    Country Fried Chicken

This was my first time to Cheddar's, and I might come back tomorrow! Good and fast service. The dining room was very nice, dimmer lights with a pretty calm atmosphere. Loved it. The food was delicious. I got the country fried chicken with white gravy, baked potato and green beans as sides. It was all exceptional and fresh. The chicken was hot and crispy. My girl got the chicken and shrimp meal and I had a few bites and it was also delicious. Great stuff! Looking forward to the next visit.

Half rack of ribs with shrimp. Broccoli Cheese Casserole and red beans with rice as sides.

If you look through my reviews, you'll see I don't review chain restaurants; I usually avoid them altogether. Truth be told, a gift card brought me through the door. I was pleasantly surprised by my dining experience. The atmosphere is much nicer than I expected. Lots of dark wood gave it a true restaurant feel. It was clean, we were promptly seated and our waitress was not only helpful but cheerful. We ordered a couple of drinks to start the meal. I had a good pour on my bourbon coke. My dining partner enjoyed a drink off their specialty menu. When the bill came, the prices were reasonable. There is a little of something for everyone on the menu. I ended up with the smoked ribs and deep fried shrimp. They both were cooked well and had great taste. I didn't love the broccoli cheese casserole side but did like the red beans and rice. I guess some people like the complimentary bread/roll but it didn't do much for me. My dining partner enjoyed the chicken meal they ordered. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. It won't be in my regular rotation; however, I won't turn down another gift card to the restaurant.

Kendall!! The best server we have ever had!! She was absolutely wonderful with a fantabulous personality!! We loved her!

Looks nice on the inside. Food was pretty gross and service was mediocre at best. Definitely not scratch made food. Will never be back.

Seating is really weird, you walk to the center of the restraunt to the hostess stand, then they seat you. I ordered an unsweet iced tea. This is not brewed tea, but that stuff that comes from the soda fountain. I can't stand that stuff. On Monday they have a wing special. I asked how many wings and was told 11-15. I asked if I could get all flats, I had to explain to the server what flats were, he said they were all flats. I have had dental work that makes eating the drimettes difficult so I pay for the flats. When the wings arrived with 8 wings and 2-3 of them were flats. I chose not to wait and picked the meat off with a fork. They were way overcooked, no juice left in the chicken at all. I had to order a second round, but this time got boneless. The servers inexperience had a lot to do with the service I am sure but the quality if the food was very bad. Such a bad review, why 2 stars? The restraunt was very efficient, everything came quickly and the prices were very reasonable. To bad the food was so bad.

Much to his dismay, they were out of the one item he even decided to come here for. To his defense, when several dishes on the menu have that one item in it, it takes away a lot of food options. I was planning to pick the smoked wings since I was still full from lunch. He had trouble picking his alternate dish since his 2nd choice was catfish....and the way they serve it here is whole which he doesn't want to work for his food. We ended up walking out and trying another restaurant. Service was friendly and understandable about our choice.

We had a private room with pre-set menu that included bread service + soup or salad. Do not skip on the fresh bread with compound butter. I never knew how delicious bacon Parmesan compound butter would be. I want to be a butter snob now and only crave compound butters moving forward. :D Food presentation is beautiful but taste is what wins me over. The tenderloin is magnificent. All of the flavors are in perfect symmetry - the sprouts and mashed potatoes were dynamite. Having broccolini as another vegetable was even better. This is a generously sized dish and easily makes for 2 meals. I can't say enough positive things about my first Fratellos experience and very much look forward to coming back for another taste.

We went to one of their limited dinner services. I had called the day before and reserved a table. When we were quickly seated at a table by the entrance, I admit being suspect of how our visit would go. The hostess asked if the table was alright and pointed out a heater by the table. Not only did it keep us warm, it made our table feel cozy. Despite it being very busy, I'd describe the restaurant as being a great place for a special date. Our waiter for the evening brought great energy. His timing was great and his knowledge of the food served was helpful. Without hesitation he suggested the Napolitana (which was phenomenal). He also made the restaurant less pretentious than I had assumed it would be and it definitely wasn't pretentious). We ordered the empanadas and beet salad as appetizers. Great picks and I'd return just to get the empanadas! As previously stated, I had the Napolitana. My dining partner has the quinoa bowl but added chicken to it. No complaints for either. We finished with two desserts suggested by our waiter. Although truly full from our meal, we polished off the tasty treats. I'm going back, just disappointed I've haven't visited it before now.

They're located in an old building along the main street in downtown. For lunch, they seemed to have a short list of items...and not really catering to a red meat eater like me. I picked the chicken pesto sandwich since I normally eat chicken sandwiches for lunch and opted for the house potatoes. Our waitress was very loopy and loud add seemed overly happy about her job. My colleague thinks she was yelling at us whem she spoke, but I believe that is just how some people talk. My chicken sandwich was good...but the chicken breast seemed like a machine formed patty and it was small. I was expecting something a little fresher, like a whole grilled chicken breast for the price. Instead, this seemed like a pre-made patty from a vendor they just heated up in an oven. The house potatoes were simple and pretty good though. They add cheese and herbs and spices to these to amp them up. I can't really speak for the breakfast or cocktail program, but their music was pretty good.

They have an upstairs tap room, an arcade, and a bar and restaurant downstairs. The service was all-around incredible. The employees were warm, friendly, and professional, and they seemed to know exactly how often to check in without interrupting our meal. They spaced out our drinks, appetizers, and entrees just the right amount. Our server Andrew was particularly great. We had a soda flight of their craft sodas for a super super reasonable price, and every single soda was spectacular. We're spoiled in the craft soda department by virtue of living in Wisconsin (Sprecher, Potosi, etc), but this was definitely the best craft soda we've had. Even the wacky flavors like blue raspberry were rich and flavorful--they didn't taste overwhelmingly artificial. I cannot recommend their soda enough, although I imagine their craft beer is pretty good too! We also had a delicious mocktail, which always goes a long ways in impressing us. All of our food was reasonably priced and so, so, fresh and delicious. The Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese was heavenly!! We loved our entrees as well. Even something simple like the fries were perfectly done--fresh, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside I don't think we could have asked for a better experience. Everything we had their was top notch, and despite the number of things we ordered, our bill was not very high at all (about $50 for a mocktail, a craft soda flight and a soda pint, an appetizer and two entrees.
