    Crab cakes

Overall the meal was good. The crab cakes were excellent and the steak was tender. Service was good. Restaurant is dark, nicer than expected for a strip mall for sure. Would be good for a date night but is a little higher priced than expected and not quite on par with Ranch or Mahogany. I would definitely go again but wouldnt be my first choice at this price point.

Michaels was pretty expensive (over $200 for 2 people) but worth IT! The service was fast, but a little slow to get our check. There wasn't much parking by the restaurant, so we had to walk a little bit. We walked in with no reservation around 6:30 and were seated right away. The Chicken Piccata was really good and our favorite dish. The Chicken Parm was good, but not worth $45. The dessert was of course the best part - we got the Chocolate Gateau and Apple Pie Ala Mode. Will definitely be returning again!

We absolutely love this place. This was our second time there in a month and half and we are going again. So basically 3 times in 2 months. My husband had the lamb chops the first time and he was hooked. The next time he had the scallops and was even more hooked. The Caesar salad is delicious and the grilled shrimp appetizer is a must. Also, don't forget to indulge yourself with a brandy ice for dessert. Amazing service both times.

My (often picky and always opinionated) husband of nearly thirty years LOVED his Chicken Marsala, but I had, alas, already eaten earlier that day and so, uh, consoled myself with (yum!) a very pleasant (i.e., rich, creamy, and perfectly prepared) crème brûlée. Our dinner partners enjoyed shrimp and salad. White glove service from start to finish. Beautiful bar!

I met friends here for a birthday dinner. Very unassuming location but I was greeted and shown to the table with my friends as soon as I came in. The menu is huge and very varied. Our server Michael came and took our drink order. My drink was GOOD. I'm always suspicious when I'm served alcohol in a tall glass because I feel like it's gonna be watered down. That was not the case here. My drink was strong and my friends got the same on the second round. I wasn't very hungry so I ordered the soup of the day (shrimp and lobster bisque), a Caesar salad and Brussel sprouts. The birthday girl ordered a house salad and my bestie had a Caesar as well. All were delicious and I definitely appreciated the veggies on the house salad. We ordered crème brûlée and apple pie alamode and both were delicious. My Brussel sprouts were the best. I want them again. The soup was ok. My friend had the chicken parmigiana and said it was good but could have been better and the birthday girl had the lobster mac and cheese. She said it was ok. Our server Michael was prompt. Checked in on us and our food was served in an appropriate amount of time. I'll definitely be back to try the lasagna. It looked amazing and my bestie was sad she didn't get it.

Creme Brule - we ate half and didn't finish it; felt curdled and was very disappointing

Very fun around the bar and a proper experience in dining. The Cesar salad and the KC strip are class.

Their menu has some core offerings that don't really change, along with other items which are seasonal based on whatever ingredients are available locally. Most things served in the restaurant are made in-house from scratch and those ingredients are sourced locally in Oklahoma which I find to be pretty awesome! Their burgers are delicious, so its extremely hard for me to come here and order something other than that, but I have still been impressed when I have ordered other types of entrees. Lastly, you have to try their whiskey cake at LEAST once. I'm weird about my desserts and only eat one type of cake, one type of pie, one type of ice cream, etc... well, I have make an exception for cake. The only type of cake I eat is regular white cake w/ buttercream icing, but I had to create a lone exception for Whiskey Cake's whiskey cake.

So the daughter and I headed on over to see if its still as good as I remember. Crab cake appetizer. You only get 1 but it had some great flavor with the remoulade sauce. The only negative was the tiny pieced shell in the crab cake. Unfortunately thats almost a given for fresh pulled crab meat. Farm salad was very fresh and had a great dressing. I believe it was a white balsamic vinaigrette. I ordered the ribeye,With garlicky spinach. The steak had great flavor. I wish it would have been more tender. But overall, the cut of steak was really good. My daughter ordered the New York strip with fingerling potatoes. The way she demolished that steak tells me that she was hungry and that it was delicious. Naturally, we ordered the whiskey cake for dessert and it did not disappoint. It was everything I remembered. From the spiced pecans to the bourbon cream sauce. I hope to stop by before I leave town and get another one for the road!

Just don't go here…read more I've lived here for 5 years and by far the worst restaurant experience I have had in Oklahoma, and if you see my other reviews I'm pretty forgiving and tend to give spots the benefit of the doubt. This is a place worth an absolute flaming of a review.... But they already wasted enough of my time and energy today so I'll just summarize. No management on scene, no hostess, one server, two bartenders and a restaurant at 50% capacity on Mother's Day at 1 p.m. From walking in to having our orders taken, 30 minutes. 45 minutes later our order of roasted vegetable salad, steak eggs Benedict, and sourdough toast arrived. Salad was very well burnt but my mom was trying to be nice and didn't want to walk out. Eggs Benedict came out with two eggs boiled through, a hollandaise sauce with a sour smell and cold steak. I didn't eat it and no one seemed to notice, had it removed from my bill easy enough, but again zero F's given and no management showed daylight. Wife's toast actually arrived 5 minutes after the 'rest' of the food and the only thing hot and delicious. Toast here is $11, so there's that. No one cares here. From the health violations and poor food safety I saw in the kitchen, the multiple tables I witnessed sending back food to the multiple parties puzzled as to why they weren't being sat or once they were entirely ignored... it was so wildly bad I was embarrassed for everyone else having the same experience. Again, don't go.

It's so much larger and open. The bar is good size as well. We sat upstairs and loved being able to take in all that was happening, bartender, chef, staff it was great. Our food was amazing! The salad was simple but delicious, steaks were bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. The Mac and cheese was a little dry for my liking but was good. Our drinks were unique and very good but the show stopper was dessert .... The bread pudding! I've never had anything as good. Raven has mastered bread pudding. Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.
