A bit pricier than most in the area. But what really got to me was that I payed $70 up-front for a one hour session, but my masseuse was purposefully cutting me off 10 minutes short. I explained to her that she started the massage 5 minutes after the hour, and she was arguing that she had to be out by 10pm. After explaining my point, she reluctantly proceeded to massage my head for the remainder of time. We get a massage to relax, not to argue or get ripped off. If she really didn't want to work then she should not have accepted my appointment. Unprofessional. To top it off, she still wanted a tip. The location is clean, but for the price I've had better service. Many other massage parlors to choose from. read more

Professional through and through. Been going here for years. If you want a super deep tissue/sports massage Pinky is your gal. Be careful what you ask for though it's is DEEP lol. My wife and I have had massages from everyone there and they're all great in their own ways. Enjoy! read more

First she wanted me to give the tip before the massage. The masseuse took forever to come in the room. She didn't tell me I would have to wait, which would have been fine had she told me. Then the masseuse took a phone call in the middle of the massage. When I went to go tip she said the minimum tip was $20. I told her she never said that when I asked how much was the massage. How do you have minimum tip? Just raise your price and I will tip based on the service I receive. Will hat a scam. No thank you, I won't be returning. read more

Lana Thai Spa - New prices as of Oct 18 2021 - Massage Near Me - Burbank, California

My wife and I had a great first experience. We have had been to all kinds of massages. And if you are looking to relieve tight muscles, this is the type of massage you want. It's the kind where they walk on your back. I appreciated the attention to detail of the problem areas. I liked being bent like a pretzel. And could just tell they knew what they were doing and were passionate about being true healers! I think it a great value for the money even with a big tip. The work is excellent and based on value, not time. What's worth not having a tight back and being able move and flex! read more

I tried this place again after several years of not going here because there massages were not good. Nothings changed. The massages are still terrible. The movements were so repetitive I thought she was going to rub my skin raw. It was a terrible massage. I left annoyed rather than relaxed. read more

I have been going to Lana for years, started with Jane at a different spa and have followed her to this location. There is not another spa in Burbank that does a better job of working out my kinks... ask for Jane or Tiffy. They are the BEST! And Please tip them at least 20%, they really work hard to help you reach your best health and flexibility. NOTE: This is NOT a "rub and tug" establishment and if you're looking for that kind of action, keep looking... I've been there when a less than decent human was taken off by the Burbank PD. I only share this because I feel completely safe at this spa. no funny business, just the business of mind, body, and health. read more

I think they have officially priced themselves out of the market. They have raised prices twice in a year.. They are officially the highest priced place to get a massage in the city of Burbank. I can't justify a price tag of $70 an hour.. They 1st went from 50 to 60 And now they are at 70. Usually I give the massage technician a $20 tip but I always bring cash. So now the technician only received a $10 tip because that's all I had on me on me. So I really can't recommend this placommand this place solely because of the high price. There are a lot of other places in town with a much lower price usually starting at $50So good luck read more

Absolutely awesome Place. Pammy was my masseuse and she was not only very good at what she does, but extremely nice and its clear she really cares about her customers. She worked out several knots and super tight muscles, and i feel better than I have in a long time. I'll be back to see Pammy for sure! read more

I can't help but rave about this place! I've been living in Burbank for over two years now and I like to get massages every month or so therefore I was happy to have found this little gem tucked away nearby my home. I've had a few massage therapists and they've all been very pleasant. I have back issues so some places are a lot more sensitive than others and they always try to accommodate. I typically get my massages in the evenings after work so I appreciate the late hours and the attentiveness even at the end of the day. The price is great but I would recommend using cash. Enjoy! read more

I just got out of doing 2hrs of yoga inversions and felt like my spine was out of alignment. I really wanted someone to crack my back... so I figured let's get a thai massage! It was my first time trying out this place - i did a 60 minute combo massage with Cammie. I told her to go hard and whoa, she did with no hesitation! My back cracked within the first 10 minutes of her climbing up and digging her knees/toes in - it felt wonderful. Overall, there was a good balance of stretching, and digging into all of my knots & aches... I walked out pretty refreshed and satisfied. They take credit card, but bring cash (it'll be a little cheaper). read more

The Quality of the massage is going down. The masseuse lacked skill and might have well used a mallet.

One word: Dope. I had 90 minutes to kiLL on jury duty lunch break fr the courthouse, so I popped in for a massage. She was able to take me in right away. I'm not a Thai massage expert, but I do know what feels good. The massage was on the more intense end of the scale, and there's no Swedish foreplay. Tiffany got right to it crawling/waking/kneeling on my legs, glutes, and back. I'm not used to a lot of gluteal massage, but it was (again) dope and completely professional and therapeutic. It's so easy to tell when someone is just going through the motions on auto-pilot, but I didn't feel like that was the case here. Not to sound too new-agey, but she has a good intentional technique and vibe. Also, how do they know how to stretch you almost to the point out of the comfort zone, but to the point where it hurts in a good way? Impressive. Don't you hate it when the therapist steps out for a couple minutes in the middle of it? Not here. Homegirl had it cranked up to an 11 for the entire hour. There's no half-stepping. 3/4 of the massage was focused on the posterior side, the remainder amount on the anterior/sitting up stretches. There's also a little bit of hair pulling and karate chopping, in case you're opposed to that. $5 discount for cash, they didn't ask me to pay up front. The bad news is my super-relaxed, post massage vibe got me selected for the jury. The good news is I'll be spending my lunch breaks with Tiffany. #massagehairDontcare read more

Try them, they are the best. Finally I found a good massage place, you won't be disappointed, Katie is the best if you like real hard deep massage. Thanks Lana and many thanks Katie. 10 star read more

No shower, massage was ok but not satisfying. I will definitely add a shower because of the area and the price. I have no more comms but I will not come back read more

I lucked out so hard when I called to get a same day massage and I can say I had one of the best massages yet. my masseuse was so kind and respectful. A side note they are extremely covid friendly. They checked my temp gave me sanitizer and shoe guards before I stepped inside. this place was so clean and cute. A bunch of rooms and everything was spotless. I got a full body massage and she killed it! After my massage she asked if i'd like hot tea or water which was such a nice gesture. Enjoyed every aspect of this place and will def be returning. I wish I got my masseuse name but I'm open to trying new masseuses to see their techniques. read more

LOVE! best massages I've been 3 times and will definitely be back again! Highly recommend! read more

This is my very favorite place to get a massage! Been going here for years. Everyone is really sweet and professional; the place is clean and cute. The tables are warmed so you start relaxing before they even come in the room! The ladies who work on you are super experienced... for example, I had Paula today and she has been a masseuse for 10 years. You can ask for specifics and they listen - they pay attention to your body language... honestly, I wish I could give them 10 stars. I love this place! I was able to walk in today on a whim, but it would be best to make an appointment, if only out of respect for their time and schedules. read more

So I booked an apt here for a massage based on the reviews, seemed like a good place to go. Funny thing when I arrived they asked me to pay in advance. I was fine doing so, but told the gal that I only had card for tip and didn't want my massage therapist to not get one and thought it would be odd to leave a random tip not based on service first. After a very odd conversation with them, to which I kept saying I didn't think tipping prior to my service made sense but didn't want the therapist to get nothing they told me to find another spa if I was concerned about that...and then the girl walked away. What in the world??? Welp, I won't ever come here again, bummer. read more

Super frustrated leaving here. I asked for a 1 hour deep tissue massage. I ended up calling it off half way through because all they did was literally pour oil and rub it on me. I left, still greasy from all the oil, & would not recommend because they clearly don't know what they are doing. read more

On recommendation from a friend, I booked a couples massage here for Valentine's Day. The employees were friendly and very welcoming. The massage room/ambience was lovely. We had Benita and FiFi as our masseuses. Both ladies were AMAZING! Massage was fantastic and worth every penny! We left there feeling brand new. I've had many massages in my life and this was definitely one of the top 2. Will definitely be back. The ladies prefer cash to cards, so be sure to pay/tip in cash. Great spot. read more

Highly recommend! I have really tight muscles, and they really get in there to work them out. It's painful if you get the deep tissue massage, but they will adjust the pressure if it's too much or too little. I've always had a different person each time, and they were all fantastic. read more

Really enjoyed this place. This was my 3rd time here massage had never disappoint me. One thing that didn't like this time was that I got asked to tip $10 more which I always tip $40 which I think it's a great tip. I did tip $50 but it'll be my last time here. There a plenty other good spots around. Just though I'll settle here. Give it 2 stars place is clean. This place has also higher rates in the area. read more

Very pleased with this massage! I'm an airline pilot and get massages as often as I can in many different states and countries. The first impression walking in cleanliness, smells nice and beautifully decorated. This ethic conveyed in the massage. Asked for deep Thai massage and wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend!!!! read more

Careful! These ladies will walk all over you! And they will do it for a great price too. This is the only place I trust in the Burbank area.

I have been coming here for about two years and it's quality and good pricing. I've been using Katie who is phenomenal, working miracles on my back. Katie was taking few weeks of so I had the pleasure of meeting Tammie. I told her about my shoulder and back pain and she went right to work. She has to be one of the best in the entire place. I highly recommend Katie and Tammie if you suffer from chronic back / shoulder pain. read more

I was a walk-in here around 4:30pm on a Wednesday. I was warmly welcomed for a 90 minute massage with an amazing therapist named Snow. I work out too much (and I'm old) and my lower back and hips are locked up. As a result, I'm always in some kind of pain. I've spent lots of money on massage and chiropractic visits, and altogether none of it has had as much benefit as this one Thai massage from Snow. There was nothing dreamy about it, mind you. It was quite painful at times, but it was obvious she knew how to get right to the problem, and then worked on it relentlessly. The day after I was pretty sore, but I was also relieved of much pain and it was clear I'd gained quite a bit of mobility that I've not had in a while. So, wow. I'm sold. Snow was great. Beyond great. I'll definitely be back. $75 for a 90 minute Thai massage. A total steal. Highly recommend. read more

I would say the girls here are the most experienced you will find in LA county for the price. $50 an hour and it is the same as paying over $100 at massage envy or a hotel spa or another high end place. They are very professional and worth every penny! Make sure you tip them well too! read more

I had no luck. Went to at 8:40 to get 60min Thai Massage. of course called them before arrival. They told me the address and they accepted and appointment was confirmed, I might slightly late and stepped in the spa from the back door. all therapist was slept. and nobody at front desk. a lady said "I ll take care of you" So started massage was light and no pressure hit anywhere my muscle sore. then started stomping my back but wait, I do prefer thai massage and do not wanted stepping and swedish combo that man loves. I asked her to stop the service, and I also asked change massage therapist. (obviously another therapist came and sit down at front desk) but there is no availability who could perform authentic Thai massage I am also massage therapist and learnt Thai Wat-po style pressure therapy It was sad experience read more

I had my massage with Jane. She comes highly recommended from my very good friend, Grace. I went to her the day after a CrossFit competition I competed in. Fearful of being sore for the rest of the week, I went to Jane to get my knots and other kinks worked on. Jane was very strong and firm. She listened to the areas I said I would like her to focus on and worked on those areas. I was so relaxed that I didn't even realize she was standing on me already lol. Don't get me wrong, when she hit the spots that were super tight or knotted, there was definitely discomfort, but it wasn't unbearable. She definitely loosened my shoulders a lot. Mission accomplished. I wasn't sore at all for the week. read more

Very nice place with very friendly staff! I had my first and second prenatal massage in Lana Thai Spa. The setting of the office is not like a traditional spa, but once you close your eyes, they dim the lights and the music is playing...you are more concerned about the quality of the massage, not the wall hangings :) If you look at the prices for the plush spa's, you are DEFINITELY paying to look at the wall hangings!! My massage therapist did a wonderful job. I was very comfortable (being 28 weeks preggers) and I was completely relaxed by the time the massage was done. Great experience....I should've done this sooner!! read more

Amazing!! Best thai massage ever (unless you actually go to Thailand)! I've actually been to Thailand and it was even better here. My husband has arthritis in his hips and a messed up back, and they straightened him out. I felt wonderful afterward too. My shoulders were sore for a day but I'm so tense it's expected. It was quite a healing experience and better than the chiropractor! Highly recommend for the price. I easily pay double for a couple's thai massage in Pasadena. So glad I accidentally stumbled in here. read more

Just had the worst massage of my life - and I get one weekly, so I've had a few. My masseuse spoke perfect English (she was Latina, not Thai), worked hard, and used hard pressure. What she lacked was any technique and any intuition. She definitely caused damage instead of loosed knots. Very sad to have wasted 90 minutes of my life and $100. read more

Weird vibes! Made an appointment for that evening for a couples massage and got there about ten minutes early- stood there awkwardly while the person at the front desk argued with someone we couldn't see behind a curtain. Not super relaxing! Proceeded to get one of the angriest massages of my life, including have long nails dig into the soles of my feet and at one point having my hair sat on!!!! After my masseuse left about halfway through to argue loudly with someone in another room, the door opened and closed several times while I was barely covered in a dinky towel. About ten minutes later a completely different (and much nicer) person came to finish what she started. My husband said his masseuse changed halfway through as well so who know what was going on. Second star is for the very nice person that worked on me for the last fifteen minutes. Everything else was awkward and bizarre! read more

Ask for Tammy! She's a miracle worker. I had the WORST knot in my shoulder and after 90 min she was able to get the knot out. This is my go to place. I have gone a few times all the girls are amazing but for me I love her strength behind the skills and it's amazing. It's worth every single penny. The place is very clean. They always welcome you and there's candy on the table with magazines and a diffuser in the waiting room. The waiting room is dark but very pretty. It's a relaxing atmosphere even if you have to wait-but trust me the most you'll wait is 5 min. I have always called and have been able to make an appt the day of. read more

Best massage hands down. Thai must be the way to go. Called and they got me in in 45 minutes. Didn't know what to expect or ask for, before I know it, she is kneeling, standing, bending and massaging me into submission and goosebumps all over. Full body, one hour, $55. I tipped $25. If I had cash it would only have been $50. read more

My usual place was booked solid on a Sunday. So, I checked in at Lana. I was suffering from a tension type headache with Knots in my neck. My masseuse asked how much pressure and she delivered the perfect Amount that I asked for. I left relieved of the headache and very relaxed. Needless to say I will be back for more ASAP. read more
