Golden brown and looking like your favorite uncle made it. I asked for the works and as he struggled to close the sandwich I had a bit of excitement on my face, because I was ready for my 2009 chipotle wrapped gyro (not sure if they still fill them like that). And the first bite I felt like an influencer who got paid to give there opinion. Making one of those OMG I can't believe this food taste so good faces willing to throw anything around (I threw my napkin across the table for the effect). Today, I tried to place an order at 7:30 pm for pickup at 8:30 pm, well within their posted store hours of 9:00 pm. The gentleman on the phone informed me that they couldn't prepare my order because they close at 8:20 pm. When I mentioned that their posted closing time was 9:00 pm, he explained that although they close at 9:00 pm, the kitchen shuts down by 8:30 pm, and I needed to pick up my food before then. I had already requested my order at 7:30 pm, well within their timeline, so this was frustrating. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my business back to Kabob Corner in Fredericksburg or Stafford.

Sign as you walk in says "carry out only," but there's a couple highchair tables that allow you to wait for your food. It's a small place, meant for you to order takeout. Order-taker was very pleasant. I asked if it was okay to sit there and eat my sandwich and was told yes. The 8" sub came on a delicious toasted bun. The steak was well seasoned and had a good amount of gooey melted cheese on top. This is a solid sub and I would definitely come back to have it again. I'd also return to try some of the other food that looks delicious on their website.
