Was at Louvino for my sons company Christmas dinner. We had the whole upper space which I guess is where they host events or large groups. We had appetizers of beef sliders, crab cakes and hash browns. I could have gorged myself on the hash browns and crab cakes. The sliders were a bit dry and cooked unevenly from one to the next. I got o e that was cooked through and my son got one that was very pink in the middle. The main meal was side salad followed by steak or seafood with mashed potatoes. And for dessert there were chocolate chip beignets. Dinner was good though everyone comment on how small the portions were. I tried one piece of the dessert and left it to others at the table to finish as it wasn't for me. Definitely a place I would eat again though.

Wow, this place was great. I stopped by here tonight with my future sister-in-law, I am in town for business and she lives about 30 minutes away. We were going to go to a Thai place down the street but unfortunately it was closed, and we passed by this place and it looked good. On Tuesdays they do a $25 special, where you get pasta, a glass of wine, and a Caesar or house salad. She got that and I got the steak and potato dish and we split. We also shared the fried green tomatoes appetizer, which was fantastic. The waitress had asked if we had been to the restaurant before, and neither of us had; at the end of the night, she brought us a complimentary dessert because of that, which I've never seen before. Super nice. As for the main entrees, they were both delicious. The $25 pasta deal comes with a pesto pasta and the portion was great. The steak and potatoes were also very good, it comes with a rich mashed potato of sorts and a wine demi-glace sauce. I would definitely come back here again, the rest of the menu looked pretty good as well and waitservice was also great.

Great for brunch on the weekends. Full bar with great cocktail menu and wine selection. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy with a side of loaded tots. Food was fantastic and filling. Wonderful staff and inviting atmosphere. Kentucky Coffee was tasty!

Great experience!!! 1. The food was absolutely amazing! For the appetizer we had Loaded Tater Tot bites and let me just tell you they were stuffed to perfection. They were stuffed with bacon, chives, cheese & potatoes. They were soft on the inside and the perfect crispness outside. For meal we had Pancake tacos, hash brown casserole & BLT w/crispy chichi ken. 2. We tried the mimosa flights. 3 Flavors for $15 wasn't bad at all. We tried all 6 flavors and none of them disappointed. 3. The customer service was excellent! Our waitress was the bartender and she handled both accordingly. She recommended popular dishes and told us what customers loved.

    Salmon BLT and Brussels sprouts

We went for lunch as a group of 7 in their private room. We had excellent service from Will! All the food was good with a few standout items. The Salmon BLT was great, and each component was as good as the next. Crispy bacon, flavorful aioli, perfectly cooked salmon, really good sourdough. Perfect. Brussel sprouts served warm as a side were also great. We shared some stuffed tater tots and fried green tomatoes. The only slightly negative comment we had was the mustard sauce on the tomato plate was overpowering, but the tomatoes were still crispy and good. A few members of our party said the iced tea was brewed too strong, but I didn't try it. I would be interested to come back for dinner and wine, which is the really the vibe here.

Very good but there were a few things that could've been better. The vanilla doughnuts were tasty but not as light and airy as you'd hope. They were also really small (looked like fried cheese curds, not doughnuts). The Kentucky coffee was tasty. I had the chicken and waffles. Very tasty. Great waffle. The chicken was good but the breading fell off as soon as you cut into it which wasn't ideal. My father-in-law had the Brie stuffed French toast. He said it was good but wanted more Brie. There was a thin layer but it didn't come off as stuffed.

Veggie Scramble -- eggs, cheese, onions, peppers

While Lou Vino has a lovely brunch menu, they could use some attention on executing the details. We sat at the bar and Cat took great care of us! She was on top of what we needed and had great energy. She was the best part of the experience. While we had an absolutely lovely time, I was bothered by the fact that the Veggie Scramble was extremely lackluster... in presentation, creativity, and value--it was a $12 plate of two eggs tossed with a sprinkle of cheese and a few veggies. No sides. No garnish. No effort. I also thought the Salmon Power Bowl had a lot of great elements, but it felt very unbalanced. There was a lot of quinoa and farro on the plate, which felt greasy especially when mixed in with the greens, making them feel limp and heavy rather than fresh and vibrant. Overall the meal was enjoyable, but for the price point and the luxe brand and ambiance, I expect the food to be a bit more dialed in and balanced.

Had always heard amazing things about LouVino, so we stopped in to give it a try. Our server was super friendly and helpful. We started with the loaded potato tots. Those were awesome. I ended up ordering the risotto. The risotto included zucchini and corn, which I wasn't used to for a risotto. I'm not sure I loved the pairing. The shrimp and scallops were tasty and the dish was bountiful. Couldn't even finish it all. Overall I'd rate it as a very solid experience.

What a cool spot! Really upscale setting with menu items that won't break the bank. I hung out at the bar but the food menu looks amazing. The most interesting item to me is the curry chicken salad. What a good idea!

I've been here a few times. This was my first time trying the fried green tomatoes. The hashbrown casserole and biscuit were my favorite. I wasn't a fan of the pineapple upside down mimosa. I let them know it was my sisters birthday. They did offer her donut bites. But it wasn't a cute presentation to make her feel special.

Tried this place for brunch with past weekend with some friends. I had heard great thing about this place over the years. However, I was extremely underwhelmed. The biscuit board, country doughnuts and the avocado toast were really delicious. But between the breakfast plate and the veggie scrambler they didn't have much flavor or wow factor. If I were to go back, I would probably only get the biscuit board. The biscuits were freshly baked and extremely soft and delicious.

We had great service when we visited Lou Vino. Our server Jeff was very attentive and checked on us often. For me, the food is just alright. The menu for brunch is small and I find that there's not a lot to choose from. The loaded tots are my favorite! They're cheesy on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The fried chicken tacos are interesting, but overall pretty tasty. The bottom of the tortilla is filled with mashed potatoes. Then, they put a chicken tender on top and drizzle it with brown gravy and sprinkle it with cheese. They have $4 mimosas for brunch and you can choose from a few different flavors. I got the pineapple mimosa and it was so yummy!

Wine fights at Lou Vino have become a table game... it is always fun to see who selects the best flight. The Brussel Sprouts here are a personal favorite, the friend accompanying me tried a bite, said they were the best they've had and will definitely be ordering them on their next visit! Pairing sprouts with a protein is a must, so far I've had the Salmon, Shrimp and Chicken. Of the three, if asked, I would say Salmon is my favorite. Shoutout to our waitress, Elinor, for her superb recommendations, she completed the dining experience and made our overall evening amazing!

    Do they have kids menu?

I do not think so. I looked up their menus for brunch and dinner and nothing was listed. I did not see any children when we were there. They offer small plates and wine flights. There are food items on the brunch menu that may be more kid friendly.…

Are there vegan options on the menu?

yes, LouVino has a few vegan options available, in the menu all vegan options have the letters VEG by them

When I had first visited and found out that they do wine bingo, I knew I had to come back. My bestie and I used to love going to Wine Market & Table for wine bingo, but after they closed a few years ago we never found anyone else who did it. Solely Wine has solved that! They have a nice selection of wines available by the glass, but they also have a much larger selection of wines, separated by type, that you can buy by the bottle (you can't grab them yourself off the shelf, a staff member has to do that) to open and drink there or take home. My friends and I each started out with just a glass of wine and then ended up buying some bottles to share while playing bingo since we were staying for a few hours and it was a better price point to share bottles. It can get expensive buying by the glass. They also have some snacks/appetizers available for purchase if you get hungry. The inside has lots of different seating options: cozy arm chairs and couches, large family-dinner-style tables, and smaller tables along the windows. They also have a beautiful patio! Towards the back they also have an art gallery and additional seating, although I don't think that space is always open. The bathroom is kept very clean and the staff are helpful and attentive. Can't wait to come back for another girls night.

The hospitality was great, and their drink and food recommendations were equally wonderful. One thing to note is the portions on the appetizers are fairly large, so keep that in mind when ordering. To start, we ordered the Korean Fried Mushrooms with baechu kimchi, gochujang honey, daikon radish, furikake, and scallions. These were great but unfortunately had to save room for the other items and could not finish. Then got the Center Cut Ribeye which came with cajun spiced spaetzle, summer squash, remoulade sauce, pink peppercorn ricotta, scallions, sweetie drops, and chimichurri. The steak was cooked to a rare/medium rare consistency that was delicious and we loved the tiny peppers. We paired it with a nice red wine the bartender recommended and it was a lovely experience. Lastly we ended the night with the strawberry dacquoise and espresso. The dessert came with strawberry mousse, pistachio cake, strawberry glaze, white chocolate bark with pistachio & pink peppercorn, and frosted mint. It was a refreshing summertime dessert perfect to end the day. I definitely recommend the steak dish and heard the airline chicken and Chilean sea bass were good too. Would love to come back and try a cocktail and a different dish while sitting on the patio! Second Time: Got the tamarind disco cocktail that comes with a lollipop - amazing, would order again! We tried the fried chicken and caviar, pork chop, and honey cake! All three were delicious - the fried chicken and mushrooms are tied for appetizers, bowers we still think the steak is better than the pork chop. It's a very small kitchen where all the action happens, which is very impressive for a restaurant their size. Very knowledgeable staff and servers described all the ingredients and notes of flavor to look for in the dishes very well. Most ingredients were locally sourced and staff highlighted the importance of souring fresh local ingredients with every dish. Everyone form the hostess to the bartender and bus boy were friendly and welcoming. definitely 5* for service. The menu is a mix of several cuisines from Korean to Italian and even some French with a twist. The menu has great vegetarian options. Unfortunately the chef's tasting menu wasn't available as my reservation was made same day, but I decided to go with the two specials of the day. Dinner kicked off with a shot of Champaign on the house They like welcoming their guests that way. Water kept being refilled immediately. The staff again was very attentive. As an appetizer I went with the Scallops crudo with house made berry vinegar. The crudo was a healthy serving of scallops. Crispy raw carrots and radish provide some texture, while greens including endive provided some bitterness. This dish was a bit heavy on pepper and bitterness from the endives and could use some acidity to balance it out. Scallops were not as sweet as I was expecting. A bit more of the homemade raspberry vinagrette would have been perfect. The dark blue ring caused by the marination process would have shown more on a different color serving plate instead of a black bowl. For the main course I ordered the Beet linguini with sea bass. Interesting take on linguini Pickled rhubarb, rainbow radishes, fresh dill and a 'beet marinara' sauce reminded me of borscht. Unfortunately the linguini was overcooked and soaked up a lot of the butter and sauce. The pickled rhubarb provided a break from the heaviness of the dish but overall the dish lacked brightness. Sea bass was perfectly cooked. Seared and crusted with salt and pepper on one side, simple. Well executed but nothing special. For dessert I went with the Strawberry dacquoise which was delicious. The white chocolate bark with pink peppercorn stole the show. It should be layered inside the dessert! I wanted more of it. This dessert was not overly sweet. it was a great mix of pistachios and strawberry and fluffy cake. Gelee was a bit too dense but otherwise fantastic end to a good meal.
