I attempted to book online the night before it stated a discounted price of $63 and when I tried to check out the price was bumped up to $70 (I still paid the $70 not the $63). I called the following day multiple times to get a hold of someone to make an appointment for a massage plus hot stone. The initial interaction was very normal with the front desk staff. I can't say it was super clean spa since the previous spa I have been to give you shoes to change into at the front door. The hot stone was completely forgotten about, the front desk lady front to even tell the masseuse about it. The massage was okay nothing amazing. However, when I went to pay at the end the lady at the front desk expected a minimum of 30% "suggested" tip. And she was giving me the stank eye and asking if I'm sure about what I want to tip. I left her know I'm tipping based off service. She then proceeded to ask in a condescending voice, "then tell what your service experience then". If you paid your staff living wage you wouldn't be forcing people to pay 30%+ tip. Why don't you increase the prices because this seems like you're forcing and cornering customers to pay this. At this point it's not a "guideline" or a "suggestion". Tip is based off the service and the amount you're asking for is paid when you go above and beyond. One star for the masseuse being nice and a second star for taking a note of your previous injuries on a form. Edit: added to the interaction with the front desk and response to the owner. If you believe tipping is what makes your staff "fairly compensated" your wages are low. Not trying to be rude but that's just a fact. The receptionist who answered the phone was very friendly and was able to book me the same day. The price was reasonable ($80 for a 60 min massage). This spa has a wonderful and calming ambiance. There is serene music playing, and the inside is very nicely lit, and relaxing. The place also seemed pretty clean. My massage therapist was pretty good. She really dug deep into my muscles to get the knots out. It was a very nice massage and my back felt better immediately after. I really haven't had pain since. Not the best and they were closing at 7pm tonight I felt rushed and the inconsistency on the masseuse was not great at all. She went from deep to light so quickly, after I told her to keep at deep level. I did not leave feeling happy nor my body relieved from stress. Tonight they made me pay up front before I got the service, I had to pause her there because I wanted to use the restroom beforehand, she was ready to walk me into my room mind you a little before 6pm which was my appointment time. During my session, I overheard a walk in customer arrive ask for service and apparently it didn't happen for the client because I heard the other worker decline to do it, and as she was leaving she whispered "bye" to my masseuse and I didn't like that, it's disruptive to my session. When I was done, the lady was ready to go home. And I felt that this visit was a waste of my time. If I paid for deep tissue, then please perform deep and I'll let you know when to lessen the level, not the other way around. Nit a happy client at all. read more

This is located in a corner lot that's kind of difficult to get into (complicated intersection) but there are many available parking spots. It's on the 2nd floor of a complex shared with other businesses. Quiet and simple inside, with the lobby separated from the waiting area connected to the rooms. Water is provided for afterwards. Arranged for a couples massage and thought we'd be in the same room (since I saw a picture of 2 massage beds together) but we were separated, oh well. Opted for the 60 minute swedish. WOW, the actual massage itself was amazing. I didn't get my masseuse's name but she was excellent, really worked on knots in my back and my neck, but also worked my arms and legs intensely. I only had to call a day ahead and booked a 60-minute combo massage. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Sai who gave me a quick form to fill out and showed me to my room. The spa was clean, well decorated, and had a really relaxing ambiance to it. My masseuse was Mimi and she was incredible. This was my first time experiencing a Thai massage and wow had I been missing out! I told her upfront I like gentle pressure and am sensitive in my lower back, so she took that into consideration the entire massage. She also asked where I would like her to focus the massage on. I had initially requested a combo massage, but it felt more like a Swedish massage. Even after I told the masseuse where I wanted her to focus, she continued with the Swedish technique. I wasn't completely satisfied with the result. I shared my experience with my friend, and to my surprise, her masseuse provided a Thai massage focused on the areas she had mentioned. this was my first time going to zensai spa and it was the most welcoming and compassionate place. It smells lovely but not too much scent either (I have bad allergies and it was manageable for me) I have scoliosis so back massages are very painful for me so I got a foot massage to help eliminate some tension in the feet, legs, and calves. I never leave reviews but I had the most terrible experience today at this massage spot. My body felt more tense than how I felt when I originally walked in. I had asked for a deep tissue massage and instead I got stretches and palm presses over a blanket for 30 minutes. I mentioned my feedback on the massage I received and they still had the audacity to ask me for a tip, and a hefty one like how their sign in the front says "Standard tips are $20 to $40."
