Came here for the grand opening as I was super excited to hear they opened a location closeby! If you don't know, now you will. The owner greeted us promptly and provided us some great recommendations. The ambiance and location is very clean and parking is accessible. We of course ordered the original chicken, toppokki, snow chicken, and fries with seasoning. The original chicken was super crispy and flavorful, snow onion was so delicious, and the toppokki was spicy and sweet. For an easy fried chicken place this beats the other places! Service is friendly and I recommend trying it out.

Such a cool concept! Very welcoming environment and delicious chicken. Ordered the whole 8 piece chicken with garlic soy and red hot pepper saufries and mu radish. The chicken is crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. If we pass through the area again we will be back.

Greeted at the door and got to try sauces prior to ordering. The store is really clean and has great k-pop music playing. I ordered the spicy garlic drumsticks with rice as a side. Tastes fantastic.

It's the best fried chicken I've ever had. Their wait time estimates are pretty much always accurate, and the restaurant is kept tidy

Before going in, I read some Yelp reviews and they were on point. The ambiance is clean, decorated, inviting, with soft lighting. The cashier and cook were quiet but nice. Not shouting or overly excited to chat me up. He was soft spoken, cautiously shy, but nice. Once he realized that I was cool and knew what I wanted, his serious face softened and he opened up. The cook easily smiled. There's no music, just sizzling sounds from the grill. There's a funny message on the bathroom floor the sink needs updating and it needs a nice soap dispenser with quality soap. Other the that, the place is nice. Would be a spot to go on a date. The vibe is grown and sexy, not kiddish like other burger joints. So don't expect crayons on the table and high chairs. Now to the food. I ordered the Chicken Over Rice platter. They plated it quickly. It camed with fresh salad, pita bread, and a few French fries on top . They covered everything with their delicious white sauce. I asked to have the hot sauce on the side bcz I wasn't sure how hot it was. I like spicy but some hot sauces can ruin the dish. Their sauce wasn't too hot, but I'm glad I got it on the side. The chicken was moist, flavorful, well seasoned, marinated, and lightly grilled. Everything was fresh, moist, and piping hot. I could tell the meat was halal bcz it had a fresh chickeny taste. If you know, you know. I ordered extra pita bread. The platter comes with 2 pieces but the extra comes with 4. I'm so full! I took half my platter to go with 3/4 of the extra pita bread. I'll save it for dinner. The platters come with a full tray. If you come for lunch, you'll be stuffed probably sleepy like I am rn. Take the rest home. If you come here starving, you'll leave full and satisfied. I only paid $12 plus $1.50 for extra pita bread. That's a steal in this economy! I hope they don't increase the prices after reading this. I'll be back, inshallah . Thanks for the good lunch and chill energy.

Hearing that sentiment I was intrigued because I never thought about a fish gyro. So when it came out the staff asked what would I like one it. I'm not gonna lie the fish was cooked to perfection. Golden brown and looking like your favorite uncle made it. I asked for the works and as he struggled to close the sandwich I had a bit of excitement on my face, because I was ready for my 2009 chipotle wrapped gyro (not sure if they still fill them like that). And the first bite I felt like an influencer who got paid to give there opinion. Making one of those OMG I can't believe this food taste so good faces willing to throw anything around (I threw my napkin across the table for the effect). But seriously the gyro was really good, it was satisfying, light and immensely flavorful. The restaurant was clean and tidy. Its worth a trip if your in the area and your welcome for the gem!

Unfortunately, the sauce was on the weaker side compared to other spots around here, so it didn't really save it. That said, the service was really good--everyone was friendly and on top of things. I'm…read morenot sure if it's under new management, new staff, or a different cook, but things are not the same. The once generous portions have shrunk down to something similar to Chipotle-sized servings. The staff, who used to be delightful, now seem less friendly, and the food just doesn't have the same flavor. Last week, I called to place an order, and they were out of rice. A few days later, I tried again, and when I picked up my food, I noticed the portion size had significantly decreased. Today, I tried to place an order at 7:30 pm for pickup at 8:30 pm, well within their posted store hours of 9:00 pm. The gentleman on the phone informed me that they couldn't prepare my order because they close at 8:20 pm. When I mentioned that their posted closing time was 9:00 pm, he explained that although they close at 9:00 pm, the kitchen shuts down by 8:30 pm, and I needed to pick up my food before then. I had already requested my order at 7:30 pm, well within their timeline, so this was frustrating. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business back to Kabob Corner in Fredericksburg or Stafford.

They have their lunch buffet on weekdays, which is great, as most places only seem to do this on weekends. First impression when walking in was it was a converted Ruby Tuesday, but WOW, they did an EXCELLENT job from replacing the entire ceiling, flooring, tables/booths and even the window shades, to fully updating the restroom too, they clearly dumped a lot of money and effort into this place and it shows! The buffet looks beautiful, not grimey and messy, rather all food items are in clamshell heated servers, which kept the food fresh and piping hot. The offering was excellent, with a plain rice and a more elaborate rice, called Palau. The Qaubili Palau was incredible! Loaded with fresh ingredients and made with an outstanding quality basmati! The lamb that was in it was super tender and not gamey at all, rather perfectly seasoned and sooo very tasty! They also offered a more plain rice, which was slightly seasoned and also very good! Another fav of mine were their meatballs... they tasted like a mild lamb and were just as tender as that too (not sure if they're lamb tho). Flavor of the curry they were in was excellent! Their chick peas and subzi (spinach) were excellent alternatives for those not wanting meat... I definitely enjoyed a few servings of these!! Chicken kabob was beautiful in color and nicely flavored with a tenderness that was spot-on. Service was friendly and they even sincerely cared how the food was, by asking. I'd definitely suggest stopping in to try it for yourself and I look forward to returning, soon!

From 2011-2017, in the foodie wonderland of Portland, homicide detective Nick Burkhardt, alongside…read morehis partner Hank, investigated crimes in and among the intersecting creature communities of Wesen (pronounced Vessen), whose true forms often only Nick can see, because he is a Grimm or ancestral monster-hunter. But what if, instead of the Douglas fir-dominated city of Portland, those thriving communities of Wesen could be found instead in the small town of Laurel, Maryland, centrally located between the major metropolises of Baltimore and Washington, DC? And what if, as in the show, Nick temporarily lost his Grimm abilities and had to resort to observing what, to the rest of us, looks like human behavior? Nick would have to choose spots that would appeal to multiple communities. One such spot, located at 13600 Baltimore Ave, adjacent to PetSmart, is Jalapeño Fresh Mexican Bistro, which serves memorable Halal Mexican dishes (taco bowls, quesadillas, burritos) in addition to delicious Halal Afghan and Indian fusion entrees (Tandoori Chicken, Lamb Shank or Chops, the Chicken Tikka Club, Veggie Platter, Kofta, and Naan). There, Nick might come across the reformed Blutbad (wolf) Monroe, a clock repairer, who, to the disdain of his family, has shunned red meat and become a vegetarian; the Fuchsbau (fox) Rosalie, whose woge (pronounced vohguh) transformation is much more subtle and who shares a similarly powerful sense of smell; the helpful yet cowardly and often-meddling Eisbiber (ice beaver) Bud; or even one of the darker, more dangerous species--the Hexenbiest (witch-beast), Hundjager (dog-hunter), or Lausenschange (snake). All might find entrees for purchase that appeal to their cloaked or hidden forms. But, if you bring kids, be cautious to avoid the weeping woman seated at a corner table, outwardly showing grief for her lost children. She might just be La Llorona, a specter even a Grimm should be wary of.
