Overall decent. Casual lunch/dinner place to go to , and great service. Food was okay!

Inside of wings.

I would rate Bonchon as "Okay, when drunk" for a wings place. It was my first time having anything from Bonchon, and I had it delivered. This is important because of the sides I got. Generally, when you're getting something for delivery, you don't want to order fries because anything thats supposed to be crispy just ends up a soggy mess... I found out later that their fries are amazing, and i might have to give them another shot. I ordered 10 pc Wings, Half & Half. Half (5) Soy Garlic and Half (5) Plain. For my side, because of the above-mentioned issue, I had to get coleslaw. As an additional item, I got some extra Ranch Dressing. I wasn't too impressed with their packaging. If anyone here has ever delivered food, or has a shred of sense, will know - CARDBOARD is the worst for heat retention and prevention of build of moisture... I have no idea why Bonchon chooses to use cardboard packaging for items they know will need to stay as dry and crispy as possible, but it was a horrible choice, and needs to be changed. Let's start with the smallest items.. The ranch dressing was bland and simply generic, and had a very very runny consistency to it, to the point that if you dipped your wing into the ranch, it was running off like a waterfall before you could get it to your mouth. Next the coleslaw - I'm not a huge fan of coleslaw, to be fair, but when I smelled this coleslaw and tried a bit of it, I could tell that it was amazing and anyone who likes coleslaw would love this stuff... It smelled and tasted fresh and vibrant. Finally - the main part of the whole meal - The chicken wings! Sadly, I didn't enjoy these wings as much as everyone had hyped them up to... The plain wings were just that - PLAIN. No salt. No pepper. No ANYTHING. Literally a wing, dipped in un-flavored batter, and dipped into oil. They were quite greasy on the inside, under all the batter shell. It was so bland that it was depressing! I had a hard time even finishing the ones I had because they were bland, and the runny-ranch didn't do much to help it! The soy garlic wings were what saved this place slightly... They were decently good, and had a great flavor to them... They were a bit heavy on the flavor to the point that the chicken didn't get a chance to live up to it's glory, and was fully masked by other flavors.. The exterior of the wings for both the soy garlic and the plain wings had an amazing crunch to them, and was what I always imagine fried wings will come out as... It's just sad that this place's food couldn't live up to the hype-level it was boosted to... It's not as bad as some of the local wing places I've been to and I might try it again for another opinion, but for now I'll leave it near the bottom of the list. My top favorites will still be Pizza Time, and Wingstop.

Your team member server: L500 was extremely rude this afternoon when I picked up my order. Issue: I had a coupon on my phone that needed to be redeemed and showed to the cashier; I showed him the coupon and with a condescending and rude tone your cashier (L500) ( the boy with the light Green dyed hair and feminine voice) kept telling me with rude gestures and tone that I needed to input the coupon info on the tablet. Ps: the coupon had no number, it only needed to be showed which is what I explained to him but he kept being aggressive and some making rude gestures and attempted to argue. I asked him for an extra bbq sauce and even offered to pay and responded by saying with a condescending tone that "the store does not GiVE out sauce to customers". I left the store immediately to avoid any escalation. I am writing this formal complain for you to RE-TRAIN your employee to treat his customers with respect. A lot of us would not tolerate any disrespect especially when we spend our hard-earned money in the store. I will not come back in your store until this employee is re-trained or someone with better customer service skills is hired.

Bonchon is one of my favorite chicken spots. Went with a friend to NOVA and we made a pit stop to eat. The service was good we just ordered at the counter and seated ourselves. They brought the food out in a bag as if it were "to-go" and you got paper plates and plastic utensils. We shared a 16pc chicken strip and got sides of white rice and daikon radish. It was all fresh and delicious. The ambiance was as nice as well, it was clean and it was also empty inside. It was cute and enjoyable. Would definitely return again!

Tried this place and was not disappointed. The service was quick and the food was delicious. I had the bibimbap with bulgogi and the pork puns. The portion size for both was very generous and the flavors were phenomenal. Will definitely be back for more.

Chicken fried rice, packed!

I always enjoy "crack" chicken from this place. The soy garlic is, "Oh so good." I cannot eat the hotter flavors, but I know that they are popular. Another good dish is the fried rice which is made with the best ingredients including egg! Lots of flavor and plenty of rice. It's worth getting and you can get a great deal during lunch time. The chicken strips are delicious and the kimchi coleslaw is delicious. I like the radish too. The inside of the restaurant is always clean and plenty of seats. The bar is humongous and they have korean beers and bottled sodas. Everyone is extremely nice, they have a rewards program ( I always have a time logging in at the counter, but you can get texts) and great lunch specials. I warn you, once you start eating this chicken, you won't stop coming back.

Lunch specials... can't lose! I had leftovers for sure for the next day!

This is my spot! They are ALWAYS polite and when I order take out, they always offer me a water while I wait. Friday, I decided to take my sister there since she was visiting and wanted something different. We ate in which was my first experience as well dining in. Our waitress was good and the food was awesome. The lunch specials do not dissapoint and neither does the food. Fresh and hot... I always usually get the wings half and half and they have good coleslaw. The bulgogi fried rice with is everything! I just love bulgogi it is mixed in and it isn't a tease like eating shrimp fried rice or something it's really mixed in perfectly.

My first time going to this chain restaurant, Very quiet atmosphere with big taste. The service was average but friendly. I would recommend this.

Mm. Seasoned fries are super crispy and delicious!

Recommend the chicken strips - hot is quite spicy but worth a try if you can handle spicy foods.

We went on a Sunday for lunch, so it wasn't packed and that's how we like it. Our waiter was so nice. He gave us a gadget to press a button whenever we needed him. I thought, "I need one of these at home." LOL. Anyways, this is an all you can eat restaurant, so we ordered a little at a time and our waiter cooked our food. We started with miso soup, kimchi and salad. Then we tried most of their sides, fried vegetable dumplings (crisp to perfection), corn cheese (the cheese pull on this), rose deokbokgi, kimbap, japchae (clear noodles). Now the cooking begins, we ordered fresh thin sliced pork belly twice. It was soooo good. If you want that crisp, you need to let them leave it a little longer. I know we ordered more meats like bulgogi, but I stopped taking notes. It was that good. Overall, the food was great. It was a little pricey, but you're getting a lot of food options. The meat alone pays for itself. Overall, I would recommend this place. Afterwards, you can walk it off at the mall.

The menu was extensive, filled with lots of homey options that I don't usually see in other restaurants. After ordering, we were served six different banchans, all of which were incredibly homey -- light and not too savory. My favorites were the acorn jelly (which was mixed with salted seaweed and sesame seeds) and the white kimchi. Honestly, all six were really solid. AL TANG - 19.99 Super savory with lots of "sea sweetness" and umami, this stew was rich and piping hot upon arrival. I've never had al tang before, but have heard great things about it. Unfortunately, I didn't love the texture of fish roe (kind of reminded me of the texture of cooked chicken lungs). By the end of the stew, I thought it was too salty, so I didn't end up finishing it. Overall, I'm glad I tried it, but I probably won't get it again. My friend got the mackerel which he loved. I'll look forward to other items on the menu next time.

They also have a buffet bar with seafood, dipping sauces, and a variety of items you can add to your hot pot and/or BBQ, which is a nice touch. The restaurant itself is clean, especially the buffet bar. One small note: the high chair could use a better wipe-down. As for the food, the meats were flavorful and delicious, with decent portion sizes. The spicy pork belly is still my favorite -- always a win. I wasn't a fan of the hot pot broth, though; it lacked flavor and seasoning for my taste. The fish cakes and kimchi were a bit salty, but still tolerable. Service was mixed. I really appreciated that the staff handled most of the cooking -- after going to so many Korean BBQ spots, it's nice to just sit back and enjoy the food. Some servers were very attentive, while others weren't as engaged. Overall, if you already love Honey Pig, this location is definitely a must-try. We'll for sure be back, but we'll skip the hot pot next time and stick to the BBQ.

You can make your own sauce and they have so much to offer. The cutest thing is the robot that brings us our meat. Lunch was so good that I had to bring my hubby a couple of days later for supper. I told my hubby about lunch and he wanted to try it out too. Servers were nice and I ordered soju. They didn't have the one I wanted but they had other ones that I like as well too. This time, we didn't stuff ourselves with the other things, we made it simple, lettuce, kimchi, more garlic, pickled daikon, sauces to make a wrap with. I also had some seafood too. No hotpot this time as well. All their meats were delicious. Great place to take a date, friends or anyone with whom you like to spend your time with.
