Came to cheddars on a Friday night closer to 9pm it was more in the packed side but not too loud, I was seated quickly . It took about five to ten minutes before our waiter came and brought us the croissants and we ordered drinks. After drinks and ordered things were moving very smoothly , Sebastian checked on us which was great. I got the 14oz ribeye with broccoli and mashed potatoes with a side of shrimp . Overall the food was really good especially the seasoning on the ribeye and shrimp, just would have liked 1 or 2 pieces more.

Excellent food, outstanding service, clean bathrooms, wonderful atmosphere! The croissants are delicious! I really liked the fish and chips!

Smokehouse burger with sweet bbq sauce, bacon and caramelized onions

We did the online check in from their website which I highly recommend. We arrived around 11:45 on a Sunday and they were busy. Large parties were waiting. We only had to maybe wait 5 minutes before we were seated. They put us in the bar area. The seating was very nice. I got the bacon cheeseburger and fries. It was cooked perfectly and the veggies were fresh. The fries were just warm but seasoned perfectly. Hubby got the smokehouse burger and fries. His had a sweet bbq sauce, bacon and caramelized onions. It was very good, but the onions were not caramelized much and some of those onions were tough like they used the first layer of the onion which should of been tossed or saved for a broth. His fries were just warm but seasoned well. Before they brought us our food we both received the croissant with honey butter and they were light and delicious. Tara was our server and the bartender and she was amazing. She was busy the whole time we were there, but she always checked on us. A manager came by and checked on us which was nice.

Updated review... Still things off about this Cheddar's.. Tay is amazing first of all! Thank you for being awesome. Weird visit in my perspective. We ordered. Things came out hot and fresh and originally on time. Mishap with the sides to our order. Weird that the manager Navy came out to retrieve the side dishes that were on the plate by mistake. Fries and green beans when we originally had ordered loaded baked potato and broccoli cheese casserole. Also weird. I go to bar on my way to bathroom to see what's on draft. Told my server I wanted the hazy IPA. She comes back to let me know they only have Bud light and blue Moon on tap.... Crazy thing is they have 4 tap handles... But only 2 beers on draft... I have worked in the industry previously... When we were out we removed tap handles and educated all staff of the being out. I guess I just wasn't ready for the experience. Having been to this Cheddar's multiple times... I have yet to have a normal and mistake free visit. I didn't know how else to share the amazing job Tay did. But the kitchen blemish and bar blemish has me wondering what's really going on at Cheddar's. Questions reach out ! Respectfully, Bryan

This was my first time dining at this restaurant and things went smoothly from the start. I did visit at the lunch time rush but we were seated right away. Our server DeeDee was quick to our table to take our drink orders. She started us out with croissants - they were just okay. If I were to make a recommendation it would be to add a small side of honey butter. I'm typically not a beverage drinker other than water but the Raspberry Lemonade really appealed to me. Once the drinks were delivered we opted for an appetizer and I chose the Cheddar's Trio Sampler. This consisted of four chicken tenders, Santa Fe Spinach dip, and salsa with house fried tortilla chips. We wanted to add the ground beef to the queso for free but our server said they didn't have it to add. I found that to be odd since they have it advertised for free on their menu. There were several options that caught my attention but I eventually opted for the Monte Cristo. It's been quite some time since I had that sandwich and the thought of that with the raspberry jelly definitely made me happy. It came with fries - which I usually select to have them well done. My wife & daughter choose the Classic Burger w/Fries which came out like just like they wanted them to! Overall it was a great meal and were pleasantly happy. DeeDee was there to guide me through the checkout process which turned out to be pretty easy. She provided us with To Go boxes and drinks! I would recommend giving this place a try

This was the worst experience I've had in recent memory. In fact, I can't recall when I've been more disappointed. We went Saturday, June 15th at 1130am. We were seated and I noticed something on the table. It might have been cheese or something else but regardless the table was dirty, at least in one spot. The hostess kept placing our menus on the table and said she would bring me a napkin. And that's literally what she did. There was no apology, no let me get your table wiped down, nothing. She didn't care. We were seated in a booth near the kitchen. I could hear a manager talking very loudly to the staff about the portion size of something. He said it was a scoop and they were putting out portions that were too large. I don't care to know this information. Keep your voice down whoever you are. The waiter was a tall young man wearing a mask. Yes, I remember his name but I'm not going to put it here. I don't know if he was sick or didn't want to be there but he was rude, short, impatient, impolite and made snide comments. He wins the award for the worst waiter I've ever experienced. If I hadn't been there with my father and his wife I would've called for the manager, explained the situation and left. My father got meatloaf. The first dish was burned to a crisp. The replacement was better but it's not meatloaf. It's a smoky hamburger patty. Call it hamburger steak but don't sell it as meatloaf. We had to ask for dipping sauce three times before it appeared. I had the Key West shrimp and chicken. I have no idea how it gets this name. I thought it would have lime as a prominent ingredient and flavor but nope, that wasn't the case. The shrimp were delivered with the tail on so I got to handle hot and sauced shrimp before I could eat them. Why wasn't the tail removed? Warm croissant rolls were delivered to the table. They looked delicious but somehow the flavor had been removed. They were flaky and light and airy but had no taste. I don't even know how this is possible. I can't recommend this restaurant and can't imagine any scenario that gets me back through the door.

14 oz. Ribeye

I ordered to-go. It took about 35 minutes for the food to come out. The ribeye was cold and not seasoned properly. I'm assuming it was cold because it was probably just sitting. Red beans and rice (chefs kiss). The croissant was probably one of my favorites in the world. The bar could've been a little bit cleaner than what it was. It was very sticky. I also don't like the idea of placing menus at every seat of the bar it looks kind of tacky.

My first visit to Cheddar's, which is fairly new to the OKC area. Restaurant was clean and stylish. We only waited about 10 minutes at 7pm on a Friday, so that's a plus. Our server, Maddie, told us she was new but I wouldn't have known by her service. She was excellent! On top of everything and even kept us informed while we waited for our bar drink so we'd know she hadn't forgotten. 4 stars for Maddie!! The food was good! We started with the cheese bites, which were perfectly golden and just the right amount of crispy and soft. We wanted a frozen cocktail but their machine was down. That's ok, we had it on the rocks and still enjoyed it! I had steak & shrimp with baked potato and the salad, and hubby had dry ribs & shrimp with mashed potatoes and a salad. Steak and ribs were perfect. No sauce needed. Shrimp were big and crunchy and the batter was different but we liked it. Salads were good- more than just lettuce & tomatoes. My only complaint was the baked potato. It was undercooked to the point where I couldn't even really stir it enough to melt my cheese fully. But honestly, I don't think I've gotten one anywhere (outside of a bbq joint) in the last few years that wasn't undercooked, so I'm not even really holding that against them. We will definitely go back!

This is my kind of place; Urban BBQ!…read moreI am from out of time and I love me a good brisket. I absolutly figue Oklahoma has got to know BBQ! My friend suggested this place and specially burnt ends- which Ive never had before. Well this place did not disappoint. Its five star baby! I ended up getting a choose 2 plate which includes 2 meats and 2 sides. I did have the burnt ends and turkey; brussel sprouts with carrots and fried okra. Everything was delicious, the brussel sprouts had no bacon (which is plus for me). The one and only thing I would say is a little more flavor on the fries okra... but thats just me. Put some salt on it a keep it moving. Now they had some corn muffins that were good but huney let me tell you about the butter with the jabanero jam! Wow, wow, wow! The service was great from everyone but special shout out to Matt who was patient and kind even tho we were one of those annoying people who came in less than an hour before close. The manager came by and greated everyone. We really wanted to meet the chef and pay our complements but he was probably ready to go since we were there late. Looks like they have outdoor seating as well. If I lived here- this would deffinately be my go to.

Good thing for me, they are open on Sundays to take all my money (Let's be honest, I was throwing it at them). Okay, fine, I'll talk about the food... YUMMMM. Ordered the brisket & rib combo plate. Meat was falling off the bones and flavored to perfection. Comes with two sides - I got the above mentioned jalapeño corn bread & greens beans. Came with an unapologetically absurd amount of butter - aww, they know my love language. My favorite part is the chewy, sweet pieces of corn they add to the batter. Reminds me of Jiffy... IYKYK. Now the sauce - IMO Texas bbq style. Bold, red and perfect balance of sweet & tang. They allow 2 choices so I selected spicy and regular. Both highly recommended. Lastly, I tacked on a side of their green cabbage slaw; it couldn't be skipped. It indeed is green, has a great crunch and not too creamy. Overall - fantastic flavor, quick service & quality ingredients. My brother is a huge fan of ribs so you better believe I texted him pics to bait him into visiting soon. I ordered takeout this time but we'll visit the restaurant when he comes to town!

Um YUMM! I've definitely been underestimating Cajun Corner…read more We ate in on a Sunday evening and the place was casual and lively. The staff was friendly They have a range of Cajun-based food options and had alcoholic drinks as well! We tried the blackened fish, the shrimp fettuccine pasta, a salad, and the gumbo, whew our socks were blown off. Everything was really tasty and the meat was fresh and seasoned super well. This may be one of my favorite pastas in OKC! The servings are a lot of bang for your buck -- we walked out stuffed, with lunch for tomorrow. New fave on my list, great for every night eats.

Unfortunately, the entrée didn't work for me. I believe it was a cream-sauce étouffée with shrimp and blackened catfish?, and the portion was huge. While the price point seemed inexpensive for the amount of food you receive, the flavors just didn't come together. It was extremely salty, had an overpowering spice that lingered on the back of my tongue, and overall just felt like there was too much going on. I ended up leaving most of it because it was genuinely difficult for me to eat. As someone born and raised in southeastern Louisiana, I know my perspective may be different from someone/OKC residents who isn't familiar with Cajun food. There's a GREAT misconception that Cajun food is supposed to be extremely spicy, when in reality, Louisiana food is about layers of flavor and seasoning, not simply heat, if any. For me, this dish was missing that balance. I will say the bartender was very sweet, attentive, and personable, and I really enjoyed our conversation. The customer service was definitely a positive!! Unfortunately, though, I wouldn't recommend the food based on my experience, and it's not somewhere I would return if I'm back in OKC. The portions were generous, but more food doesn't make up for a lack of balance and flavor.
