I went in thinking I'd want the black on black, but fell in love with black and gold. Service was amazing, we were greeted and shown every purse I wanted to look at. I compared and was shown how to shorten the chains. We were served sparkling water. I got the full experience of luxury shopping. I recommend shopping here as they had more selection of bags/shoes/accessories than the other YSL store on the island. I visited both, the other one was not welcoming and had small selection. 10/10! Can't wait to wear my new purse! read more

This was the first time I've been inside a YSL store. They follow COVID protocols and allow only a handful of customers in at a time. Once inside, you are appointed with a salesperson. Jason, helped me to find the bag of my dreams! I love my bag! Thank you, Jason! read more

I had a great experience. The bags are 20 percent less it's called the Hawaii or island price. Not sure why but if you are there might as well go check out what they have I saved 300 dollars on a bag I really wanted. Taxes are only 4 percent and that's really low. Love this store! I always buy Louis Vuitton and Chanel-- felt like it was time for a change! My boyfriend and I walked into this store with no plans for anything specific although I was in the market for a white or cream bag. Don't remember her name, but we had a lovely rep assist us! She was near by but not annoying. I ended up buying a gorgeous medium size cream bag and my boyfriend bought a new wallet. Both items are stunning and high quality! As others mentioned below, they do only allow a small handful of people in the store and I actually liked that better. Felt like we weren't rushed around and we got to see items without being right next to others. read more

The roommate and I were walking around Waikiki when we decided to wander into YSL. We got here on Thursday, February 28th around 5:45pm. KATE CLUTCH IN GRAIN DE POUDRE EMBOSSED LEATHER ($1,245): MONOGRAM SAINT LAURENT CLUTCH BAG WITH INTERLOCKING METAL YSL SIGNATURE *DIMENSIONS 10.5 x 4.9 x 2.0 INCHES *100% CALFSKIN LEATHER *GROSGRAIN LINING *MAGNETIC SNAP CLOSURE *SILVER-TONED HARDWARE *INTERIOR SLOT POCKET *MADE IN ITALY So I've always wanted a Yves Saint Laurent clutch. I just had a hard time justifying spending over a grand on a bag I'll only use on special occasions. When I found out this location was doing a 20% off sale, I was all over it! I've always wanted the kate clutch, so I just went for it. With the discount, it ended up being under $1k. Not bad for something I've been eyeing for almost a decade. The service here was excellent! I wasn't sure if I was set on the handbag I ultimately ended up getting. I actually was looking for a clutch with a removable strap as I love wearing things cross body. The sales associate helping me out brought me several options to look at. In the end, there wasn't anything that matched what I was looking for, so I went with my original choice. Such a great location. Especially when they are doing 20% off! read more

Jay-Ar was my point of contact during today's shopping experience and he was incredible! He was very sweet and patient with me as I glanced at several small bags. I dropped by the Ala Moana location earlier today where they fell so short of customer service I don't think I would ever go back to Ala Moana even if they expanded. I would do all my future shopping here at the Waikiki plaza. I came in with a small child and they super sweet with her as well. I was also here in May when I dropped by unexpectedly looking semi homeless and was still given exceptional service and patience. This is highly appreciated and noted. Thank you so much to everyone at YSL!! read more

Saint Laurent - picked up this light sage beauty! - Men's Clothing Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Short wait to get in on Saturday morning, and we were guided the whole time by a kind associate. She helped me look through the shoes and the leather goods-- I ended up being more drawn to the shoes, particularly the Opyum heel (YSL insignia as the heel high heeled sandals). She explained that it does require some breaking in of the front strap and explained the differences in material and versus the other styles. There's also a special discount for Hawaii store so it was a really good price for what it is. Professional and posh store!! Happy with purchase and happy that there's warranty and can go to any YSL store for potential repairs read more

Saint Laurent - What I got!! It was the last of my size - Men's Clothing Near Me - Honolulu, Hawaii

Bought my first every YSL here. For people that don't know, most luxury brand stores have special Hawaii pricing which means that it's cheaper to buy in Hawaii than in the mainland U.S. For YSL, it's 20% off the sticker price on everything. If you want more details, I wrote a whole blog post with pictures and prices here (https://www.theluxurylowdown.com/saint-laurent-hawaii-shopping-guide/). I bought the black envelope chain wallet and literally saved a couple of hundred dollars. Also, Hawaii's tax is only 4.5% so you save on that too. Overall, great customer service and selection of purses. I wish they had more selection of shoes but that's just me. Also, it looks like the store might be moving soon? I saw a bigger store closer to the Waikiki strip under construction with Saint Laurent all over it so I'm just assuming. read more

Long overdue review , but better late than never. My husband and I created our relationship with Jason as our SA maybe 4 years ago. and he's worth driving from Mililani to Waikiki. He is so knowledgeable and I'll always recommend him if I know anyone looking into purchasing YSL. Even during 2020 being so different , it was still great shopping in store with him. We definitely felt at ease and as if we're catching up with a friend. read more

Great and friendly staff! Shoutout to Ayato for accommodating me and my stepdad for our cardholders that we purchased back in April. For a kama'āina, I always prefer purchasing luxury goods in Hawaii because it's 20% cheaper than its mainland/continental US counterparts and VAT is only 4.712%. My Black Zippered Card Case in Gold Hardware was only $314.14 (Hawaii MSRP $300 + Hawaii VAT). Compare to Las Vegas, Nevada it would be $406.40 (mainland/continental US price $375 + 8.375% VAT). All together, I saved $92.26 for this item. Another example is the classic Black Small Kate Tassel in Gold Hardware, Hawaii its $1415.71 (Hawaii MSRP $1,352 + Hawaii VAT) while in Las Vegas, Nevada its $1,831.54 ($1690 + 8.375% VAT) which ends up to be a $415.83 difference. I plan to purchase the YSL Lou, WOC Mixed Metallase or Medium Envelope with the Gold Hardware in the coming future. You won't find a good deal anywhere else. read more

Highly recommend this location, and specifically Olga. She is experienced with YSL as she worked at a New York location before Hawaii. She takes the time to get to know your style while helping you. July 30, 2019 I stopped by to purchase the Small Loulou bag during my vacation in Honolulu. I was warmly greeted upon entering the boutique and many sales associates were willing to kindly assist me. There was a vast variety of items to choose from at this location. Also, there are not too many customers clustered in the store. Keep in mind that there is no street parking for this location so it will be best to walk and shop! I had an incredible experience purchasing my first YSL handbag at this location that I came back a week later to purchase another one. Please do purchase an item from here if you've been eyeing a piece from YSL for a while. Every single item is 20% off in Honolulu. Instagram @emthaw read more

I already had my heart set on a specific purse online but realized it was way smaller in person and I couldn't fit my sunglass case inside. The associate was awesome and showed me other purses that were a bit roomier. When it came time to purchase, she asked me if I wanted to use multiple credit cards for my purchase. I'm not sure if this is asked to everyone but it caught me off guard. I was confused at first why I'd need to use multiple cards then I realized maybe she thought I couldn't afford it? I honestly have no clue. Just a weird ending to the shopping experience and I've never had that asked before. read more

Excellent customer service! Yumi was very kind, responsive, and provided quality service via email. A week before my trip to Hawaii, I knew that I wanted to purchase my first YSL bag at Luxury Row. I went to the YSL website and reserved my bag since I saw on YouTube that the LouLou was a hot product. Yumi reached out immediately and explained the Hawaiian market price, which 20% percent off with a 4% sales tax. You really cannot be beat this, especially in the US! The day of my pickup, Ayuto assisted me and was kind to me as well. My overall experience was great and I'm glad that I picked this store. I look forward to returning back soon. Thank you again, Yumi! You are a gem! read more

This has to be our favorite Saint Laurent outlet store. The staff is super friendly and we don't feel they are pressuring us to purchase something. We browsed through the entire collection - as a matter of fact the entire inventory before making our final decision on 1 purse and 1 wallet. Congratulations on owning the first Yves St Laurent designed products - ever! The 4% island tax vs 10% on mainland also saved a ton of money. read more

My family and I went into the store last night to shop and purchase a bag. We were barely greeted by a male associate and he followed us around the entire store without saying one thing. He did not ask if we needed assistance, wanted to see anything or just inquire about our visit to the store. All of the other designer stores were extremely welcoming and had amazing customer service. YSL, you just lost a lot of business because we will be sharing this with everyone we know. Prada, Gucci, Louis, Fendi and Ferragamo are all amazing brands with excellent customer service. YSL, do better. Also, we did not catch the name of the associate who was working but he was a taller, Asian, male and the time was around 8:00 PM. Awful experience and this is something that needs to be looked into in order to guarantee the highest form of service. read more

20% off storewide & ONLY 4% tax - 100% Satisfaction - I had the BEST experience at this YSL location yesterday morning. I was in a time crunch since I had to catch a flight back to LA and Joe greeted me right when they opened and helped me find exactly what I was looking for, fast! This store is amazing. Not only did Joe let me know about the 20% storewide discount, tax is only 4% here as well so in total I saved close to $1k during this quick shopping trip! This discount is only good in store at this location. Please ask for Joe on all of your future YSL trips at this specific store. You will not regret it. I'm so happy with my purchase. I came in looking for a Sac De Jour Nano but I ended up with a couple other items since the discount was just too good! Living in LA I've experienced my fair share of stuck up sales people as soon as you enter the store not willing to help you but this store is completely opposite. They are extremely welcoming, helpful, kind and courteous. I would fly back to Hawaii JUST to buy all of my future YSL from this location from Joe, 100%! read more

I received the best customer service from Jason Chong. And for that reason, I'm giving this Saint Laurent 5/5 stars. What made the difference in Jason's customer service was his product knowledge. He immediately greeted my sister-in-law and I, the moment we walked in. And despite me choosing a bag I thought I liked, Jason showed me several other options within my price point and explained why those were the better, more on trend options. His customer service is above and beyond and exemplary of how sales associates should treat customers. I left feeling completely satisfied with my purchases. Additionally, this boutique already had several 2020 ready-to-wear items on display, which I loved. Overall, the boutique is a decent size with lots to choose from and of course who can resist that wonderfully low Hawaii state tax! read more

My experience at this store FAR exceeded my expectations. Joe was super friendly, approachable, and patient. I appreciated that he was not pushy at all and let me hold a bag for 48H so I could think about it. They had a really extensive selection of colors and pointed out the differences between the various models that I might not have considered (like where the shoulder strap attaches). He explained to us that the store is 20% less than the mainland because they have a lot of customers from places like Canada and Australia where their dollar is a lot weaker. I saved about $500 when you add in the 4% HI tax. AMAZING. read more

I received really great customer service here. It was pretty late so there wasn't a whole lot of people in the store. Jason helped me and he was wonderful! Never once felt pressured. He answered all of my questions and never seemed annoyed when I asked for a newer bag (not store display). I was a little indecisive about which color I wanted but he helped me choose a color. The store is spacious and there is a good selection of handbags. I love that stores here open late. Of course gotta love the discount and lower tax rate here! This location was super close to our hotel, about 5 min walk or less. I was told they are relocating soon. Not sure but I think their new location will be across the street. Parking: not sure where you can park. It's a busy street. If you're staying in one of the hotels close to Waikiki, it will probably be best to walk or take a Lyft. Location: located close to other luxury stores like Chanel and Gucci. Tip: ask for Jason! He is the most helpful SA ever! He is informative and super patient! read more

Oh my god Jason is amazing! I contacted the store a little over a few weeks before my trip to inquire about a pair of sandals and a few bags I was interested in getting. Not only was he able to find what I was looking for, but he was responsive to all of my texts about all things YSL related. I could tell that he cared about the client's happiness when it came to purchasing designer goods. Fast forward to the day I went to the store to pick up my things. Jason greeted me and showed me my sandals and bag which were even more gorgeous in person. I appreciated his feedback whenever I asked him his opinion on the look or fit, it was like shopping with your friend. We even convinced my cousin to buy a card holder for her boyfriend which he loved! We came in after a day at Kualoa Ranch so we weren't exactly dressed nicely but everyone at the store was so welcoming and I never got a pretentious vibe at all. I couldn't have had a better experience at a designer store. I've been to many and it's always seemed more like a transaction then having a genuine experience like this. I will definitely contact Jason again for any of my YSL needs! read more

I am on my honeymoon and was hoping to buy a special souvenir. I first went to Louie and the sales associate/ shopping experience was such a turn off that I left disappointed. A few days later I decided to check out Saint Laurent. From the bat my husband and I were warmly welcomed. If you want a relaxing and low-key luxury shopping experience, come to Saint Laurent. The staff here are incredibly courteous and helpful even on the phone! I was born and raised on Oahu but have been living in the Pacific Northwest for the past 8 years. I was going to be visiting for a brief 5 days and had been wanting the e/w shopping bag tote. I called 4 days before I flew in to ask if they had the tote in stock. Turns out they did and they offered to put it on hold for me. I went in on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted by ALL of the staff members as soon as I walked in. I gave them my name and Rylan offered for me to try on the floor model just to confirm if I wanted the bag or not. The bags from Saint Laurent are BEAUTIFUL. After letting him know that I still wanted it, Rylan went to the back to get the brand new bag that they had put on hold for me and allowed me to inspect it. He informed me that I would receive 20% off of the online pricing, and then after 4% Hawaii sales tax was added, I paid significantly less than the $995 price of this bag. Rylan was very thorough with explaining about the company and informed me that if I ever had any problems with the bag I could take it to any Saint Laurent, including internationally. After packing everything up, Rylan carried the bag and walked me to the front door. I loved it and would definitely go back to the waikiki location if I ever need anything! read more

Absolutely no complaints for this store. I've been waiting forever to buy an arty ring (almost bought it in Vegas last year and in LA for Christmas; couldn't justify the purchase yet) but the boyfriend wanted to buy me one as a graduation/commencement present so we waited till we were in Hawai'i to buy it. Tax is cheaper of course so that was a factor in deciding to wait to buy. Not that it makes a BIG difference but you can save a little. I like to think of it as more spam musubis for me! Went in and the sales associate was very helpful in having me try different sizes for the arty rings. They didn't have the gold/black one but I ended up with the silver/black one which was fine because I was going to buy that anyway if I ended up with the gold/black first. It was just a matter of which to buy first. Thanks YSL for a pleasant shopping experience for my very first arty ring! I'll be back for another arty ring verrry soon! read more

While on a layover in Hawaii back in March, we came by to find a graduation present for my sister. We were told by our sales associate, Joe, that prices at their store are 20% cheaper than Los Angeles. Hearing that and knowing sales tax is significantly lower than LA, we couldn't leave without a bag. Joe was a really great salesman without being pushy and obnoxious. He found out that my sister was looking for a bag in pale pink/blush, and he brought out every. single. bag. they had remotely close to that colorway. Talk about going above and beyond! Very smart on his part actually, instead of bringing a couple bags out at a time and doing more work. After purchasing, we asked for extra store bags to take home because they looked so nice. He didn't hesitate to generously bring us a few more in all different sizes. Highly recommend asking for Joe to help you with all your Saint Laurent needs! read more
