I visited this store while on vacation to confirm my sizing before purchasing my wedding shoes. I confirmed that I am a size 36.5 and planned to order the shoes online to be delivered to my home. My sales associate instead offered to ship the shoes directly from the store, which I agreed to. When the shoes arrived, they were clearly in unacceptable condition and appeared to be a floor model. I was offered a refund since this exact style was no longer available, but I declined, as these were the shoes I had chosen specifically for my wedding. Ultimately, the manager went above and beyond by sourcing a brand new pair from Europe and sending them to my home. While I appreciate the manager's effort and care in resolving the situation, I am deeply disappointed that anyone thought it was acceptable to sell and ship a floor model in the first place. Throughout the process, there was significant denial and a lack of accountability from the store, and other associates appeared more focused on protecting a colleague than addressing the mistake. My actual new shoes were sent with a plastic on the sole while these ones weren't, and yet the receipt on my new shoes still credited the sales associate who initially gave me the worn pair. There needs to be accountability for actions, and poor behavior shouldn't be rewarded. Although the manager helped restore some confidence, the stress, time, and emotional energy this situation caused during wedding planning was unfair and reflects poorly on the integrity and professionalism of this brand. read more

This new store is located in Waikiki, since this is a newly renovated, the store is super nice and NEW! You do need to walk a few steps to get up to the store entrance, I forgot to check if there is a wheel chair access on the side. Inside is spacious, everything is well displace. As usual, there is a security guard at the front of the store. The sales person who help us is nice and friendly. There are a lot of chairs / room for me to sit and relax while my wife is shopping. They do have a parking structure next to the store and they will valet your parking. As for value, whatever makes you happy is worth the money right? read more

First time going into a Dior store (to pick a gift for my friend) and Ryan helped me. I already knew what I wanted so the entire process and experience was pretty quick. However, the actual wait to get inside the store is kind of annoying especially when you're waiting outside in the heat (the shade did help a bit). When I got to Dior, there was already a group ahead of me. I didn't think I would have to wait so long since there was only one group but I ended up waiting around 40 mins. The security guard at the door checked on us every few minutes and let us know that they would let us in when an associate was available. It probably took longer because there were about 2-3 other people with appointments that were able to go before us so if you do go, make an appointment! She told me it was Hawaii pricing but clearly I was overcharged. Dior website shows $420 and the SA sold the same earrings for $460 "Hawaii pricing." Hawaii pricing should be lower than the website price. See images attached showing same item # and different pricing. I'm going to call the store to get this corrected. Everyone reading this be sure to check the website price before your purchase. Edit: SA reached out and explained she scanned the wrong item. I was refunded the difference. Hubby and I walked in without an appointment and we were lucky that EJ was free. She was super sweet and helpful, she let me browse at my own pace. Love this store and their customer service! Other luxury boutique stores usually are very snooty and stalk you around the store, but not here. Every time I've been here, their staff has always been super helpful and extremely nice. They always have a smile on their faces which always makes for a better shopping experience. They let you browse around the store without being too intrusive. Also, another reason I love this store is because they have the special "Hawaii pricing" along with NO TAX. That's right... Extremely frustrating experience. I purchased a pair of Dior sunglasses at this location while on vacation. The SA, Christy, rushed the entire sale, and she had boxed everything up before I could see them and even asked me to pay immediately. I probably should've suspected something, but I just let it go. When I brought it back home to California, I realized the sunglasses were super loose on my face (not like the pair I had tried on in store). I messaged one of the SAs (at the Ala Moana location), and they said I could try to bring them in at my home state. I didn't have time to bring them in until after 30 days had passed. When I finally made the appointment to come in to a store near my house, I realized that there was nothing they could do, and when I tried to call this specific Waikiki location, several associates picked up but weren't willing to work with the issue at all even though they sold me a pair of defected sunglasses! Finally, after the 4th call, a manager picked up, and she said no one mentioned this to her all day. So frustrating! She did connect me to a manager near my house, and he did point out the sunglasses were strangely bent but could not confirm if they were defected. They were obviously very damaged! I have had to chase one Dior associate down after another, and nothing has been resolved. I had expressed several times that I just want an exchange or guidance to fix these sunglasses. I don't even care about getting my $ back at this point. The customer service is terrible for a luxury brand. I will never shop at Dior again. Beware: this location will sell defected items and is not willing to work with customers at all. read more

Ahead of my vacation a friend referred me to Livia who works at this location. 5 stars for exceptional service from Livia, leading up to my trip she asked me what styles/colors handbags I wanted to see so she could ensure they had the stock the day I visited. She was very accommodating and helped me push my appointment up a day when my schedule changed. The Dior store itself is a bit of a further walk and located across from Tommy Bahama near Chanel and Miu Miu. A two story location with purses, accessories, and shoes on the first floor and both men's and women's apparel on the second floor. Lots of stock and lots to choose from! Maybe it's the day I visited but I feel like this location has less of a wait and was less busy compared to the Ala Moana location. For those of you unsure of visiting Dior while in Hawaii but have been eyeing something for awhile I highly recommend making your purchase here as Dior has special "Hawaii pricing" which saves you hundreds compared to California on top of that sales tax in Hawaii is nearly half that of the Bay Area. This was the first stop I made off the plane (after checking into our hotel) because I knew I wanted a certain bag. My husband I walked in and met with Ryan Fujiyoshi. I knew exactly what I wanted but wasn't 100% sure about the color. He gave us the space we needed to discuss and didn't pressure us one way or the other. He gave his thoughtful advice when asked. When I finally decided the next day, I texted him to let him know. He immediately set aside a bag for me and was flexible with my changing schedule. Pick up was easy - he showed me the bag he set aside for me and even had me inspect it. It was a pretty quick approval as he had already carefully looked at the bag for me. Ryan is the best!! Do not buy from here. They will not allow u to exchange your items when go back home in the US mainland. I purchased a hoodie for my cousin from this location, we found out the size is too small when I already came back to LA. We tried to do an exchange to the local CD boutiques, but CD staff confirmed that they do not provide exchange or refund services in any CD locations the US mainland. That sucks!! I called the dior customer service, Dylan from Dior customer service told me that I need to pay $15 shipping fee to send the product back to CD in Honolulu, ok, fine, Dylan transferred my call to the honolulu dior boutique, and the manager of the store told me that the shipping fee for sending the hoodie back to their location is $60?!!! Same brand could not exchange to the same brand?!! Do not make sense. Staffs from the same company have different shipping rates? Really? I do not get it. This was my first purchasing experience with Dior, and Kristy made it such a lovely experience! She was so patient as she took me through a couple of options. I was looking for a crossbody bag in a lighter color way e.g. beige/gray/etc that also could be double strapped and worn as a shoulder bag. She showed me various colors and styles, and let me take my time trying them on. I also appreciated that she respectfully kept her distance when I was trying to come to a decision so that I didn't feel any pressure from her to make a purchase/choose one that was influenced by her opinion. Overall such a lovely experience -- we were also offered water while we waited for the purse to be wrapped, and a little rain bag to protect the purchase on our walk back to the hotel. What can I say, just stunning customer service! Grace is the best customer service rep I've encountered, especially at a high-end retailer. Not once did she make me feel like I was being watched, or hunted for a commission. I came in the store three times before finally making a purchase, one might assume on the third visit I wasn't ever going to buy anything. The first time I visited the store I was quite disheveled. I had just returned from a long trip with friends and had not shaven in months, to sum it up, I wasn't at my most presentable state. Grace didn't mind, she approached me like any other customer and answered all my questions. I initially came in to inquire about a repair for my Dior sunglasses. The second visit I had finally gotten a haircut and cleaned my beard up. This time I looked at some wallets, sunglasses, and handbags. I left the store without buying anything Finally, on my third visit, I got to see Grace again and she was just super friendly and made me feel like I was talking with a friend who really liked fashion. As always, she offered refreshments and showed me the bag I had expressed interest in. I told her I needed to think about it and that I would be back in half an hour. I really like to think through my purchases and make sure the piece I'm going to purchase is the best fit. Half an hour later I returned to the store and Grace cracked open the champagne and we finalized the purchase of my newest addition to my Dior collection. Grace, a knowledgeable, friendly and exceedingly competent Dior associate was invaluable in helping me choose and fit several pairs of brilliant sneakers. After the purchase, she offered to hand deliver them to our hotel so we could continue to shop unencumbered. This is for the exceptional service Dior provided when I broke my chain which I recently bought while on vacation. I purchased my bag in July and within a month of enjoying it, the chain broke. I contacted the store and was already prepared for the worst news that there might be a cost to replace it. But I got hold of the assistant director (Zinc) and his replacement (Michael) who were both helpful. I've never been a Dior customer but am familiar with the product. Tamami the counter manager helped me & in her very friendly, caring non pushy way also showed me a sample of the "prestige eye cream" I was really puffy that day (no sleep!) & the cream worked instantly! Long story short I was there for an hour she basically gave me a mini facial my skin was glowing! I only purchased the mascara because she gave me the samples to try.
