The store was clean, organized, and had a relaxed feeling but this Five star review is for Mandy Wai - her customer service is everything you would expect and more. I showed her a picture of what I want & was able to snag the Prada Re-Edition 2005 bag. She offered me the last burgundy piece in US but I opt-ed in to black color to be on the safe side. Lol! Also, I noticed it didn't come with a box. Sent her a text about it & I was informed it doesn't usually come with a packaging box. I know I can't afford anything in the store but a girl can dream. I walked in and looked around. I didn't think I was going to be in there long. It's a big store and two stories so I probably could have took my time looking around. The employee was helpful when I looked at some purses. I saw this beautiful black crocodile skin purse and of course it was $20,000. I got to touch it though lol. He was informative and told me all about the purse and it's origin. A purse that cost that much you damn right it better have an origin story. The black leather purse behind it was only $1,800 lol. Maybe if I saved A LOT I would maybe think about owning a Prada purse. read more

Agree with Michael Y's review. Door is locked and no door man. We stood there for 5-10 minutes and no one even acknowledged us. A customer pointed us out to one of the sales clerks, who looked at us and laughed. Horrible location. Even Walmart has better service, at least walmart has a door person who greets you. read more

Loved it. For vacationers, this Prada Boutique has a Hawaiian exclusive. If you love the newly advertised collection of clutches and bags adorned with large feminine BOWS, then snatch up an ALL PINK nylon version of the expandable tote. It's super affordable at less than $600 with tax. Very roomy with utilitarian pockets. 300 were exclusively made in a large tote size (they don't have the special all-pink bow style in a handbag size). I snagged #28. *woohoo* Even though #44 was the lowest numbered purse displayed outside, one of the several ladies helping me out checked the books and found that #28 was still available. She rushed to the next floor to track it down for me. Which brings me to another point, the fantastic customer service. Before I finalized my decision on the pink Hawaiian exclusive, I was shown several other bags within my budget (they didn't look down on me because I was on "less than $1000" budget). They explained the ups and downs of each. They even gave me tips on inspecting how the fabric met around the seams, the alignment of the trademark lining, and the quality of the stitching. By the time I chose my bag, I was very confident in my decision. They were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They serve you wine, but I asked for orange juice, which was promptly supplied. They even gave all my friends milk and cookies, even though they weren't doing anything but being obnoxious, loitering around and screwing with the sunglasses and small accessories. I was served little chocolate mints as well. And all the women were very talkative and friendly. I think Prada is one of the most affordable luxury brands. And considering the spectacular service, I'd choose Prada over Louis Vuitton any day. read more

If you live in CA, you'll want to shop here as the retail prices are almost 10% less. Work with Eric. He was very helpful via email and phone. I was looking for a specific style/size Prada bag, but every store told me it didn't exist. I had a business card of the lady who helped me here years ago which had the store's email address so I emailed them of what I was looking for. Then one of the staff, Eric emailed me back and advised that it didn't exist, but that he'd keep an eye out for me. I was a little skeptical as that's what all the other stores told me too. Then a month later, he emailed me back to tell me that they just got 2 in stock! I was so excited that I emailed him back right away. You do have to pay your local sales tax and $30 shipping fee, but it's still cheaper than to buy it here in CA. I worked with him over the phone to give him my credit card #. Also, I had advised Eric that I'd be out of town the following week and that I had to get it that week so he even Fed Ex'd it Overnight. The only minor annoying part was that for email/phone orders, they have to ship to the billing address and with the signature being required, you either have to be home to sign for it or you'll have to pick it up at the Fed Ex distribution center. So that day of delivery, I called to see when the truck was returning to the center and picked it up. When I got home, I opened up the box to find my new handbag in a nice beautiful blue box definitely worth keeping. It was nicely packaged that I was so excited to take it out. I swear, some places would fit you with a burlap sack and try to convince you it looks good on you. Great service. A tip: get your limited edition items while they're still in store. Excellent customer service and level of professionalism! My boyfriend went in to look at clothes for work, and ended up getting a few casual pieces instead. The woman who helped us provided a very knowledgeable and helpful opinion on the fit of his clothes. Out of all the Waikiki boutiques, Prada was the most memorable to us. On a side note, she gave us short bread cookies and sparkling water while we were making our decisions. :) read more

I heart this Prada store. We were just strolling after our dinner at Roy's and I saw the bright pink Prada handbag with the bow. I walk in just to "see" it and fell in love right away. It was the limited edition Hawaii Prada bag in bright PINK (my fav color) with gold accents and I could not miss this opportunity. They let me choose the special edition number and the list had mostly names of Japanese people. The lady that helped me was really accomodating and sweet. I really liked how they let me choose the number and they had to go find that exact bag with the tag in the back and let me examine it. I got 108/300 (eight is a lucky number in Chinese). read more

Two summers in a row I have bought something from this store and both times their customer service was outstanding. I couldn't help but laugh at Janea's review because I had awful customer service at Gucci and that's when I decided to see if I liked any of the purses at Prada. Needless to say I walked away with a new purse and I'm sure it cost way more than the one I was eyeing at Gucci. Richard Blas was the associate who helped me with my purchase. He didn't rush me or leave to try and help someone else while I was looking. I'm sure I'll stop by next summer when we vacation in Hawaii again. read more

Great service. Nothing against the store but the purse I bought, the snap button broke off in 4 months. I only use that purse no more than 5 times too! I live in SF so I brought it to the store in SF and they sent it out for repair it since it was under warranty. But the repair process takes 3-6 weeks eeeek-----. It's been 3 weeks already and I am looking forward to see my purse again but it's quite disappointing to learn that it broke so fast. Another friend told me they had problems with their Prada purchases as well. It sucks to pay over $2000 for something and it's faulty. I hope they do more quality control on their products. It's quite annoying the repair takes 3-6 weeks. There goes another 2 months of warranty.... read more

LOVE. As another reviewer stated, cheaper here than in CA! I normally don't review stores, but the service at this location is really SUPERB. They're friendly, not snobby, they don't seem to judge you and are not pushy at all. I didn't feel the uncomfortable stares that I normally feel in designer boutiques when I touch an item. The sales associate left me with my selection of bags to ponder over & would check on me every so often as I continued pondering. Eventually I decided to splurge! My bank account isn't happy but I am! My item was 17% cheaper at this location than in SF + less taxes in HI, score! read more

I intentionally dress down when I walk into luxury/high-end stores such as this one to see who will treat people differently based on what you wear, what you look like. This store passed my test. A very nice SA noticed that I came into the store. Didn't hesitate for even a second - and started a conversation with me on a bag that I was interested in checking out. I know better than to reach to touch or grab a bag in stores like these but this SA was so sweet and said "Please, touch them and see if you like them. Take a look" - that was refreshing. When I expressed interest in a couple of the bags that were displayed, she took them down and showed them to me, even posed with the bags, gave me her advice on what color will go well with what I usually wear, etc. She was as pleasant, professional and as courteous as could be. She was impressed that I did my homework (on the sizes, the colors, the price, etc). Yep. I'm good like that. LOL I am a collector (some say hoarder) of bags and such and I do do my homework. Very lovely interior. The security guard was pleasant, the SA was pleasant. I unfortunately did not buy a bag this time because I didn't like the color when I actually saw it in front of me - but no doubt that I will be back. I asked the SA for her business card. My advice to some of these pricey high-end shops: Don't judge someone by the way they look. Some tourists never open their wallets and just love love loooove to browse. Some non-tourists (like myself) may come in wearing a beat up t-shirt and shorts and drop a couple of grands to buy something ;) Love this store. Will be back soon. read more

Customer Service is perfected!!!! I had a gift that I never used for many months with receipt- they were still able to exchange!!! I had bought goods from Bev Hills because there was numerous of bags & later one item I decided I didn't like once in Hawaii again they were able to exchange the one item!!!! This place is awesome! I bought a shirt here. Too bad I need to loose more weight to fit in it. The clothings here are cheaper than the mainland USA. The pricing structure considers Hawaii part of Asia :) That's a secret. They also have a lower sales Tax in Hawaii then most states back here. Especially california! I love Prada.
