ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS ARE VERY ACCURATE! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY HERE!…read more The one thing that all the one star reviews have in common is that the therapist do not show up at the time or at all. This happened to me where I waited in the lobby for 20 minutes trying to get a hold of front desk (which they don't have). The staff at the hotel let me know that this happens often and there wasn't anything they could do. I gave up waiting and went back home. 3 hours past my originally appointment, they texted to reschedule. I rescheduled deep tissue massage the same day and confirmed with them the time. I go there for the second time and to your guess no one is there AGAIN. James was my massage therapist and I started to raise concerns of James qualification as a licensed massage therapist. I've had many massages and the way he undraped me was very inappropriate. It already made me feel uncomfortable. Not to mentioned, he left a bruise on my back the following day! My friends are massage therapist and they said the muscle he was working which is where the bruise is located- is a tender spot. You are NOT suppose apply a lot of pressure in that area. I also asked him to perform a different method because all of his moves were just the same repeated simple movements and he proceed to the same simple movements any average joe could have done. In another instance, he used all his body weight towards my body that was way too close to my bottom rib. I honestly think I was going to go home with broken ribs..I was really confused what kind of massage I was getting.. This isn't the WWE?! I didn't find the massage to have any technicality to it just the same o' movements. I was in touch with Eva, who seems to be the owner of Faris, and told her my experience at her spa. I mean the lack. of. customer. service. wow. She tried to argue that the bruise is not from the massage. Nothing was resolved in our conversation. I would NEVER recommend a spa like Frais.. not even to my enemies.. Save your time and money, folks. There are a lot more spas in DTLA and Ktown worth your while.

I had the 90 min signature massage. Hands down the perfect massage I was dreaming of! I've tried so many expensive spas in LA and this location is now at the top of my list. Excellent customer service and the massage therapist today was phenomenal.

What an amazing, much needed experience. I came here based on reviews and asked for someone a bunch…read moreof reviews mentioned, but they were unavailable. I was a walk in and didn't have time to wait. I instead got Saline, who was AMAZING. She truly listened to everything I told her, made her presence known throughout the massage but not too much, so I was able to fully relax. I cannot say enough good things about this massage. The space itself was cramped and no frills and some of the pressure is on fellow GUESTS to keep their voices down (please keep this in mind!) but it has everything. The space felt clean and cozy. I went for a 1.5 hour massage which felt like a splurge because it was longer than I normally do, but their prices were so reasonable and I had just come off a very long work week that it felt needed. The massage was so incredibly relaxing and left me in a little bit of pain in a good way. I knew Saline had found a lot of my deep knots, so there was no way for it to be without pain, but every fit of it was so worth it. It was so relaxing and I left feeling 100x better than when I came in. It was a little hard to find because it's on a small strip mall, but now that I know where it is I won't miss it. Highly recommend this spot!

I came in asking for Salin, who previously gave me one of the best massages I've ever had. I…read moreliterally kept her business card on my kitchen counter so I wouldn't forget. She wasn't in town, and the front desk recommended Michelle instead. Best surprise ever. I have been getting massages for years, and this was on another level. I was brought to tears at random moments in the session. Michelle used techniques I've never experienced before. If she asks to use her feet, say yes. Trust me. The level of skill, intuition, and passion she brings to her work is rare. You can feel that she genuinely cares about what she's doing. I left feeling reset in a way I can't fully explain. Phenomenal. Truly 10 stars.

Really nice little spot. I stopped in and got the combo massage which is 30 minutes on your feet…read moreand 30 minutes on body. It was firm and never hurt. Truly a terrific massage from Henry for $60. It's a really good deal plus obviously you need to tip! Massage starts in back with feet in hot water which is lovely. Anyhow HIGHLY recommend!

I don't like to leave low reviews for family owned businesses where they're nice and trying to make…read morea living. But I want to leave an honest review so that Soya can improve and give transparency to those who may visit in the future. I get massages a LOT, so I have a lot of experiences to compare this to. I tried this place as it was convenient. The establishment was warm, I appreciate the AC was turned on once my session began, but it was still very warm and only cooled down a bit. The massage was not good. I was fully clothed (they provided an outfit) and the masseuse just rubbed, squeezed and pressed onto my body, there were no true techniques used to massage knots or even in a therapeutic or relaxing way. It was not what I expected, usually I have a bare back when I get massages. I don't think the gentleman massaging me is trained. It kind of felt like one of those half-effort quick shoulder squeezes my fiancé gives me while I'm sitting on at my computer and he's checking in on me. If you're looking to just lay there and kind of zone out, this might be the place for you. Maybe. But if you're looking for an effective and solid / real massage, I do not recommend.

Lalita was PHENOMENAL! I've gotten Thai combo massages before where I feel like they're just doing…read morestuff to waste my time-this was not that. The walking on the back may have been the best I've experienced. Everything felt very intentional to the needs of my body. The only thing that was off putting. You pay before your service and at the end you tip the person on Venmo/cash. The suggested tips are a bit high. The lowest recommendation was more than 20%. Although they don't say anything to you, at the end of the massage, the masseuse is waiting there with your water/tea. If for some reason you didn't want to tip, I could see it being a very awkward exit. Or if you simply can't afford the tip amounts they're recommending, it could be an awkward exit. The bed was clean and if you're a little chilly ask them to turn on the warmer. I was excited to learn this was an option. Overall great spot. I plan to go on the regular.

So when I gave her $15 she was extremely cold and left. I would love to go back cause I think the massage was great but when you're forced, and demanded at least a $20- I can no longer support a business like that. I've been three times but won't be going again for my fourth.
