Everything was really good! The baked potato was soft and the brisket was so tender the slices just fell apart. The okra was perfectly crisp with a thick batter. Ribs were fall-of-the-bone tender. Great food there. They close fairly early and are closed on a weekday but I can't remember which one.

Ok I am not normally pleasantly surprised with places, but this is an exception. Orders the lb of brisket with steak fries and a side of onion rings... But this is the largest order of fries I have ever seen and they are hot fresh and really good... The brisket is thick sliced and the hot bbq sauce is really good too. This place is up there with the top bbq places I have ever been. Probably the best. There is one place in Dallas a friend and I go when we.are there, that is only tied with this place on sentimental value. I have a new favorite bbq stop while on the road. read more

Spent $150 on 3 meats Chicken, brisket and polish sausage. When I ordered it two days prior I the chicken and brisket is sliced which is exactly what I wanted. The chicken and brisket looked like left overs from the night before and was chopped so fine they both looked spam. Unfortunately my father's 80th birthday was close to starting and I didn't check it or I wouldn't have taken it. This place was so great when they opened but whoever runs it now has no business in the BBQ business. read more

We stopped and got this on our way home from a trip. I was very disappointed with it, and I expected more for the price that we paid. All of the meat we got (ribs, turkey, brisket, pulled pork, smoked sausage, and chicken) were very dry and did not have a lot of flavor. The best side item that we got out of potato salad, baked beans, and fried okra, was the fried okra. The sauce flavor was ok. This place is a hidden gem. It's good BBQ, friendly service and decent prices. The ranch and fries are amazing, ribs have been consistently good, brisket is tender and moist and the turkey dipped in ranch is heavenly. I will say our thanksgiving turkey was slightly less impressive but we know that's not a typical meal. I'd recommend trying to hit bbq sauce as it isn't very hot but has a nice black pepper and smokey flavor. read more

Found a BBQ place to eat while stopping for the night after driving all day. Steve's hit it out of the park. We had brisket, okra, baked potato, steak fries and green beans. First the negative, the green beans need some flavor, maybe add some onions and pork. Now the rest, the sandwich comes with a lot of meat, I added the slaw and it was pretty good, steak fries hit the spot and the fried okra wow! There were four staff working the counter and they were hustling! They were also professional, apologetic and kind & really worked well together. We had a loaded spud with turkey and side salad. I used to patronize Steve's at Santa Fe an 2nd and then tried the new one on Second. Was not pleased there and after about three years while shopping at Sam's I tried the one there. Well, I was not too pleased there either. The sliced brisket was chunks (cold) between buns. Not how I expected sliced brisket. The beans were overly tomatoey and sweet. The coleslaw and tea were good. The brisket was sort of like cardboard. Gave it a try but no more. My companion had pulled pork which she said was not bad but same plaint on the beans. read more

I am very happy to see that Steve's Rib will have a second location. This location is just off of I-35 next to the Sam's in the new edmond development off Frontage road. This location is a little smaller than the restaurant however that same good Steve's ribs that you're used too would not be shy of the original BBQ favorites. I love Steve's Rib. read more

Pretty disappointed. Was really craving ribs and this place on i-35 frontage road is right by my house. I had never tried them before so thought I would give them a go. A rack of ribs was $27. When I picked up the food they gave me the ribs wrapped in foil. Immediately something was off, it was light and very small. I clarified that I ordered a full rack of ribs and not a half rack. They assured me it was a full rack. I took them home and it was the smallest rack of ribs I had never seen in my life. I had to cook something else at home in order for my wife and I to have enough food. Not only was the rack small (about what a half rack at billy sims or some place similar would be) but the quality of meat was very bad. Barely anything on the bone. A waste of 27 dollars. In fact, that's probably why they asked for payment before getting the food from the kitchen. If I would have seen the food before paying I would not have paid. Do not get ribs from this place. read more

We went to the new Steve's Rib location on the 35 frontage road next to Sam's club. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I got the 2 meat, the brisket was very good and the rib fell off the bone with out being dry, pretty good. I am sure we will go back again. read more
