My wife and I were reluctant to visit the store and see if we would be stopped from coming past the front door carpet based on our relaxed vacation casual wear. The security welcomed us in and immediately the same elderly petite Asian lady with glasses, short grey hair looked us up and down and walked past us with out greeting. I immediately turned right and that's when two SAs were standing and we had a chance to work with Wen. Wen is 5 stars all the way! She didn't rush my wife, shared several pieces they had, but none were which wife wanted. Wen brought out a new 2024 Fall bag that just arrived. We were told there was only one in all of HI. My wife loved it and it was an easy purchase thanks the Wen. We come to the island once a year and make purchases. We are not the typical wear the savings on our sleeve. We dress simple and appreciate those who don't judge based on what we wear. We don't wear suits or gowns to malls, pretty sure not many do. Since the last experience, we only made international purchases from Chanel, amazing customer services like one we received from Wen. We hope the store manager takes seriously of their staff to not discriminate customers by looks. Some of the most successful individuals, only wear jeans and tshirt. Please praise Wen on her outstanding customer service. We will work directly again, mahalo.

I stand by my review I left a year ago for the Chanel boutique. Today I went to the store to purchase the black caviar wallet on a chain. Michelle and her manager Ken was able to ensure that I would be able to purchase this especially on my birthday. I happened to be visiting Kona from the mainland when Michelle notified me that the purse is available. So I hopped on a flight to HNL and headed straight to Ala Moana. Michelle is absolutely the sweetest and most kind sales associate I've ever encountered when making a purchase at a luxury boutique. She is just so genuine and not pushy at all and will give her honest opinion. Absolutely love that. Thank you Michelle for making my birthday extra special! Best birthday gift to myself ever!!!

Absolutely outstanding service time after time here. My SA, Coco, always tries her best to find items and either have it shipped or ready for pick up when I come visit. The selection at this Chanel is amazing and I'm actually shocked to see certain pieces that are out on display. I highly recommend getting a SA since lines do tend to be long at this location, but once you enter it is well worth the wait.

Chanel is located towards the middle of Ala Moana Shopping Center across from Louis Vuitton. The security at the door limits how many people can go in the store and asks customers to sanitize their hands upon entering. I was greeted by the manager who asked what I was interested in looking for. He was helpful with showing me options and gave me his opinion when I was deciding on my item. I was later helped by a sales associate who was also friendly. She even gave me skincare samples to try.

Ah Chanel, it's probably one of the luxury brands I've heard the most from all the ladies, but I've heard them all! Women and fashion are inseparable, and for husbands and boyfriends, you just gotta accept it. Make them happy, and we can get our inseparable things! When you hear Chanel, you will immediately think of high-end quality and luxury with exceptional service that's similar to the other luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Hermès, and etc. I found it interesting reading the reviews regarding the service from the sales associates based on your appearance. While the sales associate should never judge a book by its cover, it's something that's sort of impulsive or ingrained in certain people's nature. I usually tell others to give the same customer service to every single person regardless. And honestly, it's really the low-key customers that are most willing to spend and easier to deal with. Anyway, I'm not sure what kind of impression I give to sales associates, but it's probably the low-key customer that does not want to spend lol. Chanel is locating in the middle of the second floor of Ala Moana Shopping Center. You can't miss it. There were two security guards at the door to check and sanitize you in as it's limited capacity inside. The store is very clean and organized and well-lit. My wife and I were greeted almost immediately, and helped by another sales associate. My wife knew what she wanted, but the salesperson showed her numerous styles with different patterns. I learned that Chanel is made in three different countries: Italy, France, and Spain. The sales associate was nice, friendly, and patient. She was quick and efficient checking us out and nicely wrapped up my wife's anniversary present. I did find it funny that we were asked if we want to buy a bag for 15 cents. You kinda have to, and their bags are nice! Do ladies love swinging around their many shopping bags in both their hands? Overall, a good experience throughout. Professional and friendly customer service by the whole staff. A very well kept and clean store. Everyone has masks and gloves on, and social distancing is enforced. Also, it's great to know that repairs are free in case something happens.

I visited during Covid so I made sure to make a shopping appointment so I wouldn't have to wait in the queue, although this did appear to go quickly. On my visits I worked with Mai and she was pleasant and I didn't feel pressured or rushed. I had a specific bag in mind but she was also so happy to show me many similar options so I could feel confident in my choice. She even showed me a bag that was on hold for waitlist and I loved it so much she offered to add me to the waitlist on the off chance that one may become available during my visit. Turns out a delivery was made the next day and Mai promptly texted me. Service was personable and just absolutely pleasant.

Recommend? Yes Day and time of visit: Wednesday, 11am After being let in through the doors, we are assigned our SA, Saori. She is knowledgeable, patient, kind and sweet. I had a few bags in mind and showed her the photos. She brought out similar bags but they didn't have the exact ones I wanted until I showed her my last wishlist item - wallet on chain. When she brought the bag out, I knew I had to have it as soon as I saw it. The entire purchasing process was easy, she kept the bag for me while we shopped the rest of Ala Moana. She helped my friend as well and kept her in the loop with other bags by texting her. Saori is very communicative and accommodating. I am looking forward to seeing her again and hoping she can procure more of my wishlist!

Met SA Edna Lee who was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect dark beige/caramel wallet on chain! They had really good stock and surprisingly a good number of classic flaps in black and gold. We came back a few days later since my SIL wanted to buy a bag as well and Edna helped us that day too. Wonderful experience. Would come back for sure!

Chanel Ala Moana has a better selection than Waikiki and I always look forward to visiting them when we come to the islands! The sales associates are all really nice and helpful. I buy all Chanel in Hawaii cause I only shop on vacation, and the extra 6% tax savings is worth it here. Shout out to Cindy for being patient with me shopping for myself and my sisters on FT! :)

I love Chanel! And this store. I should had bought a purse when I was in Europe so I can get back the tax but my husband insisted so we bought a bag from this store. The associates are all friendly. The bag I like wasn't available in the US so was kinda disappointed about that, nevertheless got something i like. The shop is meticulously clean. Transaction was also smooth and everone is pleasant and smiling. Customer service was good. But if you go to Chanel store, will never go back because you will end up broke. otherwise recommending this store.

Ala Moana Mall Chanel store has the best selection compared to the Waikiki store. Coco was our SA and I loved her honesty and transparency. I never got the feeling of being judge or dismissed here. I came in looking for the classic wallet chain but due to seasonality, I opted for the boy bag wallet chain. Chanel doesn't offer the 10% off their bags; it's only valid on their fine jewelry. But the tax here is 4.75% is worth the purchase. I saved $151 by purchasing a bag here in Honolulu vs. back in Los Angeles. Very happy with my purchase and I highly recommend Ubering here bc the parking lot is very confusing lol

The whole store is made up of Hawaiian themed merchandise. There were jewelry, cards, body care items and tons of clothes. They have some really cute items. I went in and out of the dressing rooms a few times while trying on outfits, and none of them had a basket or spot for purses. Each time I had to hang my handbag on a hanger with the clothes, since I refuse to put my handbag on the dirty ground. Finally, the very last dressing room I tried did have a basket at the bottom, which was much better. The clothing and jewelry are adorable -- some even look handmade -- and I did buy a few outfits and a cute pair of earrings. Prices are on the higher side, but the pieces are unique and eye-catching, so if you're looking for something different, it might be worth it. Unfortunately, checkout brought the experience down. Since I didn't need a bag, the sales associate handed me my clothes directly, but forgot my earrings. I didn't notice until I was halfway home. I tried looking everywhere for a phone number -- Yelp, the Ala Moana directory, the internet -- and couldn't find one. The only number I found just rang with no answer. So instead of calling, I had no choice but to drive all the way back through traffic. When I arrived, the sales associate saw me, handed me the earring, and said she was "going to text me." No apology, no "sorry for the inconvenience" -- nothing. Considering they have my number from the rewards program sign-up, that was disappointing. Overall, Sugar Sugar is a cute boutique with stylish pieces, but expect boutique pricing and limited dressing room amenities. The service could use improvement, especially when mistakes happen.
