Western Burger
Keisha G.

Small town diner with a Big taste! Delicious homemade fries made to order along with our burgers. Great small town diner feel right in the heart of Bethany. Waitstaff is friendly and our food was prepped fresh to order.

Regular big breakfast with three pieces of bacon home fries and scrambled eggs $6.99. They charge extra for coffee.

This little café is one of my favorite places to eat out for a casual meal. The western burger is so delicious, try it with their homemade potato chips! If you are ordering a breakfast that does not include bacon it will not be considered as a choice for 1 of the 2 sides for any other menu item although it is listed on the menu under sides. I enjoy the veggie omelette and then purchase the bacon separately along with my two sides. Also-Regular big breakfast with three pieces of bacon home fries and scrambled eggs $6.99 (photo). They charge extra for coffee. Cook knows how to make crispy bacon and the home fries have onions and peppers. They also offer a breakfast special for $4.99 which includes bacon, eggs and pancakes. Service is usually very good, Dee is one of my favorite waitresses. Busy on Sundays. You won't regret stopping in for a bite.

The place used to great. New ownership....all my favorites from the menu are gone. Now just another Mexican place that is just average.

Interurban - Salmon wedge salad as it arrived at my table; before it returned to the kitchen to fix underdone salmon

Onion dip was good. I had a chicken meal, one had a hamburger, one chicken Mac n cheese. All ok but nothing to write home about. So now service, not to good. We had to try to get refills. We were empty for quite awhile. I think the Bread Pudding was definitely the winner. Warm with plenty of sauce. That's the reason We may try them again.

Our server was attentive and responded to our requests promptly. I found the Tuesday burger special tempting, but I opted for the salmon wedge salad. This was an uneven dish. On the positive side, the parmesan vinaigrette dressing was delicious! It went well with the crisp lettuce, red onion bits, and grilled salmon. On the negative side, my salmon was undercooked and there was less lettuce than in the picture of this salad in the menu. I asked our server to fix the salmon. She said that she would show it to her manager and make it right. My salmon returned to the table with darker grill marks and cooked well done. I was satisfied with this solution. I didn't pay for the bill, so I don't know if we were also comped for this problem. I didn't bring up the lack of lettuce since the portion I received was enough for me on the day that I visited. This visit confirmed for me that Interurban sits on par with Charleston's in the OKC metro restaurant space. They offer a menu of American classics prepared with care and enough variety that most people can find something to eat from this menu. It's not edgy or innovative, but it's not trying to be those things.

Redrock Canyon Grill - Lake Hefner…read more First visit--and I can confidently say this place just earned a spot in our regular date night rotation. We walked in to a packed house, which is always a good sign, but were seated immediately. From there, the experience never missed a beat. Beverly took care of us and was outstanding--friendly, attentive, and genuinely engaged. You can tell when someone enjoys what they do, and it shows. We started with margaritas, and when Beverly said they were "perfect," she wasn't overselling it. Smooth, well-balanced, and served ice cold. We're both olive fans, so of course we asked for extras--and they delivered without hesitation. Going in, we made a deal: appetizers or dessert--not both. After hearing about the pineapple upside-down cake with vanilla ice cream, that decision was made pretty quickly. For the main course, Beverly walked us through the menu and the weekly specials: * Rainbow trout with roasted peppers and cucumber salad * 14 oz peppercorn crusted steak with mashed potatoes, broccoli & parmesan I know my wife--steak was the obvious choice for her. I went with the trout. Both dishes were excellent. The trout was cooked perfectly with a light, flavorful sauce that didn't overpower the fish, and the vegetables were fresh and well-prepared. The steak was cooked just right, full of flavor, and paired perfectly with creamy mashed potatoes and broccoli finished with parmesan. What really elevated the night was the hospitality. Kirsten, the manager, stopped by to check on us and took the time to have a genuine conversation. She shared details about patio seating and upcoming live music nights, which we're already planning to come back for. Then came a surprise--she graciously covered our dessert. A classy move that didn't go unnoticed. And that pineapple upside-down cake? Warm, soft, topped with melting vanilla ice cream... absolutely worth skipping the appetizers for. The Bottom Line: Great food, exceptional service, and a relaxed but polished atmosphere right on Lake Hefner. Whether it's your first visit or your tenth, this is the kind of place that makes you want to come back. Highly recommend for a date night or a nice evening out.
