The food was amazing. My partner and I were craving burgers, but then we saw the price of the plates and sandwiches and gave in to that instead. I haven't had luck finding great halal food since leaving NYC... this is it. It's so good. Reasonably priced, good portion sizes! read more

Mmm I was pleasantly surprised to find a nice halal food restaurant like this in a Manassas strip mall. No shade, Manassas . I'm just saying, who knew ‍? Before going in, I read some Yelp reviews and they were on point. The ambiance is clean, decorated, inviting, with soft lighting. The cashier and cook were quiet but nice. Not shouting or overly excited to chat me up. He was soft spoken, cautiously shy, but nice. Once he realized that I was cool and knew what I wanted, his serious face softened and he opened up. The cook easily smiled. There's no music, just sizzling sounds from the grill. There's a funny message on the bathroom floor the sink needs updating and it needs a nice soap dispenser with quality soap. Other the that, the place is nice. Would be a spot to go on a date. The vibe is grown and sexy, not kiddish like other burger joints. So don't expect crayons on the table and high chairs. Now to the food. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice platter. They plated it quickly. It camed with fresh salad, pita bread, and a few French fries on top . They covered everything with their delicious white sauce. I asked to have the hot sauce on the side bcz I wasn't sure how hot it was. I like spicy but some hot sauces can ruin the dish. Their sauce wasn't too hot, but I'm glad I got it on the side. The chicken was moist, flavorful, well seasoned, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything was fresh, moist, and piping hot. I could tell the meat was halal bcz it had a fresh chickeny taste. If you know, you know. I ordered extra pita bread. The platter comes with 2 pieces but the extra comes with 4. I'm so full! I took half my platter to go with 3/4 of the extra pita bread. I'll save it for dinner. The platters come with a full tray. If you come for lunch, you'll be stuffed probably sleepy like I am rn. Take the rest home. If you come here starving, you'll leave full and satisfied. I only paid $12 plus $1.50 for extra pita bread. That's a steal in this economy! I hope they don't increase the prices after reading this. I'll be back, inshallah . Thanks for the good lunch and chill energy. read more

10/10 EVERY TIME!!!! The food is consistently amazing. Best burgers in our area no competition. Service is always great even when the food takes a while to prepare they are always communicative. Ambiance is fantastic. Plenty of room to sit and chill. One of the only spots we've been to several times. So glad they're in manassas! read more

First time trying Krave Shack, and I was really impressed with the food. The burgers were some of the best I've had, and the onion rings were perfectly crispy. The flavor of the smash burger was better than just about any burger I've ordered, and I loved that it was a smash burger--two patties didn't feel overwhelming at all. The spot itself was cute, though I wasn't entirely sure about handicap or wheelchair accessibility, as there appeared to be a raised step near most of the seating. Service was friendly but a bit awkward; there wasn't much of a greeting, and the staff were mute until we placed our order. Like he just stood there. That said, the food was amazing, and I'd definitely go back for the same meal. read more

Wow, what a great lunch. First time visiting this establishment and what a hidden gem. Wasn't expecting much but was blown away by the food and price. The smash burgers here are delicious, perfectly cooked. Their service is fast, everyone is nice and the restaurant is clean with a retro ambiance. I met a friend at Krave Shack for lunch due to the great reviews and it didn't disappoint. I wasn't quite sure what to expect and was pleasantly surprised to learn it's a halal restaurant. The menu is varied, and includes burgers, pita sandwiches, and rice platters. I kept and safe and went with the gyro over rice. It was topped off with chopped lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tons of sauce (you get to pick which ones). It was all very filling. We were one of a few tables occupied when I visited, but there were a ton of online pick up orders. Overall, great find and good for groups, though tables only got four people. read more

Krave Shack - Mix Gyro (Chicken & Lamb) - Halal Near Me - Manassas, Virginia

The place is really cute. The many is pretty stylish looking and the inside would be a great place to come hang and get some great food. We tried most of the dishes on the menu, the beef and lamb gyro was excellent, the lamb gyro on rice is great and is such a massive portion for the price. They really offer great food at good prices. The service was excellent the staff was cool. Good vibes, worth a visit. read more

We tried Krave Shack a few weeks back and it was pretty good! We wanted to grab some quick carry-out dinner, so we headed there and ordered at the counter. The inside includes a place to order and tables to sit at. They took our order and we ended up waiting for a full 30 minutes inside. I was a little surprised it took so long. A lot of similar spots usually will need a longer lead time for online pre-orders, but not for those who order in-person. The food itself was very good, with nice portions and fresh ingredients. My husband and I both got the platter meals. The salads didn't have dressing, which I thought was odd, but their white sauce was delicious with the falafel. I enjoyed the fries and they were very crunchy. I ended up actually making two meals of my platter since the portions were so generous. If we come back, I would likely would order online and wait to pick-up. read more

We started coming here regularly for their big (wide not tall) delicious juicy messy smash burgers. We finally tried the chicken and rice bowl. SO GOOD! We often grab a meal here when we are on this side of town. Our favorite place for this type of chicken and rice bowl. read more

We got takeout from here tonight, and it was outrageously delicious! We are traveling from Maine to Florida and staying the night in the area. I wanted something quick and easy, but not fried fast food. I found this place on Yelp and it looked good, so after we settled into the room I ventured out to get dinner. I had the rice bowl with chicken ($9.99), and it might just be the best one I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the rice was outrageously good. I don't know what they did, but I could taste some cinnamon and other spices which made a delicious explosion of flavors in every bite. The salad was super fresh, and that white sauce....oh my! Mine also had the hot sauce- which I wasn't sure about but that was how it came so I figured why not?! It was the perfect compliment to the white sauce. It added a little bit of spice, but not too much. My partner had the lamb gyro rice bowl ($9.99). He got the sauce on the side because he is not a sauce guy (crazy right??!) He loved every bite, and ate every bit of his bowl. He is British, and apparently Gyro's are a staple in England. He is extremely picky about his meat, and he said this was excellent. We also got a side of falafel ($3.99). It came with a green sauce that has a strong cilantro flavor and was delicious. The falafel was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and not dry or crumbly at all. Even my partner dipped into the sauce. It was that good. We come through the area a couple times a year on our long north/south drive, and I expect this will be our go-to dinner every time we pass through. Highly recommended! read more

Krave Shack - Chicken sandwich was amazing and definitely the fries goes with it. - Halal Near Me - Manassas, Virginia

We were around the area and indecisive on what we wanted, so the variety and prices got us to give it a try. When you go in it's quite unassuming. I wasn't feeling a sandwich so I went with the mixed rice plate. It has gyro meat (lamb), chicken, yellow rice, salad (tomato, lettuce, cucumber, and some herbs), pita wedges, some fries (unexpected surprise), and I decided to go white sauce and hot sauce. My wife had the chicken sandwich, and we also got mozzarella sticks. I definitely ordered hungry because although I finished my plate, I probably should have taken some home. The flavors were really good. I took a bite of the chicken sandwich which was very crispy. Mozzarella sticks were done just right (marinara left something to be desired, but that's not a draw for me.) If we were closer, I'd be here quite often. read more

Crave shack is my favorite halal restaurant in Manassas. They only offer fresh meats and ingredients, and the value you get is amazing: delish dishes with large portions at reasonably competitive prices. I am very picky when it comes to lamb meat and this is one of few places that offers some of the best lamb kabob. I had their Lamb gyro over rice on my first visit earlier in the year and recently returned to have their Beef & lamb gyro platter. I cannot get enough of their food and am so glad they are in Manassas when I am there for meetings. Highly recommended for halal food, gyro and burger lovers. read more

This is my new favorite place. Just get the Krave fries if you can't decide. They were really all I should have gotten. Add anything else and it's just a lot of food! The food was delicious. The people working there were very friendly and helpful if you can't decide. There are a limited number of booths but we witnessed most people getting take-out! It's in a strip shopping center with plenty of parking. read more

Fast casual place with lots of seating. Clean, bright, and staff were very friendly. We got the cheeseburger, sweet potato fries, and a falafal rice place. There's a new halal fast casual restaurant in town serving up some tasty food. It's located in a shopping center that has seen better days (a lot of empty storefronts), so this place deserves an extra signal boost. Krave Shack serves a variety of meats (beef, lamb, chicken) as well as falafel, in a variety of ways. You can get a rice platter, "regular" platter, gyro or salad. I tried the regular platter which comes with meat, fries, pita and a side salad. I tried the mix option (chicken and lamb) and my friend tried the lamb and beef. The meat was so tasty and flavorful. It came with a side of the hot sauce which was spicy but still really good. There was a generous portion of fries and pita. The side salad came with a vinaigrette that was refreshing. I ended up leaving Krave Shack feeling stuffed and satisfied. This is a great option for grabbing a gyro--I'll definitely be back! read more

I like that they are open late. They make everything fresh. Burgers are a little overpriced for their size but they are juicy and delicious. Do note that as they get closer to closing time (11pm when I went) they have less of their menu available. I would recommend getting a burger or one of their rice dishes, as the chicken tenders (and I assume, by proxy the chicken sandwich) is very average. Ample seating. read more
