They have a great selection of quality work boots and shoes, from brands like Keen, Sketchers, New Balance, Timberlands, Reebok, and more! The entire shopping experience was easy and hassle-free. She was friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to help me find the perfect fit without making me feel rushed. Her professionalism and attention to detail made all the difference. She must have gotten me over 6 pairs of shoes to try on and you could tell she really wanted to find the right shoe for my needs. I left with exactly what I needed and couldn't be happier with my purchase. I highly recommend Work Shoe Hawaii to anyone looking for quality safety footwear and exceptional customer service. Needed some new shoes for work. I walked in the showroom and was pleasantly greeted by 3 sales people! They were very friendly and very knowledgeable. They asked if I needed help and what kind of shoes I was looking for. I explained that I work outdoors in nature, spend a lot of time on ladders and climbing radio towers. Oh and flexibility was also a plus. I was showed a few selections and tried on several pairs. In the end, I ended up getting a pair of Keen Utility shoes and so far, I love them! Would definitely recommend this store for its friendly staff and great selection! read more

Every time I come in here for my work boots ALL the staff are so accommodating. Literally every single time I go there's a huge crowd and staff is all hands on deck. They float from customer to customer and help everyone in a timely manner without making you (well, me) feel rushed. They don't complain about your stinky, after work feet either! They didn't have the exact shoe I needed but we're getting a shipment the next week. They offered another pair to try but no luck so the nice girl offered to take my number and give me a call when shoes came in. I couldn't make it when I got their call so they held a pair in my size for me till I came in a couple days later. I absolutely LOVE getting my work shoes here. Good selection and many employers send their people here. read more

If you're looking for work shoes of any kind, this is the place to go! There is a good selection of brand shoes (steel toe) at reasonable prices. And the entire staff is helpful, pleasant and courteous! Excellent service! read more

Wide selection of work shoes. Store is easy to find and there are several stalls reserved specifically for the store. Customer service is great. Staff is very helpful and enthusiastic. Returns are easy, too. Just make sure you keep the receipt, shoes are unworn, and return it within 30 days. One probably could find cheaper shoes online, but how about helping out a local business? I'm sure they will appreciate it. Shout out to Brooklyn who assisted me today! read more

Great family owned business and very professional... helped me with what I needed. Excellent customer service !!

This business is the epitome of first class and exceptional customer service. I came here to get a pair of safety shoes because everyone I asked recommended this shop first. And now I know why. They are near the news building, on Waikamilo Road. Plenty of parking in their lot! We were greeted and instantly assisted by any worker who came near us. They showed me the women's safety shoes, which was a small selection on the wall. While small though, they did have a very wide range of shoes - waterproof, steel toe, lighter weight shoes - so there were definitely choices. If you're looking for men's sizes, you won't have any problem in selection. I tried on shoes, which they graciously offered immediately for me to try. There was no hesitation and they were exceptionally helpful in making my decision. I did end up with a lighter weight New Balance safety shoes and am 100% satisfied with my purchase. I think what sets them apart from other stores is their customer service. They made me feel extremely comfortable and didn't pressure me or rush me. They didn't mind grabbing any shoes I asked for or answering any of my questions. It's businesses like this that remind me to support local and spread the word. I really understand why this shop is a go-to, word of mouth choice for safety shoes. If you need safety shoes, make this your first (and only) stop! I'm sure you'll find something and you'll be helped by a lovely team! Thanks again, Work Shoe Hawaii team :D read more

Was tired of going to redwing and getting trash customer service and warranties. Been coming to work shoe Hawaii for a few years now. Definitely happy with my choices. Best work shoe buying experience I had yet, and very good customer service. Large amount of selection also. Will be back

4 stars for now as I feel customer service could be a little better as they are making a killing off our "contracted" shoes. On the other hand, they can be nice at times. Also, you know have bigger people, bring in bigger shoe. You know have smaller people, bring in smaller shoe. My opinion. Good/better selection! read more

First time visiting this store and was pleasantly surprised by the courtesy of the staff and the selection of their products. I never knew about this store, but found it while searching online. I wish I had known about this store sooner. I am tired of buying cheap poor quality shoes from Walmart and other stores seemed to be overpriced. The fit and price of the shoes I purchased were perfect. I'm definitely coming back. read more

This place is like heaven for the best safety shoes. I was gonna settle with whatever I can find either at Famous Footwear or what's on sale online, but I'm so glad I went to Work Shoe Hawaii to actually try different brands before buying it. Confrontational and unfriendly staff worker , some staff need to be re-trained. I also understand that Although some customers is at fault at times and customers are not always right , work shoe hawaii staff should be more courteous to their customer. i know that Every businesses has the right to refuse services to unruly customers and I do understand that, but how to you convey your message and reasoning if your approach with a workers whose attitude is horrible and argues with a customer, that's how I felt with work shoe hawaii. I know that a worker is not there to console and emotional customer, but it is a job of a worker to be respectful, as the saying goes " to get respect deserve respect". Management/Worker has an arrogant attitude ,disappointed in their lack of respect, No Aloha at all..ll read more

2 stars because i used to like their shoes and bought alot from there and actually recommended them to alot of my colleagues. Although nothing i can't get online and actually a little cheaper...a family business which used to have great service but was disappointed the last time i purchased two pairs within months of each other and didnt appreciate the cocky attitudes by both son and mother! customers have the right to ask a question about the product before purchasing and a simple answer is enough not a whole demonstration to try and prove them wrong. Customers are Not always right but they're buying your shoes! i'm good with red wing and amazon from now on! For me, SERVICE is worth way more than money, i'll gladly pay more if need be! read more

Im not too sure gow he found out about this place but its not hard to miss since its on the main street. Parking is not a problem. Its a small parking lot but its never busy. Right when we walked in we was greeted from i believe the owner & his son who runs their family business. The girls qas amazed ny the 2 HUGE shoes they have in store. I tell you, if you come here it wont disappoint you. All different name brands, even womens shoes too. My fiance noticed 1 shoe that caught his eyes & tried them on. It was also a new shoe that just came in. Sadly they didnt have his size in stock but it came in couple days later & he picked it up. Best part is that they have the lowest price from anyone & its name brands, not cheap fake ones that the spelling is wrong. Would we come back or recommend our family & friends to come check out this place? MOST DEFINITELY!! read more

This is hands down THE BEST place to get work shoes! The staff is very knowledgeable and point you in the right direction based on your needs. A few years back I was actually down sold on a cheaper pair of work boots that worked out perfect for me. You don't find that kind of honesty and thoughtfulness nowadays! I've had a bunch of Red Wing and Lehigh in the past and my two last purchases from Work Shoe Hawaii were much better, cheaper and lasted longer than those two over priced, high maka maka brands. My most recent purchase was a pair of Ariat boots and these are the by far the most comfortable boots I've every owned. I've probably had these a few months now and they've gotten more comfortable over time. The soles are soft yet supportive and the inside liner feels nice and plush. They've been submerged in water more than they should (chilled water pipe leaks) and my feet have always stayed dry. I'd highly recommend giving this brand a chance! Their selection is quite impressive as well. Everything from slip on safety toe boots like I wear, to safety toe shoes that look like sneakers! Safety toe Pumas are pretty cool! haha. They might actually make good gym shoes (I've dropped weights on my toes before) read more

I dropped by work shoe Hawaii to find shoes to hike and do home projects with. When I walked in, the place was full of customers, but what really caught my attention was how friendly and helpful the owners and their staff were. Although they were slammed with customers everyone got the attention they needed. While talking to the owners some he helped me to find the Merrell moab vertex mid, which was perfect for what I need and doesn't break the bank! I'm all about supporting local businesses, and with such friendly people running this store I look forward to going back for more shoes in the future. read more

Amazing customer service. My husbands third time buying work shoes from here. We came in 15 min til close to get new work shoes for my husband. The workers all greeted us and told us to take our time shopping. My husband recently hurt his knee and the worker brought a bunch of options out to us and opened them up for him and gave him a shoe horn to make it easier. He suggested a pair of insoles that my husband says are the best he's tried yet. The worker even offered extra copies of receipts in case he needed it to get reimbursed by his employer. Prices are so reasonable compared to other places he's purchased steel toes from. Not buying work shoes from any other place. read more

Thank you for perfecting service, this my second pair of steel toe shoes, but keep up the great service

I needed some new work shoes for my job and came here after passing it by many times, especially after their website showed they had some pretty good brands. When I got here, they had the exact shoe I wanted in my size. I was pretty stoked since I'm a size 13. If you don't wear 13s, they're not produced as much as smaller sizes so they're harder to find. I definitely recommend this place to anyone who works in restaurants or security because their all-black selection is dope. The staff was very friendly. I knew it was kamaaina owned but it's also a family business. They are very nice and you can tell they work hard for the customer. Lastly, the parking is good here and the store is easy to find, which are big pluses. I'm definitely coming here when I need work shoes in the future. read more

Went here to look for shoes. My husband has brought shoes from them when they were at their old location and he was always happy. There was a line outside, due to Covid the amount of people allowed in was limited. They are very Covid conscious. While inside l, someone took off their mask and they quickly reminded them to put their masks back on. They have a lot of selections from waterproof, steel tool, ankle high, boots, etc. Everyone is extremely helpful and very knowledgeable. Definitely the place to go if you are looking for work shoes read more

We come here for work shoes for my fiancé. Yes it's a little on the pricey side BUT worth the money spent because the shoes last for about 2 years. It's worth it to us because we're not buying shoes every 6 months. They offer both men and women's shoes that meet the work force requirements, they have waterproof and steel toe options as well. Mahalo Work Shoe Hawaii! We will be back! read more

Customer service is always great here. They are so helpful, never had a bad experience. I love the selection of shoes. I love the sneaker alloy toe! They have weird hours so make sure they're open before visiting. The parking lot isn't the best but there usually is parking, it's just a little tight. Hubby had to get his work boots here since they changed his shoes requirements at work. Prices are average for work boots, especially steel toe ones, but they're not the $30 kind that you can find at Payless or Ross. It's about $200 or so and up in a lot of cases. They do measure your feet to make sure you have proper sizing. And they do have multiple options in shoes sizes. The staff are very knowledgeable in the advantages of certain features of each particular shoe. With Covid and all. They are limiting customers to 4. They do open the doors for you as you enter and leave. They do have plexiglass dividers in the store. They also have options for men's and women's work shoes and even have a clearance section. Highly recommend. They are only open from Tuesday through Saturday, which makes it difficult for us to get to. All in all. Great experience read more

The family that runs this store is really helpful! I tried on 4 different pairs of shoes....they had my size in each style .....and when I finally found the pair I needed check out was a breeze. My company has an account with them so I showed them my work ID and that was it. She immediately knew which list to look on and it was very organized. Got my shoes in less then 20 min. It's a small store though so definitely crowded for sat afternoon. read more
