    Mineral room

First time at Spa LA and I had the best time. We enjoyed the waters. We did the hot and cold pools. We tried all the mineral rooms and I really saw a difference on my skin at the end. The place is extremely clean and everyone is really respectful. The service was great. Kim did my massage and it was a little to much pressure but I did enjoy the stretching she did on my body. The cherry on top is that they validate for parking.

A now CO-ED day spa in Koreatown, Spa LA is a large underground jjimjilbang with a bevy of different treatments and saunas. My wife and I visited on a weekday, with the service and sessions being good. Spa LA recently finished a large renovation/expansion resulting in the opening of a co-ed in early 2026. Previously, it was female only, with my wife/daughter coming for a mom/daughter spa day when we were still living in Santa Monica. This time, I wanted to treat my wife to a Simply Classic Body Scrub ($125 for one hour) and Mini Facial ($85 for 30 minutes), booking it on-line. They open at 9:00 am, so figured we could come a bit early for the appointments starting at 10:00. We took the train, and it was an easy walk from Normandie station on the Purple (D) Line. Once entering, the check-in desk is right in front. The attendant could be doing a tour, so need to wait until they come back. There are specials to reduce the price a bit and the knowledgeable front staff (Angela) helped us to apply what was applicable. The main one (follow them on Instagram) was to get 20% off a full facial for my wife, which also resulted in my entrance fee being reduced by half ($50 drops to $25, with wife fee being waived since she was having a treatment). The facial change required changing of the reservation times and esthetician availability, but it was no big deal (so must have good availability of staff for same day changes). You pay first with credit card, allowing a tip to be added later (though like most places, cash is preferred directly to the provider). We were both given locker keys that went around our wrists, and then Angela gave a tour of the underground facilities, focusing on the co-ed sections that I would use. Swimwear is mandatory for the co-ed sections, with the female section being exclusively no-swimwear (provided robes only, and au-naturelle in the spas). I was the only person (besides my wife) using the co-ed facilities during the 4 hours I was there. This meant 1). I could take pictures to post here 2). I could imagine the whole quiet place was mine, definitely making the $25 charge worth it for me. The spa closes at 9 pm, so one could spend the whole day if one want to. The male locker room was a typical set-up, with my locker containing slippers (so no need to bring your own), light robe, and towels. There is a large common area where they intend to put in a light snack bar in the future....for now, it is pretty barren. The centerpiece of the area is a foot-deep waterfall fountain, where you can lounge. I really liked the constant sound of moving water that it produced. There is a very large deep whirlpool and cold/ice water plunge pool (no thx). The steam sauna was fully prepped, with enough steam to make visibility non-existent...I could only last about 4 minutes at a time there. The dry sauna was pleasant, but not particularly hot, with the machine not producing much heat (the controls are out of the customer's hands). There are filtered water stations everywhere, private bathrooms which were nice, and cold water showers to rinse (before and after). Phones ARE allowed, with a decent private Wi-Fi (ask the attendant for the password, since cellular doesn't work down there). My wife went to the female section after checking out the co-ed area, and later told me the female-only area has a lot more facilities/treatments, including many different types of pools: akaline, citrus, mineral. As for the treatments, my wife later told me that both the esthetician (Michelle) and the masseuse (Helen) were very skilled, and took their job very seriously. My wife likes whole body scrubs in general, and knew what to expect. As for the full facial, it ended up being a bit too painful for her, so thinking if she does it again, a mini one would be more appropriate.

Updated remodel version of Wilshire spa. They have a closed paid parking lot adjacent. Love the remodel look. They do a coed version now Definitely will return. So many relaxing rooms. There are 3 different pools to soak, steam room, and sauna. Many stone rooms to detox and take a nap too Many Instagramable spots here too Check their website for body treatments too

Just got back from an amazing day at Spa LA! I'll admit, I was a little nervous when I heard they switched to a co-ed format, but no worries, there is still a women-only section. I arrived around 10 AM and it was pretty quiet, maybe six other people total. Staff were walking guests through the new co-ed area, and honestly, it's beautiful. I would come back just to hang out there. The co-ed section allows bathing suits, but the women-only area is still no-clothing. While I was there, I noticed staff constantly cleaning and checking temperatures, which I really appreciated. I got the Simply Sugar Scrub and it was amazing. I didn't catch the name of the woman who did mine, but she was so good, totally worth the money. They also have an $85 scrub-only package if you don't want a massage or hair wash. The only downside was a group of ladies talking loudly, but I did see a staff member ask them to lower their voices. Tip: If you're a bigger woman like me, you can ask for a larger robe!

I loved the vibes of this spa! It was super relaxing. I have never been to a Korean spa so it was a bit of a culture shock. I got the Lavender Scrub and it came with a facial, scalp massage, body scrub, and regular massage. I almost fell asleep with how peaceful it was. My friends and I enjoyed all of the sauna rooms and baths. My favorite was the clay room I underestimated how deep it was. They offer free coffee, tea and water in the lobby. Additionally, they have an area to blow dry your hair and do makeup etc after enjoying the amenities. The only downside is that near the end of our visit we noticed roaches in the entrance to the saunas. :((((

his spa is quite nice! It's in K-Town and even though I took Uber, I noticed there was a parking structure nearby. It was a confusing to get to at first, the address routed me to the Bank of America on Wilshire which was incorrect, once I walked around the block - I found out where it was. I wish there were more detailed instructions on the website on how to get there. Check in was easy, got my own locker and was given instructions on where to go downstairs. It is on the bottom floor, so no windows. The service was amazing! I booked the Aphrodite with Wendy. I would come back just for that! I also really liked the mushroom tea that was provided in the sitting area. I didn't get a chance to try out all the rooms but was thankful they marked each room by order number. I haven't gone to many spas in LA so don't really have much to compare to but overall it was a pleasant experience!

Would you like to go to heaven, become a baby seal, and leave with a glow all in one afternoon? I managed to snag an appointment on the weekend and went by myself bc a Korean body scrub is a solo adventure unless that's a bucket list item with your friends. Do not do this unless you're comfortable being in your birthday suit in the pool area or if you aren't wearing your glasses. I didn't have my glasses on most of the time so that made this even easier. You get a key (shower, towels, and slippers), hop in the shower, and then you have the option of the steam or sauna, jacuzzi of varying degrees and benefits, and the all the detox zones. Follow the first timer guide depending on your chosen treatments and try their homemade reishi tea, I would dilute it if you're not a tea drinker. Turn off your phone and turn it back on if you get the SOS signal. There's a co-ed area but I did not go into that side. Huge thank you to Angela and Nadia for helping me at the front desk and on the phone, Yoona is an absolutely angel who got me to the right spots whenever I got lost, and thank you to Helen and Michelle who got me so relaxed that I spent most of my time asleep.

I loved this spa! The 3 soaking pools were all different and provided unique benefits. The sauna and steam room were a little small, but did the job. I loved the other rooms that they had though. Especially the one with the clay balls. They have showers to clean up with after, and the amenities you would expect from a spa.

When I first came in, my skin barrier was in really bad shape from trying way too many products and doing way too much to my skin. They told me my skin barrier was super thin and needed a lot of TLC. After consistently coming here for the past three years, my skin barrier is SO much stronger, my skin is clearer, and so much more glowy. I only wear a tiny bit of concealer in my day to day and get SO many compliments on my skin now. This was not the case before and I owe it all to Joy (my facialist)! Joy is my facialist, and she is truly the best. I absolutely love seeing her and look forward to every facial. Her treatments feel like a combination of a lymphatic drainage massage, extractions, and LDM all in one. It's so relaxing, but at the same time, I always leave feeling like my skin has actually been taken care of and reset. She knows my skin so well and always knows exactly what I need. Anytime I have an emerging pimple, it completely disappears after my facial because of her work. I also get microneedling here about once a month or every other month, and it has completely transformed my skin texture. I really appreciate that they don't just do the same thing every time, they look at what my skin needs and will add things like red light therapy or whatever they think will help with healing and getting the best results. I also get Botox here, and this is genuinely the best place I've ever gone for Botox. I've had some pretty bad Botox experiences in the past, including in Korea, where I really hated how it looked. At Irene's, my Botox is always done very conservatively and naturally. I still look like myself, just more refreshed. And to top it off, the entire staff is amazing. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, and I especially love seeing Irene and Edward there. Every time I walk in, they greet me with the biggest smiles, and they are just the sweetest, nicest people. You can really tell that everyone here genuinely cares about their clients. After three years of coming here, I truly trust Irene's Skintopia with my skin. They've helped me repair my skin barrier, keep my skin clear, improve my texture, and maintain results that still look natural. It is worth every single penny, and I'm so grateful I found this place. I recommend them to everyone!

My skin has become much more hydrated and has a healthy glow that I didn't have before. What I really appreciate is that even though I'm on a set treatment plan, Kelly still takes the time to check my skin each visit and makes small adjustments or suggestions based on how my skin is doing. When my skin is acting up, she also explains things clearly and has even looked at the skincare products I use, going over ingredients and what might be working or not. You can tell she is very knowledgeable and cares about helping you understand your skin. The clinic is always clean, relaxing, and welcoming, and everyone there is very kind. I keep going back because I trust them, feel comfortable, and I've really seen consistent results.

But then when I got into the actual facial procedure, it didn't go so well. I was assigned someone named Kyung. She used the needle/lancet A LOT. I had maybe one stubborn, deeper pimple, but the fact that she used a needle to puncture and squeeze a bunch of spots caused a lot of scarring/hyperpigmentation that's taken me over two weeks now to exfoliate and get rid of, and its not yet near to being clear. If their smaller ones that can be squeezed then a lot is normal- but the needle was used probably over 20 times. Not only that, but every time she spoke, it was always an attempt to get more money. First, it was asking if I wanted to buy a package or some sort of membership. She asked twice and kept on being pushy as she was doing the procedure. Next, she asked me to tip at least twice as well, and reminded me several times, even got the physical sign with her venmo/PayPal and showed it to me, to make sure I understood. Note that maybe had we made other small talk, then maybe, just maybe the way she was so pushy and trying to get more money out of me would be fine, but it was really every moment she spoke was an opportunity to get more money. It's a horrible feeling. That said, I wouldn't recommend trying, unless perhaps you're fluent in Korean and could veer the conversation to other things or speak more firmly when sold to.

What impressed me the most was how carefully they analyzed my facial expressions before doing anything. They didn't just inject in the usual spots. They actually asked me to make different expressions--raising my eyebrows, frowning, relaxing my face--and watched closely to see exactly where the muscles were working. Based on that, they explained where Botox would help and, just as importantly, where it was not necessary. That level of detail made me feel very comfortable because it was clear they were focused on natural results rather than simply using more product. I especially appreciated that they were conservative and thoughtful with the injections. They avoided placing Botox in areas that didn't truly need it, which made me feel like I was in very honest and experienced hands. Another pleasant surprise was how little the injections hurt. I was honestly expecting it to be more uncomfortable, but the technique was so gentle that it was much easier than I imagined. Overall, the entire experience felt very professional, careful, and trustworthy. If you're looking for a place that takes the time to understand your face and aims for natural-looking results, I would absolutely recommend them.

You have to come in with the understanding that getting better skin will take time, i.e. multiple…read moretreatments=yes more money, but that is how it is. Their pricing is generally a little bit lower than others in the Ktown area. I purchased the 5 plasonic+5 LDM package. I first went there for plasonic facial because I had tried the plasonic facial at Spa LA which cost more (because of spa amenities and extra stuff), but I found Jk Aesthetics offers plasonic facial too (about $50 less). The aesthetician found my skin was dry and my blackheads would not come out, so she recommended LDM instead for hydration. I still wanted to do plasonic facials so I got the package. We also went through the current products I use and she gave her recommendations. I purchased the TGF Booster, EGF Serum, Collagen Serum. I seemed to have a reaction (some dry patches and some redness) with the EGF serum with my other products at home so they allowed me the option to return it and try something else. I ended up keeping it and removed one of my at-home products and my skin is better now. They also taught me products I can use and not use while getting these treatments (for example like not using Vitamin C serum for the mean time). I'm attaching a picture of my forehead after 2 Plasonics and 1 LDM. I started around end of March 2026 and have until October to go. I rotate between plasonic and LDM every 3 weeks. I estimate overall cost from March-October with 20% tip and facial products is roughly $2500. My skin feels and looks healthier after every visit and I'm feeling more confident to show my natural face again. My makeup is applying smoother on my face. I also don't feel the need to hide behind makeup as much. Will send progress pictures the next couple months, but so far this is what I have after a few visits. Added a picture of skincare products I purchased from them. Not cheap, but in combination with the treatments I think it helps with maintenance of my results. I learned I needed to slowly switched over my skincare and decreased products. This is coming from a girl who overdid it with products from Dr Dray's kbeauty recs (a big YouTube influencer).

Finally figured out by myself. Men and women have their own floor for massage. Common area for different sauna and food court. Place is clean. Very Korean like we see in movies. I have massage and it's the best ever. Very unique. Very satisfied. Exfoliate whole body. Feels so relax and whole body so clean. You got to experience it to know what I am trying to say. The whole package is $185. I'm so thankful my sons found this place. Make sure to make reservation for massage.

Staff was great, constantly making sure floors/countertops were dry, fresh towels, etc. PLENTY of places to wash before getting in the pools (one may say too many because they are simply not getting used). Got a scrub + moisturizing massage. Bring cash tip (they have an ATM in the lobby). Common Area: The typical mats, various rooms (high temp clays balls room, other temps, cold room - maybe 5-6 rooms total? By end of the day (8/9pm) lots of mats strewn around because unsure if they belong to people. There's an overnight fee added now (check their website). Didn't try the food, but the menu looked good. Overall, a meh spa by general Korean spa standards, especially as there isn't another 24hr spa in the area. Cold common sauna's AC was dripping water, not many pool options (I know this isn't something they can just change, but if a section of the shower area was converted to more pools...) Valet parking, or street parking (free on Sundays).

My husband also goes with me, and the private, cozy room makes each treatment even more enjoyable. What sets Min apart is how she tailors each treatment to your individual skin needs. If you're looking for personalized skincare, I highly recommend her!

My main goal at the time was to prepare for my wedding. During the consultation, she made a customized treatment plan for me based on my concerns and skin condition. I didn't want to go to other big skincare clinics, because they would just offer me their most popular #1 treatment package. I felt that at Envy Skincare, I would get a personalized experience. More importantly, I was comforted by her confidence in making me look beautiful for my wedding AND SHE DELIVERED. I am SO happy with the results. I am just regretful that I didn't go to her sooner. I purchased another facial package and plan to continue going to her as long as I can. My husband is thinking about potentially moving out of California in the future, and my first question was- "how am I ever going to find another Min?" I would probably fly back every month. I am honestly hesitant to post this because I don't want her to get too busy for me- but she is well experienced, she knows she's good, and she really cares about what she does. I 100% recommend!

I'm a self-proclaimed skincare snob and have done everything from leech therapy, microneedling, PRP, vampire facials, IPLs, various chemical peels, and a plethora of different lasers. I had been eyeing the Scarlet RF machine for about two years now and finally decided to pull the trigger, especially since my skin has been acting up the past six months in ways I've never seen before. After doing some research on Yelp, I found Reset Laser Clinic -- they had amazing reviews and offered the Scarlet RF treatment. I'm so glad I found them because WOW, I was beyond impressed. First of all, there was zero downtime -- and I saw instant results. My skin looked noticeably more plump and refreshed right after the treatment, and it continues to improve day by day. For anyone unfamiliar, the Scarlet RF microneedling machine improves skin tone, texture, and reduces the appearance of wrinkles and scars. It combines microneedling with radiofrequency energy to stimulate collagen production and tighten the skin. Results are immediate, but they keep getting better over the next six months! Reset Clinic also offers an amazing package that combines three treatments in one session: Scarlet RF, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma): where your own blood is drawn, processed to concentrate the healing platelets, and then applied to boost regeneration and healing, Rejuran (Salmon DNA Therapy): a Korean skin booster that improves hydration, elasticity, and enhances the skin's natural healing processes. Another major plus: they have their own parking lot (huge bonus for K-Town!), and my treatment also included a bit of a massage, a head spa, and a mini facial -- it felt so luxurious. I went back to work the next day without any issues. No redness, no peeling, no downtime -- just noticeably healthier, plumper skin. I'm so happy with the results and definitely plan to return for other treatments at Reset. Not sponsored, by the way -- but I did chat with them afterward about my experience, and they generously offered a discount for my followers. If you mention 'JENNY', they'll give you $112 off the Scarlet RF treatment I had done! You can book with Jenny by DM'ing them on Instagram (@reset_laser_clinic) or by calling 213-455-1950 -- just let them know I sent you!

From the moment I walked in, the service was impeccable. There was absolutely no wait, and I was greeted and taken in right away. I met with the doctor, who has been practicing at the clinic for 15 years. She carefully assessed my skin texture, listened to my concerns, and recommended the LaseMD laser treatment based on what my skin needed. The laser experience itself was incredibly smooth. They applied numbing cream beforehand, and when I mentioned that I wasn't feeling much numbness, they didn't dismiss my concern. Instead, they were attentive, caring, and adjusted everything to make sure I was comfortable before starting. Once the treatment began, I genuinely felt little to no pain. The entire process was seamless, and I felt well taken care of throughout. After the laser, I had a facial, and the massage was so relaxing, it was the perfect way to end the treatment. The staff was professional, kind, and made the whole experience feel luxurious. I'm officially hooked on this place and will definitely be coming back for all of my future facial and skincare treatments. Highly recommend!
