    Kung Pao Chicken
    Kyle S.

Ordering was easy with payment only required upon pickup. Menu has a good selection but not many options for the picky child eater. Food was ready on time and plenty of sauces were provided during checkout. Food quality was as expected. Flavor was standard. Nothing stood out as above average (two entrees and an appetizer evaluated) in regards to flavor. Good proportion size which was above expectations.

Chicken broccoli pieces were of varying sizes.. some were thin some were thick... I prefer mine to be all relatively the same size... these were not... the broccoli was good - the chicken good. the sauce had a nice taste to it ... the white rice the meal came with was alright... as far as white rice goes... wish they would have put more than 1 singular soy sauce packet in the whole bag.... I question how fresh the rice is, because all around the outside of the container it came in was dried rice stuck to it... All-in-all a decent meal. Not the best Chinese I've had, but also not bad... 7/10

Stopped in for an early dinner. This small place works if you're looking to get straight to the point! Staff is very friendly and food came out quickly. Big portions, but not much protein or veggies included. Tasted pretty good after adding sauces, but had to order a side of chicken to complete the meal.

Service here was quick and friendly. Called in for a to-go order and it was estimated to be done in 10 minutes. Got there and my order was completed and ready to go. Got their lo mein with beef--cooked perfectly and great portion. Did have to add more soy sauce to it for my liking but glad it wasn't overly seasoned.

Stopped in for dinner and was not disappointed. Small dining area was clean and comfortable. Our meals were served family style so we were able to enjoy sharing each dish. Small staff was attentive. Only drawback was drinks are charged by can-still chilled with ice provided as well. Will be back the sauces had great flavor and everything was fresh.

The orange chicken was good and the spring roll. The best was definitely the fried rice and broccoli. Service was good too, they didn't understand what we were saying but at the of the day we got our orders exact.

The hot and sour soup was good. The General Tso's chicken was not as spicy as I like and had very little sauce.

Overpriced but not a lot of options in the area. Food is very average... the service is fast and they are courteous though.

Such a cute restaurant in a really nice shopping plaza in Haymarket. Easy to find and I saw a couple other places to explore there, as well, at another time. -Walking in to Thai Peppers, there were 3 other people at tables eating. A small sitting area that was actually quite nice and cozy. We sat in a booth and decided to order Sa-Tay for appetizer. 4 small chicken pieces on skewers along side a cucumber salad. We dipped the chicken into the Thai peanut sauce, which was delicious. I can't wait to make my own version of the cucumber salad. That was slightly addicting! -later our lunch came out. Great looking dishes of Green Curry and Crying Tiger Steak. We each had two smaller plates and shared both orders. What a great idea. The Green Curry had chicken, green peas, bell peppers bamboo shoots with coconut milk and was something I couldn't get enough of. If it had dough balls in it, it'd be like eating chicken and dumplings! Really good food. The Crying Tiger was just what it said. Marinated steak with steamed broccoli and Thai dipping sauce. It came with a bamboo basket of sticky rice, which I thought was interesting and very good. The steak had a great smokey flavor to it but my favorite today, was the Green Curry. I hope to be back to try more, soon!

Dined in for lunch on a sunday with the family. We ordered: -pad thai with chicken: extremely salty & was seasoned with soy sauce & sugar. Not the traditional savory-sour tamarind sauce. -Pad see ew: also super salty. Same soy sauce/sugar seasoning. No umami flavor that is typically found with oyster or fish sauce. The thick noodles themselves were nicely cooked -baby corn with pork from the wok section: only dish that wasn't overly salted, however still tasted of just soy sauce & sugar Recently moved from Fairfax & was hoping to find a new go-to thai spot. Unfortunately, this isn't it. My husband & I started having severe stomach pain & bloating within an hour after lunch. Likely from the baby corn pork dish, which our kids did not eat (their stomachs were fine). The hunt continues for a good thai spot in the area. For now, we will continue to drive back to Fairfax.

I found the dish tasteless and the pork tough. When she got her order of that same dish, she found it bland as well. We both left over almost all of these dishes and didn't take any home. I was surprised that they didn't ask if it was ok given how much we left over. My original order of Thai tossed noodles (spicy) was just ok. I took the remainder home thinking I'd finish it at dinner, but it didn't smell all that appetizing so I ended up not eating it. Was disappointed that they actually made us (me) pay for the dish that I got that was supposed to be my friend's ($15). But the real reason I wouldn't return is that I didn't particularly enjoy the food. It wasn't awful, just not that particularly good.
