This establishment smells like dirty mop water upon entry, windows are visibly smeared and just not pleasant to the eye. The waitress acted like she didn't want to be bothered with us. I ordered fish and chips which was to be 3 pieces of fish and fries or whatever side. It was one piece of fish cut into 3 small pieces. It was not seasoned and the fish appeared to not be done all the way. We ordered the 14oz steak medium well it came out rare and dripping blood. Sweet tea was not sweet and we didn't get any refills. We also got the hot fudge chocolate cake and it was a big portion but was dry and cold. Nothing was hot about it. We don't have a need to return to this establishment. We also got spinach dip which tasted bland and was watery not creamy or cheesy. The loaded fries, chicken sandwich and chicken strips were decent.

Stopped by Cheddar's in Augusta and had a really good meal! I ordered the Trio Sampler and the Country Fried Double Chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. The Trio Sampler was a solid start--everything was fresh and tasty. The Country Fried Chicken was crispy and juicy, with a good amount of gravy that pulled it all together. The green beans were seasoned nicely, and the mashed potatoes were creamy and satisfying. The honey buttered croissants are AMAZING! Overall, everything was delicious, and the service was friendly. Only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the appetizers were a bit bland. Nothing a little bit pf salt and pepper couldn't fix.

Cheddars is decent food for really good prices. I would visit for the cocktails alone. The bar is comfortable and the service is really good.

The food is always very good when we come to Cheddars. I come for the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. It's a huge portion and always delicious. Service was prompt. Prices are also very reasonable. We also had the buttered croissants...they are amazing!

Cheddars never fail me. The prices are reasonable and the food is consistent. I sat at the bar and the bartender was very attentive to my needs. He checked on me throughout the service and he was very personable. My food was tasty. I love the broccoli and cheese casserole. The salmon was cooked well. My only complaint was that the bourbon sauce was a little runny. It also came with grilled shrimp. The ambiance was chill.

7PM on a Wednesday night and we were seated right away by a friendly hostess. Breona, our smiling, sweet wait staff, brought us menus, and took our drink order. She was back in a flash with both of our drinks, buttered warm croissants, and she was ready to take our order or give us more time. Husband ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn. I got the chicken pot pie with sweet baby carrots. He thoroughly enjoyed his dinner, as did I. The pot pie had a flaky crust, and was loaded with chicken & veggies. My side carrots WERE sweet! I don't know what they have for dessert. We were too full to even look. We really enjoyed tonight's dinner, and hope to come again. But can we PLEASE have Breona? She was fabulous!

I went to Cheddars on a Saturday night & sat at the bar. I ordered a frozen texas strawberry margarita & the 8oz blackened salmon w/ a loaded baked potato & broccoli. Service was quick and prompt. I was in an out within the hour. The drink was amazing! and was only $6.79! Tinesha, the bartender, served me & was excellent. I will definitely be back.

We stopped here in Augusta during a road trip back to Atlanta. I wanted some decent comfort food and I knew Cheddar's had it. We were seated immediately as there were not many people in the restaurant at the time. It was a Thursday afternoon. Our server was nice and friendly. We ordered salads but the lettuce was not ready. She apologized a couple of times but it was fine. I ordered the Chicken Tenders and Ribs with loaded potato and side salad. You can choose salad as a side for 99 cents. That salad is large enough to be considered a full size. You can have either house salad or Caesar salad I chose Caesar. I was impressed because it had shavings of Parmesan cheese. It was nice and fresh. I knew from the start that I would be eating the tenders only. When they come straight out the grease they are so good because they are crispy and juicy. No it doesn't have a lot of seasoning but so what. The potato was good and yummy. I took the half slab of ribs home for the next day.

Starting with our drinks, we both had coffee-which I would return for the coffee alone! It was bold, curious, mysterious and honestly had me asking for the name of the coffee before I left! We had a server in training, so two servers! Both were outstanding! Quick to refill our drinks and remove plates that were empty. The food.....let me just say I not only spoke with management, I also was able to speak with the head chef to give my praise. I am not one to sing false praise, trust me. When I tell you I have never, ever, had a brunch as delicious as his!!! I am a French toast connoisseur, and his was a 12/10! There was not one bite of food that wasn't outstanding. I was truly impressed, with his creativity and his attention to detail because it shined like a diamond from the front of house all the way down to the sweet lady filling the cakes when I was taking my pictures for this review! "Let me get it all full and pretty now before you get those pictures!" I mean, if she wasn't just the sweetest thing, and took 100% pride in her work. Same with the gentleman working the omelet station. He came in the day before to prep the fish (which is a long day of work!) The love they put into each dish truly shines through effortlessly! With permission, personally, I would suggest they rename their Sunday Brunch to "Soul-filled Sunday Brunch" because #1 I left ready to go to sleep! #2 I had a religious experienced during that meal, in blessings and dining I have only ever had at Church Potlucks! #3 It elevated some fancy and some common foods to such heights, I was expect to be hearing gospel music while I ate! #4 Personally, I hope heaven's banquet table is much like today's-full of love, flavor and most importantly-community! Everyone from other diners enjoying their brunch to servers, sous chefs to the top man himself-not one person wasn't smiling from ear to ear. It's been near a decade since I've seen that many smiling people all in one place! While I will have to limit how often I come for Brunch lest my clothes start shrinking! Edgar's by far, takes the trophy for elevated dining experiences in Augusta, Ga! Best of all, a percentage of all their sales goes back directly into Helms College (located in the same shopping center.) Helms college offers hands-on education in culinary arts, health services, and industrial trades like HVAC/R. Keep up the amazing work, I eagerly look forward to dining with you again!

The service was absolutely top-notch, the food was excellent, and the ambiance was certainly very mellow. Our server, Cassandra, was very friendly and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain the menu and made some great recommendations. Their menu is a southern American fusion for sure, putting unique spins on classic dishes. Here's what we had: Drinks: -Bottle of: Vitiani rosso Appetizer: -Charcuterie board (a la carte): -Bresaola (pork) -The drunken goat (Spanish cheese) -The red dragon cheddar cheese -Bacon Jam Dinner: -Pork loin chop -Confit duck pot pie -Beet carpaccio Salad The charcuterie board was very unique and delicious. Afterwards, my lady, and I split the beet salad, her dad had the pork loin, and her mom had the pot pie. Everything was absolutely delicious. After we finished, I met the owners, and told them how much we truly enjoyed it all. They were very appreciative of my compliments. We would certainly stop by here again.

I looked up steakhouses near the area on Yelp and Finch & Fifth had the best reviews. My fiancée and I looked at the menu and were sold. It was small and simple but all looked great. I made reservations for dinner on Black Friday. The inside and bar area is small, a bit dark yet inviting. Our server was Cassandra. Down to earth and very attentive. She told me that their menu changes. That's a good thing. It's always nice to try different meals. I would describe their menu- Southern American fusion. They serve appetizers, charcuterie boards, salads, entrees and dessert. They do have happy hour and specials. The bacon jam went well with it. Then our entrees came out. My fiancée and I split the beet salad. So good! My dad demolished his plate. He really enjoyed his pork loin with the veggies. My mom raves about the duck pot pie. She's been telling her friends and family all about it. She had extra and took it home. We had a great experience that my fiancée wanted to meet the owner. Sarah was very sweet and nice to talk to. Everyone had a great time and loved the food! I can say we are fans and definitely coming back. Thanks for making our dining experience wonderful.
