Very poor service from franchise owner. We will not be eating at this franchise ever again. We ordered from Grubhub for personal pickup at the restaurant. Upon arriving, I was told the order was already picked up and after driving back home; no delivery was made prior to leaving or arriving back home. Grubhub had no record of a driver picking up and delivering the order. I have ordered from Grubhub before and if the food will be picked up and delivered to a location; Grubhub kindly shows the drivers information. There was none of this. The restaurant were positive someone picked up the order and if it were true; it must have been someone off the street since Grubhub nor I had the food. When asking for the manager the same person (a female in her teens or early 20s) proceeded to tell me she was the "general" manager and there were no other above her anywhere. She claimed to be the owner of the franchise and there was nothing she could do. I asked for """here""" franchise number and she refused. If it were the same person who gave me a receipt when I came to pickup the order is ":Ximena" then she was to young to run a full franchise. Anyone be warned when ordering for a pickup.. your food, may or may not be there and you are left hanging without your food. If you do continue to order from this Firehouse sub franchise on Liberia Av, make sure you have a backup plan for lunch. Very sad!!! read more

Have only visited once, early afternoon about a week before the whole Covid-19 panic started. Staff was very friendly, sandwich was delicious. They gave me a bag for the remainder of my sub and offered to wrap it for me but I declined and thanked them. They all thanked me for stopping by. Well we decided to order from here. We ordered 3 sandwiches and made them combos with chips and cookies. When we went to pick the order up we went and got our 3 drinks and left. We got home and as we sat down to eat, alas no chips or cookies! Why would we bother to put the order in, get charged for them and not give them to us. Very disappointed! read more

I have loved Firehouse Subs for a long time, but will no longer be ordering from them in the future. Some time ago, they stopped doing their own deliveries, so I've had to order through Doordash, etc. Of the last 6 or so orders, only 1 order has arrived with everything I ordered. Since the Doordash drivers are extremely speedy in leaving before you have a chance to check over the order, if something is missing, you're out of luck. You can request a refund through Doordash for the missing items, but Firehouse will not bring you the missing items. For the last several orders, I've taken the additional step to call Firehouse (after placing my orders via Doordash) to ask them to ensure that everything I ordered gets in the bag for Doordash to deliver. Yet, Firehouse isn't able to get the orders correct. Customer service has truly gone downhill over the years, and my experiences with Firehouse have been an example of that. read more

I called to place an order with them and when they picked up a young girl answered and said hello and I replied and I could here her on the other end of the phone laughing and talking to her co workers and I waited politely because I understand some people need to have fun. But then she hung up on me and so I called again and placed my order once I was done placing the order I asked if I could pay over the phone and she very begrudgingly said yes you can, yeah yeah as she sighed and it made it very clear she didn't want to it was very rude and unprofessional I understand it may not be a part of your job you enjoy but there is no reason you should be talking to customers like that. We ordered delivery and our order arrived incomplete. When we called the restaurant we were told that they didn't have drivers and we'd have to come get it ourselves. We ordered delivery because we CAN'T go get it ourselves tonight. We then called the corporate office who told us it is independently owned and there is nothing they can do about it, so basically we were robbed. The item they neglected to bring us was not cheap. We will NEVER EVER go to or order from Firehouse EVER again. They wouldn't even let us talk to the manager. The person who answered the phone pretended she would get the manager and just hung up. Yes!! This place has the most delicious sandwiches you will ever taste. They are delicious and moist and delicious and flavorful and delicious and.... Did I mention delicious? I am a sandwich lover to start with. Now don't get me wrong, I don't just love any sandwich. But a sandwich that is properly made rivals most other meals. And this place has it figured out!!! They steam their meat and cheese before placing it on a deliciously toasted piece of bread. I'm telling you, folks, I heard angels singing while I was biting into this loaf of deliciousness. Heard that they have a Ruben sub and just had to stop in for lunch one weekday. The staff who works there are friendly and it was easy to place my order and make modifications to the sub. It had been awhile since I had been to a firehouse subs. My wife and I ordered online. It was nice to be able to customize the subs to our liking. I had never done that in the store. Last week we ordered from Firehouse, then went to pick it up and was so happy to see the sign up that they were serving the Kings Hawaiian Pork and Slaw sandwich again. So this week I called to order it for pick up, and was told by the manager that they did not have it and had never had it! My friend and I came here after getting pedicures across the street. I had coupons, "Purchase any medium/large size drink and receive a free medium sub". I had only been to Firehouse subs one other time (with a coupon as well), so I had to think about what I wanted. I ordered the Hook & Ladder and the friendly young cashier said if you get the combo, you can get the drink and chips for $2 and some change, well shux u won me over! That's what I did. All the workers we interacted with were young and friendly, considering the fact that they were closing in about 50mins I appreciated that. It was quick and friendly, what more do you need from a sub shop. Considering, I had a coupon the price was great, but I can't see myself paying $6+ for one of those sandwiches to be honest. read more

We ordered online (via GrubHub), and the best I could give it (service, delivery time, food quality) is "incredibly lacking". Our sandwiches kind of had the consistency of mush (they were really "wet" feeling, and the bread was soggy and kind of gooey). The sandwiches were falling apart, and everything kind of squished out of one end when you bit into it. Not much care was used in the assembly of the sandwiches (more lettuce on the outside than in). The chili was a thick, bland, grayish-brown meatpaste that both my wife and I took a bite of and quietly went "Nope!". It's sad when your first thought is "I should have gone to Wendy's". Worse, we only received half of our order (some of our drinks, chips and chili were missing). When we called to complain they made it seem like we had somehow really inconvenienced them. The delivery person brought the rest of the food, laughed and said "I'm new, I keep forgetting things!". Yes, but half the order? Eh. Not the worst, but really, REALLY lacking all around. Went there yesterday for lunch at 1245. Ordered right away but it took over 20 minutes to get my food. Ordered the medium cheddar and beef brisket and it had 3 thin slices of brisket on it and one slice of cheddar. I basically ate a brisket flavored bread sandwich. As a vegetarian, it's hard finding a good veggie sub. It was my first time at a firehouse subs and the veggie was great. I loved the sautéed onions and peppers and they were pretty fast. The cashier was super patient with me and answered my million questions. Will be back to this place! read more

I originally wanted the chicken salad sandwich, which was advertised online and on menu, but this location doesn't have it. -1 star because why not have this? So I ordered the turkey verde without cheese. So maybe because there wasn't any cheese on the sandwich to keep the verde sauce from making the bread drippy and gooey, but it made it too gross to eat the top part of the bread with the sauce on it because it was so soggy. If I could give them a negative star rating, I would. I ordered a large sub and 2 chilis for delivery. After paying in advance, we were minus 1 chili from the order. No biggie, right? WRONG! I called and spoke to some young thing. As soon as I explained the situation to her she stated that there was nothing she could do. She could not deliver it, so I could come in and pick it up. This is after paying the 3.99 delivery fee. No other options were offered. Not even a refund for the missing item. She hung up on me. I called the corporate hq who stated that since it was an independently owned store, there was nothing they could do. Call back and speak to the manager. I called back and asked to speak with the manager. Same young thing answered. I asked to speak to the manager. Initially, she stated that there was no manager. I asked to speak to whomever was in charge. She said ok, waited like two seconds, and tried to say that she was in charge. This time, I hung up on her. ONLY ORDER HERE IF YOU DON'T WANT THE GOODS AND SERVICES YOU PAY FOR. They are incredibly rude and dishonest. Save your time, money, and frustration and go somewhere else. read more

As it was my 1st time, the cashier was very patient in understanding what I wanted on my sub & how I wanted it made, giving me plenty of time to ask questions. They're subs are great and they are quick in preparing. The staff is pretty nice, too. Definitely a step up from Subway.

I use the app to order and it's never ready by the pick up time. I went in today and they literally had me waiting on a sandwich for 30 minutes and it was already made they just didn't tell me so I sat there for no reason and waisted a good portion of my afternoon when the app is supposed to make things easier and more convenient. This store probably has the most incompetent workers I've ever seen. Nothing wrong with the taste of the sandwiches. Nothing wrong with purchasing a sandwich either; as long as you eat it there in the establishment. Ordering via Doordash, etc., this place does NOT SEAL THEIR BAGS with safety stickers! We're in the midst of a freaking pandemic, and these dummies will send open bags out for delivery. I contacted the establishment once, and they claimed that they do indeed seal the bags. Okay...perhaps they forgot about my bag just that once. But then, I ordered again, and the same thing.....NO SAFETY SEAL ON THE BAG! This time, I complained to the corporate, AND the restaurant I ordered from. Took them days to respond, and when they did, it was with a big lie; saying they sealed the bag, and that the Doordash driver probably removed the sticker, and that I had to contact Doordash, blah, blah, blah. Yeah, whatever! So the DD drivers don't tamper with anyone else's bags, except mine, huh? Sounds nothing like the truth. Furthermore, if a DD driver removed the safety seal, I would be able to SEE evidence of that. Plain and simple, Firehouse DOES NOT use safety seals! I don't care what lie to tell you! I first went to Firehouse in the beginning of February. I had a coupon for purchase any medium drink and receive a free sub. The service was excellent! The second I walked through the door I was greeted. The menu is not overwhelming and could easily chose what I wanted quickly. The cashier who greeted me was friendly. I ordered the meatball sub and it was so good! Better than Subway in my opinion! Service was fast and they brought it out to me when my order was ready. I love Firehouse! So much that my 2nd visit was a couple weeks later! I will recommend this place to everyone! read more
