make a recommendation it would be to add a small side of honey butter. I'm typically not a beverage drinker other than water but the Raspberry Lemonade really appealed to me. Once the drinks were delivered we opted for an appetizer and I chose the Cheddar's Trio Sampler. This consisted of four chicken tenders, Santa Fe Spinach dip, and salsa with house fried tortilla chips. We wanted to add the ground beef to the queso for free but our server said they didn't have it to add. I found that to be odd since they have it advertised for free on their menu. There were several options that caught my attention but I eventually opted for the Monte Cristo. It's been quite some time since I had that sandwich and the thought of that with the raspberry jelly definitely made me happy. It came with fries - which I usually select to have them well done. My wife & daughter choose the Classic Burger w/Fries which came out like just like they wanted them to! Overall it was a great meal and were pleasantly happy. DeeDee was there to guide me through the checkout process which turned out to be pretty easy. She provided us with To Go boxes and drinks! I would recommend giving this place a try

I ordered to-go. It took about 35 minutes for the food to come out. The ribeye was cold and not seasoned properly. I'm assuming it was cold because it was probably just sitting. Red beans and rice (chefs kiss). The croissant was probably one of my favorites in the world. The bar could've been a little bit cleaner than what it was. It was very sticky. I also don't like the idea of placing menus at every seat of the bar it looks kind of tacky.

This was the worst experience I've had in recent memory. In fact, I can't recall when I've been more disappointed. We went Saturday, June 15th at 1130am. We were seated and I noticed something on the table. It might have been cheese or something else but regardless the table was dirty, at least in one spot. The hostess kept placing our menus on the table and said she would bring me a napkin. And that's literally what she did. There was no apology, no let me get your table wiped down, nothing. She didn't care. We were seated in a booth near the kitchen. I could hear a manager talking very loudly to the staff about the portion size of something. He said it was a scoop and they were putting out portions that were too large. I don't care to know this information. Keep your voice down whoever you are. The waiter was a tall young man wearing a mask. Yes, I remember his name but I'm not going to put it here. I don't know if he was sick or didn't want to be there but he was rude, short, impatient, impolite and made snide comments. He wins the award for the worst waiter I've ever experienced. If I hadn't been there with my father and his wife I would've called for the manager, explained the situation and left. My father got meatloaf. The first dish was burned to a crisp. The replacement was better but it's not meatloaf. It's a smoky hamburger patty. Call it hamburger steak but don't sell it as meatloaf. We had to ask for dipping sauce three times before it appeared. I had the Key West shrimp and chicken. I have no idea how it gets this name. I thought it would have lime as a prominent ingredient and flavor but nope, that wasn't the case. The shrimp were delivered with the tail on so I got to handle hot and sauced shrimp before I could eat them. Why wasn't the tail removed? Warm croissant rolls were delivered to the table. They looked delicious but somehow the flavor had been removed. They were flaky and light and airy but had no taste. I don't even know how this is possible. I can't recommend this restaurant and can't imagine any scenario that gets me back through the door.

There are restaurants where you choose your meal, and there are restaurants where the meal chooses…read moreyou. Anton's Craft Kitchen is definitively, gloriously the latter. Anton, the owner, is on the floor, at your table, and invested in your experience in a way that most restaurant owners stopped being long ago. He will guide your order. He will override your instincts when they'd lead you somewhere less than extraordinary. And he does it out of genuine love for what his kitchen produces. We surrendered the menu. Let him choose for us. It was the best decision we made. THE FOOD The Chicken Parm is the dish the kitchen was built around -- hand-breaded chicken in Anton's creamy craft sauce that is rich, precise, and unlike anything you've had under that name before. The plate came back spotless. Not out of politeness. Because leaving anything behind would have been a mistake. The Green Olive is the sleeper hit -- sliced chicken, green olives, onions, and lemon garlic sauce that is warmer and more comforting than the name prepares you for. Savory, gently briny, deeply satisfying. Anton pairs dishes for couples deliberately, so the meals across the table match and complement each other. The contrast between the Chicken Parm and the Green Olive is not an accident -- it is a decision. You taste the difference between a restaurant that thinks about your entire experience and one that just takes your order. He loves your experience as much as his food. He stresses the food will change every meal because it is homemade, and it is. Wow. The Smoked Eggplant Spinach Dip opened the meal with real intention -- smoky, complex, four cheeses, served with garlic flatbread. You will want to lick the plate clean. The Fried Mozzarella is what fried mozzarella should always be and almost never is. The peach tea is exceptional in a way that a beverage has no right to be when the food is competing for your attention this hard. PEFECT! Make sure to ask for it in Anton's way. His way is better. DESSERT Every dessert is made in-house from scratch and you taste it immediately. The Bourbon Pecan Pie has actual bourbon in it -- present, warm, unapologetic -- woven into a filling that is rich without being cloying, with a deeply caramelized pecan top and whipped cream that is the only accompaniment it needs. Top shelf in every sense. The Cheesecake is the real thing. Dense, genuine, not artificially sweet -- a tall ivory slice on a proper graham crust with a strawberry drizzle that brightens without overwhelming. This is what cheesecake is supposed to be and rarely is anywhere else. Anton's Craft Kitchen is the rare restaurant that exceeds every expectation you didn't know you had. The food is cooked with care. The desserts are made with love you can actually taste. The experience from first bite to last is without a single complaint -- because there isn't one to make. Every plate came back spotless. We will be back and the hamburger is next on our hearts!

Pub W February 11, 2026…read more 5 stars Pub W has been a longtime favorite of ours, and this visit lived up to everything we've come to expect. We always enjoy the Liquid Marijuana -- it's a fantastic drink and one of our go-to favorites here. Consistently well made and always enjoyable. Lexi was our server, and it was her first night. She did an excellent job -- friendly, attentive, and handled everything smoothly. Food was excellent across the board. The Chicken Bruschetta was flavorful and well-prepared, paired nicely with green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, and sweet potato fries. The chicken tenders with squash puppies and fries were also a hit. Great food, great drinks, and great service. Pub W continues to be a reliable and enjoyable spot, and we'll absolutely be back. The ambiance is high end pub meets Ireland. I've always loved their green flare.

The employees were so nice - from being greeted to being taken care of by our server, everyone was very welcoming and had great attitudes. The style of this restaurant has a bit of a sports bar vibe, but the layout also provides a good family atmosphere so taking your kids for brunch doesn't feel weird or out of place despite the sports bar vibe. I ordered the chicken and Brie sandwich - our server said they were taking it off the menu, and I'll be sad to see it go because it was delicious. The chicken, Brie, and pears really pair together so nicely. I've never had a sandwich like this. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito and he said it was also really good. My daughter had the kids chicken tenders and she cleaned her plate, so I think that's a good sign. We also enjoyed the ooey gooey chocolate cake (I think that's what our server called it lol) it's a flourless chocolate cake and it was DELICIOUS. I'm not gluten free or necessarily choose desserts that are flourless, but I have tried a few in my day and they always taste like they're lacking something - but this cake completely changed my mind on that stance. It was so rich, so soft. It was more of a brownie texture - but I highly recommend trying it, it was really, really tasty.

Saltgrass Steak House -- Birthday Lunch Done Right…read more My wife's birthday was actually March 11th, but we didn't get the chance to celebrate until today -- Friday the 13th. Turns out... it was her lucky day. First of all, she's married to me -- and what a gift that is. And second, she chose Saltgrass Steak House for lunch. Add in a beautiful Oklahoma afternoon -- sunshine, warm temperatures, and just enough breeze to make it a perfect day to get out -- and we were off to celebrate. The Experience From the moment we walked in, the experience was excellent. Connor was our waiter and delivered friendly, attentive service throughout the entire meal. The kind of service where you never feel rushed but your glass is never empty. The restaurant has that classic Texas steakhouse feel -- rustic wood, western décor, and a great wine display right at the entrance. The Meal We both ordered the Signature Steak & Grilled Shrimp lunch special. My plate: * Signature steak * Grilled shrimp * Sweet potato My wife's plate: * Signature steak * Grilled shrimp * Baked potato The shrimp were excellent -- nicely seasoned with just the right char from the grill. My wife's steak was terrific. Mine was a little on the chewy side, but when the manager stopped by to check on our meal I chose the honest route and mentioned it. The Management Touch This is where Saltgrass really impressed me. Manager Dauminque didn't just check the box and move on -- he stayed and had a genuine conversation with us. We talked about menu favorites, the best steaks on the menu, and of course... Dessert. During our conversation we mentioned a previous visit where we had an outstanding waiter named Dakota. As luck would have it, Dakota was working that day and stopped by the table to say hello. Those kinds of personal touches matter. The Surprise Ending As we were wrapping up our meal, Dauminque surprised us by comping a slice of carrot cake for my wife's birthday. Now here's the funny part... I told him I'm currently on a personal mission to find the best carrot cake in the OKC metro. He confidently told me theirs was very good. He didn't lie. This was a fantastic slice of carrot cake -- moist, rich, loaded with texture, and topped with a generous layer of cream cheese frosting. It's officially near the top of my carrot cake leaderboard. Final Thoughts Great service Great management Great atmosphere Very good food That combination makes for a memorable dining experience. And for a Friday the 13th birthday celebration... It turned out to be pretty lucky after all. We'll definitely be back. - Terry | Always searching for the best bite in Oklahoma! Follow my food journey: @cheft_2469

Only note I would mention: when customers arrive, please make sure SOMEONE speaks to them. We stood at the door for a few minutes before someone spoke to us. We were seated at a table, that was cleaned off but not wiped down. Before sitting, I noticed crumbs I still had to remove from the booth. We ordered waters, but chose not to stay once we glanced at the menu. We didn't see the comfort foods we were looking for at a decent price. Again, the place we ended up turned out to be similar but something about the previous encounters (and the fact that we were seated and served drinks with enough time to change our mind and no one had come by to check on us) gave us pause to patronize the place. It could have lasted a lot longer but at least they were checking out. I'm thinking it is just rude to carry on a conversation while using a speaker phone and trying to eat your meal. My thoughts are to wait and finish the call when you're not in the middle of a meal or simply leave the table to finish your call. On top of that the restaurant was very busy so the noise level was increased. We arrived at 9:30AM and didn't really expect the place to be so full. We sat ourselves at a two seat table and our waitress arrived quickly to take our drinks. They have a new menu so I had to look at all the options available to me. I opted to try a Skillet since I've never had before and my wife chose the Baja Omelette. To be perfectly honest we didn't like either one. The Farmers Skillet was bland and had an over use of onions & green peppers. The eggs seemed over cooked with just a smattering of cheese. I ate what I could but probably left half of it on my plate. The Baja Omelette is something my wife has had previously and she's enjoyed it. She's figured out if you add cream cheese in the middle you have an omelette that is over the top delicious. Unfortunately on this visit that didn't happen. Usually the cream cheese is melted inside before arriving to the table. What she ended up with was a cold chunk of cream cheese in the middle. Even the other cheese didn't melt. She asked me to try the hash browns and at first bite I thought they were pretty good but the after taste was not so pleasant. Not sure what went wrong on those. The upside to the whole meal; they delivered on their homemade toast. Not all was lost on this visit. I am just chalking this up to a bad cook because I've been dining at Jimmy's for many years and have always had great meals. I'm not sure of the typical protocol for cellphones in a restaurant but speakerphones is a definitely no no! I'm not sure how the wait staff and/or manager can politely tell the customer to get off her speakerphone other than being blunt about it.
