Ordered delivery. Food arrived Luke warm; to be expected with delivery. Food was bland. No distinguishing flavors between the different meals (General Tso's chicken, chicken Lo mein or chicken fried rice). It was not bad , it just wasn't great. Make sure you have soy sauce- you will need it. On the plus side: Egg rolls were a classic! Took me back to my childhood days with crispy egg rolls filled with cabbage and ground beef.

General Tsos lunch special with fried rice

Picked up order Honestly I've done better with TV dinners Hot and sour soup: probably from a can by the taste and consistency and they just added unprepared tofu served with not home made crispy noodles Egg roll: again from a freezer and not even fried up right General tso chicken with fried rice: was a compliment to the tv dinner people I really wanted this place to not suck

My first visit will be my last... I ordered off of their website... the lady told me when I arrived that the website is wrong as far as prices go... the prices are now very high for the quality of food. My total was 50 dollars. I paid for a pu pu platter (12.75) and a 6piece crab Rangoon (5.45) The crab rangoons tasted like they had been sitting and were double fried. They was no filling in them hardly. The pu pu platter- only thing I have to say that was good was the teriyaki beef sticks. My shrimp tempura was not cooked all the way through, Still batter. I ordered as well, the orange chicken and general tso chicken and it had a weird taste to it. Nothing was flavored. And my husband got "fried rice" with his orange chicken and it was bland. Nothing in it. Honestly looks like it has just soy sauce in it for color.

The food was terrible I ordered shrimp egg foo young I did not see any vegetables any onions the egg foo young was very fluffy which I like but it appears as though they're using something like cornstarch worse egg foo young I've had in my life

Still in COVID protocol; good doesn't have much flavor. More than likely, will not return.

Subsequent visits were disappointing because of sour past vegetables in the dishes. Too bad.

Good place to get take out in Gainesville/Haymarket. They're quick and minus once when they over spiced an order really consistent.

I cannot believe how awful this food is! By far the worst Chinese I've ever had. Two bites of every dish and I threw it right in the trash.

Plenty of other options were available for when I get my tolerance for spicy food back, as the place leans Szechuan. Takeout was an efficient process even though they did not take online payments; I just paid when I got there. The location is a bit past the airport, which is probably a better place to look for Chinese food than most of downtown DC.

You get good food at reasonable prices. Some of my favorites include Crispy Shredded Beef in Spicy Sauce, Fried Chicken Nuggets with Basil (a Taiwanese native favorite), and Wrinkled String Beans. Crispy Shrimp with Honey Walnuts is also really good. They offer a wide variety from stir-fries and noodle dishes to seafood, pork, beef, and vegetarian/vegan-friendly options. The kitchen is very accommodating. If you want milder spice, less oil, or custom tweaks, they seem pretty open to it. Because it's not one of those fancy places, the vibe stays relaxed and unpretentious, which I personally like. It's nice for families, friends, or a simple meal out without fuss. I also like to order take-out. :)

For those of you who dig it, want it with a small sushi bar as well? Then this is your place. It's a bit redneck but the food is pretty standard texmex style Chinese food (by that I mean it isn't traditional it's Americanized, general tso, sesame chicken etc). Want a high class sit down experience like some of these reviews seem to have set their sights on? Then this isn't the place and they don't try to be. They just give you good food at a good price. The covid years really hurt them just like any local business but they have managed to pull through unlike a LOT of local establishments. So maybe cut them a bit of slack ok? Don't let the other reviews sway you, they have bones to pick apparently (yeesh some of them). I'm here to lay it out for ya. Get you some good Chinese food, you know the drill some of it's best fresh some after it sits a bit. Get you some cali rolls and TIP THAT MAN the sushi chefs do a GREAT job, it's always fresh!
