Everything was outstanding beginning with a pleasant greeting as we entered and being seated immediately. Although busy the restaurant was not noisy and the seating was very comfortable. Our server was Caden H. and he was incredibly personable and took time to chat with us! Caden was one of the best servers we have ever encountered. We both had the rainbow trout special, grilled; my wife had the glazed carrots and I had the corn; everything was delicious! In addition the team work of the staff was amazing from refilling drinks, checking on use, delivering food and taking away plates. Took my mom out for a mother/daughter date, and it turned horrible while here. We started with the spinach and artichoke dip, and it was the best thing we had. My mother's coffee was barely warm, so we asked her to warm it in the microwave. We then got our entrees. Mom got potato soup and it had to be put in the microwave. I got the baby back ribs with french fries and baked beans. Do not waste your money. The baked beans was more like chili. There was so much chili powder in it that I got sick. No refills. The server knocked my straw out of my cup, and said, "I knocked your straw out, and I don't want to touch it." This was the worst experience we have ever had here. I will not be back. read more

We so appreciate the consistent quality! That's the main reason we continue to say Charleston's is one of our family favorites... We don't have to worry about whether or not everyone will be happy with their order one time and the next think it's not so great... We kind of think of them as the gold standard for a great dining experience every time. I came solo and decided to order the smoked salmon with a side Caesar Salad. The salad was amazing. It had a kick to it and I enjoyed the butter croissant it was paired with. I went with the smoked salmon as my main entree. Also delicious. The side mushrooms were good but I should have gone with something different. It just did not pair as well with the salmon but that's on me. Service was quick and friendly. The waitress kept checking up on me. I came hungry and left full. Loved my meal of choice! read more

We have been to Charleston's so many times, but we haven't been to this location in years. Everything was spot on! The service was great. The atmosphere was relaxed and intimate. And the food was delicious. We started with the cheese fries, which are no longer in the menu, but they will make them upon request. The fries were perfect with just the right toppings. Graduation weekend we made a reservation to dine at the Ed Noble Parkway location of Charlestons months in advance- glad we did! Place was packed with many large tables and an active environment. Started in the bar, large enuff to dine in but it doesn't lose its intimacy bc of size. Once assembled we went to our table Our wait staff was excellent and our waitress Dani was outstanding. We started with a double order of dynamite shrimp and the spinach dip. The spinach dip flew off the table - no chance to try but the dynamite shrimp was a 5. Sweet , spicey , served hot but not overcooked and served over a bed of delicious slaw made of snap peas /carrots/bean sprouts- outstanding! Entrees, chicken piccatta 4 star, filet mignon topped with blue cheese crumbles, rainbow trout. I had the double pork chop "blackened " never had porkchops this way and recommended by our server - fantastic! Dessert included a slice of carrot cake the size of a meatloaf and key lime pie . The atmosphere is really warm and clean, and the staff is actually attentive without being annoying. I've been to a lot of places in Norman and this one is definitely at the top of the list. We've been coming this location for years now. And we frequently come here. But I have to say they aren't the same quality as they once were. We had fish that was over cooked. In the past, if there was anything wrong with our food, a manager would always come talk to us. It always made us feel as if they cared about our experience. Today wasn't that way. The waiter was nice but when we told him our fish was over cooked, he didn't apologize. Just asked if we want to order something different. We said no we'd just like the fish to be cooked correctly. Then I guess it was a manager that brought the new fish but didn't say a word except "for here you go." And the recooked fish was raw in the middle. The carrots were over cooked too. Idk what's going on here. I hope they get back to their consistency and return to the caring professionalism we have come accustomed to with Charlestons. read more

My family ordered takeout from Charleston's one evening while I was visiting the area, so I wasn't sure what to expect. The food was prepared on time and arrived very fresh, which was a great start. I ordered the Dynamite Shrimp Salad, and it was incredible--packed with flavor and perfectly portioned. It even came with a croissant on the side, which was decent, though not particularly memorable. Overall, the meal was a hit, and the rest of my family enjoyed their food as well. I'd definitely love to try Charleston's again, whether for takeout or dining in. This place was amazing. I forgot to get a picture of the salad but it was fresh with a house made ranch that was delicious. It also came with a small croissant and just a drizzle of honey which I love. Many places over due the honey and it takes away from the buttery flavor of the croissant but this didn't. The pork chops were cooked absolutely perfect. Very tender and juicy with an amazing flavor. They were great size portions. The baked beans were also very good. Had a smoky flavor and I'm not sure but I'd bet there was some smoked meat in them so they had almost like a chili flavor. The key lime pie was delightful. The sweet whipped cream and crust balanced the spur of the pie very week so neither flavor overpowered the other. The service was top notch. Just minor mix up on the receipts but we had a party of 8 with all separate receipts and we ordered like we were together so no big deal. They fixed it no problem. Never had to wait in anything and the staff were all great. Ambience was very good. Comfortable seating and didn't feel crowded. Noise was normal. Overall. Prices were a little better than average, but above average when considering the quality of the food. Service was great. Atmosphere great. Great place for a fun night out or even something special. Celebrated my mom's 90th birthday. Staff were very accommodating and efficient. We always enjoy this place.

I have been eating Charleston's food for many years - usually as a pickup or delivery. We like to get it on Sunday night and enjoy a good dinner and a movie. My favorite is the Walt's Champagne Salad. It has been disappointing the last few times but tonight was ridiculous. First - it's a salad - that usually means lettuce. This had less that a cup. It was soggy pale wilted, not at all fresh. There was so much water in my container I had to drain it It usually has several strawberries - there was 1 - quartered, 2 (maybe) dates chopped up, a few tiny pecan pieces, a tiny dab of feta, few sad croutons. The whole thing weighed maybe 8 oz. for over $20.00 Why is it when the prices keep going up tremendously - the quality keeps going down. If I am willing to pay for it why can't you give me the same product I love and expect? I think that will be my last I can and have made the same salad at home. My husband's fish tacos weren't much better. - small, rice and beans maybe half a cup for $20+. read more

We sat in the bar area. Genius. No waiting! Big comfy booths were great after a long day at work. I don't even remember what my friends ordered, but they loved it. I had the roasted chicken, with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots. Got my wish. Pure delicious comfort food. I tried the mashed potatoes first. Perfection. Glazed carrots were amazing.
