I recently visited Another Broken Egg over this past New Years weekend and it was delicious! It was my first time going and my friends and I wanted to go during brunch hours. Of course, we knew it'd be packed so we made sure to join their online waitlist which is what I'd prefer anyone to do to make sure you can get a table rather than walking in and expecting to get a table. The wait wasn't long, we did join the waitlist prior to going to the location. Once we got there the vibe was very chill and not overly packed with people. It had a decent crowd that was not overwhelming as other places. The employees also were very engaging with us during our visit. We didn't have to depend on our waitress because other individuals also checked in on us. The food was delicious and visually appealing. So believe it or not I've driven by here at least 12 times saying I am going to try it but I do not. So finally my amazing father In law suggested it. When we walked in, it was busy and the wait was 1/2 hour. However until like many waitlisted restaurants they were very kind. It was not a 1/2 hour wait but when we were seared rye waiters seemed confused. No one came to check on us for quite some time. When they did. One they were very friendly and kind and prompt. Very nice - service was nearly outstanding as was the food. We arrived about 1 pm for a late breakfast, the place was busy however we were seated quickly. My partner ordered French Toast with a side of potatoes, which she seemed to enjoy. I just didn't think I would like them combined together. Boy, was I wrong. This omelette was amazing! Melt in your mouth - Truly ah-may-zing! I subbed out the English Muffin for fresh fruit and even that was oh so good. The mango in it was my favorite. It's not the cheapest place to eat but the portions are large and I ended up having enough omelette left for two more breakfasts. I've always liked ABE in fishers & this location is no different. One of my favorite parts of their menu is the fun drinks, especially the mimosas. The flavors and options are fantastic. I like that you can order by the glass or by the pitcher. The food is always very good and for most dishes you could probably share the meal - the portion sizes are generous. A family member from New Orleans recommended Another Broken Egg, they said it was great, legit southern-style brunch. While I can't speak to the authenticity being from the Midwest, I really enjoyed both of the meals I've had here! I got the Smoked Salmon Benedict both times, and it was delicious. It's a great combination of different textures and flavors. It's rich and decadent, without feeling over-the-top. For my side, I got the City Grits, which I would definitely recommend. It's their regular grits recipe topped with bacon, tomato and green onion, yum! It's a must-try. As with a lot of brunch places, be prepared for long wait times on the weekend. They get very busy. Get a seat at the bar if you can. They do have a virtual queue, which makes the wait before you're seated much shorter. Highly recommend for brunch! This was my last stop in my visit in Indiana. Considering how busy the weekend was from the Indy 500, we only had to wait no longer than 15 minutes to be seated and I thought we got our our order taken and food served in a reasonable amount of time. There were so many delicious southern classic plates available, I had the most difficult time choosing! I'm a sucker for chicken and waffles, but I also saw they had COOKIE DOUGH waffles?! Ultimately I order the Cinnamon Roll French Toast because cinnamon rolls are always a great idea for brunch. I loved that it came with a side of 2 eggs and 2 sausage patties (bacon is an alternative) so I could have best of both savory and sweet worlds. Not that I needed any more sweets... I think because of how busy it was, they were offering a free full order (4 pieces) of beignets! I've never tried them before, but hey, how lucky am I?! Great brunch environment and something on the menu for everyone. I was able to get a healthy option by ordering an omelet with fruit. One of the best fruit cups you can get: pineapple, berries, & watermelon. It was a good size as well. Lots of drink options from a classic cup of coffee in a mug to fun mimosa combinations. I didn't try a mimosa but I eyed the ones that came out to neighboring tables in pretty colors and topped with tooth-picked fruit. In fact, I eyed a lot of food. Everything from the pancakes to chicken and waffles looked yummy coming out of the kitchen door. It was also easy to bring our baby. The waiting bench had room for us to sit with a car seat. Bathroom had a changing table. Once at our table, they had a swing to hold a car seat. We also weren't rushed to order or finish and turnover the table which is nice when juggling a baby. I'd return again with my family. I'd also feel comfortable bringing a friend that they'd easily be able to find something on the menu and that the environment and service would be solid. read more

I'll be honest up front here, it's a 4 star place, but the prices convinced me to drop a star. The food is good, not "amazing", but definitely good. I had the chorizo omelette, it came with a few slices of avocado, and topped with melty cheese, again, good, not great. My wife had the banana bread French toast. It was good banana bread, but definitely under-done as French toast. Like they were in a hurry to make it and didn't let the slices of bread soak up the batter before plopping it into the pan. It came with a bunch of toppings; walnuts, diced green apples(should have been peeled first), raisins, and Brie cheese slices. It was a decent combo, but the state of the toast made it more like banana bread with toppings, not bad, just not...great. The kids meal is where things took a turn. It was scrambled eggs, and English muffin, some fruit and milk. All good. But it was $6.50!!!!!! When the bill arrived I also noted the coffee (mediocre coffee, but I'm a coffee snob) was $4 per cup! Just regular coffee. The service was great, our server took very good care of us, keeping the aforementioned coffee cups full and delivering hot sauce and napkins. Place was all very clean. I didn't end up eating. I waited about a minute when I walked in for someone to acknowledge me. I finally went to the bar associate who had recently walked out and asked he if I should seat myself or was I supposed to get seated. She came over and seated me. I had asked to sit by the window and she said that was fine but don't know if that messed up their flow or something... The place was not packed but had a good crowd. It appears to me that they were only 2 servers. I needed to use the bathroom, but wanted to wait until someone came to my table so I could communicate with them... you know like what drink I wanted since that's usually the very first thing. It appeared the 2 ladies were having a discussion with a gentleman about who was to take my table but after that still no one came. After sitting there about 6 minutes I went to the bathroom. And another minute or so one of the ladies said she just sat back down and finally came over. I asked some arbitrary question to see what King of vibe she had and she was pleasant but when I commented about the selection she did not offer me the other menue (with gluten-free and vegan options). So I got the feeling they just did not want to deal with me and I would not have a good expierience seeing how everything was starting off. I mean the very least she could have said when finally coming over was, soŕy about your wait. And if they really wanted my business they would have offered the other menu. Our servers name was Tiffany and she very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu and helped us decide what to each based on her experience as a server and what she had eaten. This was my first time at this location. I actually didn't know it existed. I came here and took a work brunch. It wasn't busy at all. I ordered my usual order, and the waiter took 4 orders without writing it down, so of course, he had to come back and ask questions again. After we received our orders, it tasted like the chef might be using some different techniques I couldn't put my finger on. Idk, but my omelette just didn't taste the same, but not in a totally horrible way, just not the norm. The others in my party food was sent back for being overcooked as well as their potatoes tasting past their freshness date. It was stated that the potatoes seemed as if they were cooked yesterday and reheated the current day. We all know it's no catfishing leftover potatoes. You can not go wrong picking any of the three Another Broken Egg locations in the Indy area. The service is typically pretty good. Sometimes it is a little slow, but they are usually quite busy whenever I am in. The place can be quite hectic whenever I go in. It tends to be during the busiest times for brunch. It can be loud because people are enjoying a great brunch. ABE has the best flavored sausage of any restaurant I've ever gone to. It is so flavorful and I get an order with whatever breakfast I choose. I tend to get the biscuits and gravy meal which is great and filling. My wife has her favorite brunch here as well, the shrimp and grits. If I am in the mood for a sweeter brunch option, I'll pick one of the pancake or french toast options. My last visit I had the holiday french toast which had candied pralines and carmel on them. So good. The only thing lacking at ABE in Indianapolis is sweet tea. My first time here and I already can't wait to come back! I had the Veggie Delight omelette and it was incredible. The goat cheese was very prominent and came through in every bite, which I was a huge fan of. The mushrooms were cooked well, and the omelette itself was nice and fluffy. Another Broken Egg was great! My wife chose this place so I really had no expectations but it did NOT disappoint. She opted for the carrot cake pancakes which was suggested by the location manager when we got seated. I opted for the pound cake French toast. Both were excellent we also got eggs and bacon on the side. Everything was delicious. Our food took quite a while to come out and the manager noticed and swooped in immediately to check on our food and take care of us. It was really great service. Do not ever order their lobster and brie here. First of all, there was no actual lobster in the lobster brie omelet, just surimi artificial lobster... not even logastino . There was barely any brie either. We have eaten at many Broken Eggs and this one was the saddest disappointment ever for a bill of over $42. The ambiance of being stuck in a back room with no windows was also a disappointment. Is this how bad the lobster brie omelette has devolved? My mother and I visited this location for the second time because the first time I really liked the food and I ordered the Crab Benedict with the City Grits which was really delicious. However from my last visit, the food was still good but was disappointed on a few things. 1) I ordered the Begneits, but waitress informed me that they ran out. 2) I wanted to try the Bourbon pancakes, but they ran out of one of the main ingredients. 3) While we were waiting for our table, there were people who were obviously done eating but they were still just sitting there talking the whole time and not being considerate of others waiting a long time for their table. I've dined in many restaurants and I've never seen this before. There should be a boundary set for this especially when the restaurant is busy. 4) The hostess that brought us to our table, did not ensure the table was appropriately clean where there was butter packets all on the floor and I had to ask the hostess to sweep it up 5) The atmosphere of the restaurant was too loud and the wait staff were talking and playing around The only time I would come back is for carryout only. I have been wanting to try this place. The menu looked unique but I usually go for more of a local, diner type breakfast place. I ordered a basic breakfast with eggs, chicken sausage and potatoes and added a side of beignets. My friend ordered a chicken and egg biscuit. The beignets were good, but not exactly like the ones you get in New Orleans. These weren't as soft. My breakfast portion was very small for an $11 breakfast. My friend's biscuit didn't come the way he had ordered it but they fixed it and took the beignets off the bill. Our server was very nice but overall the experience was just ok for a $30 breakfast.
