However, an employee named Minwoo stepped in to help, and he really stood out. He seemed like a manager, not necessarily by title, but because he was noticeably more professional and kind than the other front desk staff. He carefully went over each of my reserved services and explained how to prepare and where to go in a very clear and easy-to-understand way. It made the whole experience much smoother, especially for a first-time visit. After using the sauna, I spent time in the co-ed jimjilbang area, which had a relaxing and authentic atmosphere. I also received a skincare treatment and an acupressure service, and both were very satisfying. Later, I had a meal at the restaurant with friends, and we went up to the rooftop to get some fresh air. The patio area was nicely set up, and the cool breeze made it a perfect place to relax and unwind. You can spend hours there without even realizing it, just rotating between the baths, saunas, rooftop, and dining/resting areas. Each section runs efficiently, especially for a place that's open 24/7 and constantly busy. That's not easy to maintain. Shoutout to Chloe, my favorite WI SPA manager. She's been there for years and you can really see her impact. Things stay organized, the flow of the space makes sense, and people are actually taken care of instead of it feeling chaotic. I really enjoyed the deep tissue shiatsu massage. The masseuse was very skilled, and it was a first to have someone walk on my back. The experience was very therapeutic. DD got a deep pore facial, and enjoyed that a lot. The salt sauna, clay sauna, and ice room were our other favorites. I also enjoyed the bibimpap at the restaurant. The clay pot made the rice crispy. Would come again. I had heard of Wi Spa from the Conan O'Brien video (where he went with Steven Yuen) but had forgotten about it. Boyfriend and I were going on a road trip from just south of Seattle to San Diego and needed a place to stay in the middle of the night. We got to LA around 10pm and popped into the Wi Spa because they are open 24/7! Unfortunately, massage services end at 10pm (which I didn't realize despite reading a bunch of stuff on their website/reviews). Would've been well worth the stop if we had been able to get a massage after our long drive. There are signs stating SERVICES OVER $160 WAIVES ENTRANCE FEE. We stayed until 4am (that's the cut off if you don't want to pay $30 for the next day). They reset at 11am. Food was expensive. Late night ramyun was $14 (and you know it's just instant ramyun). The health drinks were bomb though ($6 for the skin cleaner - highly recommend!). 1st floor is women's. 2nd floor is men's. 3rd floor is communal. Unfortunately, 3rd floor was a little loud with certain groups not being conscious of their volume. At 1am-ish there was a security person who went into each sauna and made sure people didn't have their shirts lifted up (modesty!) and stayed quiet. Unfortunately, one group didn't get the memo and still laughed loudly in the cold room (doors are NOT soundproof!). Lots of snorers too. One spot right outside the food area had a hole in the ceiling and water dripped onto my leg. My favorite thing about this place was my skin felt so clear afterwards! I haven't been to Wi Spa in years! After I moved out of K town and the pandemic, it just hasn't occurred to me to visit. I use to go all the time to relax - like a staycation. I even have passes I purchased from 2018. In my most recent visit, I went to pick up 10 more passes as gifts. They showed up on my instagram feed. I think an influencer was talking about the new massage robot (Aescape). There has been a number of changes. The gym and men's sleeping area is under construction. The valet parking is $4. I was also told the entrance fee is $70 if you check in between midnight to 4 am. If you enter before midnight, you can stay until 4am at the regular entrance fee, $40. I purchased a pack of 10 passes, coming out to $320. I am usually a cheapskate, so I normally would say, just try to find street parking. But the area is so sketchy, I personally wouldn't feel safe walking around McArthur area. Have a good time, but be careful of the surrounding area. read more

Late Night Lifesaver We came here for a 4 a.m. sister spa run, and that alone makes this place iconic. It's open 24 hours, which is perfect when you need to relax on your own schedule. I called ahead (twice) to confirm pricing and hours, and the staff was helpful and patient even at 3 in the morning. Pro tip: if you go after 4 a.m., admission drops from $70 to $40 per person. That alone made it worth the wait. Entrance and Parking We took Waymo, and it dropped us off in the front of the building. The address is correct, but the main entrance is actually in the back near the parking lot. Just walk around the building. There are stairs at the entrance, so that's something to keep in mind. They do have a parking lot, but I'm not sure whether parking is included or paid. What to Expect Inside Even at 4 a.m., there were plenty of people there. The locker room wet area requires nudity (standard spa policy). They have two hot tubs, a cold pool, standing showers, and smaller seated wash stations. Upstairs, there are multiple sauna-style rooms including a salt room, clay room, an ice room (which felt amazing), and an extremely hot sauna where staff limits you to 10 minutes for safety. There were also lots of people resting quietly on mats, so it definitely has that true 24-hour spa vibe. Uniform and Sizing They provide a robe plus a spa shirt and shorts. The shirts go up to 4X, but the shorts only go up to 2X, and the robes run small and don't fully close. If sizing is a concern, just know the options are limited. It's manageable, but not the most size-inclusive setup. I did appreciate that staff said we could bring our own clothes if needed. Just something to keep in mind if you want a more comfortable fit. Rooftop and Extras They have a rooftop lounge area with seating and a TV, which is nice for relaxing. The view is mostly covered by metal paneling, so you don't really see much of the city. There's also a café (not sure if it's open 24 hours), and massage services weren't available during the overnight hours when we went. Valet is four dollars cash or five dollars Zelle. We waited in line for about 20 minutes before we were let in which wasn't bad on New Year's Day. Cost $40 for the day and they give you a towel, cheap slippers and a T-shirt. They mandate that you wear their leisure uniform but being a plus size girly they did not have my size. I made sure to bring my own shorts just in case. Really glad that I did. There are so many things to do here and this was my very first time. I'm glad I went with a friend who has gone once before. They give you a bracelet that looks more like a watch and that is your locker number and key to lock up your valuables. They offer robes on a first come first serve basis, as well as shorts and mini towels. So just a heads up, if you plan on using the pools, you must shower before entering them and it is a totally nude setting. If you're not comfortable seeing other women nude or being news yourself, then this level is not for you. Everyone is nude walking around, going in and out of saunas on the "locker" level. Please keep in mind that women have their own locker room. Men have their own separate locker room. The next level is for both genders. You can grab a mat and lay out and relax, and there are tons of different rooms with different temperatures to use. There's a jade room, clay room, extreme heat, rock room, and an ice room. We use all of them. They serve food here as well. I got a water, a slushy and veggie rolls to snack on. We sat on a traditional Korean table setting. So basically you're seated on the floor with a special chair and legs crossed. Really taking in the full experience, right?! There are so many amenities here and we also purchased face masks from the store they had. Keep in mind it's a $10 minimum for credit card. My mask was only three dollars so luckily my friend had cash. Otherwise they have tons of masks make up lip, glosses, and so much more. I really enjoyed myself here. It's almost like being in Vegas because there are no windows and no clocks and we were there for literally six hours! I couldn't believe it. Definitely I'm coming back and bringing a group of girls. Next time I will make sure to bring my own sandals, shorts, and my own robe since they didn't carry my size. Decided to try the sugar scrub this time and it was great! A 90 minute scrub and massage which is enough to waive the admission fee and gets you so relaxed. When I have done the salt scrub the lady would wash your hair and the end and your done this time she did it between the scrub and massage and had us sit in the sauna. My skin feels so great after this treatment! Then we had the delicious food. My friend had the beef bimbimap and I had the tofu. The portions are huge and delicious. I have been a long term customer here, but my recent experience was a nightmare. First, Gross Negligence with Lost Property: about a month ago, I left a $300+ vaporizer in a bag. I called the very next day, and the staff confirmed they had it and took my phone number. When I finally went to retrieve it, they casually told me they 'threw it away.' How does a reputable business discard a customer's high-value property without even a phone call, especially after confirming they found it? Second, Extreme Valet Negligence: Yesterday, the valet service was even worse. I paid for valet, but the attendant left before parking my car. When I tried to get my keys from the front desk, they couldn't find them. I eventually found my car sitting UNATTENDED in the middle of the driveway, UNLOCKED, with the KEYS IN THE IGNITION. Anyone could have driven off with my car. This isn't just bad service; it's a massive security and safety hazard. If you value your property or the safety of your vehicle, think twice before coming here. The management is clearly failing at basic oversight. read more

I was speaking at a conference in LA recently so I was in town and finally was able to try Wi Spa! This place has been on my list for years. I've been to the Korean spa outside Chicago & a spa in Korea for reference. Pros: - My Korean scrub & massage was really well done! I had a really attentive person and I kept thinking, wow what they do is such a workout so I have nothing but admiration for the ladies caring for folks every day. - The place was clean. I went late on a weekday from 7:30-11:30pm. It got quieter after 8 & really quiet after 10pm but there were still a few people around so it never felt unsafe as a woman there by myself. - Unlike other reviews, I got to avoid children & even had some saunas by myself which was nice. The saunas are a great size and they have enough variety to keep it interesting. The wet sauna in the women's locker room was also nicer than the one in Chicago. Cons: - No one explained where the shorts, robes, etc were so had to ask other folks for help. It would've been nice to be given a heads up at the front desk but the reception folks seemed all really young and didn't really care. - I'm used to there being different levels of hot pools so was slightly disappointed that there was just multiple hot pools of the same temp & then the icy one. - Food was so-so but service was great and I'm still glad there was a food option at like 11pm. I tend to always want a spicy soup for comfort but looking at other reviews I should've got the mul naengmyun (next time)! - I spent over $225 for services and food so be prepared to splurge. - The rooftop is unique but what's up with no good view of the city? There were folks sleeping up there so felt weird for me to stay longer than 5 mins. Tips: - Make sure to bring $20s, $10s, & $5s so you have some flexibility on a tip for the scrub & massage based on price. They give you envelopes to put it in and hand back which is preferred by the workers. Luckily I was able to get some smaller bills at the front desk but was annoying having to get dressed in order to go back there so if you want to avoid that, get it ahead of time. - In case folks are wondering, the workers doing the scrub speak English and you can communicate with them throughout. My lady actually started out in English and then switched to Korean when I said I was lol. Overall, I'm so glad I experienced Wi Spa! Our family has been coming to this spa for a very long time -- probably more than 30 times over the years. It's a very popular place, so it always seems busy whenever we visit. I really enjoy coming here because I can relax and have some pampering time. However, during my most recent visit on Sunday, November 9, there were a few things that were disappointing. When I asked the staff in the women's sauna area for a robe, she said there weren't any available, which surprised me. How can a spa not have any robes? After spending some time in the bath and showering, I checked again about an hour later, and they had robes. That's good. The facilities are nice, the food is ok and I especially love the Ondol (the heated floor), which is one of my favorite things about Korean spas. But the biggest downside is that there are always kids running around, yelling, and being very loud. Even though I like kids, this is supposed to be a place to relax, and it's hard to fully unwind with so much noise. This has been an ongoing issue every time I visit, and it's really disappointing. The food tastes okay, but the prices are definitely too high for what you get. Overall, I do like this spa, but I really hope they can address some of these issues, especially the noise. read more

She made the whole experience very comfortable and relaxing. Wi Spa didn't not disappoint. The customer service was on point and everyone was welcoming. Few notes for the ladies - the ladies locker room (saunas and hot tubs) is birthday suit only. The women's gift shop has an amazing selection of products and the women that run the shop are experts in what they know. Leave your belongings in the lockers using the wristbands and change into the provided shorts and shirt. All purchases made from this point on are via your wristband. Recommendations: Bring a change of clothes, something to read, cards, shower toiletries, etc. My favorite rooms in the spa are the clay ball room and the jade room. Food is decent for the price, can take a while depending on how busy it is. This is a korean spa so people are naked in the locker rooms/jacuzzis. Grow up if this bothers you. Open 24/7. This was my first time and first experience going to a spa. This facility is open 24 hours. On the Main street it looked like it's closed but, I believe that is the back side of the establishment. You will have to turn the corner and enter through the parking lot. Parking is a fee of $4 for the day but the parking can get a little packed so try and aim for an early time. We arrived around 11 AM and walked in. We were greeted at the counter but wasn't given a tour. I had to let her know it was my first time, and we didn't know what we were doing. The staff member just told us where we could change at and was asked if we wanted to book anymore services, we politely declined. We were wrong, we should of book a service instead of trying later. Sorry, forgot to mention it's $40 for the day, once you leave you have to pay again but you have unlimited time inside. With the $40 you get: Entry, shirt, shorts, slippers and excess to all three floors. We adventured off to the women's side of the facility. The spa had multiple showers, pools, full size mirrors, toothbrushes, massage chairs, a little store for things you might need. Once we changed into out of our clothes we attempted to get to the main floor by elevator and it wasn't working for us, so we had to use the stairs. I have a knee problem so using the stairs can be difficult of certain days. On the main floor there are 6 six rooms. Start for the hottest room and work your way down. We didn't know that so we were just jumping from room to room after a while. We did try the snack shack for a snack but sweating and resting is a workout that I NEVER knew could be done. We are so hungry and thirsty. We tried to go and reserve times for a massage but they were booked until 7PM and it was only 3PM so we decided to leave but we are definitely coming back. read more

People talk loudly through out the entire space and rooms are packed. This could be attributed to weekend crowds of course, but in general there isn't an enforced policy on noise or capacity. If you're looking to rest in a quieter, peaceful area, I recommend checking out the open space in the women's locker room to the left of the inner stairwell. There's hardly anyone there and it's away from the main walking paths. Parking is available for a few dollars on site, but there is free street parking 2 blocks down if you're willing to walk by encampments. Treatments are on the pricer side, so expect to pay $160+ for a massage, facial, etc. though your $40 entry fee is waived if you purchase a service. I'm really disappointed. I used to genuinely enjoy coming here, but the quality has gone down significantly. My friend and I came here for my birthday, and honestly, it felt like a waste of time and money. I usually book a scrub, but since they were fully booked, we decided to just get day passes. That would have been fine, except the overall experience was extremely underwhelming. First, this place seriously needs a proper remodel. And I mean a full shutdown-and-remodel, not trying to patch things up while clients are still there. The facility looks worn down and poorly maintained. If phones were allowed, I would have taken plenty of photos because it was that disappointing. Yes, the day pass price has gone up, but the experience does not match the cost. They give you one pair of disposable slippers, yet don't want you wearing them in the shower area. As a licensed manicurist, there is no way I'm walking barefoot in a wet communal space. All I could think about was fungus and bacteria. They also only provide one medium towel, which is not enough. The shower area was honestly gross. There were missing tiles, missing rubber mats, and the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash dispensers looked like they needed to be replaced a long time ago. Overall, the entire space felt neglected. What really pushed me over the edge was seeing a woman in the cold tub who was clearly on her cycle, with no proper coverage. It was extremely unsanitary and completely turned me off from getting in at all. At that point, I was ready to leave, but we had just arrived, so we tried to make the best of it. Eventually we got hungry and went upstairs to eat, and that was another disappointment. The food prices have gone up so much, and honestly, I would rather go to a restaurant for that kind of money. DO NOT COME HERE!!!!! i am beyond disgusted with my experience at this spa. What is supposed to be a women-only facility was completely violated--there were five men, fully exposed, in the women's area. This Korean spa has a traditional policy of being naked. We actually got spoken to you for keeping our bikinis on but seeing a males anatomy completely exposed is OK? This is not just uncomfortable, it is unacceptable and a complete failure of basic safety, privacy, and respect for not only me, but other clients who come with there friends or family. I did not pay to feel shocked, unsafe, and disrespected. There was zero regard for boundaries or the expectations that come with a gender-specific space. No warning, no explanation, no staff intervention--nothing. It felt chaotic and completely mismanaged. To make matters even worse, when I expressed to the manager how uncomfortable I was and asked for a refund so I could leave, they refused. Instead of handling the situation with empathy or professionalism, they tried to "accommodate" me in other ways, completely missing the point. I didn't want alternatives--I wanted to leave and feel safe. The staff was incredibly insensitive and rude about the entire situation. There was no acknowledgment of how inappropriate and upsetting this was, no apology that felt genuine, and no effort to take accountability. I drove an hour and a half to come here, spent my time, my day and my money, and left feeling completely disturbed despite having a peaceful massage. I am requesting to be compensated or refunded for this experience, as it was entirely unacceptable and not what was advertised or expected. If you are a woman expecting a private, secure environment, do NOT come here. This place clearly does not enforce its own policies or protect its clients. This spa has a lot of different saunas and the food did not seem like much, but it was so good! The reason for the two stars, I think that children should not be allowed to be in a fully nude section. I felt very uncomfortable. I read the website after I went because I was invited to this spa so I did not know that children would be there. Children should be in an area where the adults wear swimsuits! It is gender separated, but I felt very uncomfortable getting nude knowing children are there. It was hard to relax during the massage because the massage area is in the same area as the showers and the jacuzzis. I would not come back due to the children and how the massage area is not relaxing. read more

Will definitely be coming more often! I wish they offered a monthly membership. The coed floor is where the different sauna rooms are. You wear clothes there. They will give you a shirt and shorts to wear and some towels. You must wear them at all times on the coed floor. They have a small food place there. On the women's floor there is a small beauty store. I'd recommend taking a face mask to put on or you can buy some at the store, cash only for purchases under $10. Women only floor at the jacuzzis and bathing area, no clothes allowed. And yes I mean absolutely no clothes allowed in the jacuzzi and bathing area! So prepare yourself to see some people naked. The lockers are right out front of the jacuzzi room. There are restrooms you can use to change but everyone seems to just change in front of each other. But honestly I went with my best friends and we loved it. Plan to go often. read more

I really enjoyed Wi Spa, except for the women's dry sauna in the wet area (which is usually my favorite part of a spa!). I cannot, for the life of me, figure out why they have speakers blasting a Korean television show when the television itself is off (or broken?) I would have spent so much time in there if the auditory experience wasn't so awful (the television show consisted of a good amount of loud screaming whereas the tv in the men's dry sauna was apparently playing a football game.) That's the area in which you cannot bring phones, so I couldn't even try to drown out the noise with headphones. I asked someone who worked there if it was possible to turn it off since no one was listening to it, and was told no. Besides that -- the dry saunas upstairs are awesome, they just feel a little less cleansing and a little more social since you have to wear clothes (and people are talking in there a ton, but I did use headphones in them.) The food is delicious (I got the udon and it was a perfect meal to replenish for the heat.) The cosmetic purchasing area was a godsend for moisturizing. And the massage chairs lowkey totally rock. $40 allows you entrance to enjoy amenities which include steam room, ice rooms, jacuzzi, cold plunge pools, nap areas etc. I thought that was pretty awesome. Place is clean and there are co ed designated areas. Staff was amicable. I did not explore any additional services but the do seem to be pretty popular. read more

***WIFE TAKEOVER*** Happy New Year, Yelp family! My husband and I wanted to start the new year right with relaxation and rejuvenation. Wi Spa has always been on my radar ever since Conan O'Brien and Stephen Yuen went many years ago. We were afraid of the nudity back then. However, the opportunity presented itself when we decided on a date night in Los Angeles. We live farther away and needed something to occupy our time while waiting for dinner. Hence, Wi Spa. We arrived at about 8:30 AM and were surprised by the number of parked cars. Luckily, we did not have to utilize the valet service since there were open parking stalls. To waive the $40 entrance fee, we booked services (nude scrub and CBD massage for me, acupressure and Swedish combo massage for the hubs). She confirmed our appointments and gave us instructions on what to do before the massages. The front desk asked us for our shirt sizes and handed us each a shirt, a towel, a numbered wrist band, and cheap disposable slippers. Then she directed us to our gendered floors. I was impressed by the cleanliness and layout. I quickly found my spacious locker and changed into the co-ed gear. There is a numbered wristband they give that works as a locker access, so place it on before changing to avoid lockout. A few minutes into changing, more ladies came to the locker area, and it became quite crowded with naked bodies. There was a lot of nudity, but no one cared, and it was quite freeing. We met on the third-floor co-ed space (jimjilbang) and decided on a quick bite. Mind you, the prices were quite high, but we decided on splurging and paid with the aforementioned wristband. We got the clam seaweed soup and the classic spicy ramen. The seaweed soup was generous with whole clams and served with rice and banchan. It is a simple and humble dish that brought warmth, comfort, and a smile to my face. The spicy ramen was probably Shin ramen cooked from the package...just for $14 without any accoutrements. Anyhow, we tried all the different rooms and the favorite was the Jade room. There weren't any painful, pokey objects (salt room and clay room). One could just lie down. There is also a cold room to cool off between each sauna room. We brought our own water bottles to drink in between (there are water stations scattered everwhere but only mall 4 oz cups). Our massage time was approaching, and we had to split ways. I was advised to submerge in the hot bath for 30 minutes prior. I showered before submerging and really enjoyed my soaking time. An older lady wearing a bra and underwear shouted my number (from the wristband). She eyed me up and down and didn't really say anything but smiled. She instructed me to lie down on a massage table, threw warm water on me, placed a small towel over my eyes, and started scrubbing away. It was not painful and oddly relaxing. I did look forward to the warm water being splashed on me because it got a little cold. I felt like a sea animal during a transport mission that needed the occasional water splash to keep cool. It got to the point where when I turned, I almost slipped off the table. After a half-hour of scrubbing every inch of my body (yes, chest, inner thighs, butt), she washed my hair, gave me a face scrub, and told me to wash off and scrub my face. I returned to the area afterwards, and she started massaging me with the perfect amount of pressure. She even did a surprise face mask and washed my hair again. She handed me a envelope at the end for tipping purposes. Good thing we brought cash. My skin is now baby-butt smooth, and I will try to keep it that way because she let me keep the scrubber! So why the four stars despite getting pampered and consuming authentic, humble Korean dishes? It got PACKED to the point where we witnessed people swiping other people's head pillows and mats. Wi Spa is one of the most well-known 24/7 Korean spas in Los Angeles. Valet parking is available for $4 (cash only as of 2025), so be sure to bring some bills for that. After check-in, the entire spa operates cashlessly--you'll use your wristband to scan for purchases and pay upon checkout. The spa is spread over four floors and includes an outdoor lounging area, restaurant, children's zone, computer stations, and a gym. As with most Korean spas, there's a co-ed area with various hot rooms (like the ice and jade rooms) and gender-separated bathhouse sections. I visited on Memorial Day and paid a $30 entrance fee. Keep in mind that pricing can vary depending on your check-in/check-out time. The spa was quite busy with families and kids until around 10 PM. After 11 PM, the crowd shifted more toward adults, travelers, and those winding down from a night out. Around midnight, the lights are dimmed, and many guests settle in with blankets or relax in the hot rooms--it becomes a very mellow atmosphere. Massage and body scrub services end around 9-10 PM, and the restaurant stays open until about 11 PM or midnight (sorry, I didn't catch the exact closing time). I also checked out the gym, which stays open until 11 PM and is well-equipped. The restaurant prices are typical for casual dining: I ordered a roasted egg ($6), coconut water ($6), and spicy ramen ($11). Overall, the spa was still relaxing, though not the cleanest--likely due to the holiday and 24/7 nature. It does get very crowded. That said, I really enjoyed the ice and jade rooms, and I appreciated the valet security--it made me feel safer walking to my car late at night. The staff at both the front desk and restaurant were very friendly. Wi Spa is a bit of a drive for me, and with so many other Korean spas in the area, I plan to keep exploring.
