We ordered chips and queso, fried cheese curds and potato skins. All three appetizers were good but without the wow factor. Just good solid offerings. For our mains I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. It was good, but not exceptional. Reed ordered the bacon cheese burger and said it was very good. Jan ordered the french dip and said it was very good. Kris ordered the club with fries and said it was OK. Loved the patio setting and experience. The service was average. The salad has parmesan crisps that were a pleasant surprise. A huge upgrade over croutons. The wontons are light and flavorful. They offer brunch from 10-2 on weekends and after reading the menu descriptions we returned on Sunday to try the Okie Bennie and the Rancheros. The crispy potatoes are awesome. Skin on, seasoned and a great addition to both dishes. The verde sauce on the Rancheros was delicious, the carnitas was tender. A great breakfast bowl. The Okie Bennie was very good. Easy to get a bite of egg, chicken and biscuit on your fork. We finished the meal sharing the sweet potato cheesecake. Our server on Sunday was Matthew. The Winston is worth the wait. Weather permitting, the outdoor patio is a good option.

It sees like a nice pub one could bring the whole family to. I get thoughts of "Shenanigans" from the movie super troopers when I come here. Got the Sweet Oklahoma and have to say it's one of the best burgers I've ever had. The cream cheese and sweet jalapeño relish gave it a great flavor and were not spicy. Also had onion rings and while I like a good amount of salt in the breading I will say the salt in these bordered on being overpowering. Maybe back off a hair. The wife got a Theta and enjoyed it. One of my girls tried the Jalapeño Popper Grilled Cheese and was pleasantly surprised (I also tried a bite of it and thought it was good). The other girl just had chips and queso and said they were solid. Both girls also had Garlic Parm Fries and liked them. We will definitely add this place back to a regular option for burgers.

There's a large outdoor space with picnic tables and huge indoor space. The staff was great, one gentleman in particular who was getting things set up for a private party. As I mentioned, we chose to come to The Standard specifically because they had actual food (vs just snack food like many breweries). Unfortunately, we arrived when the kitchen had closed to prep for the aforementioned private party. This meant a significant wait to even place an order for food. We tried to wait, but this was going to be a deal breaker for me; I was starting to feel ill from no food and beer tasting on empty stomach. Fortunately someone (owner? manager? or their best, kindest employee, I don't know), helped me out. I am so grateful. We stayed, and once the kitchen opened back up, my husband and son also ordered food -- the chicken and waffles were awesome. If we were locals, I imagine we'd enjoy many afternoons at the beer garden.
