I really wanted to try the afternoon tea at Nosh and was so looking forward to it. Well, you get what you pay for. First of all they set up a tiny table for 3, there was no room on the table top to even lay your phone down, it was full of plates, teacups and saucers, teapots, cutlery etc. Overdone and pretentious. I grew up in Sydney Australia and have had high tea all my life, English high tea is not set up ridiculously like Nosh does. They also seated us right at the entrance of a baby shower party, where people walked past us in and out of the event room which also has clear glass partition, so we felt like we were being watched as well as constantly disrupted with traffic. The tea was the only good part. The food on the trays were dismal: sandwiches were dry, most likely prepared the day before. Egg salad sandwich was nothing more than a smear of mashed eggyolk, extremely salty, on dried up bread. I can't even remember the other bad sandwiches. The desserts were so sorry looking, they must've been at least 2-3 days old. The lemon tart was disgusting, a small dollop of lemon curd in a stale pastry cup; the "assorted cake dots" was 1 tiny bite of cake - literally size of a quarter. Macaron was store-bought. We did not get the scone with jam and cream that I pre-ordered. Nothing was really edible on the entire tray. This was THE SINGLE WORST dining experience I have ever had, embarrassing to say the least. The manager was walking around the restaurant in a weird jogging suit kinda outfit, very unprofessional. The servers were very polite but that really doesn't make up for the fact that they couldn't put together a proper tea. Don't waste your money. Oh, and bring cash, because they'll slap a 5% fee if you use card. This place is a huge embarrassment to Oklahoma, don't waster your time and money. read more

Nosh Restaurant & Catering Creations: Weird Location, Great Food You have probably driven by Nosh dozens of times and didn't know it was there - it's located on a hill, off an S-curve and dip in the road. But once you sample Kim Torres' delicious fare, you'll never forget where it is tucked back into 19th Street in Moore. The Nosh Restaurant comfortably seats 100, with another 36 in the glassed-in private dining area. You can request to sit by the cheery fireplace or closer to the bar area if that is more your style. Vintage settees, antiques, crystal chandeliers, and greenery surround the restaurant, providing a very restful, relaxing, yet fancy atmosphere. The day we visited for lunch, we opted for a pot of peach mango hot tea - you can also get it iced. The tea was smooth and subtly fruity, with cream and sugar added all around. If you order the scones, they are not hard or dense like traditional scones. The blueberry and cranberry scones were soft, warm, and bursting with flavor that only enhanced the clotted cream and lemon curd that accompanied them. The charcuterie board is a delightful addition to any meal. The hummus is flavorful and fun, but make sure you try the watermelon radishes. You can't go wrong with tea sandwiches, but their regular sandwiches are lovely meals, and don't get me started on their salads. Their pot roast is eye-crossing, yummy-groaning-at-the-table good - so tender you almost don't have to chew it. The savory gravy is more of an au jus and beckons the mashed potatoes. I didn't even add butter! The honey does not get lost on the thick slabs of tender Honey Garlic Pork Ribeye, with a twist of garlic to keep it from being too sweet. The maple-roasted sweet potatoes were like eating the best of Fall rolled into one side dish. The Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese dish is a comfort meal for your senses. The flavors and textures swirl around in your mouth and, like the cheeses, pervade every corner of the pasta. One of my all-time favorites, which I could eat every time I visit Nosh, is their Tuscan Chicken. The pasta has a spiral, "corduroy" feel to your tongue that holds up to the chicken breast and the thick, creamy sauce full of sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. You must try dessert if you have any room left after your meal. We had Red Velvet Cake Dots and Lemon Curd and Maraschino Cherry Pastry Cups, both of which were the "cherry" on top of a perfect lunch. Nosh is located at 200 SE 19th Street in Moore, OK. I went here recently to have tea with a friend and the kind waitress checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. Their selection of tea is nice and flavorful. My mother was referred to this place by the funeral home. My step father died in July and my mother began the task of planning his celebration of life for 50 people that would be in November. She spoke with Alexis who charged her $630.10 in September for "delivery and set-up of 70 cookies, 40% veggies, hummus, ranch dressing, and 60% fruit"... whatever that means? HOW DISAPPOINTING!!! On the day of the event we received store-bought cookies = 25$ + veggies = 17$ + fruit = 25$ a total $67 in food. 3 "rental" trays and 2 bowls (they came and picked up = 15?$. Plastic forks, small plates, and napkins = $15 in plastic. Assumed delivery fee= $25. Set up fee $0 because I did THAT myself. Grand total= $122. Amount STOLEN from my mom = 508.10... well played, Nosh and Alexis!!!! You won't be hearing from us ever again and I'm here to warn as many people as I can!!! read more

I have ordered the Heat and Eat meals consistently for a year and a half and I seriously don't think I can live without them! Fresh, healthy, tasty, REAL food that only needs to be reheated for a delicious meal. If I were to add together grocery shopping, meal planning, and all my time to do those things PLUS putting together and cooking a meal, I would spend more money by NOT ordering these meals. Ok so the wife and I decided to give Nosh a try. Reviews were mixed but went in open minded. Ordered a charcuterie board, well if you like diced cheese out of bag and three piece of meat. Well then this board will meet your expectations. Our water and ice tea glasses stayed empty. I ordered the Honey pork chop and the well the first bite was like biting into a charcoal briquette. Mash potatoes tasted very instant. Now the great part, my wife ordered the chicken caprices sandwich. Looked great but forgot the chicken. Difficult location for a restaurant. Not easy to find. There was no front-of-the-house management. Just two servers that were often in the kitchen at the same time. I ordered a hamburger medium-rare. It came to me way over cooked. After waiting several minutes for a server to become visible, I explained my dilemma. It was promptly redone and was raw. Third time was not a charm as it was still under cooked. The interior design was grandma's house in 1964. Foo-foo decor with fussy tea cups and flowery saucers. I paid $150 dollars to reserve their room for my baby shower. I was told this included tea and lemonade, neither of which was in the room, just water. I had little contact with anyone from Nosh until the week before my reservation date. No one asked how many quests I would have. I asked for some cheese trays for appetizers. They are $12 on the menu. The lady I spoke with said she could add some fruit also if I would like. I said yes and didn't ask how much it would be. I had my party tonight and my waitress asked if they person who had made my reservation spoke with me about the price for the cheese and fruit tray. I told her no so she went and spoke with a manager. I then get my ticket with $125 charge for the pictured cheese and fruit below. Most of my guests ordered and paid for meals. Yet I was being charged almost the entire price of my reservation for some cheese and fruit. I asked to speak with the manager and was told I "dropped the ball" by not asking how much they would charge but apparently their lack of communication and exorbitant price was good business? I didn't know adding a small appetizer would nearly double my reservation. I will not be eating here anymore and will not recommend it to anyone. read more

We had high hopes, but we're terribly disappointed. I ordered the honey pork chop "ribeye." Although the taste of the meat was delicious, it was way too pink by the time I got to the middle. My mashed potatoes tasted like instant, and my first bite was ice cold. The green beans were really good, I enjoyed those. I didn't eat half of this meal. My husband had the chicken and bacon Mac and Cheese. His meal was way better than mine, but he said on a scale of 1-5 stars, he really couldn't rate it. The decor and the atmosphere was really beautiful and this place has so much potential. But, with such a small and limited menu, they should be hitting it out of the park as far as their food and what they are serving. We will not be going back. So sad. read more

Nosh is the restaurant concept of the owners of catering creations. The food is well prepared by well trained chefs. They definitely know what they are doing. The inside is nice and comfortable with good background music and a very friendly staff. Perfect place for a date or Sunday brunch or as my wife said "this would be a great place to hold a baby shower or something.." Agreed. This place is different than the typical Moore style offerings and I really mean that they cook they food well, down to the way they prepare it. They obviously have had culinary training of some kind. If you want a nice sampling of some of their offerings and just a fun afternoon, go for the Sunday brunch buffet. $17 pp, but well worth it i think. This business is relatively new too and would be a great thing for the food culture and community of the area if they stayed around, so come support them and try some of their great food!! read more

In love! It is just priced right. The staff is helpful, always moving, not standing around. Our son had the banana, honey, PB sandwich. Of course I had to steal a bite. The perfect combination, not overloaded with PB. My husband got the everyday burger. The bun was fantastic, and the burger was cooked just right with the right amount of pink. I had the personal serving of Pot Roast. If I closed my eyes it would have taken me back to my mom's pot roast when I was a kid. My husband tried it and loved it! The presentation of the food was extraordinary. We will definitely be back. I actually plan to bring my daughter back for the tea "party" you can have. read more

I ordered as their menu states "The Best Chicken sandwich in the world" (This is the description on the menu The Best Chicken Sandwich in the World $12, Fresh grilled ciabatta roll with grilled lemon chicken breast, peppery arugula, cranberry aioli, melted Havarti, and honey fennel bacon), it was not. It was supposed to have peppery arugula on it, it had a wilted spring mix, when I asked the server about it she said "Oh we just use that and it has arugula in it." I asked for arugula & she went to the kitchen & brought me a bowl of spinach leaves, they didn't even know what arugula looked like! The chicken was a premade, precooked with fake grill marks on it patty, with no taste at all. My husband ordered "The Afterschool Special" (Afterschool Special $8 Our take on the classic grilled cheese with buttery toasted Texas toast, bubbling with cheddar, Havarti and Swiss cheese.) It wasn't on Texas toast but plain white bread, the cheese was processed cheese, nothing like the menu stated. The server only checked on us one time, and there were only 4 tables that had customers at them & I heard the table closest to us, complaining about their meal too. The staff seemed very unaware of any problems or even how to address them or the customers. Needless to say we will not return to this establishment because you are never sure what you are going to get & the staff doesn't even mention if there is a change or substitution being made. read more

I chose Nosh online because I wanted an offbeat (not chain) place to meet a friend, somewhere with coffee and food, located about halfway between Norman and Choctaw. I expected something much more casual so was surprised by the elegant atmosphere when I walked in. Really nice and feminine, bordering on dressy. But the service was as casual, friendly and homey as you could hope for. Great, warm hospitality. They had tablecloths, beautiful furniture, and Sinatra style music playing in the background. It's a tea house, I think that is their specialty, but my gosh the food menu was amazing. For a girly lunch, we certainly filled our bellies and left happy. With an order of two entrees, an online coupon offered a free appetizer. We chose the seasonal cheese board and liked it. Not much fruit on it, but the different cheeses, raw pecans, and crispy buttery bread slices were good. I ordered a huge spinach salad that was dressed with crumbly goat cheese and poppy seeds (plus many more extras) sliced chicken breast, and blueberry vinaigrette. YUM. My friend ordered the chicken drumsticks ("Hot Legs") with mashed potatoes and Daily Mac, all three of which she said were delicious. I sampled her chicken and loved the sticky BBQ sauce. PS those drumsticks were a lot bigger than either of us expected! For dessert, we split a slice of Ultimate Chocolate Cake. Really nice. Cold, dense, and chocolaty, yum. I craved a cup of coffee then, not tea. Plus we needed internet for a project we were doing. Coffee and internet are probably the only things that would have made the meal perfect. But of course I get it... Nosh is a relaxed, mellow, elegant tea house, not an internet cafe. No complaint. Just FYI. Our waitress was super sweet and kept our waters and my diet coke full. She answered lots of questions and made us feel relaxed, not at all rushed. Certainly a step above average lunch spots. And a small menu with lots of variety on it. We arrived around 1:30pm and at that time only a few tables were occupied. When we left we were the only table remaining. Basically not too busy. What most impressed me? The decor and vibe. It does not look like the typical restaurant inside. It feels like someones home... If that someone were to have lots of tables anyway. The food? It was good. Great flavor. That name-unknown chicken sandwhich looked dry to me but I didnt try it. He said it was fine. Just your average chicken club-ish sandwhich ( now this is what he says about most of his meals. They are fine. 70% fall into this range. However if this man ever says its amazing or bad then he feels strongly about it and most always its true.) Service? I used to be a server so I always make excuses if we get bad service. I have been here a couple times now. Their food is really good but extremely over priced. I paid 12 dollars for 2 pieces of French toast and a small cup of fruit. We went for their Sunday brunch only to be told they discontinued it. Decided to stay and try their brunch menu. The waitstaff didn't seem too experienced either. One of the days I went during lunch and the tables were full but each waiter couldn't have had more than 4-5 tables each. Their attention was minimal and not to mention they were quite slow. Took nearly 2 hours for lunch which seems quite long to me - especially if you are on a lunch break for work! All-in-all their food is tasty but I don't think I will be running back too quickly due to their high prices, minimal food, and mediocre service. read more

This place is literally across the street from Vans Pig stand and the water tower. There seems to be plenty of parking available. The interior is quite quaint and is a cross between classy and casual. It is a pretty new establishment and have some growing pains. Certain items like the loaded potato soup were coming off the menu and they did not have it. The server Emily was very nice and informative. She also did a great job in selling the different dishes. I had the Daily Mac which consisted of chicken mac and cheese and green peppers. It was delicious and filling. My palate does need some spice, but the only thing they carried is Siracha sauce. There were 3 kinds of teas.. hibiscus mango, strawberry and regular. None of them were sweet so you would need to add your flavor of sweetner. Most items on the menu were around $12 including the burgers... which seem a little high but the ambience may be the kicker? The groupon was definitely worth having to offset the higher cost. potato chips were like kettle chips which I am a big fan off. Totally disappointing with seeing they had some Good reviews I tried this out. I ordered the traditional breakfast with over easy eggs. The hash browns came out not cooked, not only did they not cook new ones (I had put pepper on mine and they came back with pepper) but the rest of my food got cold while the reheated them. The eggs were cooked medium and the biscuit was as hard as a hockey puck. The server was nice, but it was obvious he didn't normally take orders and the young lady that was supposedly servicing tables look as though she hated her job. read more

They have wonderful server's who are willing to accommodate to any of your needs, but the atmosphere and food of this place is awful. I came here with my s.o. on Valentine's day to find over-priced food in a restaurant that tried to look nice, but was more tacky than anything. They have stained tiles for the ceiling and dirty looking carpet that ruins any ambiance the place has. Tables and chairs have a cheap feeling to them as well, which doesn't add up for paying over $100 for a two person meal. We both ordered the steak and shrimp dinner and we were greeted with under cooked steaks, very dry rolls, and shrimp that was so mushy it literally fell off the tails when picked up. To add to it all, none of the food felt freshly prepared, as everything was just warm at best. I wish i had pictures from this adorable local tea room!!! It's amazing! I was hired by a customer who was hosting her daughter's unicorn birthday there in the private room to Facepaint. It is one of the most unique little stops we have here in Moore. It's right next to Showplace Market so you can hop over there and find some cute home decor, unique boutique clothes or jewelry or some cool local jams, salsas or just local handmade goods! We love this little corner right off 19th! The food at Nosh was so tasty, we can't wait to go back for more! read more

This is a nice little find on the east side of Moore! We were looking for a brunch spot, and decided to give it a try. Got the Migas and Chicken and Waffles. Both were good! They don't have a very extensive menu (which didn't bother us), but if you have particular eaters you might wanna check out the menu ahead of time. The lunch menu also looks really good, so I need to get back to try that. Overall, it's a nice cafe with very fair prices and great service! read more
