Decided to try this restaurant with my daughter this evening. First impression, we were a table of two. I was told a 5-10 min wait. No problem! I'm used to more. I was irritated because a party of two that came about 7 min after me were seated first. Once we were seated our waitress was great. Treated us in a timely manner. My complaint comes from the the drink and food received. My top shelf margarita was watered down. Only tasted the margarita mix. I ordered a steak (medium) and fried shrimp. I received a steak that was well done with rubbery shrimp, obviously over cooked. The loaded baked potato was basic. Bland. Not sure what else to say... My child's chicken strips and fries were bland. She had maybe two bites. We left the rest. Will never be back. read more

I would give the restaurant no stars if I could. The food was disgusting. My friend and I ate their Monte Christo Sandwich and it was greasy, didn't use the correct cheese and was prepared in a way I have never had a Monte Christo. The Sandwich had no flavor and it was disgusting We told the waitress which did offer no resolution. Asked for the manager. He apologized but did nothing to make us happy. Service was horrible. It took over an hour to finally get our meals. Asked for plates for croissants and got 3 for a table of 5. Asked for baked potato with butter only and it came loaded. Gravy was left off the chicken fried steak and the chicken was left off another pasta dish. We had to track someone down to get refills on our water and even though the manager acknowledged things were not good no one ever apologized for anything. read more

Normally love the service I've had, but this evening it wasn't great while placing a to-go order. Was placed on hold multiple times. Also I ordered bacon cheese fries. They taste stale and have little to no bacon. When I've gotten this in the past it has been great, so it's very disappointing to have gotten this. read more

Disappointed in our lost meal with the family. A couple red flags at the start: dirty floors, gross queso.. then a little bug in the kid's broccoli. Been to other Cheddar's locations in the USA and loved them. Glad they opened in OKC! Servers were polite and well trained. Portions and prices are very reasonable. They don't bulk up the food to bulk up the price. Location is loud, but many folks might appreciate that. read more

Ate here Sunday evening 2/1/25, 4 people. Restaurant not very crowded while we were there. Food was very good as usual. We discovered this place 6 months ago and food has been consistently good. We've eaten there half a dozen previous times. Service has been OK at beginning but declining slightly with each visit. Today the service was just plain bad. Server took our drinks order. 3 of 4 drinks arrived after 10 min. 1 of the 3 drinks was wrong. The 4th drink, the only one that was alcoholic, took 40 min to arrive after we asked about it 3 times (after each request server said "it's coming.") Server finally brought a different alcoholic drink vs whatever ordered. We turned it away. Correct one arrived after 40 min. Server several times referred to the restaurant as "they," as in "they don't have shrimp cocktails." Server disappeared several times until we asked other servers to find her. When food arrived (after 45 min) it was incomplete and it took two requests to get the missing items. When we commented on the service, server said she was comping all our drinks and dessert as an apology. We used the electronic tableside tablet to pay. It showed we were being charged for 3 alcoholic drinks. We challenged that and the server said ignore that, she was comping all 3. She comped 1. We didn't want any dessert so no comp there. We tipped 10% and left. Cherry on top: somebody switched the Muzak system to twangy country music and turned up the volume halfway through our meal. Hate that stuff. Upon arrival, we weren't greeted. The hostess just kept doing what she was doing without saying hi /welcome or anything. Waitress seemed tired and a bit checked out (we went close to 6 pm if that matters). She took our order, which included 2 appetizers. We ordered 2 orders of croissants, which should've given us 4 croissants total, and chips and queso. Instead, we received 3 orders of croissants (so 6 croissants total) and never got our chips and queso. After 15-ish minutes, we asked about the queso. She checked on it and realized she forgot to put that order in. No big deal. Our food was almost ready, so we told her to nix the chips & queso. Our food comes out and it's a bit disappointing in appearance. Broccoli rice casserole looked a bit on the old side, but tasted ok. My mashed potatoes were almost non-existent. There was barely a scoop on my $19-ish plate of food. They tasted ok though. Ribs were pretty terrible, as there was more fat on them than actual meat. Steak was ok, but flavorless aside from the grilled mushrooms and onions I had them add to it. Overall, it was pretty disappointing. My husband and son both had chicken strip platters. They both said their chicken tasted like it was cooked earlier in the day or a previous day. I never got a refill of my water. The whole experience was just blah. We probably won't be back. Charlestons and Cattleman's seem to be the only place that you can get good food AND good service, all in the same visit. ; ;my girlfriend and I went for lunch. We got there at 11a but by the 11:30 mark the place was packed. The fish tank as you enter is beautiful. Customer Service was excellent. They haven't been open for very long so they are still learning how to do things. I ordered the shrimp with pasta. It was very good. Shrimp were cooked well and not rubbery. In my opinion it could have used more sauce. Next time we go I will definitely order the same thing and request more sauce. My girlfriend ordered the salmon and veggies. Would give zero stars if it was an option. I tried the locations in Texas and they were trash. I thought I'd give them a chance when they opened this location in OKC. 0/10 do not recommend. Their hostess and servers have attitudes and lack any customer service skills. We sat at the bar, and watched the server dig her dirty, fake acrylic nails into a pineapple, then place it on another customers drink. Onto the food: tasteless and mediocre. Ordered the spinach dip for appetizer. Chips were soggy and stuck together. The dip had no taste, even after I added salt. Steak was tough and chewy, and the chicken was also tasteless. I wouldn't recommend anyone waste their time or money here. Try Longhorn next door better. read more

We went back, because we know they have good food. Our service was wonderful and out food was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of delicious, fresh cooked food. We absolutely love the sweet rolls that we get before dinner. I understand that this location has only been open a month, but there are standards no matter what. Cold food is unacceptable, messed up drinks are acceptable, and poor service is acceptable. We first had a 20 min wait which is not a problem. But once we sat down we ordered a tea, a water, and a frozen margarita. None of which should take more than 10 mins. Which the Margarita didn't come for 20 mins. Then the appetizer cheese curds came out just a smidge over cold. While trying to enjoy like warm food we waited almost an hour for our main food to come out. No one ever asking if we was ok or hey your food is almost done or a hey we hate you. So we decided that we would just pay for what we have ate/drank. Once we told the waitress wouldn't you know our food was finally ready at this point the margarita was finished 30 mins before and the cheese curds had settled. So we chose to get McDonald's over even take the food home. The staff is not accommodating like they need to be. We will not be back to this location. Hopefully they work out all the crap and succeed because I know they have families and bills but for our family we will pass. read more

It's not what it use to be service was not what it was. Sub par instead of awesome. Food was not flavored ,Cole slaw broccoli casserole it's what I went there for not anymore it was not good. I had fish no flavor my wife had steak and chicken finger combo steak had no flavor even after getting grilled onion and mushroom on top , again no flavor. Granted this was valentines day on a Friday. We had signed up for seating ahead of time on the website so we were seated quickly. We waited for a bit before the Waitress was able to take our drink order. At that time we ordered appetizers for the table. There were 6 of us this evening BTW. We also ordered drinks from the bar. The appetizers came out first before our waters or drinks. Other than utensils we had no plates to put our appetizers on. The Waitress seemed overwhelmed. When she did bring our drinks she handed everyone the wrong drink so we had to taste the drinks to figure out what was what. After the drinks we finally got our complimentary croissants. Our seemed like forever before our food was delivered. Which my son ordered the chicken fried steak with gravy which showed up with no gravy. His baked potato Iooked as if it had sat under a heating lamp for too long as it was dry. I had pasta which the sauce was runny not creamy at all. 3 of us had our drinks go dry before the Waitress realized the glasses were empty. Overall it was a miserable meal for the price we were charged. We've been there before and had incredible service. This day was subpar for sure. If I could've given a negative review I would. We still tipped 18% even though I really didn't feel like tipping anything from the horrible service and mistakes from the kitchen staff on our orders. They even messed up on my youngest sons children's order which was just a hamburger patty. No bread no cheese just the patty. How can you mess that up? Just cook a patty and put it on a plate. We went to Cheddar's for the first time last night. Everything on the menu looked quite good; however, we were both disappointed with our meals. The honey butter croissants sounded delicious but when they brought them out, the bread was dry and the honey butter was very thick and unappetizing. We got a strawberry lemonade which was very delicious and I would totally get again. I got the Monte Cristo sandwich but was more than displeased. The cheese tasted like Kraft singles, the breading was incredibly greasy, and the fries tasted dry and stale. My partner got the half rack of ribs, which lacked sauce and was also quite greasy but was definitely better than the Monte Cristo. The service was a little lacking, but it was very busy so I understand that the staff was doing their best. Overall, it was not something we would try again. read more

We ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs and shrimp. What I received was fat covered in barbecue sauce. Meat is not white and jelly like no matter how much barbecue sauce you add on top. This is almost $20 a plate. Disgusting!!! If you want meat instead of fat order from Swadleys or Chili's. Teach your people to choose better cuts of meat. Not fat!!! Oh yes and I don't know why we tipped. I guess when you get it to go you need to look at it and see what is underneath the sauce. read more
