Huevos Rancheros

This was my first time visiting Another Broken Egg Café, and overall it was a mixed experience. We ordered huevos rancheros, the broken egg biscuit sandwich, the traditional day starter, and a few sides - French toast, bacon, and house sausage. I also tried the apple pie mimosa, which was really good! There was a wait, expected for a Sunday at Brunch time, but they ended up getting us seated earlier than quoted, which was a nice surprise. Staff were friendly, approachable, and answered our questions without rushing us. There were a few bumps with the food, though. Our French toast didn't come out with the rest of the order, and when it finally did, it was rock hard and pretty much inedible. They took it back and made a fresh one (which was delicious the second time), but the interaction about it was a little awkward. The person who came over (I think a manager) commented, "There was only one bite out of it so I believe you," which felt unnecessary. We also never got our side of potatoes, though they did take it off the bill without issue. Asked for hot sauce twice but it never made it to the table. Not a big deal, just noticeable. My friends had hyped it up, especially saying first-timers get a free beignet. The host even asked if it was anyone's first time, and we said it was mine, but no beignets appeared. I didn't mention it since there had already been a mix-up, but if that's not something they do anymore, probably best not to bring it up when seating guests. The atmosphere is nice - bright, clean, and very "classic brunch café" vibes. It does get crowded quickly, but that's kind of the nature of a good breakfast spot. All in all, the food (once fixed) was tasty, and the service was friendly, just a few hiccups in communication and consistency. I'd try it again, hopefully with smoother service next time!

Strawberry Pound Cake French Toast

We went to Another Broken Egg Cafe for Sunday brunch and joined the waitlist about 30 mins before getting there. Even after checking in, we still waited another 15 minutes to be seated as it was pretty packed around noon. They gave us a complimentary order of biscuit beignets since it was our first visit, which was a nice touch. The beignets were good, just a bit too heavy on the powdered sugar. For food, we ordered the Eggs Benedict and the Strawberry pound cake French Toast with orange juice. Unfortunately, both were underwhelming. The Eggs Benedict was quite bland, and the orange juice tasted more bottled than fresh. The potatoes that came with eggs Benedict were okay but nothing great. The French toast looked amazing when it arrived but didn't taste as good as it looked - definitely below average. The service was friendly and quick, but overall the food didn't live up to the hype or reviews. I really wanted to like this place, but it just didn't hit the mark for us. Probably wouldn't go back.

Iceses was amazing! So friendly, attentive, and made our experience at Another Broken Yolk even better. He checked in at just the right times, had great energy, and made us feel so welcome. Truly great service--thank you, Iceses! Had the traditional breakfast so good! Highly recommend pineapple mimosa!

Solid 4 stars. We had a really good experience. Carly was our cute server and she was the sweetest! My bestie and I came in with our boys and had a good time. We ordered chocolate chip pancakes, waffles and fruit. WOW the fruit was amazing- raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, and pineapples. I had the skinny omelette and added apple chicken to it. So good! We also got a pitcher for the moms club :)

The perfect brunch spot with a couple of my girls!!! This wasn't my first visit here. In fact, I've been a few times, but this last visit was the absolute best for the occasion. Who doesn't love mimosas, laughter and good fellowship with your girls! Well, a time was had. Confession time - This was my first time ordering from the bar. And it won't be my last!!! I'm not sure if the Lemon Blueberry mimosa is seasonal or not, but it's a MUST!!!! Second up, is the Strawberry St. Germain mimosa. These two, you want to keep in rotation. Don't judge me! Ha! Let's say that me and my girls had a great time and left feeling bubbly!! I didn't order my normal chicken & waffles. I ventured out and tried the Mardi Gras Omelette. With a slight modification of no andouille, rather chicken sausage instead, it still was a delight. I was skeptical on the tomato hollandaise, but to my surprise it wasn't at all what I thought it would be. Not a tomato fan, but that version of hollandaise was the perfect compliment with all the other ingredients. Our server, Brandon, was great!! He obviously showed up ; ready to work. He was engaging, helpful, prompt, polite and just overall, a pleasure to interact with while dining. The weather was perfect to dine outside, service was perfect, mimosas perfect and the sun was perfect!!!

The food was absolutely AMAZING! The pancakes were very good, the service was a bit long including waiting for the food, but the ambiance was amazing! Very big comfy vibes. would DEFINITELY go again!

Tried another broken egg cafe for the first time! Originally just went to sip on a Bloody Mary, we got a pitcher and it was perfect for 2 people. Jackson was our bartender and he made sure we had a good experience from beginning to end! We were greeted with some yummy beignets to start. I couldn't stop eating them and almost filled up before even starting my meal. For my meal I got Smoked Salmon Benedict. It was fantastic, the capers are a really nice touch on this dish and the eggs were poached to perfection. My partner got the Southwest Scrambler, he said it was really good. He loved the potatoes for the side. 10/10 will be going back

Our server is Mary and she's nice and knowledgeable. TJ seated us and he was very helpful and polite. WOW first time here and the menu is amazing! My daughter ordered the bourbon Street. My husband ordered Sonoma sandwich. and I got the crabcakes with eggs Benedict. Everything looks delicious. The Ambience is nice and it's not too loud. I would highly suggest and recommend that you check it out.

My daughter and I went on a Tuesday for breakfast. I ordered the power bowl. The gravy was very bland even after adding salt and pepper. I almost feel like wit was maybe made with water instead of milk. Our waitress was really nice and pleasant. The bacon was really tasty as well as the pancakes. The restaurant had maybe 3 other guests at the time so not busy at all. They had nice selection music playing as well.

I was looking for a breakfast-y restaurant in the area while I was running errands and I'm so glad I decided in this place. I visited New Orleans for the first time earlier this year and I already miss it, so I was sold when I saw some New Orleans themed dishes on the menu. The Bourbon Street Pancakes were the best pancakes I've ever had in my life. When they server set them down, she exclaimed "aren't they beautiful?". Yes, but the smell! They smelled so good. Usually, I eat all the rest of my breakfast first and save pancakes for a reward at the end, but I dug straight into these. The homemade sausage patties were good too. They were a little bit spicy and perfectly griddled. The eggs were a little too soft-scrambled for my taste but I didn't have room after all those pancakes anyway. They had plenty of other delicious-looking menu items including a large brunch cocktail menu. The decor was beautiful and you definitely get that southern vibe. The server was very friendly and checked on me throughout. I'll definitely be back.

Eggs Benedict and Fresh Country Potatoes

Exceptional service, fantastic ambiance, and delectable cuisine. We visited on a Saturday morning and sat at the bar. It's a charming spot tucked away within the city limits. The eggs benedict were fantastic, and the potatoes were seasoned just right. I took my coffee to go to enjoy throughout the day.

Came for Mother's Day as this is my mother fav breakfast place. The service is always perfect, the workers are so nice. The place is always a bit crowded, but that only means that the food is super good. I got a seasonal blueberry honey lemon French toast. A side of fruit and scrambled eggs. Was quite good, not too much lemon. The honey and lemon worked together perfectly. Unfortunately for me their meals are always so... full of a bunch of items and I'm quite the Plain Jane. Not something to hold against them though. Always a good meal here.

Cocktail menu because that can make or break brunch!

Running my weekend errands & taking a well-earned brunch break. It's 30 minutes until closing and the 82nd St. location is bustling. The bar (which boasts accessible seating) has most seats filled. The conversations are not overly noisy and you can still hear the upbeat soundtrack in the background. It feels totally comfortable eating alone here (why I keep coming back). There are many add-in options. Today I chose the country potatoes for the first time. I prefer the grits, city grits and fruit. Overall another good experience!

But they also have some creative takes, like the rose spritz, which is what I chose. It was very tasty, light and refreshing, and not too floral, which can happen with a rose-flavored beverage. Spritzes are amazing but not enough sometimes, so I also got a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Yum! The pour was generous. I kept my drink orders simple this visit, but Thieves has a whole menu full of creative cocktails. What you do when you enter is just sit down, and someone will come by and take your order. But if you're visiting for coffee (because Thieves is also a coffee bar), you can order at the counter. I don't recall if they offer food. This is mostly a place to get drinks. And it's a lovely place to get drinks. Thieves is located in the heart of Broad Ripple, which means that parking is atrocious. I parked near The Vogue and walked over, but maybe you can find street parking, if you're lucky.

They were very accommodating to such a large group, many of whom are not really cigar smokers. At the back of the space is a large bar with an equally large humidor behind it. The humidor attendant was helpful and patient with the members of our party that didn't really know what they wanted. We were seated at a long table near the bar, though we took up a couple of smaller tables as well. They do a phenomenal job of air quality management, even though there were a ton of people smoking, the air seemed quite clean, enough so that a non-smoker would probably be comfortable hanging out with a friend who was smoking without being uncomfortable. Though they only have a small selection of beer, they did have some fairly good options. I had a Goose Island Cherries Jubilee Bourbon County Stout (quite nice), and a Camacho cigar. I didn't have any food on this visit, but the menu did look promising, even if a bit over priced. Overall this is a very nice spot for a cigar and a drink, I will likely be back when in Indy again!

We were graciously greeted by two pleasant hosts and shown to our table after a short wait. As soon as we were seated, I was given a birthday card and well wishes. Shortly after, our waiter, Eric, came by to introduce himself. He wished me a happy birthday, told me to save room for dessert because it was on him and then proceeded to tell us about the history of the restaurant, the food they specialize in, the night specials, and his recommendations before taking our drink order. Eric really made the night special for me with his professionalism and obvious pride in the restaurant. He is truly top notch and we will ask to be seated in his section when we return and I highly recommend him if you desire great service. Now the food... Eric recommended the Oyster Rockefeller and Calamari for starters. They were both delicious! For entrees, I had the prime strip steak, fries, and Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to a perfect medium and seasoned just right. The sides were good as well. My husband had the ribeye, mashed potatoes, navy bean soup, and wedge salad. His steak was cooked to perfection and he absolutely loved his chosen sides. My daughter had the king crab sushi roll, which she rated a 7/10. Now, on to dessert. Eric told us his favorite is the key lime pie. I love a good key lime pie so I ordered it. In fact, I always order key lime pie if it's on the menu where ever we dine. Of all the pies I've had in recent years, it was the truly the best with perfectly balanced key lime with a brûlée-d top. My daughter had the coconut cream pie and my husband had the bread pudding. My son's steak was overdone but they happily remade it and ALL the sides that came with it. Just immaculate service. We also ordered the chocolate mousse pie. We asked our server to place the candles we had brought on top. Lemme tell you. The service. Just so good. She realized they were sparkler candles so she waited to light it until she was at our table. We did ask the manager if we could present our son his gift during dinner. It was a firearm and we didn't wanna cause any drama or "unsafe" feelings even though, obvi, it wouldn't have been loaded. We did want to respect the establishment and their other patrons. He kindly declined and, of course, we understood. Can we talk about service? Just so exceptional. Customer service for me will make or break any experience. The bills was... A LOT. Even AFTER they comped everything the birthday boy had ordered. But even if they hadn't comped ANYTHING... I always believe in paying good money for good food. The place was clean.
