Best massage place!!! All the masseuses are amazing and know what they are doing. Professional and clean.

Massage was good but ruined by the high pressure to leave a $20 tip for a $69 combo massage. There were 3 of us and i was going to leave a $30 tip for my $207 bill. The guy asked $30 per person? When I said no, he gave a very high pressure pitch to leave at least $60. We left $50 and regretted it after leaving. Tipping is optional. I have a massage 1x month where I live in Hawaii. I pay $50 (senior rate) for a 1 hr great, deep massage and give a $5 tip. This tip amount is an accepted amount. I wouldn't pay $69/he again. read more

Always a great massage. The masseuse will always adjust to your liking. I usually like the combo massage which is half over the sheet and half oil. The environment is respectful, calm, and relaxing with great service - from the front desk to the back. I like how everyone has individual rooms instead of a cheap set up of curtains as dividers. Ive been to almost every other massage places from Van nuys to porter ranch and hands down this is the best one I've been to. Ever since my husband brought me here I've been coming here for almost 3 years and I don't plan on leaving. read more

Great clean business with five star customer service. Everything is clean and up to covid protocols. I love all of the services that are offered and at a competitive and reasonable price. The owner is down to earth and very attentive. I also love that they list all of the suggested gratuities without pressuring the clients. I was happy to give a $20 tip as it was well deserved. Thanks Chaba Thai Spa till my next visit. read more

Bo did a great job she took out the knots in my neck. It was very relaxing and I would come back

I had a lovely first time experience. My masseuse was Bo and I thought she was kind, caring, and attentive to my most problematic areas. I asked her to focus on my feet because I'm on them most of the day during work and she was incredibly thorough. Her pressure was firm, which is what I typically prefer, but she adjusted when some areas were too sensitive and not used to it. She even gave me words of wisdom and advice for taking care of my body now which is something I think about more as I get older. And I appreciate the tips given to especially take better care of my feet. Our bodies are amazingly tolerant of the stress we put them through. So shout out to Bo! :) I hope to return and would definitely recommend this place. read more

My first time at Chaba Thai Spa was an amazing experience! I got a deep tissue Thai massage from Kim. She is very knowledgeable and experienced. She knew exactly how much pressure to put and took care of all the knots and tightness that I had. I left there feeling like a new person. I will be coming back and will recommend to my friends! read more

Small place in a small strip mall. They do have a parking spot but if taken parking can be an issue. I've had 2 massages so far and really enjoy the place. A bit noisy inside sometimes when you are trying to relax with staff talking & baby crying. But it finally got quite and the massage was great. I've had Kim and she is strong and really works on you. I feel good afters and will be back. I enjoy getting Thai food next door after and going home. Do try this place you will enjoy. read more

Best massage I've ever had! I'm small but need a good amount of strength for knots and tension. Seemed like a piece of cake for Snow. Making this my go-to place from now on. I saw another review mention being in the same room I was in, close to the front desk area and that it was noisy for them, but my experience was the opposite. Very quiet and relaxing. Coming back asap! read more

I went for a massage today and Bo did such a wonderful job!!! Thank you so much Bo I feel amazing and I highly recommend this place.

Walked in on a whim and did NOT regret it! One of the best massages I ever had! Staff was super friendly and accommodating. Establishment is clean and the rooms are private and quiet. They even served me thai iced tea (a favorite of mine) when I was done. I look forward to coming back! read more

Thank you Chaba Thai Spa, and thank you Khun Snow. I walked in with absolutely tension and pain on my neck and leg area. After 1.5 hours with Snow, I left feeling totally relaxed and pain free (headache was gone). Like a complete different person. Definitely coming back again. read more

I had the combo massage from Bo and she was Fantastic! She really loosened up the knots in my shoulders and hips and gave very helpful advice on how to help with muscle issues. I will definitely go back to see her read more

I rarely write reviews but had to give 5 stars to Bo at Chaba Thai. I have had massages all over the States, in Canada and Europe. I have never had a deep tissue Thai massage like this. She is helping me heal. She knows exactly where to apply pressure and work on tightness and knots. I'm a breast cancer survivor. I had arthritis for years and had both hips replaced and a knee replacement all stemming from a dislocated hip at birth. I am blown away at how one 90 minute session with Bo has given me such pain relief and I am walking better and have tension and pain relief in my back, neck and shoulders where I harbor stress. I'm looking forward to many more healing sessions with Bo. I highly recommend Bo. read more

Kim was amazing! One of the best massages I have received. Facility is clean and well maintained. Room was quite and relaxing. Also price was very reasonable for an hour. Next time I'll be doing 90 mins. 10/10 for Thai massage. read more

I have been going to Chaba Thai for over 7 years. Not one complaint. My Masseuse Kim is absolutely fantastic. She knows me so well and just by touching she realizes where my pain is. Went back a second time and Sarah did my combination this time. AMAZING! Hurt so good lol! Will definitely be back again!!!

Found Chaba through a quick google search and didn't know what to expect, but it was incredible. Bo asked if I had any pain and worked hard to eliminate any problem areas. She was amazing and continued to ask how I was doing and make sure I was comfortable throughout the deep tissue massage. I'll definitely be back! read more

Today my wife and me had appointment. It's was professional staff, super friendly, clean .I recommend to guys

It was a Thursday night and i was in dire need of a massage for cheap! I saw this place and decided to give it a try. I called at 8:00 pm and scheduled my appointment for the same day at 9:00 pm. I mentioned that this was my first time and asked about the $5 yelp discount and they gave me the discount without any hastle. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early and was greeted by the friendly staff. Within a minute, they showed me to my massage room and introduced me to the masseuse. She was very friendly. The facilities were clean and sanitary. I got the sweedish massage and it was great. The masseuse asked if the pressure was okay and adjusted her technique to ease the aches in my lower back. My fave part was the hot towels! (not all massage places clean you up with the hot towels and you end up leaving extra greasy from the oils). Overall, I WILL be back! read more

Look at my profile. I'm honest, I HATE giving bad reviews, but when I feel like it's but public service to, and it might actually hurt the public if I don't, well, here I am. I was looking for a place to get a pre-natal massage since I'm 7 months pregnant and my lower back was killing me. My mom saw a brochure for Chaba and when I checked out the Yelp reviews it seemed legit, so I booked an appointment (last appointment of the day). When I got there everything was really nice, a very soothing and calm environment. I paid up-front ($69 for 1-hour) and the woman at the front desk brought me to my room where I laid down on a nice table. It was very clean and quiet. My therapist came in, asked me how I was, and I did the same. She said she was exhausted, they had made her work all day long, very long hours and she had a headache. Kind of an awkward way to start the session, since now I felt bad for her. But she made me feel comfortable with pillows and I was just desperate for a massage. When she began it was very nice and relaxing, but she kept sniffling and I thought, "well she probably has allergies, I do too, I get it". She asked how my pressure was and honestly, I wish it'd have been firmer but since she complained about her day, I felt bad even asking her to work harder! So she keeps sniffling away and blows her nose about every 10 min and I start to think, "I hope she's not sick because she's got her hands all over me". About 45 minutes in, I hear what sound like water splashing in a bucket and though, "oooo, this is where she puts a warm damp towel on my feet", but she started apologizing profusely and said she ate something bad. When I looked up, I realized she was throwing up in the corner of my 5x8 foot massage room! And not just a little, enough to where I thought it was running water splashing! I was in complete shock and I would have felt bad for her, but I'm 7 months pregnant and cannot afford to get sick from this woman whose been rubbing my body down with her germs. So I tell her it's okay, just go get cleaned up and I'll get dressed. She says she can finish the massage, but I tell her "no thank you". When I got to the lobby, the entire staff was getting ready to leave, and I don't think they realized what had happened, or else they weren't sympathetic. I went back and forth with them for about 20 minutes, they tried to give me a free massage coupon and I told them I didn't want to come back, but thank you. They offered me $15, then $20, but I told them I really just wanted my money back on my credit card. They told me they didn't know how to do a refund after they already closed their registers down, but I told them I really needed them to try. So they gave me back my money in cash in the end, after I explained what had happened in detail and how concerned I was that I was going to get sick, and how dangerous that was at this point in my pregnancy. Still, no apologies or begging for forgiveness which is the least I expected, but I just got out of there. I didn't yell at anybody, I wasn't mad, I was just in shock, and that should have NEVER happened. In fact I've never heard of it happening anywhere and I've had a LOT of massages in my life. I'm not looking to shut them down, but I could have, and they didn't seem to care. Wouldn't be surprised if she was back at work the next day... read more

I have had many massages in my lifetime. And, I have experienced both the fancy and hole in the wall places, but I gotta say, the Chaba Combo massage by Cindy was the best massage I have ever had! I have had a lot of neck, shoulder, and lower back pain for the past few months (but feels like forever). I've tried using the foam roller to remove my knots, done stretches at home, had a few massages, put Salonpas patches on, lathered Icyhot on me, etc. BUT it wasn't until I got my massage by Cindy that my aches/tightness from my body went away. This type of massage was a bit painful as she puts a good amount of pressure on my aching areas just like I had requested. I'm sure if you want it softer, you just need to tell her. Great overall experience and the place is clean! :) read more

Very reasonable prices. Super comfortable massage. I got the Swedish for 60 min. I'd like to go back and try their other services, like the facial and combo massages. read more

I first came to this place through a friend, fellow yelper Rasien!!!! Luckily, i have had thai massages in the past, but this place is by far the best i've had. I like the fact that i did not have to lay on the floor! :) After a few massages, i took my bf and he loves it, then my parents and sister!! they like it too. The owners are sisters who are very friendly! But as one of the review said do not go in expecting a full spa. It's just a massage parlor, no sauna or steam rooms etc The place itself is pretty small consisting of about 5 rooms and the couples room. I have yet to try out that room yet, but I've read reviews that it's a bit small. But massages are really good!!! I personally prefer Pear (yes, Pear as in fruit) to do my massages!! She's great!! I usually get the combo massage (thai & swedish) and have also gotten hot stone massage and have enjoyed both!! I've been back quite a few times, and will continue to go back. Thanks to Rasien for hooking us on to this place. :) read more

I highly recommend Chaba if you're looking for a good, solid massage in the Burbank/Glendale area. My upper back was killing me last night. I called at 7PM and Chaba got me in for a 1 hr appt by 7:30! The spa is small, but dark and soothing. Most importantly, it's very clean and aesthetically-pleasing. No, it's not Burke Williams but it's not as plain as the other local discount massage places. The guy at the receptionist desk was also very pleasant. If I was just ranking my massage therapist, Jasmine, I'd give her 5 STARS. She knew my upper back hurt and she went about her business like she actually (gasp!) cared! I've been to so many massage places where the therapist just goes through the motions to get you in and out of there in 60 minutes. My session with Jasmine was supposed to be a 1 Hr Combo, which I think was supposed to be a combo of Swedish/Deep Tissue. But I think after evaluating my tense back she did more of a Thai on me where she actually gets on my back and I think massages with knees/elbows?? Whatever it was, it was heaven! And when she broke out with the oil and tiger balm -- I knew she meant business! Oh, what I also appreciate about this place is their liberal use of hot wet towels on you, especially to clean your feet and take off any oils before they send you on their way. My couple of knocks on this place: because it's so small you can sometimes hear the noises outside which somewhat takes away from the spa experience. I heard a toilet flush, and no amount of spa music can drown that out. My other knock is they don't give you good instructions other than to take your clothes off and get under the thin white sheet. I usually take it all off when I get massages, but last night I kept on my undies. Thank goodness because the stretching that she was doing with my back and legs got me in some interesting positions and I was just thankful I had my undies on! I'm a total fan and will be back in a couple of weeks with Jasmine, this time for a 90 minute session :) By the way, don't believe any of the "happy endings" insinuations on here. They run a professional massage place and there are signs in the room basically stating that sexual harassment of their employees will not be tolerated. I think the issue isn't with Chaba but with some male customers and their ridiculous asian happy ending fantasies. read more

long overdue for a massage, but i've always been coming here. best massage.. had Kim and got the swedish massage early bird. will be coming back Update:5/8/19 got a microdermabrasion facial with Ela and it was great! much needed facial I will be coming back! read more

It's been about six months since I have been here after relocating my residence. Prior to moving, I was here on a monthly basis. I have been here atleast 20 times. I liked it because it was convenient and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is also very calming and relaxing. Soft music plays in the background and there is aromatherapy. When I first started coming, I could easily get in by calling a few hours in advance. Right around the time I moved, appointments were suggested. Chaba is located in a stripmall with a decent size parking lot. The lot can be fill up quickly though since it also houses a great Thai Restaurant right next door to Chaba. The restaurant is actually affliated with Chaba. (When I used to go there, they would bring you warm tea before the massage, and a cold sweet drink after. I don't know if they still do this.) Ample street parking is available. The spa itself is set up with a lobby followed by a long hallway with doors to the right that lead to the treatment rooms. (I think there were 4 or 5). There are massage tables (as opposed to the floor mats in many Thai places) in all the rooms I've ever been to. The place in clean and well decorated. Before the massage, they have a complimentary foot soak and scrub in a foot bowl filled with warm water, rose petals and lemon. The massage prices are $59.00/hr for Swedish, $69.00 for deep tissue, and higher for combinations. I usually went with the deep tissue, and was USUALLY satisfied with the massage. Out of the 20 times I have been here, I think I was disappointed 5 times. I used to always request and get the same two ladies (Paula and Kelly) but they left. After they left, it was hit and miss. I think the 5 bad experiences I had there was with the lady in charge (she was always there). My massages with her were less than relaxing. Perhaps she was just learning and is now better. But from what I remember, her hands moved way too fast and her motions were "jerky." It was not relaxing at all. The pressure was also lacking. I also noticed that the massages were getting shorter each time. My hour ended up being 50 minutes... Maybe they were starting to start the clock when the foot soak started?! Or, maybe they got so used to seeing me as a regular they thought I would not go elsewhere... (I know what you're thinking... It was the tip... Nope, I doubt that because I always tipped 25%.) If there were more consistency, I would tack on another star... Eventually, I will make my way back there. :) read more

Gave this place a try after my main massage therapist stepped down. I thought I'd never find anyone as good as her, but I did when I came to Chaba Thai. Came here and was impressed from start to finish. The deep tissue massage was firm and definitely healing. Kim really knows her trade and is one of the best therapist I've been to in a while. I definitely intend to repeat. read more

A very welcoming, clean, and female friendly spa! I only live 5 minutes away and pass it when I'm getting groceries. It looked so inviting that I had to try it out! I hadn't gotten a professional massage in probably 2 years. I had so much tension from working a front line job in the pandemic and just the regular the hustle and bustle of life! My masseuse Bo really hooked me up! I got the 60 min Combo Thai and Swedish massage. Perfect experience for someone needing a deeper and more intense massage experience. If you don't like a bit of pain I wouldn't try it and maybe stick to just the swedish massage. I REALLY needed the extra Stretching for my tight muscles. I feel like a new woman! What a lovely place! Please go see Bo and the rest of the wonderful people at Chaba! Your back will thank you! :) read more

Ok... so this was my first massage, and i have to say.... not quite what i was expecting. So i got the couples massage for my girlfriend and myself for V-day. they had a special going for $115 for 1 hour. I thought why not, good price and i could really use a massage, and I know my GF would love it too. we get there 15 mins early like they suggest, and im thinking we would get some sauna time or a foot bath. NOPE, the lady behind the front desk brings us to the first room (size of a closet) and says "please undress and they will be right with you" so Im not sure wether to fully unrobe or leave my boxers on. we decide to go full nude. so we hop on the beds and cover up with these sheer sheets, practically see thru. little awkward when the masseuse's came in. overall the massage was pretty good....i just gave into the fact that she is probably getting glimpses of my tackle everytime she moves my leg. She wasn't shy about getting in there. (inner thigh and butt) which felt great. foot massage was nice too. We both got the swedish massages and i believe a little thai mixed in. the ladies were pretty strong, only asked her once to ease up. Again, im pretty sure my package was exposed when asked to flip over. Oh well.... free show for her.... i may have had semi chub goin. hahaha at the end you get some sort of tea.... nothing special. I wouldn't be surprised if they offered "happy ending" for a little extra. bottom line: i guess you get what you pay for. I would not consider this a "spa" you get none of the spa treatments. but the massages are descent. this is a tough one, not sure if i would come back.... maybe for a 30 min back & foot massage. read more

I would have given this place 5 stars, but this place was my first massage and I can't compare it to anything else. :) YUM, yum, yum. Made a same-day appointment with no prob. I got the hour long Swedish massage. She got to all of these tense spots in my back that I didn't even know existed. It seemed she even took the time to work those tense spots out by focusing more on and around them. I honestly couldn't tell from what angle she was coming from! It felt so good and relaxing though. They put you in a super dark room with relaxing bird/waterfall music on. I gotta come back here. Make sure to use their Yelp offer! read more

I thought I had a bad experience here because I got a massage from a new trainee, but when I told the receptionist (who was fantastic) that I was not satisfied, I was called that same day with an apology from the owner and an offer to come back and give them another shot. I have to give them an good score for customer service at the very least!! Thanks. read more
