First she wanted me to give the tip before the massage. The masseuse took forever to come in the room. She didn't tell me I would have to wait, which would have been fine had she told me. Then the masseuse took a phone call in the middle of the massage. When I went to go tip she said the minimum tip was $20. I told her she never said that when I asked how much was the massage. There is not another spa in Burbank that does a better job of working out my kinks... ask for Jane or Tiffy. They are the BEST! And Please tip them at least 20%, they really work hard to help you reach your best health and flexibility. NOTE: This is NOT a "rub and tug" establishment and if you're looking for that kind of action, keep looking... I've been there when a less than decent human was taken off by the Burbank PD. I think they have officially priced themselves out of the market. They have raised prices twice in a year.. They are officially the highest priced place to get a massage in the city of Burbank. I can't justify a price tag of $70 an hour.. They 1st went from 50 to 60 And now they are at 70. Usually I give the massage technician a $20 tip but I always bring cash. So now the technician only received a $10 tip because that's all I had on me on me. So I really can't recommend this placommand this place solely because of the high price. I can't help but rave about this place! I've been living in Burbank for over two years now and I like to get massages every month or so therefore I was happy to have found this little gem tucked away nearby my home. I've had a few massage therapists and they've all been very pleasant. I have back issues so some places are a lot more sensitive than others and they always try to accommodate. I typically get my massages in the evenings after work so I appreciate the late hours and the attentiveness even at the end of the day. The price is great but I would recommend using cash. I just got out of doing 2hrs of yoga inversions and felt like my spine was out of alignment. I really wanted someone to crack my back... so I figured let's get a thai massage! It was my first time trying out this place - i did a 60 minute combo massage with Cammie. I told her to go hard and whoa, she did with no hesitation! My back cracked within the first 10 minutes of her climbing up and digging her knees/toes in - it felt wonderful. Overall, there was a good balance of stretching, and digging into all of my knots & aches... I walked out pretty refreshed and satisfied. One word: Dope. I had 90 minutes to kiLL on jury duty lunch break fr the courthouse, so I popped in for a massage. She was able to take me in right away. I'm not a Thai massage expert, but I do know what feels good. The massage was on the more intense end of the scale, and there's no Swedish foreplay. Tiffany got right to it crawling/waking/kneeling on my legs, glutes, and back. I'm not used to a lot of gluteal massage, but it was (again) dope and completely professional and therapeutic. It's so easy to tell when someone is just going through the motions on auto-pilot, but I didn't feel like that was the case here. Not to sound too new-agey, but she has a good intentional technique and vibe. Also, how do they know how to stretch you almost to the point out of the comfort zone, but to the point where it hurts in a good way? Impressive. Don't you hate it when the therapist steps out for a couple minutes in the middle of it? Not here. Homegirl had it cranked up to an 11 for the entire hour. There's no half-stepping. 3/4 of the massage was focused on the posterior side, the remainder amount on the anterior/sitting up stretches. There's also a little bit of hair pulling and karate chopping, in case you're opposed to that. $5 discount for cash, they didn't ask me to pay up front. This is my very favorite place to get a massage! Been going here for years. Everyone is really sweet and professional; the place is clean and cute. The tables are warmed so you start relaxing before they even come in the room! The ladies who work on you are super experienced... for example, I had Paula today and she has been a masseuse for 10 years. You can ask for specifics and they listen - they pay attention to your body language... honestly, I wish I could give them 10 stars. I love this place! I lucked out so hard when I called to get a same day massage and I can say I had one of the best massages yet. my masseuse was so kind and respectful. A side note they are extremely covid friendly. They checked my temp gave me sanitizer and shoe guards before I stepped inside. this place was so clean and cute. A bunch of rooms and everything was spotless. I got a full body massage and she killed it! After my massage she asked if i'd like hot tea or water which was such a nice gesture. Enjoyed every aspect of this place and will def be returning. So I booked an apt here for a massage based on the reviews, seemed like a good place to go. Funny thing when I arrived they asked me to pay in advance. I was fine doing so, but told the gal that I only had card for tip and didn't want my massage therapist to not get one and thought it would be odd to leave a random tip not based on service first. After a very odd conversation with them, to which I kept saying I didn't think tipping prior to my service made sense but didn't want the therapist to get nothing they told me to find another spa if I was concerned about that...and then the girl walked away. On recommendation from a friend, I booked a couples massage here for Valentine's Day. The employees were friendly and very welcoming. The massage room/ambience was lovely. We had Benita and FiFi as our masseuses. Both ladies were AMAZING! Massage was fantastic and worth every penny! We left there feeling brand new. Highly recommend! I have really tight muscles, and they really get in there to work them out. It's painful if you get the deep tissue massage, but they will adjust the pressure if it's too much or too little. I've always had a different person each time, and they were all fantastic. read more

I was a walk-in here around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. I was warmly welcomed for a 90 minute massage with an amazing therapist named Snow. I work out too much (and I'm old) and my lower back and hips are locked up. As a result, I'm always in some kind of pain. I've spent lots of money on massage and chiropractic visits, and altogether none of it has had as much benefit as this one Thai massage from Snow. There was nothing dreamy about it, mind you. It was quite painful at times, but it was obvious she knew how to get right to the problem, and then worked on it relentlessly. The day after I was pretty sore, but I was also relieved of much pain and it was clear I'd gained quite a bit of mobility that I've not had in a while. So, wow. I'm sold. Snow was great. They told me the address and they accepted and appointment was confirmed, I might slightly late and stepped in the spa from the back door. all therapist was slept. and nobody at front desk. a lady said "I ll take care of you" So started massage was light and no pressure hit anywhere my muscle sore. then started stomping my back but wait, I do prefer thai massage and do not wanted stepping and swedish combo that man loves. Just had the worst massage of my life - and I get one weekly, so I've had a few. My masseuse spoke perfect English (she was Latina, not Thai), worked hard, and used hard pressure. I had my massage with Jane. She comes highly recommended from my very good friend, Grace. I went to her the day after a CrossFit competition I competed in. Fearful of being sore for the rest of the week, I went to Jane to get my knots and other kinks worked on. Jane was very strong and firm. She listened to the areas I said I would like her to focus on and worked on those areas. I was so relaxed that I didn't even realize she was standing on me already lol. Very nice place with very friendly staff! I had my first and second prenatal massage in Lana Thai Spa. The setting of the office is not like a traditional spa, but once you close your eyes, they dim the lights and the music is playing...you are more concerned about the quality of the massage, not the wall hangings :) If you look at the prices for the plush spa's, you are DEFINITELY paying to look at the wall hangings!! My massage therapist did a wonderful job. I was very comfortable (being 28 weeks preggers) and I was completely relaxed by the time the massage was done. Weird vibes! Made an appointment for that evening for a couples massage and got there about ten minutes early- stood there awkwardly while the person at the front desk argued with someone we couldn't see behind a curtain. Not super relaxing! Proceeded to get one of the angriest massages of my life, including have long nails dig into the soles of my feet and at one point having my hair sat on!!!! After my masseuse left about halfway through to argue loudly with someone in another room, the door opened and closed several times while I was barely covered in a dinky towel. About ten minutes later a completely different (and much nicer) person came to finish what she started. My husband said his masseuse changed halfway through as well so who know what was going on. Ask for Tammy! She's a miracle worker. I had the WORST knot in my shoulder and after 90 min she was able to get the knot out. This is my go to place. I have gone a few times all the girls are amazing but for me I love her strength behind the skills and it's amazing. It's worth every single penny. The place is very clean. They always welcome you and there's candy on the table with magazines and a diffuser in the waiting room. The waiting room is dark but very pretty.
