Decided to stop in for dinner and went with a few combos. The inside is clean and the staff were friendly. We went with several orders of classic and one order of boneless. We dined in but everything was bagged to go. This made it easy to take home the leftovers. We didn't have to wait too long to receive our food. A few of the wings were small but overall the majority of them were a decent size. They were cooked nicely and tasted great. I wasn't a huge fan of the Hickory Smoked BBQ but my son liked them. Wingstop has to be my favorite place to get wings on the fly. I've been to several locations and this one seems to be the most consistent in terms of the food. It's also the one that gets my order right every single time. They even package their Togo orders with care. I know that might seem like a no brainer but at some locations, they don't even use clamshell Togo containers, which is SO annoying. So now it's a thing I have to review ‍ Anyways, the wings are always fresh, hot and coated nicely with the sauce. The fries can be a little bland in flavor so I usually get the Cajun seasoning on them or opt for voodoo fries if I'm feeling fancy. We ordered Friday night and the food delivered was yet again, not worth the money paid. The fries were literally cardboard hard, not even able to be warmed up. The chicken was not fresh and old. We have tried and tried to give this store a chance for delivery. Management is responsive and will typically refund or try to rectify the experience. The best way to manage the experience is dine in or carry out from this location. We have used a few other locations in the area for delivery and even with DoorDash, the food is edible and in pretty good shape. Was in the mood for wings today so I decided to try this place out after reading the reviews. First impression with the customer service...HORRIBLE. This was my first time here so I had a couple of questions about the flavors. The cashier, who's name is Abdul (got the name from my receipt) was SO rude and not helpful at all. I was asking him how spicy one of the flavors was and he rudely told me to look at the wall. I hadn't noticed the "spicy meter" but this is no way to treat a customer. Every time I would ask him a question about something he seemed annoyed. I should have walked out right then but I was really hungry and wanted to try the wings. So as far as the customer service goes, they get ZERO stars. Now on to the actual place. Everything appeared pretty clean. It wasn't busy when I stopped by so there was plenty of seating. After dealing with rude Abdul, our wings took approximately 10 minutes to come out. We ordered original hot classic buffalo wings and fries. The buffalo wings are the only thing saving this review. They were crispy, hot, and good. The fries on the other hand were not my favorite. My husband also didn't really like them. I went into wingstop after being out of town due to a family emergency. I ordered from wingstop regularly prior, to leaving for a few weeks. When I went in I hadn't placed my order on line like a normally did, and went entering the front cashier Ashley recognized me and mentioned she hadn't seen me in a while. It felt good to know she remembered me and my order. It took me by surprise because I wasn't in the best mood mentally and was somewhat in my own thoughts. It put a smile on my face to know that a place that I frequent regularly noticed my absence. Ashley had always been a pleasure speaking to me casually before, but I made a note to remember her name this visit. On Saturday Night , I door dashed here and it was amazing, so amazing my husband ordered today Friday evening (next week) and well unfortunately it is not the same , the only thing I can vouch for tasting the same are the ranch dressing given to us. Please be consistent. Saturday's garlic Parmesan were nicely smothered with garlic Parmesan butter and the Korean were where you can see pepper flakes in the sauce which was again smothered in the wings and even on the bottom parchment paper. We decided to give this 4 Manassas location a try and Ashley who works there made the experience both over the phone and in person absolutely amazing. Sweet as tea over the phone and awesome attention to customer details in person. This location will be seeing us 3-4 times a month specifically because of how Ashley treated us both on the phone and in person. The food was cook as we remembered it from California! Sadly they ended the grape flavor for their sodas, and I was really sad thinking nothing would be as great as a grape mellow yellow, but surprise! They have "citrus twist" and they're doing it right again. Came in to pick up an order my wife placed. When I arrived I was told it was coming right up. I told them the name it was under and everything. After waiting for 7 mins watching 3 other customers WALK in behind me receive their order. I went to ask the the guy what about my order and he stumbled and fumbled up an excuse as to why my order wasn't ready when he said it was. What I believe happened was that he didn't care to actually HEAR the name I had given him and ASSUMED I was picking up an order that I actually wasn't. I've been enjoying wing stop since the original restaurant opened in Garland Texas. Wing Stop has always demonstrated a sense of pride in their product especially since they specialize in wings. The Portsmouth Station Wingstop in Manasses has disappointed in both product & customer service. We ordered family size wings and French fries to go, but once we made it home, we realized the wings were not the flavor we selected. We traveled back to Wingstop to inform management, and we encountered confrontation, instead of resolutions to resolve order. First, the associate Ashley accused us of not purchasing the food from Portsmouth Station b/c she didn't she didn't "remember our face" even after we showed our receipt. Fawad, the Manager, attempted to resolve the failed order by replacing only the wings, but we also asked to have the fries replaced since we were already 40min from the original order. Fawad refused to replace the fries. We left w/o our complete order and contacted Amir the GM. Amir returned our call 2wks later and agreed to provide a 50% discount on our next visit. Since we live in Loudoun County, our next visit to Portsmouth Station Wingstop was two months later. We contacted Amir, and he didn't acknowledge ever informing us about a discount for our next family size order. Bottom line, our experience was not pleasant, and Amir blew us off after we spent our money at his location to have his team fail on our order. read more

One thing I like about this place is that they cook to order. It takes a little longer, but it's fresher, and if you call ahead, then your order will be ready when you get there. But that's about all I like. The wings had little flavor, and they were overcooked. We got the garlic and Parmesan wings, and they were covered with some sort of white dust which I guess was supposed to be the garlic and/or Parmesan flavoring, but I could taste neither garlic nor Parmesan. We also got the mild which looked like it was covered by your standard buffalo sauce, but the sauce had no flavor, no flavor at all. Overall these were the worst wings that I've ever had at any restaurant. We also got the Korean style which is supposedly available for a limited time only, and that was pretty good. You can order standard wings or boneless, and they have various sides including fries, veggie sticks, potato salad and coleslaw. You can eat in or take out. Best option I've found in this area for wings. Hands down the best ranch I've ever had at a restaurant. Their original hot flavor is perfect and like a medium at many places. The one time I got mild it was oily and weird so now I only get hot. My kids love the BBQ wings. I would have given five stars but there is an inconsistency in what you are given sometimes. Sometimes the cheese fries have fries and cheese separate. Sometimes they are together. Sometimes they accidentally give you regular fries and forget the cheese altogether. So while occasionally they leave something out, it is the exception and not the norm. Ordering on the app is easy and this location is very efficient. Currently they don't allow you to dine in even though there are tables where you can sit once you get your food.
