I was very happy with my Pot Roast Pot Pie, which consisted of pot roast, carrots and potatoes topped with a flaky pie crust and served with garlic mashed potatoes. It was very rich and like comfort food. The crust was flaky and oh man it was just so delicious. Great place for lunch, tea time or breakfast. I enjoyed my time at Nosh and would recommend to friends and family. Good, but not great. I made a reservation the evening before because I assumed a cute little breakfast spot with a decent Yelp rating would be moderately busy on the weekend. I made a reservation for 10:15, 15 minutes after they open. When we arrived at our reservation time, we were the first guests there. We were seated immediately but were not asked about any kind of reservation. I decided not to bring it up because we were seated immediately, so asking seemed unnecessary. It just surprised me that it wasn't busier. It took a little time to be greeted by our server, and we were told that they were having a staffing issue. By the time our waters were brought to the table, we knew what we wanted for breakfast. Between the time we were greeted and served drinks, another table of 2 had been seated in the same section. We had ordered immediately after the drinks were served, and the table in the same section ordered after us, after about 5 minutes of looking the menu over. The reason why this table is mentioned will be explained in a second. It took over 30 minutes to be served biscuits and gravy with sausage and a French toast plate with eggs and bacon. My food seemed like it had been sitting for a minute. The gravy was forming that thin skin over the top when it has been sitting untouched. Then, I noticed that immediately after being served our breakfast, the other table was served their breakfast at the same time. I'm not sure what happened in the kitchen, but I think my food had been sitting for a while before back there. Or the order was placed at the same time, I don't know. Despite the temperature of the food, it all tasted very good. However, the bacon on the French toast plate was seriously lacking in thickness. It was compared to the type of bacon served in low quality buffets. Overall, the service is slow, and if you weren't thrilled about the atmosphere, I wouldn't blame you if you walked out. The food quality does not warrant the wait time. Our breakfast from start to finish was an hour as the first guests there. Based on other reviews here on Yelp, it seems to me that this place lacks consistency. I understand when there is a staffing issue, but they are slow even when it is not busy. read more

Gosh, where do I start. My mother & I went to Nosh for lunch on a weekday. The hostess seated us, there was only one other occupied table and looked like a meeting in the back room. We waited & waited and no one came to take our drink order so after 15 mins I signaled one of the girls at the front, they were just talking to each other. She took our drink order & I told her we were ready to order. She had a look like she'd never done that before and didn't have a clue how to do that. Food came out fairly quick and was hot & plenty. My mother ordered a pork chop dinner that evidently did not come with bread. When she asked for bread the waitress had the strangest look. She came back with a toasted Ciabatta roll and said that was all the bread they had. I was in OKC and was looking for delivery to my hotel. Of course, most were pizza joints, and I wasn't feeling pizza. I was pleasantly surprised to find Nosh, which had a scrumptious sounding grilled chicken sandwich on their menu. I placed my order through the Yelp app. In about 20 minutes, Pete from Nosh called to say that the address for my hotel was not coming up in his GPS. With the help of the front desk, we figured out that the Yelp app locator had screwed up and he was some 20 miles away! Not to be deterred, Pete said, "You ordered from us, you are expecting your food and I am going to get it to you." Sure enough, Pete showed up about a half hour later with my order in hand. Obviously the food was cold, but under the circumstances-No worries! Quick shot in the microwave and I was good to go. Chicken sandwich was great as was the tomato basil soup. Pete rocks! THE BEST pot roast I have ever had in my life! Have never eaten anything there that was not delicious. Everything is fantastic from the scrambled eggs to the dessert. The manager Kim is always offering promotions and making a good environment that makes you want to go back. Their promotions and coupons are always being handed out and really have helped us save. I have never had to eat there without some kind of deal. Portions are big even for kids meals, which is fantastic. Sunday brunch is our favorite time to go but it always is a relaxed and soothing environment. It's not just a restaurant, it's an experience. read more

From the moment you walk in the door, you feel right at home. The decor is elegant and inviting. The staff is very friendly and helpful with any and all questions you might have. the menu is very easy to understand and features lots of great choices. On our first visit, my wife had the pot roast pot pie and I had the hog legs with the daily mac as my side. Talk about impressive! The daily mac had an amazing balance of creamy cheese and noodles. The chicken was perfectly cooked and very juicy. I tried a bite of my wife's pot roast pot pie and it was full of flavor! I would definitely come back to try some of their other options. This is a really close review between 3 and 4 stars, but I ultimately went with 4 stars. I had lunch at Nosh on a Wednesday. There were around a half dozen tables seated, and a couple of more walked in while I was eating. The place is large, there is a main dining room and a smaller room to the right as you walk in. It was clean and comfortable. I was immediately approached when I walked in, seated, and brought my drink order. My server told me the mac n cheese of the day (chicken, artichoke, and spinach) and the burger of the day (Canadian bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). I perused the menu and decided to go with the "Hot Legs," which are barbecue chicken legs served with green beans, and either mashed potatoes or the mac n cheese of the day. I went with the mac n cheese, because mac n cheese. I also added a cup of the potato soup for $2. The soup arrived within a couple of minutes. It was very hot and topped with some shredded cheese and chopped bacon. It was good, seasoned well and appropriately chunky. The problem was the vessel it's served in. I found the tiny cup too small, particularly when you were trying to get a soup spoon in there. When I first put the spoon in, no matter how careful I was, soup came out over the sides of the cup. You are basically forced to eat all of the toppings in your first couple of bites in order to make room for the spoon to actually get the soup. It wasn't a very user-friendly soup cup. I really liked the soup, but I wouldn't order it this way again. Next time, I'll either get a bowl or forego the soup entirely. After finishing my soup, I waited at least 10 minutes for my entree. This can be seen as a good thing, as they were clearly making it fresh when I ordered. But, it was lunch time, not dinner, and I was on a bit of a time crunch. It didn't take so long I had to ask about it, but we were approaching that point. When the meal came out, it was a decent amount of food for $12. 3 chicken legs, a nice portion of green beans, and the mac n cheese, served in the same dreaded cup as the soup. The green beans are cooked well and seasoned properly. They still had some crunch to them, which I like. The chicken was also cooked well, hot all the way through but not overdone. Still very juicy. They are a little bit messy, but I expected that given that I ordered barbecue chicken legs. The sauce is described on the menu as "spicy." I didn't agree with this description, but it had a small amount of heat. It was more sweet, but I liked it. The mac n cheese was puzzling. It had no chicken, spinach, or artichokes, which was surprising since I thought I was getting the mac n cheese of the day. That being said, what I had was a very good mac n cheese. Corkscrew pasta with a white cheese sauce, it was seasoned very well and appropriately cheesy. I would absolutely get this again. My lunch had some highs and some lows, but overall it was good. I'll be back, the photos of brunch items look fantastic. read more

I ordered dinner from Nosh through Grubhub. It was a simple order -- a burger medium rare and chocolate cake. The cake was wonderfully filling, the sweet potato salad was to die for. Unfortunately the burger was a dry, hard, tasteless piece of shite with 'lettuce' that looked like dandelion leaves. As I said I ordered it medium rare and for ANY restaurant to destroy such beautiful meat by burning it and delivering it to me as edible deserve a 1 star. read more

I can give this place 4 stars just for how peaceful it is when you walk in, yes granted it was brunch time and half empty but that isn't the point here. Fast friendly and inviting customer service. And having a tea list alone is enough to keep me coming back. The prices are good and affordable and you get great portions for the price. And they don't over feed you like most places where you've got a ton of food to leave behind or take home. My husband got the build your own omlete, and I got the sooner French toast. The eggs in the omlete were fluffy and not over or under cooked, not salty, even the spinach in his omlete was fresh!! The French toast had hints of cinnamon and very light powdered sugar. My eggs came cooked to me exactly how I ordered them (over medium) and the bacon wasn't greasy or over salty. The tea I got green tea with lemongrass and speremint! I even got a to go cup because they give you a lot of tea, but for only $4 You can't say no!!! I'm a sucker for a tea house and it seems this one is perfect with its long list of different teas. The gentleman that served us was kind, attentive and spoke passionately about each of the entrees as well as the teas and and specialty waters. We are big fans of Nosh. Today, April 7, our party of six (6) decided an early dinner was what we were looking for. Having eaten there before and being impressed with both food and, especially, the service, in the front we strolled. Sandwiches, goat cheese and spinach salad, homemade tomato soup, the mac and cheese of the day, the after school, margarita panini, quiche and beef stew pot pie were all terrific. We finished with chocolate cake, cheesecake and beignets. Yes, that's a lot of food. Couldn't be happier with the chef. Our server, Taylor, deserves high marks as well. We have wanted to try Nosh for quite a while. It was nothing like I expected. Thought it was a bakery with some additional features. Instead, it is very serene and upscale. Extra star for decor / atmosphere. The food was fine. Not awesome, definitely not terrible. The hot tea was delicious. The children's meal was generous. Was as large as a full price meal. The server... um... nice. Mostly in the back - which added to the peace and serenity, but in the back too much. Did not ask about refills, did not bring a dessert menu. She also had a really loud and very fake sounding laugh which clashed with the atmosphere. She laughed many times. There were two occupied tables, so the place definitely wasn't packed. We had separate tickets at our table. One paid with cash (Nosh was not prepared for a cash payment over an hour after they opened), and then they billed my credit card for the ticket already paid with cash. My husband and I took my mom and dad for early mother's day lunch, and needless to say the food was not good and way overpriced. Nothing was seasoned well, and no flavor. The Mac and cheese of the day definitely had leftover chicken meat in it, and the best part of it was the siracha sauce-the portion was small. The salads were blah; barely a small slice of onion. Decided to meet a friend for lunch on a Saturday afternoon and there was only one other party around noon. Service was pretty slow considering... but once we got our food, we were surprisingly impressed. The daily Mac was super tasty. However, my biggest issue with this place is that the menu indicated that a side or salad was included. I don't eat salad, so she suggested soup, which I ordered. When I got my tab, it was about $20 for a soda, Mac, and soup. I asked the waitress about it and she said that the soup was indeed not included. I would not have ordered it had I known it was an additional charge. $20 is really expensive for one person to eat lunch. read more

I really do not like this place. I went for a small staff get together one evening. Our food took 50 minutes to come out and the place wasn't even busy. All I got was a chicken sandwich. It was just okay. Nosh also catered one of our staff events. The sandwiches they provided looked and tasted like some ordinary sliced wheat bread from the grocery store and some Oscar Myer packaged lunch meat slapped together. I could have made better sandwiches. The extremely long wait time, poor service, mediocre food, and decor that looks like a little girls tea party fantasy did not impress me. read more
