I rated it 4 star as the extra star goes to 2 staff, which was very kind and attend us well. My cheese enchilada with the Cotija cheese and green sauce were just want I wanted. The carne asada con huevo was delightful and the meat was tender and had good flavor. The Carnitas were tender and the egg top made it perfect for breakfast. My buddy who ordered the chicken hash and poached eggs the meal had a lot of flavor as well. Good food, lively atmosphere, and given todays economy, decent happy hour! Pulled up a seat at the bar on a Saturday for happy hour (which runs all day Sunday through Thursday and from 11:30-7 on Fridays and Saturdays) and made sure to get there early as we knew space would be limited for our group of 4. The bar is actually fairly sizable, I'd say it seats about 24 all around (square bar with seating 360) but, as you can imagine, getting barstools together for a larger group can be tricky. The bartenders greeted us right away and took our food and drink orders. Shortly after we were brought chips and salsa prior to our food being brought out. Pro tip- get the grande drinks! They're 32oz in comparison to a 12-14oz and they're surprisingly strong! Most other places definitely water down their large drinks with mixers, etc. but Cha Cha's pleasantly surprised me! For food we ordered their guacamole (always fresh and amazing) and their aguachiles (also fresh and amazing) Had a great time, and eventually moved to a seated table for our meal. We eat at Cha Cha's all the time and everything is always very good. My girlfriend is super picky on her chips and salsa and Cha Cha's are among her favorite. It works out well that they give you two different salsas because the green is my favorite and the red is hers. Their mango habanero margarita is the best margarita I have ever had and I always order it spicy with tajin and large size. My girlfriend decided to try something different this time and had the blueberry serrano daiquiri which she really enjoyed. I almost always order either the carne asada or seafood caldo but I hadn't had steak in a week so I went with that. It was cooked perfectly medium rare and I love the accompanying onions, poblano peppers, and chimichurri sauce. The potatoes are good too but I'm usually too full from the steak and chips to finish them all. My girlfriend had the three taco combo with fish and shrimp. She liked them although she mentioned that there was very little shrimp. Our server Cherish was super friendly and gave great service. It can sometimes be a little loud inside and it seemed extra loud this time. Luckily we were seated at a table with four seats so we were able to sit next to each other.
