Saw my friend Jeff in the photos for Chaba so I texted him and said this has been his go to massage place for the last few years. I took my girlfriend here as an anniversary date. They don't do couple massages but we were able to get our massages done at the same time. Jeff had recommended Kim so my girlfriend booked her and I got Bo. We both thought our massages were amazing and just what we needed, with a Thai massage and her with a combo. Bo was strong and applied a great amount of pressure and really did a great job of focusing on stiff areas of my body. We already went again because we liked it so much. Came here based on the reviews, and I'm glad I did. I arrived 30 minutes early and was immediately taken into a room. I was recommended the combo deep tissue/thai massage and my massage therapist was Bo. She did a little bit of Ashiatsu on me, and it was my first time experiencing that massage modality. I LOVED it. Bo was really strong, had great pressure, and checked in often to make sure I was handling everything okay. She did a great job of finding my knotted spots without me even mentioning them. The stretches she did on me felt really liberating, my body was definitely in need of that! I will say, that if you're looking for a more therapeutic massage as opposed to a soft, spa-like massage... this is the place to go. I was in search for a Thai massage in the valley and came across Chaba Thai. The place is perfect, the atmosphere of the waiting room calms you where you'll see neat decor and plants. BO! Thank you for just the right touch! So I workout 6 days a week.. I left my morning workout out feeling extra tight.. no matter how much I stretch! I called Chaba right away and they took me in right away! And within 30 minutes I was in the care of Bo! She is amazing.. she knows exactly what she's doing to get you back to a stable place! I really wanted a massage after work and my usual place was booked, so I gave Chaba Thai a call. Thankfully they were able to accomodate me within the hour for a one hour combo massage. Upon arrival, the spa had a calming and peaceful vibe to it. The owner Edward greeted me and showed me to my room. My masseuse was Bo and she really did a number on me! She was incredibly intuitive and could tell I worked at a desk job. She gave me a great massage - really working my knots. She was respectful when I asked for lighter pressure and I left feeling much more loose and mobile than when I came in. I will definitley keep Chaba Thai on my list of places to go when I'm in need of a deep, knot-releasing massage. read more

The best massage I have ever received. I was very very tight and sore from lots of working out and stress. I did the combo 90 min Thai/Swedish. It was exactly what I needed. The first 45 mins were painfully good. And by that I mean she really worked to get me loose and found knots in places I didn't even know existed! Exactly what I needed. I breathed through it and she made sure I was OK the entire time, after she got all the tightness out the massage went to more of a relaxing, getting rid of everything she just got out. Let me start off by saying Kim is phenomenal. I've been going consistently for the past 2+ years. Recently, just about every 5-6 weeks. The PROBLEM IS the owner asking to give more money for a tip ABOVE what I am tipping. I give a little more than 20% EVERY VISIT!!!! The ONLY reason I still go is because of Kim. He asks me every visit..."you don't want to give the suggested tip" and each time I am polite. Today, however, he insisted I give suggested tip even after booking my next appointment. I suggested he pay her more instead! I told him it's rude to demand a suggested tip. And since she is bringing in consistent repeat business to YOUR establishment...you don't want to pay her more?" It's deplorable. So I canceled my appointment and unfortunately will not return. Bad business practice and an easy way to lose clientele. read more

My husband and I have been going here for a while now and we've had really good or fantastic experiences every single time! Kim helped me with a knee problem that had kept me in pain for months, the next day it was like I had a new knee. We've also had great experiences with Bo, Anna, Sara, and most recently Gale. All of them know how to find all the spots you didn't even realize needed attention, and really work through them. This was my second and last time going there . First time I got 4 hand Thai massage which was not that great . I wanted to give them a second chance and blamed myself for not requesting deep tissue . They put a lot of oil and were rubbing it in without concentrating on the knots and muscle tension. Their knowledge of anatomy is very basic and I'm being generous. The lady kept grinding her elbow against my scapula and jaw which had nothing to do with muscle tension and it was so painful. Imagine how it felt the 2 bones just grinding.. that is lack of technique and they simply just don't know what they are doing . Second time I thought I will request deep tissue.. again so disappointed. First Lady did not know how to do deep tissue- she actually told me that! I'm not sure how I ended up with her because I requested deep tissue when I booked . I had to stop her and I asked for someone else . Second Lady came upset , she knew the anatomy better but tried to do the bare minimum. She was awkward and kept asking me after one minute if it's better ?! I kept telling her not yet because you just started.. I was so uncomfortable and couldn't wait for this sharade to be over . Customer service sucks !!! After my massage the guy just wanted to collect the payment and did not even ask me what went wrong or how was it? I asked him why he booked me with someone that did not know deep tissue and wasted my 30 minutes. He did not offer any discount or resolution, nor was he concerned about me not feeling satisfied with the service. If you value your time and money go elsewhere! Unfortunately massage therapist moved away that is why I am in this situation but I am sure there is someone out there that actually cares about the client and knows what they are doing. I will never return there . It seems like the owner dosnt care about client or the employee. I think the ladies do not enjoy working there , perhaps they have too many clients to see .. They have two specific spots right in front of the spa specifically for Chaba Thai clients only. It is next to popular food restaurants like Niko Niko, so it might get crowded in the parking lot at nights. The inside is quiet, dim, and peaceful! Inside the actual room you'll be in, there are no distractions like a clock. You can relax without hearing all the tiks and toks. I got a deep tissue massage. I always found it to be a first-rate spa, and I have never had an unpleasant experience with more than six different practitioners before I settled in with Sarah. It's a hidden little gem of quiet, private relaxation with a full menu of services, although I prefer either the Swedish or the combo. As someone who suffers from Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, I get both muscle and nerve/skeletal pain.
