    Ribs and fries

This is some good bbq! I got the ribs with the apple habanero sauce. The ribs are flavorful and have a nice smoky flavor. The fries are also crisp and good! The service was good but if you come in on a weekend, be prepared to wait in a line. The line does move fast though. I think this would be a great laid back lunch spot!

The staff are amazing! We had a larger party and they took excellent care of us. The food was terrific. We ordered ribs, chop, nachos, and I even got a turkey leg to go with collard greens and macaroni and cheese.

This place on Sunday evening is a total vibe! The dj is rocking and everyone is having a great time! The dranks is flowing and it's a cool time. I'm not fond of the smoked wings, they were either dry or under smoked. I do love the fried fish, greens, and cornbread. I got a side of honey lemon pepper and it set my food off!! 10000/10 would recommend. The service was nice. I've had other food before and it was just okay. But I definitely recommend the fish, greens, and okra!

I'm BACK. They have something new, a stuffed Turkey leg. So, you know, I had to come through and try it.That stuff turkey leg was amazing! Super tender, juicy, and full of smoky flavor. It fell right off the bone -- definitely worth it if you're craving something hearty and delicious! The service is always good when we go there.

Just go! We got the Dirty Catfish and the ribs EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC. The first bite of the dirty rice had me sold. I'm not sure what they do to it but it's amazing I'll take 15 of them. The service was great food came out quick and the ladies working the food were pleasant . Will def come back when we're in OKC.

Heard so much about the Hank sauce and had to come to try it out. It was surprisingly good. I only got fries which were fresh and seasoned perfectly. I will be back to try more. Only giving it 4 stars because it took 40 mins just for a basket of fries. The sweet tea is on point too! Really big plenty of seating!

We went after a baseball game on a Sunday. They were out of a lot of barbque but the fried catfish was very good! The okra was crispy and the brisket nachos were good! It does take a while to get your food and if you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you! Go check them okuy!

went for sunday brunch, food was tasty, idk if it was worth $30+. Service here is always ebb and flow. This time we were told there was a 15-20 minute wait to order... they hadnt been opened more than 1-2 hours for the day so I was super confused. Brunch patio vibes were fun!

Was in town from Dallas to celebrate the amazing life of Carl F. Kemp Sr. Hanks in Oklahoma City is a must-visit Black-owned spot. The catfish was perfectly seasoned and fried just right--crispy on the outside and tender inside. The BBQ brisket sandwich was flavorful and smoky, and the sides sealed the deal. The mac and cheese was creamy, the baked beans were rich, and the fried okra was fresh and crispy. Great food, great portions, and a place I'll definitely be coming back to.

Best Mac n Cheese along with the bbq and greens. Bartenders are exceptional with service with a smile.

The turkey leg was dried out; fish overcooked and the worst greens I've had. Overpriced for the quality of food

With plenty of seating indoors and out, we had no problems finding a table to accommodate our party of three. I ordered an iced vanilla cinnamon latte that was smooth and creamy, and to go with it the raspberry almond bow croissant. First off, the bow shape is adorable! Filled with raspberry - almond filling and dusted with powdered sugar, the croissants flaky outer layers and doughy inside was the perfect pair to my latte!

The sandwich was made with fresh bread, quality Italian meats and toppings, and had great flavor throughout. The ordering process was simple, and the food came out quickly with a buzzer system that lets you know when it's ready for pickup. The reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 has more to do with the dining experience than the food itself. The dining area felt pretty warm during my visit. I'm not sure if it was because of the heat outside or if the AC wasn't keeping up, but it was noticeable. There was also a fly flying around while I was eating. Another small issue was the water station. Water is self-serve, which is fine, but the cups provided are extremely small, so I found myself getting refills multiple times. The restaurant is also largely self-service, from picking up your food to cleaning up after yourself. That said, the sandwich itself was excellent. Prices are on the premium side, but honestly not out of line with what places like Subway or City Bites charge these days. The quality of the food was very good, and I'd definitely come back for another sandwich.

It feels a little upscale but not in a way that makes you feel underdressed if you show up in jeans. The staff was super sweet, and our server made great recommendations. I ordered the chicken fried steak, and it was SO good. The portion was huge, and the gravy was chef's kiss. Also, can we talk about the bread for a second? Because I would genuinely go back just for that. I kept telling myself "one more piece" and then suddenly half the basket was gone. The only reason it's getting 4 stars instead of 5 is because the wait for our food felt a little longer than expected. Nothing crazy, but by the time it arrived, we were definitely checking the kitchen door every few minutes lol. Other than that, everything was great. The food was comforting, the atmosphere was nice, and it felt like one of those places that's perfect for catching up with friends or taking your parents when they're in town. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite OKC spots. Next mission: trying the brunch because everyone keeps talking about it.

I ordered the Cuban panini with a side of Parmesan-encrusted button mushrooms. It's so hard to find anything close to Cuban bread, but this wasn't bad, and the panini was toasted nicely. There's only one problem: This isn't a Cuban sandwich. It's ham and turkey with pickles. I'll point the finger at myself for not looking at the menu closer. A Cuban HAS to be roast pork and ham, and the meat shouldn't be cold. I know this isn't Miami, but stop trying to pass this off as something it's not. As for the Parmesan-encrusted mushrooms, you might expect some bit of crust or breading with Parmesan. Nope. These were sautéed mushrooms with a glop of Parmesan (not entirely sure it wasn't Swiss) in the middle. If you wanted both, you had to get a mushroom, then bite off a bit of the no longer melted cheese. I'm not going to tell anyone not to come here. As ham and turkey paninis go, it was OK. But I can't help but think if they're trying to pass things off as something they're not, what else might not be as it seems?
