Excellent and affordable seafood - fried fish platters, crab legs, prawns - in a relatively spacious interior environment with great service. In the building where that affordable Asian restaurant / street food place used to be, and it was a sushi place before that. They recently opened as well so check it out!

The food, service, and prices were all super legit. For a seafood boil spot, that's exactly what you hope for -- bold flavor, generous portions, and a bill that doesn't make you regret ordering extra. The value is definitely there. The portion sizes were solid, and everything came out hot and well-seasoned. Service was friendly and attentive. Our server checked in at the right times and made sure we had what we needed without hovering. The overall vibe was relaxed and fun -- exactly what you want when you're sitting down to crack shells and get your hands messy.

All secondary roads are still snow packed so at 11:30 there was only one other couple in the restrauant. The Press is in an old (1920's ?) repourposed building. The interior is comfortable, charming and a bit whimsical. We started with an order of cheese sticks. They were very good and large. I liked that the cheese sticks did not have Italian seasoning in the breading. Jan ordered the chicken fried ribeye with mashed potatoes, cream gravey and green beans. Jan loved it. I took a bite of the chicken fried steak and it was excellent. The green beans were very good. They were loaded with garlic, which I love, but if you're not a garlic fan, I would suggest another side. I ordered the grilled chicked sandwich with waffle fries. The sandwich was good and the waffle fries were excellent. The portions are large and the food quality excellent. The prices reasonable. The menu has variety. The employee who answered the phone was friendly and knowledgeable in informing me that they have two nut free bowl options which are the orange chicken and the sesame rice bowl. Since hubby also wanted a buffalo chicken sandwich, I asked the employee if this food item contained nuts and after confirming with another employee, she replied that the sandwich was also nut free and consists of their store made chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, cabbage, and vegan ranch. Following my phone call and after reviewing the restaurant's menu online, I ordered the down home bowl consisting of cashew mac and cheese, their store made TLB chicken tossed in BBQ sauce, grilled broccoli and topped with green onion while hubby got the orange chicken bowl as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Upon arriving at the restaurant, hubby and I were warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and I was pleasantly surprised that once could order inside the restaurant in addition to the online pickup and delivery options. The inside of the restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere with happy, bouncy music playing as well as various signs of solidarity with. Inside the restaurant, visual signage show customers the difference in bowl sizes between their standard regular bowl and a larger loaded bowl. Although I was excited to be able to purchase a premade orange chicken wrap to eat for the next day while on the road trip home, unfortunately, hubby was saddened to learn that their gravy for their mashed potatoes contains walnuts. The food pickup process was efficient and I was happy to be able to purchase additional sauces, premade wrap to go, and drinks to accompany our meal. Overall, the food was cooked well, presented beautifully, and was very tasty as well as filling. With a variety of menu options to choose from as well as generous portion sizes, I absolutely plan to visit "The Loaded Bowl" the next time I'm in the Oklahoma City area.

This whole road trip she'd be stuck eating salads and grilled chicken so we wanted to find something fun for her. This place did not disappoint! Even the rest of us with no food restrictions enjoyed the food. I got a side of Mac and cheese, my sister in law and her husband got the buffalo Mac and bbq Mac. She also got one of every gluten free dessert lol. The girl work was nice and helpful and the place is cute and gives hipster vibes. Very small inside so you can't eat there but outside to the right there's a big patio common area with tables. The food was really good. I'd say the "Mac" was more like a pasta dish as the cashew cheese is thick not gooey and creamy liked you would get in traditional Mac. But the flavor, consistency, and temp were still incredibly good. The desserts were our fave. They did not taste vegana or gluten free. They tasted like the real deal. I highly recommend the smores cookies!

Tucked away in a golf-club setting but open to the public, this spot feels like the best of both worlds: casual-clubhouse atmosphere and a menu full of bold, delicious choices. From the moment you step in (or drive up to 11340 Surrey Hills Blvd), the vibe is welcoming: a laid-back place where you can grab a bite before or after a round, or just swing by because you're craving something good. Their menu offers everything from wings, crispy mushrooms, and fried pickles to smash burgers, hot dogs, wraps -- but what stands out is their smash-burger game. My favorite -- and what I boldly call the best burger in the area -- is the "BackNine SMB." Two thin, crispy-edged patties smashed on the grill, American cheese, sautéed onions, jalapeño, and house sauce on a toasted bun. The flavor balance hits hard: juicy, slightly crunchy edges, melty cheese, the right kick from jalapeño, and just enough sauce to tie it all together. Service here is another big plus. During my visits, staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient -- not the kind of place where you wait forever for your order. Other reviews on Yelp echo that sentiment, calling The BackNine Grill "some of the best burgers I have had" and praising the quick, solid service. If you're after a great burger, fast service, and a relaxed, clubhouse-meets-diner vibe -- The BackNine Grill should be high on your list. Whether you're coming off the golf course or just ordering for take-out, I promise: give the BackNine SMB a try. You might just agree it's the best burger in the area.

Nosh Restaurant & Catering Creations: Weird Location, Great Food…read more You have probably driven by Nosh dozens of times and didn't know it was there - it's located on a hill, off an S-curve and dip in the road. But once you sample Kim Torres' delicious fare, you'll never forget where it is tucked back into 19th Street in Moore. The Nosh Restaurant comfortably seats 100, with another 36 in the glassed-in private dining area. You can request to sit by the cheery fireplace or closer to the bar area if that is more your style. Vintage settees, antiques, crystal chandeliers, and greenery surround the restaurant, providing a very restful, relaxing, yet fancy atmosphere. The day we visited for lunch, we opted for a pot of peach mango hot tea - you can also get it iced. The tea was smooth and subtly fruity, with cream and sugar added all around. If you order the scones, they are not hard or dense like traditional scones. The blueberry and cranberry scones were soft, warm, and bursting with flavor that only enhanced the clotted cream and lemon curd that accompanied them. The charcuterie board is a delightful addition to any meal. The hummus is flavorful and fun, but make sure you try the watermelon radishes. You can't go wrong with tea sandwiches, but their regular sandwiches are lovely meals, and don't get me started on their salads. Their pot roast is eye-crossing, yummy-groaning-at-the-table good - so tender you almost don't have to chew it. The savory gravy is more of an au jus and beckons the mashed potatoes. I didn't even add butter! The honey does not get lost on the thick slabs of tender Honey Garlic Pork Ribeye, with a twist of garlic to keep it from being too sweet. The maple-roasted sweet potatoes were like eating the best of Fall rolled into one side dish. The Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese dish is a comfort meal for your senses. The flavors and textures swirl around in your mouth and, like the cheeses, pervade every corner of the pasta. One of my all-time favorites, which I could eat every time I visit Nosh, is their Tuscan Chicken. The pasta has a spiral, "corduroy" feel to your tongue that holds up to the chicken breast and the thick, creamy sauce full of sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. You must try dessert if you have any room left after your meal. We had Red Velvet Cake Dots and Lemon Curd and Maraschino Cherry Pastry Cups, both of which were the "cherry" on top of a perfect lunch. Nosh is located at 200 SE 19th Street in Moore, OK. It is open 11 am--3 pm Tuesday through Saturday and closed Monday. For more information or to see a menu online, visit noshinmoore.com.

The restaurant isn't much to look at from the outside--just a tiny little white and blue building. Sitting right off 10th, parking is tight as well. Inside isn't fancy, but that's my vibe. There is an outdoor patio I didn't get to check out, but the road noise from 10th is pretty noticeable even inside. Overall the atmosphere feels small town coastal, local, and not pretentious, but does suffer slightly from its location. Service was friendly, and paced as expected for fine dining. Honestly, it's refreshing to not feel rushed at a dinner service. We enjoyed our conversation over a bottle off their (small) wine list instead. We ordered the spring pre fix and it was just ALL hits, no misses. I wrinkled my nose at the menu a bit because I don't particularly love fennel or mint or lamb or hell even salmon but I I have been converted. The food was amazing. Perfectly cooked, seasoned, and portioned. The bread...the bread was the best bread starter I've tried. My wife hates oysters and loved the oyster (she tries everything cos she's not a child). The gnocchi was pillowy soft and amazing, not gummy or dense or mushy. The asparagus?! Amaze amaze amaze. 5 perfect courses (6 if you count the 2x different items for the table) for $77 a person?!?! Yes. We're going back asap.

From local food critic Jared Gleaton Eats full critique…read more Atmosphere and Hospitality: The atmosphere at Sedalia's feels less like a polished coastal seafood house and more like the hidden gem tucked behind a bustling boardwalk fishing restaurant--the kind locals quietly point you toward. We were greeted by Silvana, who warmly led us to our table while Becky guided the service throughout the evening. Plates were seamlessly swapped, water glasses never sat empty, and Becky demonstrated an impressive command of the menu and preparations. Throughout the meal, Zack and members of the kitchen team delivered several dishes themselves, describing each course in detail and offering a small but genuine slice of coastal hospitality. Food: Baked oyster, kent blanc, smoked trout roe, chive breadcrumbs ($35 1/2 Dozen) The dinner opens with a borderline transcendent bite of baked oyster, beautifully balanced and cooked to perfection, singing across the palate. A rich beurre blanc pairs seamlessly with the briny oyster while bursts of smoked trout roe punctuate each bite. The breadcrumbs on the back end provide just enough contrast in texture to round out an immaculate first course. Grilled focaccia for the table, salt cod butter, Szechuan oil, lime, chive, pecorino, balsamic ($15) The grilled focaccia is thick, fluffy, and fantastic. Notes of rich, airy bread give way to salty, buttery layers from the cod butter before finishing with subtle hints of char and acidity from the accompaniments. Barramundi tartare, kumquat, masa nachos, serrano & ancho chilies, spinach ($17) An excellent preparation, the tartare rests atop a thick masa nacho. The barramundi is soft yet slightly firm, its delicate flavor profile lifted by bright notes of kumquat and a subtle heat creeping through the back end from the serrano. Beef tongue anticuchos & la huancaína ($20) The tongue is beautifully prepared--tender with just enough structure. The anticuchos seasoning and huancaína sauce add a nutty, earthy depth that bursts across the palate with each bite. Duck confit pecorino crumble, pappardelle, alubia blanca beans, pecorino ($26) An absolutely beautiful layered dish. The rich duck confit is soft and rich with strong initial notes of pecorino giving way to middle notes of duck and end notes of tomato. Though presented in a tomato based pasta the addition of alubia blanca beans creates a creamy texture that surprises the palate, transforming what appears to be a brothy preparation into something far richer and more complex. Crispy fried hake, mojo rojo, aioli, potato ($23) A thoughtful take on fish and chips. The hake is fried perfectly, with an excellent fish-to-batter ratio. The aioli provides a creamy counterpoint while the mojo rojo adds depth and warmth. Grilled tuna collar with beurre blanc sauce (Special) This special was absolutely stunning and one of the finest bites of 2026. The rich, fatty tuna cheek is tempered beautifully by the creamy, tangy beurre blanc and fragrant tarragon. Each element complements the other, creating a layered, indulgent bite that borders on perfection. Potatoes a la huancaína, ají amarillo, sorghum, olive ($14) This course pushes firmly into transcendent territory. The soft layers of potato are draped in an ethereal ají amarillo sauce that delivers gentle heat while coating the palate in luxurious flavor. Each bite teases you into the next. Honey semifreddo, pomegranate molasses, meringue, citrus ($14) A triumphant end to the evening. The honey semifreddo melts effortlessly on the palate, cleansing and refreshing before giving way to the deeper sweetness of pomegranate molasses and delicate notes of meringue and citrus. A beautifully balanced and borderline transcendent finale.
