What an incredible spot for some great...yes I said GREAT BBQ! The staff is all extremely friendly and the outdoor seating really makes the whole thing feel a bit like a picnic or tailgate. I tried Sharp's a few days ago and unfortunately they were sold out of the meats I wanted to try. I wasn't bothered because that was a good indicator that people liked it. I got the 1/2 slab of ribs and a pulled pork slider. The ribs were tender and had a great smoky taste. They were cut perfectly. They come with two slices of bread, pickles and onions on the side. Actually really great BBQ...beans are always a little spicy. I've had hot links, brisket and turkey and all have been very moist and flavorful. They do tend to sellout early and keep some short hours but once you plan around their schedule it's great. Highly recommend! read more

I finally tried this place. The BBQ was great, and the spicy baked beans. Had a rib dinner and pulled pork sandwich. All of it was good. You order from a window then wait for your name. It is outside seating only, at picnic tables under a covered area. There was a friendly lady taking soda or beer orders, and she would bring it to you while you stood in line waiting to order. The kitchen staff making and serving your food out of the window were friendly. Laid back place, family feel, and was pretty busy for lunch on a Saturday. I will be back. Had it (smoked chicken) at an event...and knew I needed to swing by and pick some up on the way home from work. ...The order was placed over the phone and picked up at the window... The food was prepped hot and pretty quick. Got it home and accurate and also Yummo. The flavors were packed in the to-go boxes... the pulled pork wildcat sandwich was so tasty... I devoured it. The bacon wrapped sausage was a big hit from my daughter's perspective. The boss had brisket from the 3 meat combo of that and chicken and hot link or sausage. The slaw was thumbs up... I am a big fan of the spicy baked beans it was loaded with flavor!! Everything I ate I can say was pretty delicious so 5 stars they get from me. The staff is friendly & efficient as well. This was the worst bbq I have ever paid for... I ordered 3 sliced brisket sandwiches and what you get definitely doesn't look like the pictures. It's nothing, but fatty meat that is disgusting. I mean, just take a look at the pictures and it speaks for itself. I don't know where the other reviewers got their sliced brisket they posted, but there's no way it was from here. When I tried to call about it at 6:47pm they were already closed, so I just threw it in the trash. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! read more

Not only is this outstanding smoked meat it is an outrageous bargain. I bought the Piedmont Windmill which has multiple meats and three sides. SHARP'S IS OUR NEW FAVORITE BBQ PLACE! It was my birthday (June 29th) and I didn't want to get OUT in 100-degree weather. Since we've wanted to try Sharp's and the local grocer really doesn't do good ribs at all, this was the time to try Sharps! I called ahead and Lauren answered my many questions and took my order. 1 full rack of ribs and brisket. Half reg and half spicy BBQ Sauce. WOW! We were NOT disappointed! Ribs came off the bone easily exactly the way I like them! Who needs BBQ Sauce! But since another review said, "It was so good you could drink it", we gave it a try! They were right! Spicy is rather mild for me but you know the heat is there. Exceptional sauces! Brisket was so tender that 4 slices to a lb (equates to a 1/4 lb burger) of pure meat so tender that it cannot and I repeat CANNOT be removed from the container without it falling apart. Piedmont has limited selections, and I do love me some BBQ so this is a perfect match. I was really skeptical before trying but this is pretty decent BBQ! I can't come up with anything to tell you keep you from trying Sharp's out for yourself. I've had it a few times now, and the brisket is really good, the ribs are decent, the pulled pork makes a good sandwich, service is fairly quick and prices are pretty reasonable. Probably nothing you'll say is the best you've ever had but certainly solid all the way around. At this point I have not tried any sides, as any of you know who read my reviews, this shouldn't surprise you. And even if I had tried the sides I never make a review of BBQ that takes sides into account much.They are open Friday, Saturday and Sundays and they do take plastic. Both the regular sauce and hot are pretty decent but if I had one small complaint, they don't give you enough sauce in large orders. But that's a pretty minor thing, just ask for extra if you want it. All in all, if you are in or around Piedmont and want some BBQ, I don't think you could go wrong with Sharp's. read more

I was told that this place made exceptional brisket. My wife and I drove from Edmond in anticipation of having a good experience. What we ended up is having what I believe is the best brisket we have had in Oklahoma.. I also ordered a rack of ribs and they too were delicious .. may more seasoning on the ribs would be aplus but their sauces do the job of getting your spice fix.
