I love a place with a veggie plate entree! I ordered online and the process was quick and easy. The prices are very reasonable too. Once you order, you just pull up to the curbside parking and let them know you're there or use the link they send you in a text message. The staff were friendly and quick with bringing my order out. Everything was well package and labeled. The honey butter croissants were amazing! Everything else was just ok. The veggie plate was a salad plus 4 sides which is almost too much. The salad was good, I liked all the egg. The corn was too salty for my taste, and the broccoli cheese casserole was a little too bland. My mom liked the chicken fried chicken and the garlic toast, but wasn't a fan of the gravy it came with. My brother is a fan of their spasagna but I don't see that on the menu anymore. My wife and I were invited to Cheddars and we were excited to go. It had been awhile since our last visit so we were looking forward to it. Upon arrival, my wife decided to try the beer battered fish. It arrived but the breading was very thin and appeared to be another type of breading. We mentioned this to the server. She offered to get us something else. My wife was pretty happy about this because she saw that the salmon on the menu indicated that you could have it cooked to temperature. My wife stated medium rare to the server and said just searing it on both sides should be adequate. The salmon came to our table missing the glaze that was described on the menu and had been well done. My wife did enjoy the sides but the server took the salmon back after asking if something was wrong with it. The server stated she thought searing it meant cooked all the way. We were charged for the uneaten fish but we paid it since she ate the rice and broccoli which she enjoyed. I did speak with the manager and advised that the staff might be unaware that fish can be ordered at different temperatures and not just, "cooked all the way". read more

We've been to this location a few times, and service has always been wonderful. I tried the Chicken Pot Pie and probably wouldn't get again. It is hearty but it wasn't outstanding, I've had a better frozen one. It came with a salad and I tried the Honey Lime dressing and this was SO good, you have to try that instead of your regular ranch or bleu cheese. My boyfriend got the Dijon Chicken and this was very tasty - the sauce is delicious and the chicken was juicy. It comes with two sides. I have never had bad service when I visit Cheddars. Staff in the bar area are always friendly and attentive enough to not be annoying offering just the right balance. Since I always go to the bar area, I breezed past the hostess not knowing that she needed to see us first for seating in the bar area. She was starting to seat a couple in the main dining area and I hated to bother her to let her know we were going to the bar. After a couple of minutes the hostess brought us menus which is when I realized that maybe I was to be seated? I asked and she was super friendly am saying yes but it was no big deal as I apologized profusely for breezing past her. With it being later in the afternoon, seating is not self service. Kudos to the hostess for being friendly and bring us menus. I am trying to not be that annoying customer to restaurant employees because COVID-19 has not produced the kindest customers. We started off with two painkillers and their honey butter croissants. The painkillers were wonderful. A wonderful beachy drink on a mild December day makes things a little better. The croissants were warm and the butter melted was so good. I had the chicken tenders with their hot honey on the side. The flavor from the hot honey was nicely balanced with the heat. There were so many tenders I had to have a box to take the rest home. My lady had the Buffalo chicken wrap. It's her favorite because it has slaw and pickles inside! I went there on a Friday evening. The place was somewhat busy but we got to sit down within 10 min of waiting. We order couple cocktails and the syrup they used was way too thick dripping all outside the cups and it was super sticky. We ordered the Wisconsin cheese bites, they weren't even hot when they reached the table. We ordered our food country fried chicken and the ribeye steak and like before our food came cold and late. We didn't have time so we ate couple bites and got the rest to go. The side of corn is supposed to be corn on the cob but it was like corn cornels without any salt or butter. The steak also didn't have any salt or pepper. As the picture shows the chicken was fried with plastic that we noticed after taking home. When we were getting up the lady who's supposed to be cleaning the table, came by the table and stood with her arms crossed and glaring at us as if we were taking too long. The waitress was pleasant and provided a detailed review of the menu to assist with the selections. Croissants were provided and were great as an appetizer. Next I selected the White Blackened fish with a bed of rice and two sides that included cole slaw and mashed potatoes. The meal was very enjoyable the fish was light and just a kick of spice. The rice was cooked well and not hard and complimented the fish. The cole slaw and mash potatoes were a great side choices. If you love fish it is a must try! There are tons of other selections that are sure to be a hit. Prices are very reasonable so be sure to bring the entire family. Solid addition to Greenwood's (yeah, I know, it's technically Indianapolis) already saturated chain restaurant landscape. Fortunately it's a smaller chain and has really good selections. The big draw here for my family is the buttered croissants - akin to Texas Roadhouse rolls, our family is drawn to Cheddar's for this appetizer/side item. The entree offerings are solid and a little different from most other chains -- highlights that I've had are the Monte Cristo (fried ham and cheese with jelly... if you haven't had it, just give it a shot), chicken and waffles, and a maple bacon chicken sandwich I had on this last visit. However I can confirm that Better Than Mom's Meatloaf is not in fact better than my mom's meatloaf, or any meatloaf. I do not recommend that entree at all. As far as sides, definitely get the broccoli cheddar casserole or the macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese uses the big spiral noodles (cellantani, I believe) and not your usual elbow macaroni. We received Cold bread when we was first seated, ordered the food and in the middle of it, someone set off the fire alarm lmao. While the waiter was pleasant and the food delivered timely considering our large party, my dinner choice was sub par. The croissants are heavenly and the saving grace of my meal. I ordered a 6 oz sirloin, medium temperature, a loaded baked potato with southern style green beans. My steak was well done, the potato was a 3 inch diameter ball with shredded cheese and a dollop of sour cream. It was a disappointing meal for me. My husband had grilled chicken Alfredo and said it was good. I would have liked to give a positive review on this restaurant that always seems to be busy. You can never go wrong at cheddars. They have cheap drinks and the food is reasonable. I had the island tiki it's a favorite drink there it's so sweet you can't taste the alcohol. I decided to try a new drink on the menu the pineapple coconut mule. If you a fan of Moscow mule then you would love it. They were pretty busy the day i went to when my food came out it was cold but my waiter was nice enough to bring out a warm meal. I make honey hot tenders all the time at home it's just something about their that I have to order them every time i visit. This might just be the best #montecristo sandwich I've had. Turkey, ham and cheeses basically encased in deep fried dough with a side of raspberry sauce. Last night at Cheddar's for my nephews birthday. 1st off my sister was concerned because no one had hairnet on. Things was okay in the beginning, croissant was good and fresh but when my salad comes out I'm cutting up as always that I do and here I see hair in my salad, it not my hair I don't have any hair when the waiter come out I let him know he took the plate & didn't ask if I could replace the salad with anything else, or even bring to boss out. So I haven't been back to Cheddars "Scratch" Kitchen since my last review 3 years ago. Well this evening my hubby chose Cheddar's since we never go there. Against my better judgement I agreed because we usually go where I want to go. I ordered the Key West chicken and shrimp with carrots and coke slaw and hubby had a club sandwich. For an appetizer we had cheese curds. The service was great and refills kept coming. The decor is nice...but I have no idea how this place stays busy all the time. Everything tastes like it was just unthawed and fried. Their ingredients are sub-par. My chicken and shrimp came with pineapple salsa and it was made with canned chunk pineapple (disgusting) the cheese curds were for sure dropped out of a freezer box into the fryer and I couldn't even eat the rubbery shrimp. Hubby's club was made with what looked like lunch meat out of a budding package. The only good thing I had were the free croissants. I gave them 2 stars for the service and the croissants. Looks like hubby will have to go solo next time he wants Cheddars. read more

The servers are almost always really chill. Ruby is by far the best server I've had, cannot convey in a simple review how great she is as a server and how considerate she is. You'd think you were eating at a 3 Michelin star joint instead of a sister restaurant to Olive Garden. I frequent this establishment because I drive past County Line Rd. pretty often. It's right next to a Kroger, a car wash, and is across from Point Blank & a Walmart Super Center. For anyone that drives past Greenwood, this place could not be more convenient right off I-65. Pro Tip - The bar is open seating, seats are usually available at the bar counter even when there is an hour wait for a dining table. Haven't been here in a while and I know why now. Last night we went here to celebrate my sons birthday and I have to say we may never go back however the food was great but the Service sucked! The waiter forgot our free chips and cheese until we reminded him twice and he never offered refills at all the place was less than busy too! She brought the food 30+ minutes after we ordered. A steak was overcooked. The chicken, burger, and macaroni and cheese was cold. The baked potato was made incorrectly. They took some of the meals off and the server was polite about it. It was disappointing to have so many meal issues. We waited close to 10 minutes for our checks. While I feel for the server when it came to the quality of the meals, I feel the service could have been better and more attention could have been paid to the table. We were seated right away and our waitress came over and took our drink order which came out quickly. We then ordered appetizers and our meals. The appetizers came out quickly. After we finished those the food took a little longer than I expected but it was t horribly long. Our waitress did come give us refills once but after our food came out we hardly saw her again. Not until she walked by and literally threw the check at us then immediately walked away. We needed boxes for leftovers and would have considered getting dessert had she asked. I also had a coupon I needed her to take off the check which we had informed her about when ordering. After waiting quite a while and our waitress walking by and helping all the tables around us while completely ignoring us, we finally got a manager to come over and take the coupon and bring us containers for our leftovers.
