Not shouting or overly excited to chat me up. He was soft spoken, cautiously shy, but nice. Once he realized that I was cool and knew what I wanted, his serious face softened and he opened up. The cook easily smiled. There's no music, just sizzling sounds from the grill. There's a funny message on the bathroom floor the sink needs updating and it needs a nice soap dispenser with quality soap. Other the that, the place is nice. Would be a spot to go on a date. The vibe is grown and sexy, not kiddish like other burger joints. So don't expect crayons on the table and high chairs. Now to the food. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice platter. They plated it quickly. It camed with fresh salad, pita bread, and a few French fries on top . They covered everything with their delicious white sauce. I asked to have the hot sauce on the side bcz I wasn't sure how hot it was. I like spicy but some hot sauces can ruin the dish. Their sauce wasn't too hot, but I'm glad I got it on the side. The chicken was moist, flavorful, well seasoned, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything was fresh, moist, and piping hot. I could tell the meat was halal bcz it had a fresh chickeny taste. If you know, you know. I ordered extra pita bread. The platter comes with 2 pieces but the extra comes with 4. I'm so full! I took half my platter to go with 3/4 of the extra pita bread. I'll save it for dinner. The platters come with a full tray. If you come for lunch, you'll be stuffed probably sleepy like I am rn. Take the rest home. If you come here starving, you'll leave full and satisfied. I only paid $12 plus $1.50 for extra pita bread. That's a steal in this economy! I hope they don't increase the prices after reading this. I'll be back, inshallah . Thanks for the good lunch and chill energy.

The amount of money you've lost from this repeat customer, feeding a family of four no less, is more money than you would have "lost" by providing ranch with the overpriced meal. Someone came out in a couple of minutes. I ordered a 6 inch Chili/Cheese Dog - and a bottle of water. Except - they are out of bottled water. So I went with just the Chili Dog. I went to pay with Apple Pay and was told we don't accept Apple Pay - you have to use the Sonic App. They must be one of the few business in Northern Virginia that does not accept contactless payments. They make you do it in their own app. So I paid cash. The cashier had to go in the back to make change. While I was waiting - I walked around the near vacant dining area. There was one person in the dining area. While waiting, I noted a large flat panel screen HDTV mounted on the all - but not on - with a dangling cable not plugged in to anything. Everything is dirty and needs a deep cleaning. Looking up to the ceiling - the HVAC vents are disgusting and need to be cleaned. A few minutes later - my order was ready. I decided to eat in as I did not want to spill chili on myself in the car. I shouldn't have worried about that though - when I opened my order - the amount of chili and cheese on the Dog - was the smallest quantity I have ever seen. It looked as if they had taken a butter knife and scraped the smallest amount possible of chili and drizzled the least amount of cheese across the Hot Dog. One has lemon grass and it's just the perfect amount of tangy and fragrant! I often find a couples come here on dates or large families come by. The meal truly never misses. The menu has plenty of full options if soup is not really your thing, although I am slightly judging you because around this time of year Pho just cures the soul.

I had the fried whitings w/ coleslaw. I did not have a drink because there was nothing sugar free. They did have water though. Chicken sandwich was up in minutes. We had to wait a minute for our food. There were fans blowing all in the restaurant. Not a good look. All in all food was nicely, seasoned and hot. Macaroni and cheese and coleslaw slaw were nice portion. The cashier knew we were first timers and asked how everything was. It was well worth the trip!

Within the past six years, the wing sizes have shrunk significantly to the point of embarrassing (see photo), the prices for the chicken wings have drastically increased, and to top it off, is that no ranch is provided with each order of chicken anymore. I just got home after spending over $70 for my family of four and was tried to be "rang up," after for asking for three cups of ranch with my two orders of chicken and one order of pot stickers. After saying, "I'm spending $70 on dinner tonight for four people and you don't provide a single ranch with each meal item?" To which the cashier replied, "we don't do that anymore." Well now I don't order bon chon anymore. The amount of money you've lost from this repeat customer, feeding a family of four no less, is more money than you would have "lost" by providing ranch with the overpriced meal. Not to mention my reaction to the disgraceful "chick" wings (again, see photo) in my order upon getting home with my carry-out order. Me, nor anyone in my family, will be returning to bon chon ever again. It's a real shame what corporate greed does to a great business. I'd give 0/5 stars if I could.

Owner is awful. In the 20 years I've been going there. I have never seen him smile.I ordered a "hot…read morezap", told him my toppings then said hot again. I realized when I got to the car they gave me a cold sandwich. So I went back in and nicely said excuse me this was supposed to be hot. He immediately said, no you didn't say hot. I said yes I did. He says no you didn't. I say it was literally the first word out of my mouth" (it was also my last word.) He continued to tell me I didn't say it offering zero customer service. When I was about to lose my cool, I turned around and said fine I'll just heat it up myself at home. I feel as though he should've said I didn't hear you say that, but if you would like it hot, let me throw it in the oven for you. I wasn't asking for a brand new sandwich. I was just asking for an hot one. Instead, he had a complete attitude and was trying to embarrass me in front of his customers and talked crap to the customers as I walked out the door stating I didn't say that. That is the most disgusting, poor example of what customer service should look like. I love the food, but sadly, I'll never give him another dollar.

The sandwich has mounds of turkey and roast beef and the perfect proportions of toppings to compliment. I also love that the deli is chock-full of a unique variety of chips, sweets, and beverages to accompany your order. I finished my Crab Chips and Passionfruit soda before I even made it to my destination! Though I'm not local to the area, this spot has made my must-visit list for any time I'm back in the DC area.
