On this visit, we tried four Rainbow Cookie Donuts and four Cannoli Rainbow Cookie Donuts. While both were delicious, the clear favorite among our group was the Cannoli Rainbow Cookie Donut. The regular Rainbow Cookie Donuts were very tasty but extremely sweet, while the cannoli version had a better balance of flavors and was more enjoyable overall. The negative reviews are kind of funny because of what people are complaining about. One guy went here to get coffee? No, this is not the place to get coffee, walk in the door and see that, it's not what they do. I don't think they even have an espresso machine here. I do have to admit that Park Bake shop does do breads and bagels but they are not very good. I tried once or twice because they looked good but the taste just isn't there. But what they do well is cookies, cakes, and pastries. Pretty much anything in the cases are excellent. All the cookies are awesome, always fresh, and all reasonably priced. On this late Wednesday evening, I stopped in to find the LAST piece of rainbow crumb cake for the day. While they had plenty of the regular crumb cake and red velvet crumb cake, it's the rainbow cookie crumb cake that is my favorite. BTW, I recommend going earlier in the day to ensure you get exactly what you want. Luckily they still had what I just had to have. Additionally, they have a bunch of other baked goods.
