I had an amazing deep tissue massage here. My friend is a regular here & took me for my birthday. The space was very clean, private & overall quiet. Oh, one very important thing to note is that this place has legit licensed masseuses. All of their licenses are posted on the wall. I point this out because there are many places in Ktown that I suspect have people who may not be licensed and their technique isn't very good. They do have parking down the driveway behind the building, read more

Wow 20/10 - that was incredible. Sophia is a magician! She had a great amount of pressure / I normally need to request more pressure but it was truly the most perfect massage. She asked my problem areas and got to work - this is now my new spot!! Thank you!!! The whole staff is so sweet, plus they have a small parking lot in back. read more

Elite Thai Massage is my go-to massage place whenever I need to recover or relax. They offer everything from traditional Thai massage to combination Swedish massage, so you can choose between deep therapeutic work or a more relaxing experience. If you like a strong massage, I highly recommend trying their traditional Thai massage and asking for firm pressure. They know exactly how to target pressure points and release tight muscles. Their techniques reflect the traditional healing methods of Thai massage that have been passed down through generations. I've been to many massage places over the years, and you can definitely tell the difference when the therapists have that level of experience and knowledge. If you're looking for an authentic Thai massage that leaves you feeling refreshed, Elite Thai Massage is a great choice. read more

I've been here about 4-5 times now and will definitely continue coming back! I've gotten massages from Q, Natalie, and Lexi, and all of them did a great job. Each had a different style and mix of massage/stretching techniques, but every session was amazing. I usually get the combo massage (Thai/Swedish) and have also tried the deep tissue massage at least once. The rooms/dividers don't go all the way up to the ceiling, so you can hear some surrounding noise, but it's not loud enough to disturb the overall atmosphere. They accept card, but it's a few dollars cheaper if you pay with cash or Venmo. They also run online specials from time to time, so I'd recommend checking their website before calling to book. Street parking is available out front, and there's also a free parking lot in the back. read more

Lalita was PHENOMENAL! I've gotten Thai combo massages before where I feel like they're just doing stuff to waste my time-this was not that. The walking on the back may have been the best I've experienced. Everything felt very intentional to the needs of my body. The only thing that was off putting. You pay before your service and at the end you tip the person on Venmo/cash. The suggested tips are a bit high. The lowest recommendation was more than 20%. Although they don't say anything to you, at the end of the massage, the masseuse is waiting there with your water/tea. If for some reason you didn't want to tip, I could see it being a very awkward exit. Or if you simply can't afford the tip amounts they're recommending, it could be an awkward exit. The bed was clean and if you're a little chilly ask them to turn on the warmer. I was excited to learn this was an option. Overall great spot. I plan to go on the regular. read more

I had my first deep tissue Thai massage with the amazing team here at Elite Thai Massage. I was grateful to have Alina be my masseuse. I can't explain how euphoric the experience was, but she worked through all the tightness held in my body. The business was clean, welcoming, and their system was well organized. I really wish I lived closer to experience this more frequently. Thank you Elite Thai for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back! read more

I agree with others when this place is super aggressive about the tipping. The minimum that this place requires is $20 and for a $73 massage, asking for a $20 tip is. 27%. So when I gave her $15 she was extremely cold and left. I would love to go back cause I think the massage was great but when you're forced, and demanded at least a $20- I can no longer support a business like that. I've been three times but won't be going again for my fourth. read more

I had a deep tissue massage with Tanya, who I greatly recommend. I have had a few disappointing massages lately, so I am grateful to have found someone that I can continue seeing regularly. read more

Got a couples massage here, paid a total of maybe $275 for two 90-min massages and our own packages, like cupping / foot massage / aromatherapy etc. You can choose between thai massage, deep tissue, swedish, or combo. The service was good and the location was clean. The only weird part is paying *before* you get the massage. Be aware of that. The outside and Google Earth makes the shop look a bit sketchy but they're definitely reputable and very nice ladies. We felt safe and they took their time. We'll definitely be coming back! read more

First time at Elite Thai Massage and it did not disappoint on a Friday afternoon. I was able to make a same-day appointment easily thru Vagaro. I selected Alina as my service provider for my 90 min deep tissue massage due to many positive reviews on Yelp and Google. She was friendly and really took the time to de-knot my entire back and shoulders area meticulously. This was definitely one of the better and more thorough massage places I've been to around the Ktown area. I will come back in the future and request Alina again. read more

I have been coming here, not so long but this place is amazing I have my favorites already being a customer for not even over a month. if you need deep tissue massage, Windy the best she knows what to do. Where is your pain and how to relieve the pain Very first time I have tried with Nina. She's also strong and she's good too. I have tried with Sophia. She's also good and I like her too. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the masseuse energy matches with your body energy and temperature read more

Great service and super clean, relaxing environment! Jasmine was so kind and really did well on relaxing my muscles and getting rid of my knots. I went with my boyfriend and it was nice that they had so many available time slots for us even though we booked it the morning of. Parking is convenient (in the back) and they offered us drinks as well. Environment had gentle, soothing music playing and lights were dim. Overall, would return! read more

This was my second time visiting. My first experience was decent enough that I decided to give it another try. While they did manage to work out most of the knots, the massage itself wasn't very relaxing. What really ruined the experience was the aggressive tipping behavior. I tipped once, but the therapist continued to badger me for more. I've never felt so uncomfortable tipping for a service, especially being pressured to tip 25% of the total. It completely overshadowed the massage and left a bad impression. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I won't be returning read more

I've been seeing Lisa regularly now over the last several months since my first massage with her. She is the best masseuse I've ever had! The consistency, comfort, and hospitality are unmatched. I always leave super relaxed and restored. Thank you for the great service. read more

It was my first time trying this place and I have to say-- it was wonderful. 1. They didn't tip toe around pricing when I called and the pricing was transparent and visible when I arrived. 2. The customer service was excellent, polite and to the point. 3. They take walk-ins -- although I ended up scheduling my massage, I appreciate that they are willing to accommodate different schedules 4. My massage therapist Nina was amazing! She asked right away about focus points, massage styles and checked in regarding her pressure regularly. I was struggling to sit up right prior to my massage due to ongoing sciatic nerve inflammation in my lower back, hip, buttocks and leg and this morning I had no trouble getting up and out of bed feeling brand new. I will be back-- thank you Elite Thai Massage and Thank you Nina :) read more

Pro: the actual massage. Con: the services & attitude. I love a good massage so i can overlook a lot but writing as this is probably my last visit... the front desk/phone guy has been rude every single time i have been there. I feel like i owe him money instead of being a pay customer. The masseuses (with 1 exception & she left) are not warm either...& prissy and giving attitude about tips, mind u im tipping 20%... Sad but after giving several chances i can say i feel so uncomfortable coming here read more

I was a semi-regular customer here for several years, and I even recommended this place to friends and family. If I had reviewed earlier, it would have been 5 stars. What used to set this place apart was reliability and attention to pain relief. Appointments started on time, and therapists would ask where I was hurting, adjust pressure when asked, and make a real effort to address it. As someone with chronic pain, I genuinely appreciated that. I consistently tipped a little over 20% in cash (based on the pre-discount price). The only times it varied slightly were due to whatever cash I had on me--but it was always right around or above 20%. Something changed last year, and the experience has deteriorated significantly. Scheduling / front desk: Every time I went in, I was told the therapist I requested wasn't there and was assigned someone else. On top of that, the front desk regularly acted like I wasn't even on the schedule, regardless of when I booked. This happened consistently, not occasionally. Tipping setup and pressure: There is no way to tip on a card--cash only. The front desk also refuses to break bills in advance, which forces an awkward situation at the end of the massage. Combined with that, there is clearly an unspoken expectation that tips should be closer to ~30%. Around ~20% is treated very differently now. A tip of around 20% is generally considered standard in the U.S. across service industries. Expecting something closer to 30%--without being upfront about it--puts customers in an uncomfortable position. Therapists also openly count the tip in front of you and react visibly. Whether or not that's common somewhere, it comes across as rude and unprofessional in a customer-facing business. I also noticed that the price for a one-hour massage has increased by another $10 since my last visit. I have no issue with businesses raising prices--if anything, I would prefer a straightforward price increase. What is not reasonable is raising prices while also creating an unspoken expectation of significantly higher tips. Final visit (why I won't return): I gave the place another chance after years of being satisfied, and this was the breaking point. Once again, the front desk acted like I wasn't on the schedule and assigned me a different therapist. From the start, the therapist's demeanor was tense and unwelcoming. When I asked for more pressure, I was ignored--even after repeating the request more clearly. More importantly, the massage ended early--roughly 50 minutes into what I paid for as a full hour. There was no acknowledgment or correction from the therapist or the front desk. Ending a one-hour session early while charging full price is not acceptable. Despite that, I still left over a 20% tip in cash. The interaction at the end was abrupt and uncomfortable. At this point, what used to be a reliable and genuinely helpful place has become inconsistent and uncomfortable. Between unreliable scheduling, early-ended sessions, and the pressure around tipping, it no longer feels like a professional environment. I would have preferred to simply not come back and move on. However, I think customers should understand what they may be walking into, and I hope management takes a serious look at what has changed. Based on my recent experiences, I won't be returning. read more

The massage itself was good, I saw Lynn, she was kind and professional - but the room I was in was not clean. The sheet I laid on and the one covering me felt oily- like they hadn't been washed. The floor also felt sticky with oil. I was expecting better since their rating is quite high, but I couldn't relax properly because the sheets felt dirty :/ read more

Elite Thai Massage - Massage Near Me - Los Angeles, California

This was one of those spur of the moment type decisions to come here and wow was it a good one. On Thursday, my bf had proposed that we get a massage on Friday as we would have time to kill in the Koreatown area. I briefly looked at a few places but had my eye on Elite Thai Massage due to both affordability and good ratings. We both agreed this looked like a good option to go to but didn't book anything as we had to play it by ear as to when we'd be free. On Friday, I ended up calling at 130pm to make a same day appt for 315pm for two. Wasn't sure if they'd have any openings on such a short notice but we were able to get an appt for both of us super quickly and easily. We ended up walking here so I can't comment on the parking situation but check in was simple as well. Decided we wanted to do a combo Thai/Swedish massage for 60 min which was something like $63 for each of us. The guy at the front let us know that there was a small discount if we used Venmo/Zelle and also saw a handful of specials posted on the wall if we ever wanted to buy multiple visits (3+ visits). The massage itself was great. I have no idea what part of the body was being used to massage me at any given time but it was the perfect combination of painful and pleasant. I really felt brand new afterwards. My bf was absolutely raving about his massage and as someone who frequently gets massages due to his bad back, he said this was probably his best massage yet (s/o to Joy). All in all, amazing experience and glad that we got to give this place a try. read more

SHOULD NOT COME TO WORK WHEN YOURE SICK! This used to be my favorite place. 20 days ago, I did 90 miniute session as usual with experienced masseuse, she started coughing, and in the middle full on continuous coughing, I was so nervous because I have been dreading catching a cold, since everybody is sick. It is unprofessional, I didn't pay over 100$ to get sick, at least they should wear a mask and wear gloved if they are sick and should contain coughing, Yes I did get next 2 weeks. Very uncoordinated and nothing was relaxing. After she climbed on me and was done, I gave her a small tip (I shouldn't have tipped at all), but then she asked 3 times for more money. The begging at the end ruined the experience. Go somewhere else if you want to relax. NOT worth it. read more

Came here for a thai massage with a group of 5. We made reservations first so they were able to accommodate everyone. We went a little bit early so only 1 person had to wait until the reservation time. I got the combo. I think half Swedish and half thai. I was not expecting the thai one to be painful. If you have alot of knots be prepared. I thought I was going to die when the masseuse started stepping on me. But they have something on top where they don't use their whole weight. My bf loved his. The masseuse was very knowledgeable and even worked really hard to get his knots undone. But was only able to loosen a majority of them. He would have to come back a few times to fully get unknotted or stay longer than the hour. read more

I've been here I think 4 or 5 times now - I try to stop by every time I come down to LA from the Bay Area. They used to have a stamp card but no longer offering that! For the massage I like to go with the deep tissue one (they go pretty hard but I have a high tolerance) to get rid of my knots. They do walk on you (part of Thai massage style) but you can, of course request them not to. The establishment is pretty clean and they have individual rooms with a curtain as the door. Last time I was there was a bit awkward because I could see my female masseuse peeking through the curtains to check if I was ready lolll Once you are done with the massage they bring out some water for you and there is a chart of how much you should tip per time that was serviced. I believe they have that because some customers don't tip enough...? Anyways, it could be a good guide for those who don't know how much to tip. It's per time serviced instead of the $$ of the massage, which makes sense! For me it was $15 for 1 hr. read more

I requested a couples massage the day before and was confirmed. When I arrived I was asked to pay for services first. As a person that loves to get services (massages, hair, nails, toes etc) I've never been asked to pay for services before the actual service. I thought that was very untactful and I declined and advised that I would pay for services after they have been rendered. I checked in using Yelp and I received $10 off. When they walked us back to the "couples" massage room it wasn't ready and they had to separate us. It's so late in the day why was the room not ready???? I would also like to note that our appointment was at 6:30 pm and we arrived before hand so we would be on time. When I was walked into my room they didn't even start me till 6:40 pm which I noted and said we have to extend the time to accommodate a 90 min massage ( she agreed ). The massage was good but, the service that I received before the massage was un-favorable. As a paying customer (which I paid in cash and left a tip) I shouldn't feel like I should have gone to another place instead. Total: $170 - $10 check in = $160 couples massage read more

Amazing First-Time Experience! I came in yesterday (1/17/25) with two friends as a last-minute walk-in, and we were accommodated within 30 minutes--super impressive for such short notice! The staff was incredibly friendly, and I was paired with Tisha while my friends had other therapists. I've never had a Thai and Swedish massage before, and while it was intense, Tisha was very attentive to my feedback and adjusted as needed. She worked out my knots, cracked my back, and touched every part of my body with seamless transitions. While I'm slightly sore today (which I hear is normal), I feel like my body was really taken care of. The pricing and service were excellent, and I can't wait to come back to try a more relaxed massage to see what I truly prefer. As a first-timer, I may not have known exactly what to expect, but this was a fantastic experience overall. Highly recommend! read more
